I really like the concept of this place. It's like the subway of pizzas. You get to pick what you want to put on your pizza and they put it on the pizza in front of you. They have a good amount of topping options and size options too. I really liked this place at first because it was walkable from campus but then the second time I got it, it was just okay. They have trivia night so if you want to go get beer, pizza, and play trivia this place would be a good option!

This little funky place on Main Street offers gourmet pizza at reasonable prices. Uncle Maddio's decor made me feel like I had been transported to the pizza version of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory! I had their signature pizza: The Greek. The Greek created a party on my tongue! Sprinkled with feta cheese and artichoke, this pizza lived up to its name. The pizza receives high marks from me. But.... The long line/wait forces me to take one star away. Maybe I'm a stereotypical impatient American, but I want great pizza fast! It took 30 minutes to receive my pizza, but it could have been because it was lunch hour. 12 p.m. on Main Street can be a little crazy! Still, I recommend this place if you are seeking a casual environment that offers good customer service and awesome food!

This place is the Subway of pizza joints. You custom order your pizza as you go through the line, saying yes or no to whatever toppings are in front of you. They then put the pizza in a moving oven (I'm sure there's a technical name for that!) and they're ready in less than 10 minutes. Cool concept. Not necessarily my favorite pizza place in town, but everyone should give it a try at least once. Right near USC in the Yoghut plaza. You can park in the Adesso garage if you make sure to stay in the retail spots.

Frozen eggplant warmed up, messy sandwiches. I would rather eat at Olive Garden, which makes Uncle Maddio's sound really bad. The restaurant is cold and loud. Not an enjoyable dining experience at all.

This place just proves that you can never have enough pizzerias near a college campus. You can stand in line while watching some incompetent bored soul throw some toppings on a thin crust pizza. Say you have $10 burning a hole in your pocket, really crave a lump of rubbery cheese and tasteless meat, you could go here. Or, you could go next door to Moes and get the same fare on a tortilla. But, do yourself a favor and try the pizza at Mellow Mushroom.

Awesome pizzas and salads! Their sausage, chicken, and veggies are super tasty! Everything is fresh and cooked in the restaurant.

We've always had a nice experience at Uncle Maddio's (minus our most recent visit), parking has always been easy (we come either later in the evening after normal dinner times or late afternoons and always get a parking spot on main st). I think the concept is cool... similar to subway and moes. Our pizzas have always been good - enough toppings and crispy (I love getting the balsamic drizzle over my pizza). They have a decent variety which includes vegan and gluten free options! Our latest visit was on a Friday night, there's no one ahead of us or behind us so we take a little time trying to figure out what kind of pizzas we're going to create this time. My son is always the easiest... BUT, this time he wanted HALF PEPPERONI, HALF CHEESE... My bf placed his order first with the girl behind the counter... I then placed my order with another guy who then passes me on to the same girl that prepared my boyfriend's pizza... His is already in the oven. She takes my order for my son first, even repeating "half pep, half cheese..." Then the original guy comes back to create my pizza... I'm no longer watching or paying attention to the original girl bcuz I figured it was simple enough. He prepares my pizza, I then move down the line to pay... the same girl that prepared my son's and bf's pizzas was now at the register taking my payment (maybe this is the problem). We go sit at our table and wait for our pizzas (we ordered Togo). The original guy finally comes out with our pizzas and opens each box to confirm our orders are correct... My son's pizza is first... ALL PEPPERONI... I tell him, "well we actually ordered half and half," he laughs a little and says, "I know, I didn't make this one, I told them I'd go out and show it to you and if you guys are cool with it then okay." So I "laugh..." He goes through the remaining two boxes and they're fine - he proceeds to say "ok have a good night..." And then I'm like... "Ummm can we get that half pep half cheese?" "Oh okay" Strange. He walks away without the pizza box. We wait. A manager comes over and says, "how can I help you?" Now I'm a little annoyed... Because he was clearly sent over for something, why didn't the guy tell him? Long story short - HE apologized, fixed the pizza and gave us a coupon for a free 9" two topping pizza. Which we haven't been back to use. So all-in-all there was a happy ending. Thank you manager for giving us great customer service! PS - we tried the garlic bread this time and hated it, it's heavily seasoned, but in our opinion has NO FLAVOR at all, the sweet tomato/pizza sauce they give with it doesn't help either!

Uncle Maddio's is one of my favorite places near USC's campus. I like that I get to decide how I want my pizza prepared. Think of this place as a Chipolette / Moe's meets a pizza joint. The ingredients are very good quality, I especially love the steak. My personal favorite pizza is the BBQ Chicken pizza with extra crispy crust. The place is always well clean, and there is plenty of seats with outlets so I can work while I eat. Plus, the owners are almost always their and they are super friendly. Overall, the service is outstanding. It is only about $10 for a pizza with 3 toppings and a drink...not bad for dinner. Plus, they have amazing deserts. Simply put, if you want a good pizza made to your liking come to Uncle Maddio's you won't be disappointed!

First, Maddio's food is good. The concept is a good one. Second, their glove practices are disgusting. Yesterday the guy making pizzas was wiping off the board with a disgusting looking towel with a glove on each hand. When he got to the end of the board he grabbed the trash can with one gloved hand while holding the disgusting rag with the other gloved hand. When he finished, he walked to the other side, he asked me what I was ordering. Then he proceeded to touch my crust with his disgusting gloves. He picked up every topping and disbursed them with the gloves. Come on! Clean gloves! When I got to the register I asked the cashier for a pen. I wrote "clean gloves" In large print on the circle shaped comments card. The cashier then instructed me to hang It on the bulletin board for all to see. She didn't care what I wrote. I even said "their gloves are disgusting". She just smiled and asked if I wanted a drink. Come on Uncle Maddios. You have a good concept. Take some lessons from your neighbor Moe's. You would never see such disgusting practices there.

I like Uncle Maddio's concept very much. However, their "glove practices" (as another Yelper put it) are downright horrifying. I once saw an employee (with gloved hands) take one of their shoes and one of their socks off, answer a phone (still barefoot), re-do her ponytail, and then continue working (still barefoot). That was it for us! I spoke to a woman manager who seemed scatter-brained and frantic, she ended up asking "WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO?". Keep in mind, I was calmly addressing the issue with her.

The line at lunch time shows that they've got the formula right. This is during the summer, when the students are out and Main St is kind of deserted. Good thin crust pizza where you control the toppings or salads and / or soup. Unfortunately they replaced the nice open table and chair setting of the previous restaurant with claustrophobic diner-style traditional red booths and tables. But good food with boring decor is still good.

Really like this joint. Great concept! And the signature pizzas are top notch! Also have had a couple salads and the ingredients were super fresh! Definitely check it out

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types.
