Since I was little lad, I've always come here. In the 20 odd years I can remember this place has always filled my belly perfectly. I can't ask for anything else in a fast food place. Their burgers, their chicken, their chicken sandwhiches, their bbq, and most amazingly their milkshakes. (I'm an Oreo in the family where the rest of the family is chocolate). I know I can't eat this food everyday but if there ever was a way that I could, I would.

The fried chicken didn't wow me. Somewhat bland and no hot sauce. The Cole slaw was the best part of my meal which seems wrong. Drive thru never acknowledged me after sitting there forever, so I had to pull up to the window to order. I won't be coming back to this location.

The burgers were cheap tasting. The other fast food joints have them on burgers and fries. We only stop by here for some banana splits. Their deserts are very good.

Best Chicken in Town!! Great place to eat. I recommend Rush's to all my clients. Especially the out of town ones. Great hamburgers and shakes too! I highly recommend!

I am not really sure why this place has such great reviews. The food was okay. Hotdogs I make at home probably would taste just the same, if not better. I got the hot dog basket and the fries and cole slaw were gross. Left the place hungry. As a plus, Staff was nice and service was fast.

Stumbled on Rush's on a late night drive through the Carolina's, and the usually reliable "lots of cars in the parking lot on a late night" test had my pulling in the parking lot to check it out. I don't think I've ever been in a fast food place with more staff, and each of them were kind and helpful. I ordered up the 1/2 pound of chopped pork and an order of fries. The pork was moist and cooked well, and the fries were tasty, too. The rest of the menu looked pretty good as well, and if my timing is right, I'll be able to stop here again on my return trip. And that's a pretty good sign of a good meal! My scores on the fast food scale: Atmosphere: 4 Service: 5 Food: 4 Value: 4

I really can't be unbiased about this place. My favorite burgers in the world. Go here.

It's rare I get to consume a juicy homemade cheese burger. But this one was worth the calories and fat. Food was great for fast food...but the burger didn't taste slightly "fast food". Not to mention the restaurants team members were in sync and rocking. Pig out!!

I don't understand why this place has high ratings. The food is poorly made; about the only thing that tasted OK was the water. The food is about on par with McDonalds, but a little worse. I've made the mistake of coming twice ... never again!

Very fast and polite service. It is one of the best fast food places along this corridor as you get a choice of chicken, beef, barbeque, hamburgers, hot dogs and ice cream. The apple turnover and hot fudge cake sundaes are awesome, so long as you like vanilla. Baskets include fries and slaw. The slaw is thinly cut. Open late, 10 to midnight 7 days a week.

I went there and ordered a few tailgate specials. The cashier and manager were both very friendly, and even offered me a drink while I waited. This place is always fast, which is great if you are in a hurry. The chicken is larger than most other restaurants, but also a bit more pricey. Almost everyone agrees their hamburgers are really good! When you dine in, there is always someone walking around refilling your drinks! I think that's great!

One of the 9 Rush's in the greater Columbia area, this location is on Garner's Ferry just East of I77. I think they say it well enough: Fabulous food, fast!

This was my first visit to Rush's. As the name suggests the ordering and delivery process took all of 3-4 minutes. The counter person was pleasant. I ordered a plate with the chili cheese burger, fries, slaw and iced tea. The food arrived warm, as ordered and of reasonable proportions. The price was average for this type of restaurant. I found a seat and observed the area. I had noted the food prep area appeared to be clean and well organized and the dining room seemed likewise. My burger was properly cooked and generally tasty as were the fries. The tea and slaw left something to be desired. I'm not even sure how to describe the taste of the slaw other than to say I have never tasted anything like it and hope never to again. The tea was flavorless and had only a hint of sweetness. When compared to Pals or The Beacon, Rush's just doesn't stand a chance. Pals quality and taste are unmatched. For atmosphere, quantity and flavor nothing comes close to The Beacon.
