The food was pretty good but service is lacking. The lady who brought out our food was far more attentive to us than our waitress. If she had come by the table regularly we probably would have bought at least one more round of beers but instead we just checked out.

Stopped in with friends on a busy Friday night to address my oyster craving. Three dozen raw took care of the craving, while others at the table had a couple of dozen fried, some coconut shrimp, calamari, hush puppies, peanut butter pie, and key lime pie. Everything was great, and the service was perfect. Not an open table in the place while we were there, and still able to provide top notch service. I will definitely be back!

Ok we just ate here. We had the fried calamari and crab cakes for a appetizer both were very good. I had the grouper sandwich they had no more grouper so they gave me Mihi -Mihi instead tasted great. My wife got the shrimp taco's which were also very tasty. Our waitress was Kenzie she was great. Next time we come we will leave are 8 year old home so he doesn't complain that my Clam Chowder taste better. But I will say there clam chowder is great.

A comfortable, casual setting with friendly staff and great food! Wouldn't know it existed if it were not recommended by a friend! This place gives that "other" crab/seafood place a run for its money. We will be back and will recommend it to our friends too!

Worst oyster Rockefeller I ever had. Soggy bacon with a mozzarella cheese served on tiny left over oyster that they would not serve in half shell. Oyster poorboy was fair but for $12 you would expect more than 4 oysters. We has a $10 off coupon and our 2 entrees were still $21. Agree with overpriced Long john silvers comparison. Huge disappointment. Waitress was very sweet and attentive.

Probably should have checked the reviews before our visit there on Saturday. Lesson learned. As one reviewer put it, it's basically Long John Silver's at a higher price. Only I think Long John Silver's might actually have better food. Yes, they still allow smoking! So be prepared. Don't expect a beach theme atmosphere...this bar is rough and tumble. So, if that's your scene- enjoy.

Food was what you would expect but, our waitress, McKenzie was polite she was not trained well. She rarely checked on us and we had to flag down other servers for help. When trying to pay the bill we waited for nearly 10 minutes before my husband got up and found her sitting on a bench talking to the hostess. We saw other servers frequently talk to their guests. No manager was apparent.

Well let me summarize: McKenzie was great Beer was cold Apps were good Downside. Paid 22$ for 6 oysters, 2 small pieces of fish, fries etc. Not real happy about that part. Wife enjoyed the crab legs. Overall about a 3.5 out of 5 for a birthday meal.

I was very disappointed with the fish basket appetizer. For $9.95 I got four pieces of cod not much bigger than a dollar coin. My friend had a big sandwich and fries for the same price. Conclusion ... DON'T order their cheapskate appetizers!

We came from Chicago and the owner remembered us from our stay at the Camden house! Food and company was great!

Went Sunday night. Seems to still allow smoking, too bad for non-smokers! The "Little Neck" clams were by some web definitions, too small to qualify for this descriptor, one and three eights wide. The waiter had initiative and the live band had an appreciative following. Drinks were palatable, not impressionable. Don't plan on returning.

Great seafood! I haven't been everywhere in Greenville for shrimp, but these were the best I have had here so far!

Had the combo of three, fried oysters, shrimp and Bimini's fish. It was all cooked perfect and the oysters were huge. Service was great and I will keep coming back.

Enjoyed my first visit to Bimini's. Although it was on a quiet Saturday afternoon and place was just about empty so I didn't feel I got the full show - plan to be back and update my review. We did try the clam chowder and a 1/2 lb of peel and eat shrimp. Both were very good and I found myself craving more the next day. The décor of Bimini's is island tiki hut. What you would expect beach side in FL or....on Bimini. I enjoyed what I saw and look forward to going back when there is more life in the place.

We have been to Bimini's a handful of times and have gone back because we like the atmosphere and live music. That being said, the food is comparable to Long John Silvers, but way more expensive, and the drinks are ok at best. My latest experience here was most definitely my last. My husband and I went there on a Thursday night at about 8 pm. There were a few people at the bar, and 2 tables occupied. Shortly after we ordered our drinks, we smelled cigarette smoke. I thought maybe someone had come in the door who had been smoking, but we continued smelling it only to find out it was coming out of the kitchen along with extremely loud rap music. Totally unacceptable. So happy to know Greenville has a lot more to offer as far as restaurants go and I don't need to come back to this place.

First visit here, and I enjoyed it. Came in on early on a Saturday evening for a casual seafood supper, and it was not at all crowded. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was friendly and light, and we were greeted by multiple people walking to our table. Our server quickly took our drink orders--they have a fairly typical selection of bottle and draft beer, plus wine and a cocktail list. We began to peruse the menu; Bimini's serves all the usual assortment of fried seafood baskets with hushpuppies, fries and slaw, plus poboys, clam chowder, and a few burgers and salads. I chose the shrimp and grits, which was a big bowl of southern comfort food. Bacon bits were mixed in and it was topped with grated cheddar: a real stick-to-your-ribs kinda meal. The waiter warned me it was spicy, but I didn't think it was bad and could have easily tolerated more heat. I would have liked an increase in the shrimp: grits ratio, but it was a tasty southern dish overall. My dining companion had a mix of fried oysters and shrimp. The hushpuppies that came with were a little overdone, but the rest of the meal was good. As we finished our meal, the manager was walking around greeting people and thanking them for coming in. I liked that little personal touch.

Absolutely awful!! Had the worst service here and I have NEVER walked out of a restaurant until tonight!! Stacey male was our waiter and had to tell him over and over again what our order was and still didn't get it right then said that the printer broke and our order got lost. So for a total of an hour of being there we had 4 drinks served and everything was STILL lost!!! NEVER again!!! Then the attitude the waiter gave us was beyond remotely appropriate, laughing and joking like it wasn't a big deal. Lay off the drugs next time before you come to work!!! Ugh

I've been to the one at myrtle beach but this is even better !!! Clean and friendly environment with a happy fun staff. The food was amazing! By far the best seafood joint I've found in the upstate . The seafood kabobs were out of this world .

Second time we have tried this place. We left even more disappointed. The first time we ordered clams and they were served like oysters. Only one out of a dozen was edible. For our second trip, we sat at our table for about 15 minutes and no one came to say hi or offer us a drink. I wouldn't mind so much if it was crowded, but there was plenty of staff for the half full room. Two bad experiences out of two tries. I give up.

This restaurant would definitely not give any one an outstanding first impression before going in because it is not located near the main road . Sitting in the restaurant during noon time, I felt that the space was filled with sunshine which gave me good mood. I ordered clams but regretted afterwards because I really didn't like American clams. The service was pretty good and she constantly checked on us.

Good food and atmosphere but beware if placing a to go order. We were told 10 minutes so I got there 15 minutes after I placed the order. I waited 5 minutes after I got there and was then told it would be another 10-15 minutes.

First - it is an easy location to find, but parking is pretty tight. The atmosphere is very casual, in fact they even have sand on the ground leading to the front door. Kind of reminded me of a beach front diner. The service was very friendly, but we had a waitress who had only been there a month and she had to make a few extra trips to the kitchen than normally needed. But she was very nice. I'd rather have friendly and inefficient than professional and cranky. Food was very good. I had a combo plate of deviled crab and crab cake and it was very good. The hush puppies are terrific and even better with some honey butter. My wife had raw oysters and said they were very good and then had their scallops which were firm and fresh. Our friends had a boiled fish dinner for two. I couldn't believe how much food was served to them - it seemed endless. They said it was good as well. Must have been, they didn't leave a bite behind. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, great food. We'll be back for sure.

If you're looking for a place to eat raw oysters, drink beer and watch TV, then this is your place. If you're looking for good seafood and competently crafted cocktails, there are better choices. The food was less appetizing than we had hoped for. I got the seafood kabobs which paired perfectly prepared scallops with extremely overcooked fish. As a combination, it was merely acceptable. I was looking for something that might have been considered healthy, but the kabobs didn't measure up to good eats. My wife got the "famous Bimini fish" which was so over fried that the breading tasted tasted burnt. She didn't finish it and one bite was enough for me to figure out what had gone wrong. We had four drinks between us, all of which were a disappointment. I'm not sure there was any rum at all in my Mojito, it had almost no flavor. It looked and tasted like club soda with ratty spearmint leaves floating in it. My bride's house margarita, served in a gold rimmed, branded beer glass, was also bland and fell short of what she considers "a good margarita." Next up, I spotted a novelty on the menu and ordered it. It was a beer based oyster shooter. I've had vodka based shooters in many restaurants and they are a favorite when properly prepared. The Bimini beer based oyster shooter looked bad and tasted worse. My guess is that speed drinkers may love it because it's cheap. The second one was merely an experiment confirming my thoughts about the first. Do not order these unless you are already drunk. If the service were better, I'd have been a bit more charitable about our experience. Our waiter was AWOL for so much of the meal, that I told him we were contemplating a search party to go find him. Meh. As luck would have it, we ran into friends on the way to the car and advised them to turn around. If you care about good seafood, then I'd suggest you do the same. If, however, you're looking for cheap beer and oysters at Happy Hour and can tolerate beach kitsch so far from the shore, then you may have stumbled into your kind of joint.

I ate here while apartment hunting in Greenville. My dad is a big fan of oysters and was super excited to try this place. We got there around 7:30pm on a Saturday night and the place was super busy, plenty of people waiting and standing at the bar. We had a reasonable 40 minute wait before being sat. The oysters rockefeller were very good, as well as the crab legs, monterey stuffed shrimp, and seafood kabobs. Our waitress was very nice and efficient. Since I'm moving to the area for work I have no doubt I'll be here again.

We have been fans of Bimini's at Myrtle Beach for a long time. Naturally, we were excited to see a new location open just miles from our house. We arrived for dinner and we're greeted at the door by a very friendly man who thanked us for coming. I assume he is the owner or manager. We were seated right away and greeted by the server for drinks promptly. We were informed that it was still happy hour and given a happy hour menu. Nice 5 dollar apps and discounts on drinks of which we ordered 2. Both were served hot and crispy. The drink I ordered tasted nice and not over powered with too much alcohol. The crab legs arrived in a pot and very hot. They looked like an advertisement. They were of more than adequate size and tasted great! If I had to say anything could improve, I would say they are a little pricey. However, I am more than happy to pay for seafood this far from the coast if it will always taste like this. We will be back Beminis! Well done.

I would give Bimini's 3.5 stars. They had an excellent crab salad on the menu but when I went back to get it a couple months later, they said it was gone (off the menu). Bummer, it was real crab and probably their best dish. Oysters Rockefeller there are terrible...no flavor, not rockefeller at all. The fried oysters are pretty good. Their happy hour is decent because it is half off appetizers. I also like the oyster shooters with beer in them. It is just OK. I think the Bimini's at Myrtle Beach is better!

Oyster shooter was perfectly made with a good size oyster and the right amount of vodka and cocktail sauce. Oysters on the half shell were a little small but good and the clan chowder was great with more clams than potatos. Had the soft shell fish tacos which were just OK - I expected more. The patio was a great place to sit on a summer night - not as crowded as the bar and dinning areas. The good service kept this to a 4 star rating.

I had to go back and edit this review because Donnie from Bimini's went ABOVE and BEYOND. After posting my review he contacted me regarding my experience and asked how they could improve and invited me and my husband back. At first I was skeptical but we went back tonight and I am really glad we did. First, our service was fantastic - even though the place was packed our waitress was completely attentive and we never had to wait on refills. Our food was great. A complete 180 from what it was in our last visit. And finally, I just want to say that I can truly appreciate Donnie reaching out. To me that shows how much they do strive to provide great customer service. In fact, we are going to make plans to go back with some friends another weekend because this place just has a cool, hang out vibe. By the way, I got the seafood kabobs (and seriously whatever they put in the rice is awesome) and my husband got crab legs and it was perfect. My first review: 2 starts I really wanted to give this a better review. The service was extremely lacking and my steampot was completely over cooked. My husband's plate was much better so I can't say everything was bad. The decor is really cute and it looks like it was a local hangout but if I want seafood I'll probably head somewhere else first.

We went here specifically for oysters and they were fantastic! Service was better than the oyster house downtown we visited a few weeks ago. Great atmosphere and definitely recommend!

Sitting on their cute little deck ALMOST feels like you're at the beach, and the sound of the fan behind me sounded a little like the ocean. The only thing that was missing was the smell of sea air! The food is fresh and delicious and the service is friendly. We tried the steamed oysters, fried coconut shrimp, and the hushpuppies - oh, the hushpuppies - so yummy. It's a bit off the beaten path between Pelham and Pleasantburg but worth finding for the fresh seafood and beachy ambiance.

The steam pot was good except for the oysters. The oysters were not good. They had an odd taste of oil or diesel fuel. The service was good for a while but we were rushed a bit. Nice atmosphere so I will try it again.
