Surprised based on other's comments about how good this place is. We thought it was the worst meal that we've ever had in greenville. I had tuna melt and the tuna was horrible. Hubby had stuffed potato and he said the potato had to have been cooked a reheated for a week. We went into travelers rest to get dessert and get the taste from dinner out of our mouths.

Perfectly decent sandwich shop located in the publix shopping center. While the sandwiches are acceptable, what really sets this location apart is the potato salad. Seriously. Try the potato salad!!

Best grilled cheese I've ever had- I always get it! Prices are fair, they're always quick and friendly, and the cookies are great too!

So I've driven by here a lot, and that "best Reuben" sign finally reeled me in. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, or maybe our expectations were too high? Either way the first thing we notice is that their Reuben costs $10.25, and not the $8.95 that their webpage shows. I figure at $10.25 it's gonna be a pretty amazing sandwich though right? Anyone ever have the market fresh Reubens from Arby's a few years back? Karrie's is about the same size, and same quality of ingredients. For maybe $4, I probably would have have been happy. The cornbeef was pretty bland, and looked like cheap prepackaged processed meat. The dressing and kraut were fine, but the bread was the worst. It was pressed so thin it didn't have a chance against all those wet ingredients, and it was also barely recognizable as rye. The other sandwich we had there wasn't too bad, but not enough to make up for the Reuben.

I have eaten at this place several times and it seems to be consistently good. If you are in the mood for a good sandwich this is definitely a good option. If you are on a budget maybe not so much. Although the food is good, the price is not so much. Hard to justify 1 plain cheeseburger, a turkey sandwich and one ham bagel for $27.00.

My favorite sandwich shop in all of GREENVILLE. The absolute best sandwiches, great service! :)

I've been to Karrie's several times now. There is an extensive menu with a wide range of food, some very healthy and "lite." And every day that I've been there they feature specials as well. Karrie's is in Furman U country, and there are often college students there, but the lunch crowd is a pleasant mix of middle-aged women and men, some business types, and old retired guys like me. I can't testify to the night crowd - there is a bar with good beer on tap along with many bottle choices, so I can imagine it might get a bit loud, but lunch has been peaceful, which is the way I like it. I usually go with a friend who works in downtown Greenville. Now, Karrie's is about 5 or 6 miles from that area, but unless he is on a very tight schedule, since I introduced him to the place, he is often eager to come here. He has gone for the BLT (which he pronounced delicious) and more frequently something from the specials list. For instance on our last visit, only a wee or so ago he ordered something that I found an interesting mix of health and red-meat protein: a cheeseburger wrap. He really liked it! As for my own choice, I will confess that every time I come I order the Reuben. When I first moved into the Furman area I saw a sign in the shopping area in which Karrie's is located that touted Karries as having the best Reuben around (I'm forgetting the direct quote, but you get my point) and in my modest opinion they are right! The service is friendly and fast, there is a pleasant atmosphere as as noted above a wide range of choices on the menu - but do yourself a favor and try the Reuben. If you don't love it I'll be very surprised!

Yet again Karrie out did herself! Best sandwiches in town. Gina and Karrie always make us feel welcome.

May is vegetarian month for me, so we found this deli and give it a try. The Portabello was great!

While stopping into SC I was pleasantly surprised by this little local joint. I personally didn't love the Reuben they tout, but the turkey was over the top. Great local service and clean surroundings make this a safe stop in.

Aside from the psycho "glove" chick on here with the one-star review, this places deserves some credit. I admit I was a little skeptical when we first went in, since there was no one in there at the dinner hour. We were with our two dogs and sat outside on the side patio. The gal behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating. We had just moved into town from the West Coast and were looking at some housing options in the Traveler's Rest area, so this is how we happened upon the deli. Our Greek salad with chicken was good and we were hooked up with a little extra meat since we were splitting the salad. Even our dogs, who have been turning their noses at every food on our trip, loved the thin-sliced chicken that was served. I'm giving four stars for the whole experience, which included the relaxing dog-friendly evening we passed while we ate and had a pint, as the waxing quarter moon was rising over the western horizon and the beautiful mountains loomed to the north.

So glad we decided to wander in here one day when we first moved to the area as we have been going back ever since. The pesto pecan chicken salad is to die for just like everything else I've tried. Karrie works the grill and is great to chat with. As far as delis go .... this is a sure hit.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT IN THIS PLACE. We have come to this Publix often from Asheville and if it is lunch time we will go to the Mexican restaurant next door. We always see the advertisement for the Best Ruben and finally decided to stop in for lunch. MISTAKE. The preparation counter is open for everyone to see. So I noticed the woman making the sandwiches was not wearing any gloves. I also watched her wipe her hands on her apron over and over, then go back to the sandwiches. Therefore, I asked her to please put on a pair of gloves when she makes my Ruben. You would have thought I asked her to cut off a limb. She was insulted; she became rude and then began talking about me to the cashier. You would have thought the answer I would have received would have been: My Pleasure; I would be glad to....BUT NOT in this place. The entire time we waited for our sandwich she continued to talk about it to the cashier and act all out of joint. When it came time to make our sandwiches she holds up her hands and yells: See, Gloves. Good thing I was not her boss as I would have fired her on the spot and remind her, as she is going thru the door, the importance of customers and how without them....you don't have a business. I just wonder, when did customer service not prevail in a business? I can guarantee my husband and I will NEVER go back there and I hope many other YELP readers who read this will walk past Karrie's and go to the Mexican restaurant next door, which provides great service and great food, at a great price. Oh and their claim on the Best Ruben...NOT. I had to hunt for the sauerkraut, over priced with only a bag a chips. My motto....Walk On By.

What an awesome place! Best sandwich shop in Greenville County. The nicest and most hard working people are employed here. Perfect place to take a friend for afternoon lunch and chat. Sandwiches as well as side dishes are awesome. Good to know there is somewhere that can give you several different types of homemade pasta salad rather than a bag of chips. Try the Hammond Veggie!

Very casual. Looks like a fairly popular place for lunch. I had the Wilson Max, a twist on a Reuben. Very good. Everyone else in my party seemed pleased as well. Not a lot of gluten-free options. The prices have gone up compared to the current menu online. Still reasonable.

This place is delicious. I come through town about 4 times a year and eat at least one meal here sometimes two. Everything is home made and there's always something new.
