Dickey's was recommended to me by a friend. He'll stay a friend! I was craving beef brisket, and they delivered with excellence. The portion of meat was a tad small or I'd have given them five stars. If you're looking for them, the gps doesn't make it clear that they are located in the same building as Krogers.

Three months have passed since I had a bad experience at this restaurant and although someone contacted me through Yelp asking for my contact information, after sending that information no one has contacted me.

Pretty darn spot on for a chain restaurant. Pulled pork and brisket were both tender and delicious. Not the least bit dried out either which was a huge plus. Used for a catering order and everything went very smoothly. Well done

Great everything, I had the 3 meat plate with the beef brisket, pork ribs, Polish sausage, baked potato casserole and fried onions, it was all cooked to perfection, the service was very friendly as well.

This place has great tasting bbq and friendly service. Their portions are generous and they have daly specials. They offer military discount, a must visit during your stay in Columbia. I recommend the 3 meat plate.

The price was large and the portions were small. The bbq was old and dry precooked and hours old. What did I expect it's fast food. The food took longer than expected to be packaged for our pick-up. They didn't give us any bbq sauce. The okra was basically raw with breading on the outside. The fried onion tasted like a salt lick. The bbq ribs were like toothpicks and barely had any meat it looked like beef jerky, They didn't give me my pecan pie but judging by the quality of everything else they probably did me a favor.

The food was poorly seasoned, portions were small, and it was definitely over priced. Won't go back, especially since it's next to Kroger I'll cook my own food.

Delicious pulled pork and sauces - mustard sauce was especially delicious! Fried okra was fresh and cooked to order. Rolls were soft and yummy. Overall, very pleased and will definitely be a repeat customer!

Excellent BBQ! You can taste the freshness and smoky flavor. I will definitely return again and again.

The pulled pork was mostly fat and I found what looked like an artery in it. Jalapeno beans were dry as the desert. Won't be back.

This place is a GREAT little hidden gem right in Columbia. Thankful that the local cable network, FOX news, featured them with a coupon deal. We decided to take advantage of a coupon, and attempt to try another BBQ spot in the area. Since, sadly, all the bbq spots have been letting us down. However, it's safe to say that Dickey's on Two Notch (in a plaza anyway) has turned all this around and is now our GO TO bbq spot in the area! Very very tasty food being dished up. Open only a few months now, they are doing BBQ right. And making it their own. The sauce isn't the classic vinegar that south Carolina is known for (and I'm not a fan of), but it's not that thick/hearty tomato base either. It's almost a combination of the two. Enough to not upset either taste bud. It's a BBQ sauce all its own and there are PLENTY of options. All kept warm (which I thought was nice!) and ready to be scooped into a dipping cup, or poured directly onto your plate. I went with two meats, and settled on the Pulled Pork (they said was the best) and their ribs. While I've had really good pulled pork before, this one definitely ranks up there with them. It's VERY tender and juicy, delicious and mouth watering. It was great right on the plate, and I imagine even better on a sandwich. I used a little of their sweet sauce to give it a kick and it was just amazing! The Ribs were equally delicious. Basted in their own BBQ sauce they really didn't need more unless you just wanted it. Tender, meaty, and full of flavor. It was all worth the visit! Their fried okra was made fresh on the spot, and while I did hit a piece or two that just wasn't cooked right, they were all really good for the most part. And made to order so that made them warm and perfectly crips! Beans didn't taste from a jar/can, they had a nice flavor to them, but didn't wow me. However, it was a nice sweet taste, so I felt it complimented what I was eating for the meat selections. Tried a taste of their Beef Brisket from my girl's plate, and it was very good as well. Actually had a very flavorful bark to it and was still nice and tender. I may have to order that one myself on the next visit because, oh yes, there will most definitely be a next visit. And if you're looking for a tasty BBQ place to check out that isn't focused on strictly the vinegar based BBQ sauce, or ONLY pork products. Then I highly recommend Dickey's! They have a great selection (even salads), good tea, great service, and plenty of seating! You'll love the food, so check it out when you're in/near the Sandhill area!

Great BBQ and the lunch deals are great, unfortunately sometimes the free soft serve ice cream machine isn't working.

If you are looking for good bbq on a Monday or any day of the week for that matter this is a really good place to go. Most bbq places that are really good are only open odd hours, but this place is open daily and it's just as good as the other places that are closed. The pulled pork sandwiches are a special on Mondays for 7.99 which comes with two sides and a drink. Really good deal and the pulled pork is yummy! They have a variety of sauces to pick from: spicy, original, sweet, vinegar and one more I can't remember. They have good side choices also. They have souvenir cups you can take with you when you purchase a meal. Also- free soft serve ice cream is also a plus! Good find!

I prefer Texas BBQ over SC BBQ, but it is very hard to find here. Dickey's is the best (and only) Texas BBQ to my knowledge in Columbia. The meats and sauces were outstanding. Nothing too exciting about the beans and potato salad. Fried okra was really good. Free vanilla soft serve was a nice touch. Main complaints: portion size, especially meats, were too small. Price high relative to portion size. Strip mall ambiance - buy hey, who cares if you're going for BBQ.
