Always a friendly welcome and always fast service. Parking is a touch difficult, but so is every other location in the downtown area. The Sriracha burrito makes my mouth water. Stuff with chicken, black beans, sour cream, cilantro, salsa, cheese, spinach, black olives and of course Sriracha! The medium cheese dip and chips feeds two with ease. Enjoy!

The food here is very meh. It's basically flavorless, you can make better burritos at home. Of all the salsas they have, only one is really good, the rest are pretty mediocre. Their queso though is delicious! Also, the staff here is very friendly! If you ask for extra chips they'll definitely help you out! Also, on Mondays they have a great deal!

I come from the land where Moe's was born- Atlanta. I really enjoy the food at Moe's- my friend and I had a tradition going where we would come here almost every Friday for lunch. I will say that you need to know what you like in order to be totally satisfied with your order. It's not a place where you can order something random and then be blown away. Here's a few things I like to order: The Close Talker Salad, no shell. Black beans, chicken, lettuce, a TON of pico de gallo, black olives. BAM. Less than 350 calories of deliciousness. No dressing needed. If I'm feeling spoiled, it's quesadilla time. Black beans, chicken, black olives, and a tiny bit of pico. I love this one salsa, I can't even remember the name. I just really like Moe's, I've always lived within 2 miles of one and this isn't an exception. It's great for students. The staff are really chill and will make small talk with you that isn't robotic. Keep doing your thing, Moe's.

Hoppin place, always filled with students. Good weekly deals and every time I come they always have some dead playing!! Service is fast. Good joint to grab a meal and sit inside or out, rain or shine.

Won't ever return to this Moe's again. Jason, the assistant manager is the reason why. He is very rude and unprofessional. I was told that Chili Con Queso burrito does not count for Moe Monday sale when clearly it says ANY BURRITO! Jason argued with me about it and said "I don't make the signs". Sent an email to corporate, but never received a response. Had an issue at the Devine Street Moe's and they actually responded and gave me something for my problem.... Will take my business to Devine Street, West Columbia, Lexington, or Irmo Moe's next time.

First, I remember why I quit going to this location in particular. It's slow, loud, and the portion sizes aren't the same as other Moe's. The food quality is about the same. Though I feel like I can get better food at Chipotle. It seems like every time I come to this location, they are slow, the meat tastes like it's been sitting out for a while and overall, this location just is not as good as the other ones in Columbia.

Is this Mexican? Moe's is by far the blandest "southwest" food I've ever tasted. The staff is friendly, but that cannot make up for such sparse servings. Their serving spoons were half of Chipotles and the meals were just as much. The meat tasted old and seasoned to death, if you ended up getting meat in your bite at all. My burrito, the largest one available was yet again lacking in comparison to other chains, like Chipotle or Qdoba. None of the flavors blend together, possibly because of the lack of flavor in general. Salsas had no natural flavor, most flavors were masked by an overbearing amount of salt. It's safe to say, I would so much rather go to Chipotle and eat organic, flavorful food, instead of its cheap (but not retail wise) knockoff.

Right across the street from my office at USC. Recommend: Burrito Monday (any burrito and drink for $5.50) and the tofu is better than expected. Employees are friendly and try hard to please on the food prep line. Cons: Not really Tex-Mex flavors just the same ingredients in name only (beans, rice, tortillas). Bland salsa selection. Tries to be trendy but is just another food chain restaurant. Good for: hungry college students I go here because it is fast and convenient and I can get it prepared the way I want with vegetarian options.

Great food as always with Moe's. Good service and seating. Very limited parking in the lot, so chances are you'll have to park on the street. It's also right next to campus, so it's very convenient for students. On the other hand, it's right next to campus, so it gets swarmed by students.

Moe's is the default lunch or dinner location for many people on Mondays (when you can get any burrito a drink, and chips for about $5-$6. It can get pretty packed at peak times, and you may be waiting 10 minutes or more to get through the line, but thankfully service is quick once you do get up there. The food is OK, not great. The best item is probably the chips and queso. However, in terms of the burritos and tacos, I think there are many better places you could go. Chipotle or Qdoba to name a few.

People seem to LOVE Moe's. I ate there again yesterday because my niece and nephew were jonesin' for some Moe's. However, for me, my experience was merely a reminder of why I never eat here of my own accord. The food is bland, bland, bland. I've tried something different each time I go, and I have yet to find anything I actually enjoy consuming except for the cheese dip. The cheese dip and chips are ok. The Moe's Monday deals are decent--you get any burrito with chips and a small drink for $5. But I'd rather pay the extra $2 and eat at flavorful, organic, nutritious AND delicious CHIPOTLE!

I love Moe's! It is so good and so reasonably priced. Moe Monday is $5 for a burrito, chips and a drink. You can get whatever you want in your burritto (cucumbers make a good burrito) and all the ingredients are fresh. I am a big fan, despite the haters! Better than the other tex mex chains because you get free chips and salsa (yum!) It is the "college" Moe's though, so sometimes it is really busy. I usually don't go during peak times though so that doesn't bother me.

This Moe's really has their stuff together and operates rather efficiently, aside from high traffic times, the food comes quickly and is hot and delicious. There's just something about the Moe's flavor that other restaurants can't seem to capture, and they make everything to order so you'll always get what you want. The Chipotle comparisons confuse me, because there really isn't any. Chipotle is far more expensive than Moe's, the portions are smaller, the food dryer, and you don't get any free chips and salsa along with your already expensive meal there. Don't get me wrong, Chipotle's not bad, but when presented with a choice it's Moe's every time. Plus, the Columbia location at least has infinitely more food choices. Seems like a no brainer to me. My only complaint is that Queso is kind of pricy. But you can't get it anywhere else (at least quick-service), so there's that for you.

I have been to Moe's in 5 or 6 states and this is honestly the worst one I have ever stepped in. The restaurant was dirty, service was horrible and food tasted bland/weak/generic. I'll keep driving past this Moe's and head down to Qdoba in 5 points from now on.

Love this place. Staff is friendly, outgoing, and very capable. Food is good and fresh. Best is, it is easy to eat healthy. There are vegetarian options. You can put tofu on your taco, burrito, etc, instead of meat. Chips always come with your food and there is a nice choice of salsas at the condiment bar (queso is extra). The music is a nice mix of 60s 70s 80s pop and R&B with some occasional surprises like Sarah Vaughan singing "Don't Look at Me That Way" or Bobby Darin's "Beyond the Sea." I'm a visiting prof at USC with very spartan accommodations and I usually eat there at least 3-5 times a week!

This place is alright I guess. The menu is kind of weird; if I want a burrito I have to order a "Joey Bag of Donuts", which is difficult to do with a straight face. I am guessing that all the menu names are pop-culture references, but... this is a wild guess. So on the one hand, the place is strange, but also it is weirldy corporate. There are "Feed the MOEment" signs all over the place, and in the men's bathroom there is a newspaper article detailing the secret of their franchising success. Apparently top management is really anal, and periodically visits and makes sure that employees yell "Welcome to Moe's!" in just the right way. They have a drink machine which will dispense like 200 kinds of soda, which is pretty cool. As far as the food... it's pretty decent. El Burrito on Harden is a lot better but sometimes I will come here when I am in the area or am tired of El Burrito. Not great, but Moe's serves a passable burrito and I will continue to eat here from time to time.

Moes has great burritos, and delicious salsas! I don't mind a little mess since it is a food you eat with your hands anyways!

When you walk in the door, they should say, "welcome to messy-ass Moe's!!!" This restaurant consistently has the messiest food prep area. I have stopped going during peak hours because you just don't know what you'll find in your guac! However, I've determined that there are some employees that give a damn; there is a manager and a 'indie kid' on the prep line sometimes that appreciate my preference for salsa without bits of bacon and jalapeños with no chunks of cheese. Moe's is a great fast food vegan option. They offer tofu and meat free rice and beans. That is enough for me to fret chards of meat and cheese flying through the air as they make my burrito nearby.....especially if "indie kid" is on the line.

i gave them second chance...and tried their FAMOUS burrito.... that was, like Talib said, messy-ass-moe's burrito came with greasy chips as usual. it was fast, but making it fast doesn't make yo burrito testier!! i would say that was my last visit to Moes...in my life! Goodbye moes.

Moe's is the perfect college resturaunt, delicious food, moderate prices, and a kickass soundtrack. I would eat here every day if I could.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
