Iama Critic Rating - Mutt's BBQ Easley - 5 Stars 1020 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC Overall: Nice array of buffet items and some of the best fried chicken we have ever enjoyed. In Easley for the day and was looking for a local place for dinner. Never had buffet BBQ before so I was skeptical. But Mutts is great and reasonably priced. Unlike most BBQ joints I know. I tried a bit of every thing. Pulled pork and chicken, ribs, pop corn shrimp and boiled shrimp. All was very good. I tried the sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. I'll say the Mac and cheese was the stand out. Had to go back for seconds of ribs and Mac n cheese. Their BBQ sauce is pretty tasty too. Being from Texas I've had better BBQ but not at this price. This would be a regular stop if I lived in the area. Really enjoyed it!

Mutts is a very good bbq restaurant. I love going on Fridays when they have lightly breaded shrimp on the buffet.

visited mutts with family we left full and not a bad price of about 10.00 per person and since our son is 4 he got to eat free (bonus) as far as the food it was average nothing to drive out of your way to eat. But if you are in the area worth the stop if your hungry.

I always like to try a BBQ place in SC when I have a chance. Visited on a Tuesday for lunch. Ordered the buffet so I could try a variety of what they offered. Best I can say is average. Pork was a little dry, green beans were tasteless, hush puppies were hard and overlooked. The hash - well, I wouldn't call it hash...and the rice didn't seem cooked enough. The fried chicken was tasty, hot and well seasoned. Won't be back.

Maybe the best BBQ buffet going. Typical buffet includes, BBQ pulled pork and chicken. Fried chicken. Mac and cheese (of course!), hush puppies, corn, slaw, ribs, pasta salad, banana pudding...you name it. The best part of the buffet? Everything is really good. Come for a late afternoon dinner/lunch thing and you'll be good for the day. Sometimes the waitstaff consists of local boy scouts or church groups which is awesome. Plenty of seating...friendly staff...great food. Buffet is like $10/person.

Really good pulled pork sandwich. The buffet looked really good, especially for the price. As a Texan, I'm pretty critical of other state's bbq, but this definitely represented South Carolina well. My parents live nearby and I'll definitely be headed back here next time I visit. There was a lunch rush about noonish, but if you get there by 11:45 you should be ok.

You cannot beat their buffet, especially on Sunday! I've never been disappointed.

Don't let the empty parking lot fool you. This place is fantastic! Good prices, great food. Beware of the buffet though, you won't be able to resist at least a second helping!

Everything about Mutts BBQ is perfectly Southern, right down to the finger licking good mustard based sauce (there's other options too). The sweet tater crunch will literally make you smack your mama (sorry, mama!). Sure, there's other BBQ joints in town, but you can go ahead and drive past them on your way to Mutt's -- you won't regret it!

I like the food, but not the staff. Manager was rude. I asked him a simple question about the food, and he snapped at me. I liked the food though. And the price was okay.

The buffet is one of the better buffets I've seen. Everything was solid, the price is good. The pulled pork is excellent. Compared to the rest of the area, this place is killing it.
