This is a small, fast food Chinese restaurant. Servings are large. Good food at a very reasonable price - especially the lunch specials.

Remember when this was a gas station? Well, I don't, but I do remember that THIS RESTAURANT HAS THE BEST ICED TEA!!!!!!!! For a mere $1 something, your taste buds are in heaven from this cold iced tea. Where else can you find a Chinese restaurant for these amazing prices and value?! The tea was sweet, but not too sweet, it was perfect. I also ordered fried rice, chicken wings and sweet & sour chicken, it was SOOOOOO GOOD. The food came out hot and yummy, can't compare it to any other places I've eaten at. If you're looking for Chinese food, this is the place to eat at.

Sunny’s Donuts

720 S Granard St

Reviews:
We heard about Sunny's from a friend. He showed me a picture of a Tiger Claw (a bear claw for the upstate of SC) that was bigger than his fist. My wife and I went this morning and we were not disappointed. We got a basic yeast leavened glazed donut, a buttermilk bar, and the tiger claw. The glazed donut was so tender - just delicious. The buttermilk bar had this perfect center and it was so perfect with the coffee. The tiger claw was sweet, cinnamon-y, and huge! We loved everything so much we got a half dozen to go to share with our friends. All those donuts and coffee cost just about $12. Crazy! We will have to go back because we want to try everything. And we loved the service!
I work in Gaffney and one of our store managers brought in a couple dozen of Sunny's donuts. I'd never heard of them but since that one Cinnamon crumb donuts I've been hooked. My wife and I love all of the cake donuts especially the cinnamon sugar ones. Give the Maple bacon one a try. I was surprised that I liked it. Y'all are awesome Sunny and his family are very friendly. Support small business!
I'm a sucker for donuts and after seeing that some of the best new donuts in Charlotte are only available as a Saturday morning pop up, I did a quick search for something closer to where we were staying in Blacksburg. Sunny's was not only close, but the reviews sounded good and the photos looked even better. I prefer traditional donuts over those newfangled fancy kinds and boy did the images of chocolate old fashions and glazed buttermilk bars peak my interest. After Justin and I decided to make the drive, timing it so we would arrive in their last hour of operation to pick up treats for dessert, I started making a my-eyes-are-bigger-than-my-stomach list of what I would select. Sunny's Facebook page has even more photos and info on it and often includes the special donut of the day. I think I was salivating as we drove. When we arrived we were both a little surprised to see that Sunny's Donuts is inside Sunny's Quik Stop gas station. However, we've driven to Maryland for gas station tacos and have been know to frequent a particular gas station for sandwiches in the District, so for us donut lovers this was hardly a deterrent. What was, however, was seeing a gentleman (Sunny himself!) outside locking up the door. I don't know if the car had stopped moving before I jumped out and sprinted to the door. Luckily, we could still enter though the minimart door and once at the counter, Sunny's wife Lang showed us the two boxes of donuts that remained. Note: despite the name, Sunny and Lang's son Andrew is actually in charge of the donut portion of this operation. The Gaffney Ledger wrote up a nice story about the family and the business a couple of years ago. Much to my dismay, there weren't too many options left. No blueberry cake donuts, no buttermilk bars and no daily special. We scored two maple crumb, a raised chocolate bar, a raised glazed, and after chatting up Lang and deliberating about what to get to round out our half dozen, we finally picked a couple more and ordered a few donut holes. Lang was so sweet and threw in a couple extra donut holes for good measure and rewarded our donut enthusiasm with a couple of extra donuts, saying the plain cake would go well with coffee in the morning before our long trip back to DC. In total we paid just $6 - the price of two bougie donuts where we live! The donuts themselves were pretty good but the raised offerings would have faired much better earlier in the day. The maple crumb was by far my favorite of the group and is definitely worth a return visit the next time we're visiting family in the area. Lessons learned: - the hours are somewhat subjective, get there well before closing to ensure any donuts are available - donuts are only made in the morning so the earlier you can get there the fresher they'll be and the more choices you'll have - Sunny's is like a sunny little piece of California in South Carolina - homemade and home operated donuts - kill two birds with one stone and grab a donut while you pump your gas

Driving down 85 and looked this place up here on Yelp. The other reviews are spot on. This is a bare bones, simple BBQ joint where the focus is on the food and customer service, both are top notch.
I am a huge "off strip" bbq fan. Bbq is about care, sauce and sides. This place has amazing ribs and hushpuppies. Get the ribs golden for a carolina exclusive.
This place is awesome. The food is delicious, and the people are courteous, friendly, and welcoming. Prices are great too. There is no sign, just a building by I85 that says "BBQ" on it. Make sure you stop to eat here, it's really, really good!

Was skeptical of eating at a diner along the interstate, but turned out to be a positive experience. Fried pickles are amazing!! There are six fried quarter-spears served, and they have a mild spicy kick. Ask for ranch dressing for dipping. Ordered a BLT on a wrap and added a strip of chicken to ensure adequate protein. Holy cats - the additional chicken was unnecessary, as the BLT included a very generous portion of bacon. SO delicious!! Wish I had saved room for dessert: they are made from scratch and look delicious in their refrigerated glass case. Wheelchair access is in diner & bathroom is good. Would definitely dine at Clock's again - nice gamble!
This a great meat and three place that we visit on the way to or from the Charlotte airport. There is always a great selection and the food is always very good. Quick and friendly service, too.
The clock was right on time. I had hamburger steak, cabbage, black eyed peas with 2 dinner rolls. Then I got a homemade cheesecake to go back to my hotel. The food was great!!! The service was fast and good. If you are in Gaffney go to the clock off exit 90 interstate 85.

Zaxby’s

Reviews:
Impressively clean and rather upscale-looking location of this Athens, GA-based fast food chain in the middle of nowhere. Hubby heard about their excellent fried chicken and had to make a pit stop. He got the smallest adult meal possible, which he thought was still very ample. His meal included two or three juicy and perfectly battered chicken tenders and crinkle fries dressed with something akin to barbecue seasoning. All meals come with Zazby's special chicken sauce. My fried-chicken loving man said that the rave reviews of Zaxby's fried chicken were well-deserved. The chicken was simply marinated and battered with probably a buttermilk, salt, and pepper, and garlic powder mixture, but the end results were nothing short of amazing. Pat-your-belly-good. I ordered the fried spicy mushrooms, which also came with the "chickens sauce," which is actually vegetarian-friendly, too. Though the 'shrooms weren't spicy by my standards, they were not overly breaded and pretty addictive. Not much to see in Gaffney, except perhaps its historic district, but we'll stop by again just for Zaxby's. By the way, Bojangles, Sonic, and Waffle House are all within close range, so a wealth of choices if you wanted to satisfy all your Southern fast food cravings.
