It's like the last hurrah of Mad Men. Awesome boardroom atmosphere, and great nouveau-cuisine-ish food. I'd definitely go back!

Went here with a group of 5. Was by far the worst meal I've ever had out. This place is way over rated and over priced. Had the oysters Rockefeller for apps, they were just ok, nothing special. Had the 7oz steak which they did comp us for because they were so bad. Grilled Asparagus was pretty much raw. The speciality chicken dish which was suppose to have crab, none could be found on two dishes, was no more the size of a chicken nugget. I.can't believe any chef would have sent those plates to any table. I did rate a 2 only because the service was very very good. I really wanted to like this place, and went there because of the high rating on yelp. So so disappointed.

I travel to Greenwood regularly and am surprised not to see any posts for this fine place. I have to say that I never really frequented this restaurant until recently and have to applaud TJ, Chef David, Miller, Kevin and others for the outstanding job they do. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the upstate for various reasons, but I always say that there are three things that keep me returning. The food, the service and the atmosphere and this place gets an A+ in all three. This place is a nice place to unwind to. Chef David is an outstanding attentive chef. He pays attention to detail, diversifies the menu with delicious specials and uses fresh local farms and produce. With me being a food snob, I have to say that every delectable morsel that has gone into my mouth has been delicious and enjoyable. To my surprise, David is always rotating food preparation, so you may have roasted eggplant one evening, and grilled eggplant the next. I would be surprised if you ever found instant potatoes at this place. The roasted chicken is one of my favorites. It takes about 45 minutes to prepare, but the atmosphere and service standards makes this place one of the best places to wait. TJ, the manager, runs a professional restaurant. He keeps the wine and beer selection top notch and familiar with all of his guests. His entire staff is genuinely kind and professional, and extremely attentive. He makes sure that his guests feel welcome when they come with no pretense. He looks out for you, as his guest. The entire wait staff is also awesome, sincerely making sure that your evening is a nice one. This restaurant has been around for a while. I came about 10 years ago, and thought it was OK. Since reconnecting in the last year, I have to say that the 'above standard' food and service are pleasantly consistent, and the dining atmosphere is very very nice. :) *******

Montague's is ok. I think it is a little more thought of then what it should be. The restaurant is a little dated and the food is ok. I was told it is one of the best "high end" restaurants in Greenwood, and it may be, but the menu and quality to not hold up to what you see in larger cities. It's with going to if you live in Greenwood, but if you are expecting true cuisine, you may want to take a trip to Greenville.

Montague's used to be our go-to for a nice night out. They've slipped down a few notches in the last year or two. It's a dark, classic steak house kind of place, with a great menu and a good bar. I remember the best tomato bisque I've ever tasted, but that was years ago. The last time we went, the service was slow and sloppy, and the food lacked the flair it once had. It's a good place for a large group, and I do find they do a better job when they know a crowd is coming.
