I had a great time here. The drinks are what lured me and were AMAZING! There was a DJ spinning hip hop upstairs and it was good people watching. The only down sides were that they close too damn early (2 am on a Friday night) and the crowd was a little young for me. But drinks were delicious and the next time I'm in South Carolina, I will definitely return for them.

allow me to start this review with a disclaimer: i'm VERY opinionated in regards to fine dining establishments and upscale mixology bars so this will be a very harsh review. Upon entering Wet Willie's I was immediately impressed by the vast assortment of professional hand made frozen beverage machines churning away alongside the wall adjacent to the entrance, my bartender "Rosco" recommended the "Purple Haze" to me and my cohorts. Immediately upon pressing the straw to my lips i could identify that this cocktail although made in large batches was first rate. Only trained mixologists could combine the ingredients in such a way in an ordinary icee machine to create such alcoholic bliss as I imbibed in the Purple Haze. As I spin this culinary tale of wonder we allowed our taste buds to veer from the sweet and frigid ethanol treats to the savory bar menu. After this tropical inspired drink experience I felt the need to stay near the equator in my ordering and leap from the caribbean to the forbidden land of Mexico. First I must say that this was no ordinary Quesadilla, this was divine, a feast worthy of Quetzalcoatl himself to dine upon whilst his feathered wings and talons host a variety of frozen alcoholic delicacies and a quesadilla resting on his scaly reptilian skin. Again I adventurously dive my palate into the mexican inspired cuisine listed upon this tome of culinary perfection and demand an order of Pina Colada Shrimp from the guardian of the frozen drink machines, keeping a quick eye on any one that may be tempted to pluck a sour apple flavored frozen cocktail from this frozen mechanical garden of eden. With the first bite of the Pina Colada Shrimp I felt a head rush one only feels when you born and when you die, I was instantly mentally transported to a tropical beach where boats arrive daily with the freshest shrimp mortals can fetch from the sea. These shrimp are then thrust into a bath of shredded coconut and lightly pan fried to perfection by what can only be a master chef, navigating at the helm of this flavorful cruise that I will not soon forget. Mozzerella stix were very tasty.

Caribbean in the middle of the vista. The Baja Mahi tacos were delicious and they have a TON of daquiri drinks. The employees are great. The patrons leave a lot to be desired. We were there for 20 minutes and did not feel safe and we were ready to go to the next restaurant.

Hang out here with a few friends after a festival. We had a few drinks while sitting outside people watching. The slushy drinks are good! They allow you to sample a few before purchasing, definitely take advantage of that. I had the strawberry and mango daiquiri mix. It was very yum! Their food is pretty good too. We sat outside for a couple hours, but not once did someone come outside to ask if we needed anything. Many of the employees were outside socializing with their friends or with each other. We always went indoors to order another round. Other than that we had a great time.

The live music on the weekends is very good. Great atmosphere upstairs. Drinks were overly sweet and weak in my opinion but the majority seemed to love it. Popular place for the young crowd.

I really need to take more pictures when I go out because I really thought this wet willies was in a bad location and dead... Its the EXACT opposite at night. I went to this Wet Willies while in the Carolina's this weekend on a Saturday night, and it is located in a very lively area called the Vistas. There were sooo many choices of daiquiri's. You are even allowed to sample them to see which one you would like to order. I tried one, and it wasn't a favorite (could not recall the name). But I asked one of the bartenders which flavors were the sweetest, he told me pina colada and mango were two of them. I mixed this two together and it was DELICIOUS!! i really wished i would have gotten another, but my group left early. The prices range from $6 for the smallest cup, $8 for the medium cup and $10 for the largest cup. There were police officers posted near the wet willies making sure people were ok. Very nice location and I will go back! The only reason I give it a four is, because I wish there was a little more room to sit down in this location, it gets pretty busy on a Saturday (I don't believe they allow you to take alcohol outside a vendor in South Carolina).

Great 21+ place to start the evening off. Get 2-3 Call a Cab medium drinks (pink flamingos for ladies with a softer pallete) and you will feel nice for the rest of the evening. Saves you money before going to different places in the vista. After 9pm on weekends the place is ALIVE !! Live bands throughout the week and various nights they have game nights like bingo. And their chicken wings are really great. Actually a pretty great place to eat i will def be catching the olympics here !! Apparently there is a dance floor on the second level (this will be checked out and written about) Just be aware that these are slushies and if they are spilled on you, your night is pretty much shot. Closes around 2 on the weekends and they have a nice outside area where you can lounge, drink, and people watch

Bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful. The drinks were very sugary though. It was a good place to watch a football game... plenty of TVs and not too crowded in the early evening

Our group visited for lunch and noshed on the fried okra and yummy fries smothered with cheese prior to salads, sandwiches, or sliders. Everything was well prepared and tasted great. I tried the naked frozen drink and found it to be too cold to enjoy. I got a chest freeze after the first taste so I had to wait for it to melt before I could drink it, but it looked so good that I'm glad I tried it. The waiter was very attentive and filled our sweet tea cups quite frequently. This was a nice spot for lunch, having both indoor and outdoor seating.

Slushy drinks...eh... Honestly, I like the ones at Dr. Rocco's better. The atmosphere in here is never great. People sitting at tables, sipping frigid drinks, staring at each other. Also, the wait staff is awful. We asked for a menu, and the waitress never came back. Then, when we finally flagged her down again, she said that the kitchen had closed (between the time she gave us menus and when we finally got her to come back). Horrible.

I love almost everything about Wet Willie's and I have never had a bad experience at this location. Me and my friends were pretty pissed about the treatment we received at XS Nightlife and decided to go to Wet Willie's instead. We were still talking about the incident with the jerk of an owner and I think the guy at the door overheard us talking about it. He was very nice when we arrived and it actually stood out to me at the time. This is how EVERYONE should be treated when visiting an establishment to spend their hard earned money. Don't know his name but it was around 11:30pm 10/18/11 Saturday night. He gets kudos from me. There was another time I went there and the waitress was very pleasant and talkative, despite the fact that it was a very busy Friday night and I'm sure a lot of drunken idiots were in there. I was expecting her to just want to hurry up and get our order and go about her business but she was the complete opposite. I had never tried the food there before so she reccomended a few things. The food came out hot and it was very good in my opinion. Maybe they just knew we were 2 of the only people in there that weren't drunk or that particular waitress just has great customer service skills. The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star is because there's times when I want to go there and just chill out and have a slushie but it's usually too crowded and there is no where to sit. I also think it would be cool if they had a bigger variety of music playing upstairs.

Beautiful weather made for a great evening on the patio enjoying live music. Drinks were good, friends were great, people watching was spectacular!

I'm a huge fan of Wet Willies. They almost always have a live band, and upstairs has couches and comfy chairs to relax and listen to some live music. I love the fact that they have such a variety of slushies, and they are delicous. I would recommend the Chocolate Thunder (tastes just like a Frosty) mixed with almost anything. The Chocolate and White Russian is a Mudslide and it is one of my favorites. The large is $8 but you get to keep the cup and it is very filling!
