Well I have good news and bad news. The bad news is Michael's pizzeria is not going to reopen. However they have reopened in a new location under a new name, 2bros pizza. They are located at 5823 Calhoun Memorial Highway suite 2C in Easley, SC 29642 Their new phone number is 864-850-2800. They have the same great food as they did before with one exception, they no longer make 18 inch pizzas. You have a choice of a 10 Inch or a 14 inch pizza, however to make up for not having larger pizza you can buy a second pizza of the same size for half price! My favorite thing on the whole menu is their Italian Roman Sub. It is great!!

Broke my heart when it caught on fire. So glad they are back up and running! Closest thing to real New York style pizza I have found in this area. The staff is upbeat and very friendly. They even have a back room for parties or small conference meetings. The party pizza is ginormous and perfect for, well parties. :) Plenty of cheese and not drowned in sauce. Meatballs in the subs are huge and juicy. Kids favorites are the strombolies. The wide variety of food will make sure you always have something new to try and you can best be sure it will most likely be good!

I really enjoyed the unique flavor of Michael's. The first time I tried it was the Easley 100th Birthday Celebration. They catered in Michael's and it was free of course! I liked the flavor and would order it in the future.

I have always enjoyed Michael's! These are very nice, caring people who support several community causes. Michael and his family do a very good job with the dough...the most important factor concerning pizza. Great beer selections and good wings. As said by others, this is a family-run, small town place so there are things to consider. They employ half the teen population so they make mistakes sometimes. They are never rude and always fix it. There is no bartender but you can eat and drink at the bar, funny I know but we don't even think about it anymore! If you have a question or problem, just speak up!

Best NY style Pizza in the Upstate, bar none. Having spent several years in the NY area, I have very particular tastes when it comes to pizza. After seeing dozens of places purporting to serve real New York style pizza in the upstate, I stumbled onto this place. Everything is just perfect food wise. It does get extremely busy especially when there is something happening in Easley, and during those times service can be downright terrible. But I'm there for the pizza. Can't speak to their other dishes, once again, there for the pizza. Excellent, thin, wide, cheesy, foldable slices with a nice thick and crusty outer dough just fluffy enough.

Food was good. Service was OK Sitting at the bar with no one coming up to you and then having to get in line to buy a beer from a counter that was 5' away was annoying when the little person behind the counter saw me sitting there looking around. Would eat there again now that I know some of the rules...

When I walked out, I was extremely displeased. They gave me a slice of pepperoni after I made it clear that I wanted a slice of mushroom to go. They put it in a box without even checking, I guess. Luckily, my mushroom slice was already boxed up; they just fudged the box. As I held it, it was sloppy and greasy, and the cheese was slipper; the perfect combination for a good slice of grab and go pie. At only $2.25, I thought this dough, sauce, and dairy concoction was spot on. The slice was definitely doughier and more floury than normal, but I liked it. It really held it up to the sauce and cheese proportions. The flavor was fairly deep, so I thought it was a solid, well-rounded slice. Michael's has my vote for a local grub joint when in the Easley area... not that many of you will be passing though. Family friendly, college kid friendly, and very affordable... which is a plus for both types of eaters.

Iama Critic Rating - Michael's Pizzeria - 4 Stars 101 NorthEast Main Street, Suite H, Easley, SC Overall: Michael's Pizzeria serves somewhat upper scale Italian as evident by their prices, which are on par with the likes of Mellow Mushroom. However Michael's blows "The Shroom" away and actually provides Italian fare that is worthy of their prices. The Service - 4 Star (18% tip) Our waiter was above average. He was interactive with my guest's children which is a huge plus! He was also sociable and took an interest in the fact that we were at Michael's to do a review. It always amazes me how so few restaurants actual take any interest in the reviews we do, even when they know beforehand that the review is taking place. Because of our waiters effort we provided him with an 18% - $16.00 tip. We typically provide 20% or more for 5 star service on the pre-tax portion of the bill, 18% for 4, 15% for 3, 12% for 2 and 0% for 1 star service. The Food: $18.50 14" Taco Pizza - 3 Stars This gorgeous pizza was served with taco meat, tomatoes, lettuce, black olives & mozzarella cheese. The flavor was wonderful, but the spices didn't really carry off the taco aroma very well. In addition to the meat I think some additional taco seasoning would have helped. Never the less it was a very good pizza. Just not as tacoey as I had hoped. $18.50 14" Philly Cheesesteak Pizza - 4 Stars Served with philly cheese steak with onion, green pepper, mushroom, mozzarella & american cheese with mayonnaise. Although not very pretty, this pizza was very tasty. More pizzas need to be made with mayonnaise! $12.50 Deluxe Calzone - 4 Stars Served with onion, green pepper, pepperoni, italian sausage, mushroom, black olives & extra mozzarella cheese, this calzone was a hit. And unlike the worthless calzone at Mellow Mushroom, Michael's calzones are FULL of ingredients! Highly recommended. $12.50 Meat Calzone - 4 Stars Served with pepperoni, ham, italian sausage, pork sausage, beef, bacon & extra mozzarella, this calzone was all mine, I shared with no one! Sure the kids cried and whined but I persevered and enjoyed this calzonian work of art! $9.75 Lasagna - 4 Stars Michael's says their lasagna is, "Over 1 lb. of our own homemade lasagna with meat sauce, mozzarella, romano, ricotta cheese & lasagna noodles." I have seen numerous restaurants advertise that their lasagna is over sixteen ounces, but they never tell you what that mean. Do they mean that each serving includes one pound of noodles before cooking, or if this is the total weight of the entire dish when finished. I have never seen a restaurant actually explain, and these one pound lasagnas vary radically in size, so how can they weigh the same. In Michael's Pizzeria's case I believe they mean that the entire entree weighs sixteen ounces total. But regardless of the size this lasagna was top notch. $8.00 Gyro & Fries - 3 Stars I ordered this $7.50 gyro with feta cheese which cost an additional $0.50. The unseasoned fries were boring, and this boredom extended to the gyro, which was devoid of the tomatoes it was supposed to have. The gyro meat was more plentiful than your average gyro, but the meat was also served ground into small bits. While interesting, the gyro, like almost all gyros in the Upstate of South Carolina, left much to be desired. Total Bill: $108.61 for four adults and two kids, including tax and three soda fountain drinks. Final Thoughts: Michael's Pizzeria is definitely a go to place for quality Italian for prices that are slightly higher than average. But within that price range you will be hard pressed to beat the quality Michael's provides.

Great homemade pies, calzones, sandwiches, and more. Plenty of room, the bar and restaurant are separated, so it's family friendly.

The pizza is great but the CHICKEN WINGS are awesome!

Awesome pizza and great location in Easley. Only reason that I wouldn't give this a 5 is that the waitresses typically make you feel like you are there to serve them. Other than that it is highly recommended.
