I ate lunch today at Price's BBQ. The restaurant has a Gilbert address, but, it's near Lake Murray and just outside Lexington, South Carolina off U.S. Highway 378. The barbeque pork and hash were excellent! Lunch today was only $8. I also enjoyed fried okra, beans, salad and macaroni and cheese. They are open Thursday - Saturday for lunch and dinner and a big lunch on Sunday. I decided to eat here today after seeing the restaurant listed among the best barbeque restaurants in South Carolina. They are right - it's great barbeque.

Great place to have southern BBQ. Authentic South Carolina BBQ and I always stop here when ever I'm in town. The food is great and I like the new renovations. Pulled pork is amazing as they use wood fire and you can taste the smoked pork. The place is cute but there's also takeout so you can take it to the lake nearby. A great place overall.

My wife and I ate dinner and had a nice experience. Buffet was kept well stocked and the food was good. We had the pulled pork, fried fish, rice and hash, vegetables, and banana pudding. The two young people working the dining room were friendly and very contientious. Great value and worth the drive if you don't live close.

My husband and I ate there because the other reviews were so good but it was the worst 'barbeque' place we've even been to. I don't even understand why they have barbeque in the title because on the menu you only have two choices of barbeque: a barbeque sandwich and a barbeque sandwich with fries and slaw. My husband ordered a large sandwich and it was tiny so a small must be a little slider. They have no normal barbeque sauce, just a brown sweet one and a yellow mustard pne. He said there was no smoky flavor at all and it tasted old. I got the catfish basket and it was ok but I don't think some of the thicker pieces were done because they were a little pink on the inside. The employees seemed very nice but I don't understand how this place could be rated so high. I don't normally ever write a review on restaurants but I felt I had to balance out the other reviews.

It is well worth a try. The food here is excellent with a good selection of different items besides just bar-be-que. You will not leave here disappointed. They recently started serving breakfast on Saturday mornings. The breakfast is equally as good as their bar-be-que menu.
