Definitely swing by their Holy Chow food truck if you see it in the area - they also post their whereabouts on Facebook regularly. Not only is the food great (try the Cuban), but the people running the truck are always super friendly.

Love Vinny's! Their pizza is close to NY (I'm from Long Island) and their garlic knots are amazing!!! They are reasonably priced for real pizza. The service is excellent. We usually call ahead and order to go and my order is ready and correct. Give them a try!
Great pizza and fast delivery. I have eaten here a few times. The pizza is super yummy. Ordered delivery and it came in about 30 minutes which was awesome.
Amazing buffalo chicken pizza!!!! Wings were ok, could of been crispier with more sauce. Will definitely order buffalo chicken pizza again.

Chick-fil-A

Reviews:
Would have to be an amazing experience for me to post a good review for a fast food joint. Went in this location this past Saturday morning. Probably the best most pleasant experience I've ever had. Amber (think that was her name) was super happy, chatty, and genuine. My take out order was right and, as chickfila should be, was tasty. Walked out of there happier than when I walked in. Bravo!
There is always a long line at the drive-thru at this location yet I always manage to get through it in under 5 minutes every time. I have never had a bad experience at this location. In fact, every experience has been well above average and the customer service is supreme. I rarely give fast food four stars so that says alot for this location.
Disappointed with the workers here. Was spoiled by the chick fil a we frequented 2-3 times a week for breakfast back in California I guess. These workers did not say "my pleasure" or do the best to explain themselves when I got the run around. I had one employee saying ok, then another saying no we don't do that we do however do this, then the manager finally coming out front and saying no both of the workers were wrong and what I wanted can not be done because they are following corporate. I am pretty sure that corporate would not throw a FIT considering plenty of other CFA's have managed to do what I asked about and nothing has happened (other than those restaurants getting my repeated business and me and my family eating a meal happily). I guess it just goes to show that YES they ARE ran individually and differently all over the country and some will go above and beyond to make a customer and her small child happy, while others just care about the bottom line. And no I was not asking for free food, nor a discount. all I wanted was a meal rang up in a way I know they can ring it up. Oh also when someone is calling to place a tray order of TWO LARGE mini trays, placing them on hold and then hanging up on them probably not the best thing to do. If you are in the area and have the time drive up to Summerville. They at least give the customer the respect and polite response Chick Fil A is known for along with making sure the customer is HAPPY. (side note: Since BOTH LOCATIONS are franchised out to the same person he might want to talk to his workers in Goose Creek about taking some lessons in customer care from his Summerville location).

Larry’s Giant Subs

Reviews:
Larry's has amazing sandwiches, friendly service, and a quick turn-around time (which is great when I am in a hurry). I have ordered about a dozen different items from their menu, and everything I've eaten has been really good. The meatball sub is my favorite thing. The meatballs are huge, and the sauce and cheese Are fresh. As well their Reuben sandwich is PROPER! Their cold subs are as good as anything I used to get back home in Boston too. I used to be a loyal Jersey Mike's customer, and I still like them on occasion, but as far as quality, variety, and flavor are concerned-Larry's leaves all other sub shops in the dust! As far as lunch options here in Goose Creek go, Larry's is always top of my list.
Really yummy subs!! The place is clean, staff friendly , service fast, and subs taste fresh!
I absolutely love their subs and its the only reason I pushed the review to a 4 star. The customer service is moderate they're not rude but not very focused on being friendly. Its not a big deal but personally it adds to the whole experience. Its a little pricey for subs but they're so darn good I can't help but to keep coming back. They also make a NY style Cheesecake you can buy in full cake or slice TRY IT! Its freaking good! You can dine in, take-out, or call ahead but they're pretty fast anyways so you don't have to wait long except lunch or dinner rush, of course.

Sushi 101

Reviews:
I ate lunch here today. I also ate here when it was Little Tokyo. The food was good then. Well the food now is even better. Much fresher sushi. Everything was delicious.
Warm sushi?! some were good but all that great... I love sushi but I felt sick after eating warm sushi.
I just moved to the area, and have been looking for a decent sushi place. I saw the reviews for Sushi 101, and decided to give it a try. We ordered the Gyoza and avocado rolls for our kids, and my husband and I split the vegetable tempura and 4 different sushi rolls. First the good... The service was great. The waiters were very polite, our food was brought promptly, and our drinks were always full. Looking over the menu the prices seemed very reasonable, and they had a great selection. Our first dish, the vegetable tempura was pretty good. The sauce was flavorful, and the veggies were fairly well-cooked, though the zucchini was a little on the mushy side. If our meal had stopped there, I probably would have given this place 4 stars. Then there was the bad... The sushi was honestly the worst I have ever tasted. The salmon roll came out first, and the fish tasted, well, fishy, and was very tough. It was difficult to choke down my bite. The other three rolls we had were the Super Crunch Roll, the Rainbow Roll, and the Green Dragon Roll. The shrimp in the Super Crunch Roll was rubbery and flavorless, and it was supposed to have spicy mayo but didn't. The Rainbow Roll had the salmon on it, which ruined it for me, and the Green Dragon Roll had a super sticky, sweet, teriyaki-like sauce covering it over the top (the menu did not say that there was a sauce on it). Both the Rainbow Roll and the Green Dragon Roll were supposed to have crab in them, but it was definitely imitation. Now don't get me wrong, I have had my share of fake crab California Rolls, but typically when it is fake it is more of a crab salad, mixed with mayo. These rolls just had huge chunks of imitation crab meat. Not very appetizing to me. I wanted to like this place, but after tasting the sushi, I will definitely not be going back.

Excellent ribs cold beer great service Messrs. friendly casual delicious nutrients are available just come and guzzle freely
Went to TJ'S yesterday night time(730-8pm) This is my second time there. They told me that their computer system was down. I did noticed that the waiters were running loose, they seemed to be annoyed by it(might just be me). I got the pick two n two. Ribs n brisket, mac n cheese n green beans. Smoked wings for an app. Smoked wings was awesome as I remember like the first time. The ribs I had was kinda dry(might have to try earlier in the day) but was still ok. The brisket is was amazingly tender! Mac n cheese, ehh didn't look like the pictures and was bland(wasn't cheesy). The Green beans had flavor but it was dry. The service yesterday was average. I saw the owner came in right before I was leaving, probably called into get the system back up. The first time I went there was maybe a month ago. It was around 1pm maybe 2. I got the pulled pork sandwich(crispy outside tender on the inside)and seasoned fries. Yum!! Also had the smoked wings=awesome! Service was excellent that day. The owner came around to check out how we were doing, I thought that was pretty cool. Soo.... between the two times I've been there I'll give it 3.5 stars. All in all I'll stick to going earlier in the day.
Buffalo chicken dip was incredibly good and came with very fresh, warm pita chips. The server was very friendly and the owner obviously greatly cares about this restaurant and providing great food at all times. Every restaurant has room for improvement and I've posted many reviews on yelp but this owner personally emailed me for feedback on the food quality to see if there was anything they could do better. Definitely a first! Highly respected and recommended local place to eat!

Papa Murphy’s

Reviews:
My husband and I are thrilled to have found Papa Murphy's. They have am excellent selection of specialty pizzas or you can build your own to fit your tastes. We absolutely love the crust and all the sauce choices. The staff is friendly and the food excellent. The dessert pizza and cheesy bread too.
I'm iffy on the whole baking your own pizza concept but maybe it will grow on me. The price is much cheaper than other pizza joints (because you bake your own pizza), had I known that I probably would have ordered a large pizza instead of a medium. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and it was pretty tasty, my only regret is forgetting to order precooked bacon instead of Canadian bacon (but that was my bad not theirs). Overall the pizza was tasty, I enjoyed the sauce and the fact that they used chopped pineapples. I even picked up some of their cookie dough that they had right by the register, cooked them according to their directions, and they were very delicious! I definitely recommend that you try this place but make sure you are not starving as you have to wait for them to prepare the pizza and then go home and prepare your stove/wait while the pizza cooks. I will most likely try them again and expect the stars to go up.
This chain is new to the Charleston area as a whole and the Goose Creek location was the first to arrive, and all I can say is welcome and thank you! First and foremost this is a Take and Bake pizza chain and not a delivery pizza place. You go in and order your pizza and they make it right in front of you and wrap it up in plastic wrap for the trip home. They provide instructions on how to cook it at home and will even explain them if you are visiting for the first time. They have a good variety of pizzas and ingredients. Regular, De-Lite Thin Crust, and stuffed pizza with another crust on top of the ingredients. All the usual suspects in the ingredients department along with some less common ones like chicken, artichokes, white sauce, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, and feta cheese. The dough is fantastic and made with high-protien flour, a key items where most chains skip to save money. They also offer take and bake cookie dough and cheese bread that are equally fantastic. This makes dinner for a family especially easy since you can make a single stop on the way home from work and take home a complete meal to feed 4-6 people. Appetizer, entree, and dessert in the oven and on the table in less than 25 minutes. We have had four different pizzas from them and have found each one to be of the utmost quality and value. Prices are a little higher than other chains but you are rewarded with far superior taste and quality. For a CHAIN pizza place, this is as good as gets! They are new to the area so there are coupons available everywhere and right now they are doing any pizza any size for $10, at that price there is absolutely no reason to order from anywhere else. All major credit/debit cards are accepted as well as SCEBT cards since the food is not prepared ahead of time.

.35 cent wings on Thursday's along with free bingo!! Definitely a fun place to be. Jacky is an awesome waitress and bar tender. I also really enjoy the juke box because you can control it with your phone so you don't have to get up to put quarters in it. The pool tables are a nice addition too! A dollar a game and decent pool sticks. They have like 10 tvs so on game nights it's a fun place to hang out. I would highly recommend this place! Especially on Thursday night!
You can smoke inside. Military Mondays although not as busy as you'd think but nice if it were. They have steamed burgers which you cannot get anywhere else. Pretty amazing and very inexpensive. If I lived in the area I would def frequent this dive bar. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.
Steamburger was great! Soft bun and cooked just right. Heather at the bar was so friendly and had suggestions about the menu. We were just in town for a reunion. Checked Yelp and the reviews looked good. Glad we ate here! Smoking here though...if you are not used to places where people can just smoke wherever.

I went here for lunch and let me tell you...I am sooooo glad my co worker talked me into going here. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly staff. We sat down and received our drink. Our food was ready in no time! By the time we took 3 sips of our drink, our food was on the table, hot and fresh!. I had the hibachi steak and chicken. My meats were paired with lightly fried rice, sweet carrots and hibachi mushrooms. Dont forget the white sauce... lol All these things combined gives Sannos 5 stars. I was truly impressed and satisfied. i'm also full...lol
This place need to renovate old ,dark and smell. Habachi was ok but they charged for the condiment(white sauce) no salad or soup come with it. If I have to spend $40 on foods, extra condiment should be free. I rather go to Sushi101 instead. Sushi was bland no taste at all. I don't know if I want to go back again.
Food was good. Communication was a problem. We asked for some sushi and ordered way too much. Prices are very reasonable. Be sure you point to the menu item and verify what you want. Lesson learned. Very nice and polite staff.

Ye Ole Fashioned Ice Cream & Sandwich Cafe

We were looking for a quick and easy lunch and figured this place would have enough options to satisfy us both. My boyfriend ordered the tuna melt, I had a grilled cheese, and we split a large order of fries. I didn't realize that all (or almost all???) of their sandwiches are triple decker, so we got some extra carbs that day. The grilled cheese was pretty much a cafeteria grilled cheese (you know, the kind with the icky pre cut slices of cheese?). My boyfriend's tuna melt was pretty good but we could make a tastier one at home. The fries were large and crinkle cut, but they were nice and crispy and a large order was HUGE. This was a bit hard for me to rate. For what it is, which is fast food, I'd give it three stars. It's better than going to McDonalds but it's not a gourmet deli. But when you compare it to the other great lunch places in Charleston, plus the fact that our order was around $17, it really is pretty meh, so I'm going with two stars. We may go back just to try the ice cream since they had around 40 flavors.
Hamburgers are my favorite I always receive good customer service and a clean environment to enjoy my food. The prices are also reasonable for the amount of food you get. Great experience!
Have you been craving an egg sandwich like mama used to make? It's like she's in the kitchen! Personally I like mine with bacon, but ham is an excellent choice as well. Yeah, yeah, it may take a few more minutes than you might like for your food to get ready but the simple solution to that is to call ahead. The staff is always nice and always accommodating. The fries are really good too, and one order is plenty for two people. Don't skip on the ice cream! An up side to waiting...the kids get more time to play :) A huge plus for me is their hours. They are open til 10:00 during the week and 11:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
