Boy o boy... So it's Saturday and I'm hungry! My friends love this place and even though my first experience was lack luster I decided to give it another shot because dining options for us in Gaston are limited to say the least. So I go in and am greeted by the most polite woman (a staff member other than the owners) who helped me navigate the menu and make my selections, off to a great start. While waiting she brought me an ice water and was apologetic that i would have to wait for the owners to return since the Mr. made the pizzas. Be that as it may I grabbed the free times and sat back not worried about a short wait. I ordered 6 wings crispy a cold Italian sub and a small pizza that was on special today. Well the employee got busy and still managed to handle the other customers and have my wings and sandwich ready in a timely fashion. As for the owners... SMH! They barrel in with their children who are arguing and being very rude then instead of apologizing for the delay they just ignored me and the other young man in the dining area. As of this point I had been in there for over an hour no joke. The mother was dealing with her children and the father was trying to push out pizzas. First, why can't you train your staff properly? She seems capable, let her make pizzas! Secondly, why isn't your establishment staffed properly, especially on the weekend?! And lastly, why not even bother to apologize when obviously you were busy picking up your children instead of tending to paying customers? Needless to say I am very disappointed in the owners. I've been in the restaurant business for nearly 20 years now, this is unacceptable in this sort of business. The pizza was hot obviously as it was prepared just prior to my departure and it was good, that along with the staff member is the saving grace! The wings tasted funny, as though they had been stored for a while before being prepared for me and by the time I got home the sandwich wasn't as appealing as I would have hoped since it had already sat for nearly an hour. During my long wait a gentleman warned me it's good but if you want anything when you get here order before you drive home from downtown or further away so they have time to prepare it. That shouldn't be the case and we won't see them in business much longer if they don't take some pride in customer service. Please also note that the children fighting in the hall and slamming the office door is incredibly disruptive and if you would like to enjoy your meal while dining in coming during school hours or bringing along ear plugs is suggested.

This place is the best there every was and ever will be! Peggy & Guido (the owners) are always there. Guido's had a hand in every single order to make sure it is correct. Mrs. Peggy always remembers her customers. I am greeted by first name with a smile and a hug every time I go in. Awesome customer service and unbelievable food! You can't beat it! :)

Used Yelp to find this place on our drive back home and we were pleasantly surprised. Wonderful little family owned restaurant with an impressive menu. We had the pizza and it was perfect. Highly recommend.
