Zoe's Kitchen is a low-key, quick, easy-to-dine in, budget friendly spot in Forest Acres. They serve tasty and quality food and they offer friendly service. In our group of four, we each ordered something different, and everyone loved what they had. My grilled pimento-cheese sandwich was punchy. I found out that they use hot sauce in the the pimento cheese to give it an edge. It was exactly how I like it, cheese with a kick! I also was impressed that they serve their potato salads and pasta salads on the healthier side, without mayo. I had a potato salad as a side and it was really good. My friends had a chicken salad sandwich, grilled chicken pita sandwich, and a turkey sandwich respectively and they all commented positively on their food as well. I also splurged and got a chocolate chip cookie, which they make daily I believe, and it was another tasty thing on the menu. Considering I got a filling sandwich, a side, and a cookie, and everything was yummy, I'm still smiling over the minimal charge of $10 that I had to pay. Not bad, not bad at all :)

Like the other reviewer mentioned, Zoe's offers fresh and healthy food, which is nice considering there's an abundance of unhealthy restaurants around Columbia. The restaurant itself is nice.. clean, simple and bright. The food is good.. I had the chicken salad sandwich with a side of pasta salad, both very tasty. I look forward to coming back and trying more dishes. If you're in the mood for a simple, healthy and clean meal, definitely check this place out!

While I still like this place, it was an eye opening shock to see the nutritional info on their menu. Not as healthy as originally thought.

I've had Zoe's twice and enjoyed it very much. The only reason it's not 5 out of 5 is I think it's a little pricey. I understand it's a healthier alternative than most fast food places, but I think $15 for a fast entree is a bit much. I got the chicken skewers and they had good flavor. I liked the rice very much and had the Greek salad as well which was ok. It is VERY clean and well maintained.

My taste must be totally different than others. Average typical fast food. Sorry but true! Had the dry chicken kabob with overcooked rice. Came in a matter of seconds so definitely not fresh. Pizza was good but a bit overpriced for portion size. Been there won't be back.

Had my first mediocre experience at Zoe's Kitchen tonight. My eat-in shisk-ka-bob was quickly served but was at room temperature, and appeared, at best, to have come from a heat lamp, not a grill. I ate one, and sent the other back for recooking. It was better on return, but dry. Salad was pretty good, but not at their best. Dining room cleaning crews were so busy and active as to disrupt the few of us still dining 18 minutes before closing. Not the best way to end my dining experience tonight. While the food was still superior, the presentation is very lacking, as it is served on paper plates, and even the drink cups have been down graded from the very nice pressed hard styro cups they had in the beginning -- and I used to take home and reuse several times. The new ones are not stiff and are cheap paper, squeeze hard and your drink is all over the table. Plastic silverware to eat good tasting organic food is a bit of a mental stretch as well. And hardly very functional either. So, I lower my rating to 3 stars, and hope that management will pickup the pieces and move this place forward from the present overall experience. It is surely convenient.

One of my favorite places! The chicken salad is out of this world! Everything I have gotten is just delish...try the greek salad with chicken salad..so yummy! chicken plate or chicken kabobs are winners too!

Great place for lunch. The decor was vibrant. The menu was filled with fresh items and seemingly healthy Greek inspired food. Good service. I would come back for lunch.

  • Edwin L.

I ordered the greek salad with grilled chicken for take out. The food was ready when I arrived which is a good thing. The salad was plentiful and well put together. I look forward to trying more things from there.

A new chain to Columbia, and a must try. They are a "healthy" alternative to most fast food and take out restaurants. Great service and cool ambiance/decor. The food is really good, I enjoy the chicken salad sampler plate and the chicken kabobs. The passion fruit ice tea is amazing as well. I was ecstatic to see a sign downtown for a new location. They have a drive thru window for call ahead orders as well. Definitely check it out if you are in the area!

Outstanding hummus, outstanding Greek salad, outstanding service. the hummus was amazing.

A very good place to get a satisfying lunch! Hordes of rich white people flock here every day to get really fresh salads and sandwiches. I personally love the spinach quesadillas. The prices are a little high, but it's worth it to get a satisfying meal. The portion size is good and one main dish is good enough to satisfy. Their limeade is old-fashioned and made with limes, sugar and water so it's really refreshing on a hot day. I eat here when I'm over in Forest Acres and I recommend it to anyone that needs a quick and nutritious bite. One person can get a limeade and a main dish for about 9 or 10 bucks.

Wow this food is so good but no lamb ?

Ordered a Club Pita (at the recommendation of the cashier), Braised Beans, and Hummus Trio. Everything tasted great and was quite fresh. The Pesto Hummus was the best of the three. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the price was fair.

This place is my favorite place for both lunch and dinner. I haven't had anything off of the menu I didn't enjoy. I especially like the staff at the Forest Dr location, they are a really good team!

Zoe's Kitchen never disappoints. I was happy to find this location on my drive home from the beach. The food was very delicious (as always). I was very pleased with my interactions with the staff. They were very friendly and polite. This location is much smaller than the one that we have in Asheville, however, it was very clean and I felt very welcome!

Food is great, staff is super friendly! I get the chicken kabobs every time I eat here and they rarely disappoint. The rice pilaf is very flavorful and the chicken tastes great. The chocolate cake is totally weird but SO good! It has this super thin layer of frosting and I thought for sure it wouldn't be enough. But the cake was almost brownie-like in taste and moistness (dang, I hate that word). It's one of my favorite desserts now! Quick tip though, don't go close to closing - the food can be cold. And don't use the drive thru - go inside and you can pick your own slice of cake! ;)

Not exactly sure what I just paid $13 for. I had the Greek chicken pita that was filled mostly with lettuce. Just not very good. I've had better Greek food from a place in the food court at the mall. Maybe some of the other food is better, but I think it'd be a waste. I can make better food at home.

  • Derya S.

This was nothing I expected by the reviews. First I openend my "Kebab" and a fly came out. This went straight to the trash. Since I had it as take out I could not complaint on the spot. The pilaf taste like out of the bag. The Orzo chicken soup was quite fatty. The kebab I tried of my husband?- Dried meat, bread yuck and beyond bad. I know I am on the only few of disliking this place. But as a trained chef, working for almost 20 years in that field and on top from the neighbor country of Greek, I can say bad food when I see it. I would suggest a trip to Greek and if that is not possible a visit to the neighbor restaurant "Tzaziki". Great food, much, much better! Zoes Kitchen, you did not win a new customer.

The food is good but the prices are sky hi. I do enjoy eating there and people watching the richy rich of Forest Acres. Lol

I've only been here once. I ordered online, and went to their drive through pickup window. I ordered a Greek chicken pizza, and it comes with a side Greek salad. The pizza wasn't particularly to my liking, but I could see how others would enjoy it (I am a pizza snob). The side salad was absolutely incredible, and the Greek dressing was to die for. I will go back, but order something different.

First time eating Mediterranean. My sister brought me here to try the Steak Kabobs and it was really tasty. I also could not believe how tasty the grilled veggies were. All in all I would definitely give this place a second go around

  • Jeremy E.

Awesome food! Get the chicken kabobs everyone I go to lunch and when my wife asks me to pick up dinner I swing by and grab the dinner package for 30usd. Great deal and feeds the whole family with fresh good food. Oh and if you like hummus. Mmmmmmmmmm

  • Ruth J.

Simply put, healthiest fast food you'll find & it's goooooood! Mediterranean style selection & so far everything I've tasted as not disappointed. We love the family meals. We order our and pick up at the window. There is a drive through, but only for orders place in advance. The family kabob meal comes with 8 kabobs, rice & Greek salad. Claims to feed 4, but in reality can feed 5-6. All ingredients are fresh & every side item from the hummus to the chocolate cake and even the homemade lemonade is delicious!

Came here two consecutive days. Much better than any other fast food in the area. Delicious sides and delectable entrees. I bought a tub of chicken salad as well.

Good. Lots of floppy old white people eating their slaw. Got our order to go. Delicious pasta salad. Too much mustard on my greuben. Cashier had overly bootcut jeans on.

I eat here once a week. They have good healthy food at a fair price. It gets real busy so I came early yesterday. My wife found a long hair in her grilled chicken pocket. I returned it to the counter and they laughed and told me they would make me another. I notice all the men working in the kitchen were foreigners not wearing hair nets. My wife could not eat the remade pocket for she lost her appetite. When I was leaving, I noticed no rating or score on the front door. I believe the health department requires one so was wondering if this place scored low and took it down. I any case, they lost my wife and my business. Having healthy food with poor sanitary conditions defeats the purpose. We wlll find another place to eat that is cleaner. It seems this place does a great business so it does not have time to keep things clean.

A bit pricey and everything I've tried seems a bit bland (hummus and chicken salad). I do appreciate their phone app that offers rewards.

  • Gabbie R.

Terrible service. We placed a delivery order for 6:25 to be picked up then and it was after 7pm and not complete. Very disappointing service. Also to clarify, once we brought our food home the order was wrong and an item was missing.

Thîs place is surprisingly good. I thought it would be mediocre because it is a chain, but nope! The salmon skewers entree was filling and delicious. I will definitely be stopping back by for more.

Only had the chicken & spinach wraps and the steak and mushroom wraps, with potato salad and rice & beans as sides. Pretty tasty and healthy alternative to the normal type of restaurant takeout.

One word for Zoes Kitchen: fresh. Their ingredients are fresh, their atmosphere is fresh, and their facilities are fresh and clean. The food is consistently good. My favorite is the hummus plate (though it's a vegetarian dish, it certainly fills you up... you don't miss the meat at all), though I also like the chicken roll-ups. If you're looking for a healthy, safe bet for lunch in the Forest Drive area, come on over to Zoes and pick your new favorite dish.

  • Rick T.

The best thing I've had here is the braised white beans with rosemary. The steak roll ups were pretty good too. I would like to see Greek roasted potatoes here as a side w a side of lemon.

  • Ken H.

I've consistently come here for the last three years and they consistently out do themselves every time I come. The food is always fresh, the sides are amazing and the service is great! I love the spinach roll ups with white beans.. If you are into fitness this gives you a great complete protein profile with all the amino acids from the chicken combined with the beans!! Great tasting healthy eating!! Yum!

Great food and very healthy . I'm loving the chicken soup this time of year, it's amazing when your not feeling well. Definitely my go to place to eat healthy.

  • Chris T.

It wasn't bad food. For the amount of food you received it definitely should be $2 less. The steak kabobs were on the sweet side, reminded of teriyaki. The salmon kabobs were okay. I would recommend this to a friend for a quick bite.

Fresh and tasty and bonus points for the drive thru! I love to grab Zoe's! It's so easy and the food is always fresh and full of flavor. My most recent favorite is the Gruben. Your basic Ruben but so much more! The spicy slaw makes the sandwich sing. The pasta salad is fresh with just pasta, feta, tomato and basil. Clean and delicious. I also like the Chicken Kabobs. The flavor of the chicken is wonderful and it is skewered with onions, green peppers and tomatoes. It comes with warm and comforting rice and a Greek salad. Can't go wrong. If you are looking for somewhere fresh and flavorful then Zoe's is the place for you! The staff is friendly and helpful and I love that I can call in an order and swing through and pick it up. How many truly healthy drive thrus can you name?

The food was Awesome. The Cashier was nice. They bring the food out to your table and the wait time was very short. This particular location has great natural lighting which i love. They have a really healthy selection of food which I am a fan of.

Zoe's Kitchen is a good spot for those that want fast food that is healthy as well as tasty. It's a Mediterranean style restaurant that features plenty of pita bread, feta cheese, and vegetables. It is a little bit pricier than your average fast food joint but you get what you pay for and that's a healthy, great tasting meal.

So good! I ordered the chicken wrap and it was pretty great. Also, they Zoe's Kitchen probably has the best sides anywhere. I got the white beans and a buddy got the roasted veggies, which I highly recommend! Definitely want to go again and try something else on the menu!

Super yummy. Gluten free menu was great. Loved the kabobs and the white beans with rosemary were outstanding. Fresh fruit cup is actually fresh and very inexpensive.

I ate here while I was attending training at Ft. Jackson and the food was amazing every time I ate here. The Orzo Soup and Club Pita were super delicious! Pass on the potato salad, the other sides were much better.

Fresh Taste. Located on Forest Drive, Zoe's offers a good, fresh, light tasting meal with reasonable prices. I had never ate here before but knew of several co-workers that loved it, so I decided to stop by and order a meal to go. I got the turkey sandwich on toasted 7 grain bread, rice pilaf and the huge chocolate chip cookie. Total $10. Obviously the place was really popular b/c while waiting for my order I noticed several large orders being picked up in the ranges of $90-110. The sandwich - bread was cruncy and the ingredients were really fresh. The rice pilaf had a subtle seasoned flavored to it. LOVED, LOVED, the chocolate chip cookie. The chocolates tasted much more sweet and there were plenty of them. I liked the decor of the location. A lot of seating inside. It had a drive thru. You cold order online and pick up. You could sit outside under the umbrella tables. They sold: hummus, kabobs, salads, dressing, kids menu, cookies, cake, juices, meals for four and pita sandwiches. Service was quick and nice. Inside was clean. Adequate parking EDIT: Took the hubby too and he loved it he got a pita sandwich and it was huge. Also tried the yaya chocolate cake and that frosting is delicious and the cake was moist and very good. I got the Ruben this time and the coleslaw was yummy and I never eat coleslaw but they make their's differently.

Love Zoe's Kitchen. I have been to several of them in fact and i've always gotten a great lunch/meal here. Lots of healthy options to choose from without sacrificing taste. My favorite dish there is the Chicken Kabobs with rice pilaf and side salad...so good! There Chicken is awesome.

Very close to I77 so it was a refreshing alternative to fast food when you are traveling. I got the Greek chicken pita and it was pretty good. Potato salad is made without mayo but overall good (needed some salt).

Today for lunch .... it was Zoe's To Go .... Chicken Kabobs with salad and white beans. The chicken was tender and had a delicious flavor and the salad was very fresh and light tasting and the greek dressing was perfect (to me!) and the white beans were a nice treat instead of white rice. I have also had their chicken salad and pimento cheese to go ... great grabs for the weekend. Great place for lunch or dinner ... especially if you want the ease of "TO GO" order on line, pay on line, pick up at drive through window and off you go .... Also, if you are in the mood for chocolate cake then I say have a piece .... it is AWESOME!!
