I tried all Cola bagels. These are really the highest quality. They are fresh, delicious, and have minimum ingredients. In other words, they are not your typical periodic table-type of bagels that you can find, for example, at carolina cafe and catering (ew). I do think that these bagels are also even better than Panera's. So if you long for a really nice breakfast (think whole wheat everything with egg and cheese), you might want to pay a visit to brueggers.

Best bagels in the Columbia area, and they season both sides again. They stopped and only did 1 for a bit, but they upped their game and that is why I hit em with the 5 stars. If your looking to cut a few calories have them make a bagel skinny style where they cut about a half inch out, but you still get all the good stuff.

I finally stopped and tried the pastrami breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel. So good! It might've been some of the best pastrami I've had- and I love me some pastrami. I also got a hot coconut coffee and that was pretty tasty as well. I wish I lived a little closer, I'd come more often, but I will definitely make it a priority to stop for a bagel after Trader Joe's shopping in the future. Also the ladies working were super sweet and helpful. All around great visit.

Brueggers is close to our house so on those mornings when I'm just too lazy to pull myself up early enough to put together some semblance of a breakfast I'll just haul it to Brueggers. By far my favorite breakfast item (besides coffee... that's always my favorite breakfast item) is the spinach cheddar omelet and I add bacon (cause duh, bacon) on a sun dried tomato bagel. If I'm just going the bagel and creme cheese route then it's all pretty delicious. They have seasonal bagels that I enjoy... cranberry, apple etc. They have yogurt parfaits and a variety of juices, coffees and soda. They also have lunch items but I haven't had them. The staff is always friendly and helpful which is great because if I haven't had my morning coffee yet then well... let's just say I wouldn't call myself friendly and helpful. :-)

Love to stop by here on the way in to work to grab a quick breakfast or grab lunch for the day. I love the classic wraps for breakfast. And the bagels an cream cheese are delicious. I also really love getting a salad here. It's fresh and flavorful. The customer service here is great. The people are really warm and welcoming and super helpful.

You can't beat the service at this location, I am a regular there. They are consistent with their service and product and only once have they been out of my favorite rosemary olive oil bagel. But, the new Chorizo Jack bagel.....TOOOOO HOTT!!!!!! WHew....I'm glad I didn't try this out for breakfast, you'd have heartburn all day long.

I walked in this morning to a really long line and was worried I wouldnt make it to work in time. But as a cashier noticed the line, she moved to the prep station and started helping. In the mean time the other cashier asked all of those waiting, if we were having any coffee. Best.idea.ever. It kept me happy and willing to wait. Although busy the girl making my bagel was so friendly. The food is always incredible, I particularly love the pretzel bagel and today I tried the bacon scallion cream cheese and it was delicious! 5 stars for consistancy, 5 stars for customer service. It is a well oiled machine! Also...their hazelnut coffee is to die for.

No real bagels here only a sandwich shop that uses bread in the shape of a bagel. Super small bagel that left me hungry and longing for the real thing... SUCKS :(

A bit pricey, with bagels on the smaller side. However, the bagels are delicious and the servers were so friendly! They remembered my order after the second time I went. There's a decent high school crowd, but they don't seem obnoxious or too overbearing. I like it!

Had the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel with chips and a drink. It tasted ok, but I could have just slopped the same thing together at home. Waaaay too expensive since I was still really hungry afterwards. It should have come with a half dozen bagels for later.

Take it from a native New Yorker, Breuggers makes the best bagel south of the Mason-Dixon Line. Their Real, normal sized bagels have the right texture and flavor - better than some shops back home that seem to be making bready, super-sized bagels these days. Prices for a bagel and butter or cream cheese aren't bad and their coffee is good too. Get a refillable mug to save a few cents per visit. I only rated this shop a 4 because the service doesn't live up to my expectations after going to the one in Durham, NC for many years, but then their staff remembered just about everybody's name. Their line was out the door every morning starting at about 5:30. The friendly service might have had something to do with it, but I'm guessing the food was the main cause. Oh, and I wish they'd kept the "Better Bacon Cheddar" on the menu. It was an egg and cheese, applewood smoked bacon, and light herb-garlic cream cheese on a bagel of your choice. Egg and cream cheese may sound strange, but trust me it was good.

Had the smoked salmon bagel sandwich on a salted bagel. I liked how salty the bagel was, but it was SUPER SMALL! My stomach was still growling afterwards. I'm from Washington state, so I know what smoked salmon is. The fish they put on the smoked salmon sandwich is NOT smoked salmon. It's lox. Big difference.
