Please note that now I only give 100% vegetarian places 5 stars. I'd give this place 5 stars if it was veg. I was happy I found Bellacino's walking around beautiful downtown Greenville. I loved the tree-lined streets, and this place fit right in. The inside is fantastic. I loved all the detailed decor and woodwork! The guy who took my order was super-nice and accommodating. Couldn't ask for better service. You order your food at the counter, then they bring it to you. I had a small pizza, plain cheese. It was fantastic. I like my pizza well, well, well cooked and they did that perfectly (you'll see in my picture it's very brown - but that's because that's how I ordered it). It had a nice flavor and the crust was great. I can't speak for anything else here, because that's all I had. Oh, and this was the cheapest meal I have ever had. The personal pizza (plenty for one, and even 2 if you're not too hungry) and a bladder-busting Coke - all for just $6.50. I couldn't believe it! Very cheap! Loved the place! When my travels bring me to Greenville again, I will go back.

Good tasting pizza parlor food. Calzones were soft, delicious, and baked perfect. Chicken sandwich was toasted perfectly. Son's pizza looked a bit sorry but he ate it all! Very reasonably prices, cooked to order meals, and place was very busy during workday lunch hour.

THIS IS MY GRINDHOUSE REVIEW OF BELLACINO. ( 1970'S EXPLOITATION THEME MUSIC HITS) (In a deep voice) THEY RODE INTO A RESTURANT LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO EAT.... THEY CAME OUT WITH GRINDERS!!!! (No it's not strippers) LOL. It's mini pizza sandwichs. As the story goes, the sandwiches got their name from Italian immigrants who worked in the shipyards, grinding off rivets on metal warships. Ouch. The men were called grinders, and ultimately, so too were the sandwiches they brought to work--- hint the name. ITALIAN GRINDER - HOUSE SPECIALTY-Ham, sausage, salami, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes & mayo. (In a deep voice again) BUT THEY WERE STILL HUNGRY... HUNGRY FOR MORE ACTION!!!!! PIZZA CAME TO THEIR MIND: Toppings: Steak, Chicken, Sausage, Banana Pepper Rings, Ham, Pepperoni, Meatballs, Salami, Bacon, Onions, Ground Beef, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Pineapple, Green Olives, Jalapenos, Green Peppers, Extra Cheese, Fresh Tomatoes. Steak & Chicken are charged as double items Approx. Sizes: 8 in., 12 in., and 16 in. (In a deep voice) EVEN THE KIDDOS CAN TAKE A BITE!!!! WITH a PIZZA, GRILLED CHEESE, PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY, KID GRINDER,SPAGHETTI, OR RAVIOLI ( comes with juice box) (In a deep voice) AND THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY, YET THEY HAVE ROOM TO KICK BUTT!!!! It's sucks, because they have good pastas like Lasagna, Ravioli, and Spaghetti.( These items tend to be run out, or don't have them today type of items) If you really want to waste your money, then get the salad. there nothing good about them... but here they are---CHEF SALAD, GRILLED CHICKEN SALAD, GREEK SALAD, TACO SALAD, AND SIDE SALAD. (Ranch, Thousand Island, Bleu Cheese, French, Honey Mustard, Italian, Greek) The location is hard to find here. In my opinion, just get grinders, the pizzas are not that special, and the salads are so-so. BELLANCINOS-- YOU STILL GRINDS MY GEARS!!!!!!

I can't speak to their pizza, but their salads are large and filled with fresh ingredients. Along with our salads, my business associate and I were treated to delicious and soft breadsticks and dipping sauce on the house, which was a very nice gesture.

Staff was nice. The owner (I assume he was the franchise owner) was a complete jerk. The food is not as good as the Easley SC location. I will not return to this location. It amazes me the people who open a people oriented business and have ZERO customer service skills.

Pizza was good. Took a very long time to get the order. The Parmesan cheese at the table had mold in it. Took it to front desk. No apology. Just told me to find another one. No longer serving beer or wine. Not sure if they lost liquor license.

Great downtown location. I was promptly greeted by a friendly staffer and placed my order for a steak salad. The seating area is great with tables and booths of varying sizes and a bar along the wall with great views of Main St. The salad wasn't my favorite. The lettuce was all iceberg, the dressing was a pouch of Kens, and the mushrooms and white onions were raw. I will definitely go back and try a pizza or grinder. I think it's probably a enter spot than the salad indicated.

We were at the Falls and decided to stroll through downtown. This was one of the first eateries we encountered. We smelled the food before we saw the place, the scent was so inviting we strolled right on in. There is booth and bistro seating. Bistro seating near the windows allows for optimal people watching on Main St. Booth seating is comfy and feels very much like home. It had been a while since I'd indulged in pizza and let me tell you, Bellacino's satisfied the craving and hit the hunger spot. The slices are flavorful, filling and generous. They offer other menu items but we were pretty full. They also had a little ice cream nook which was very popular the day we went. This place was a nice find on our little journey and we will definitely return.

The food is decent however, as an Italian, I really disapprove those who falsely claim to serve italian food. Bellacino fits this case

Perfect for a quick bite. I have stopped in several times when I was downtown for a few hours and needed to watch the clock. Their service is not super fast but not super slow either. The servers are young college kids who are friendly and have a sense of humor. They will bring your food out to you. I have to agree with a previous reviewer that the salads are mediocre, but I just go for the small personal pizza now and throw on some red pepper flakes. The pizza has that slightly charred flavor that gives it a more authentic taste. Parking is always easier to find on this end of Main Street for some reason during the day, too, so that's a bonus. The seating is comfortable and no frills. The chairs are heavy wooden chairs and it almost has a cozy pub-like vibe with dim lighting. You can eat by the windows for people watching or close to the kitchen for privacy if you just want to keep to yourself.

I just had the best sandwich of my entire LIFE. While there are a variety of things to choose from on the menu, Bellacino's specializes in Grinders, which are oven baked sub sandwiches of the highest order (the interesting name has something to do with WWII Italian immigrant workers). So I just consumed every last bite of the nine inch Club, and I think it was actually larger than I am. This work of art consisted of thinly sliced, oh-so-tasty ham and turkey, perfectly cooked crispy bacon, gobs of melted mozzarella, lettuce and tomato - all toasted to perfection on a homemade Italian roll. Talk about unbelievable! I'll never look at Jersey Mike's the same way again. Please excuse me while I go lie down. Food Coma...

Came here looking for one of those Grinders I have heard so much about from other people, but on the one night I finally get there, they are out of the bread to make the sandwiches. So that is the only reason I have given it a 3 star. Though I did get a really good calzone. Though with the calzone I saw nothing that made it different than any other calzone that I have had. It was good, but its not what I was expecting to get. Will definitely come back to get a grinder and see what all the rage is about.

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
