Best Thai around and it is family owned - fresh food and they use fresh locally grown veggies. Yum

Well, I tried the place again. Ordered pad thai and a thai tea. pad thai was unfortunately too spicey for me, despite my specifically asking them to make it mild. A few years ago, this place got sold or changed ownership or all their recipes were changed. I don't know. But since then, it just has not been the same. Their prices went up too much, their staff (especially one older lady who doesn't know how to smile) is curse and unapproachable, and their new recipes are bland. My husband used to get the lobster and scallops, but now he says it's too bland. I sooooo wish that they hadn't messed with things because this place is very close by and was one of our favorite restaurants for many years. Now, not so much. It's just too expensive. I paid $11 for pad thai!!! That's just unheard of.

Best sushi in Duncan, SC Great service and delicious foods. I can always order their sushi and it'll be the freshest. The price is less than Sake Grill and the sushi taste way better too. I've tried other dishes like the curry and the noodle dishes. I wish they served pho because it'll be sweet to have a Thai restaurant nearby with my favorite dishes. I love the Thai tea and the people are nice.

Was visiting the area for a quick one-day trip and stopped here to meet a local friend for lunch. The place is a typical Thai restaurant. Half the restaurant seating are booths and the other half are tables. It's split right in the middle of the room. I had the Pad Kee Mao noodles with shrimp and beef. The portion is a typical lunch size, which is about little more than half of a typical dinner portion. The shrimp size was on the smaller side. The noodle dish was flavorful. It also came with a soup for lunch which was little more than flavored broth. In all, it's a solid place for a quick lunch.

This is my favorite place to take my lunch break while at work. We don't usually go on Fridays anymore because it is so crowded, but the day of the week never changes the quality of the food or service. I have two go-to dishes: pad se ew and red curry (aka liquid gold). I have tried other items on the menu as well and have yet to be disappointed. The staff is our favorite because they are very personable. Since we used to all get fried tofu with our meals they call us "tofu family" and so we call the owners tofu mama and papa. They also serve dinner with an even bigger selection of authentic dishes. It is definitely worth an evening to get a Thai or Lao beer!

I don't understand what happened to my order, because this place has mostly great reviews. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken. It didn't look very appealing, and then it wasn't very good. The noodles were a bit gummy, and it was all covered in a pretty greasy reddish sauce. Maybe I've been spoiled, but every time I've had Pad Thai in the past (other places) it was fresh tasting, served with a slice of lime, and visually appealing as well as tasty. I might try one more time, but with a curry. I sure do not recommend Pad Thai.

they do NOT deliver. that was apparently a previous owner, I checked. ordered chicken pad thai and fried spring rolls... spring rolls were good but pad thai was pretty bland... be careful with ur spice level, I always order no spice, but my husband ordered medium and his mouth is on FIRE!

Great service! Meal was really good. Had sushi, crab Rangoon, sake, ginger salad, and meal #57. Couldn't have asked for a better place to dine. All food was prepared fresh and our server was extremely friendly. We will be back soon.

Excellent Thai food, fresh and well prepared very close to original. The best place around conserning to Thai food. Very friendly staff.

It's ok. I've had better thai food, but the one thing this place is better is giving you the spice! I had my seafood green curry "thai hot" and it was blazing! Loved it. But I like my curry a bit thicker to where its "saucier" versus runny. I also would have preferred a bit more seafood in it since It was mostly peppers. The most of our group cleaned our plates, there were just a few things that could be better.

Food was great, lunch prices are reasonable. Staff is very friendly. I've eaten lunch here almost every lunch when here for business

Best Thai red curry ever. I always get chicken curry with extra bamboo, 7 on the heat- I crave this stuff! On the flip side, sushi not so fantastic.

Horrible. Ordered the red curry with chicken. The curry was bland and the peppers too bitter. The chicken taste like it had just come out of a can of chicken noodle soup. Aweful food. Go to SweetBasil on Pelham it is ten times better and more food and everything is made in house fresh and delicious.

The Thai rice is tasty. The portions are good size. The BMW workers do love this place, had to have been 10-12 of them there lol. I ordered the Thai basil chix, it was more of a traditional stirfry than authentic Thai basil chix.. Decent but not great

The food is very "americanized", which isn't half bad... Cost is mid priced for a place to eat lunch and the service is good as well. Gets crowded during rush hour, so if you're going to try, go early and grab a seat.

This place honestly isn't the best thing. If you want Thai, you should seriously consider going somewhere else. The only reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars is because I had a good time and the restaurant was clean. The food isn't REAL Thai and its seriously mediocre. I wouldn't recommend this place if it's your first Thai experience.

The dynamite rolls were just that...dynamite!! I had the Pad Thai which was good but they gave me spicy instead of mild. That set my mouth on fire and I drank about a gallon of tea. That said, the staff were friendly and I liked it enough to want to go back.

Went here for a quick lunch with friends the other day. I wasn't expecting much but was happily surprised by the Pad Thai. I've had some pretty good Pad Thai in my day and this ranks up there, especially with their white sauce. The service was good and the prices are great. I will definitely be back soon.

There aren't that many good Thai restaurants in the area, and this one is very good.

This place has great noodles, such as Pad Thai, etc. An Asian American native of California, I am so happy to find authentic Thai food near my new place. The noodles are fresh, which is very important and hard to find. I tried the noodles at Sweet Basil Thai on Pelham, and they were old/yucky/been in the refrigerator for too long before cooking. I am not giving a review for the rice dishes because I have not tried them for the reason that I can make my own rice Thai dishes at home.

I've been here a few times. If you're in the mood for low-priced Thai, and you're in there area, it's a good choice. Of note: It seems to get a ton of traffic from international employees of BMW and it's suppliers. Don't know what that means, other than maybe Germans just like their Thai food?

I'm working in Spartanburg, SC on a project and am here every week. This Thai place is one of my all time top favorite Thai restaurants ever. The menu is authentic, cheap, and very tasty! I am likely to eat here once or twice a week for dinner because it is so good! The Chicken Larb is my favorite dish - a sort of limey, meat salad of sorts - spicy, sour, and all good! The rice soup, although lackluster in name, is delicious and very filling.

i was staying at a hotel down the street and walked over here to check it out. while not expecting much, i was pleasantly surprised with the overall flavors and especially spiciness level of my dish. also, the usual selection of asian beers was there and cheaply priced. Thai Cuisine is a rare find on this street of mostly horrid chain food.
