That good. If you want Thai here here is the place I had spicy noodle #3 heat. Huge portion. My DH ate 1/3 He had panang curry. Of course we shared. Excellent basil rolls. Yummy. Lunch has. Spring rolls and very flavorful no carb soup.

Definitely coming back! Good food, great price. Came on a Sunday for late lunch and although it seemed they had been really busy not long ago (few tables available), they waiter promptly prepped a table for us and took our order. We got fried rice with shrimp and curry rice and both were good. Also the sweet and sour with chicken and we loved it. The fried rice is a bit too oily, but the flavor was good! Tried the thai tea and I enjoyed tasting some strong spicy and sweet tea ;) im having it the next time around. Great friendly staff, good food, good prices!

We were in Clemson for a visit, my wife and some friends went to school here. We stopped here for lunch. The place has good seating and is clean. All the entrees come with soup and spring roll at lunch. We tried red curry, pad thai and basil fried rice and they were all good. Good food for a college town

Nope! Nope! Nope! ordered the entree cashew chicken...veggies were good, but sauce was too salty. The checks we were given only had numbers and symbols....and when we gave them back, we were told that the tip was 'not cool' enough...I have seen a great many places around the USA and India, but never have I been treated with such rudeness as to ask me to order take-out if the tip is not satisfactory...

Out of the way, but a great lunch alternative to chain restaurants. They'll make it as spicy or not as you like, good spring rolls and noodles, and really affordable!

I was visiting school & was pretty surprised to see Arbys transformed into this cozy Thai place. Very neat interiors & friendly staff. We had basil fried rice, pad Thai & pad c u. Out of all,I felt pad Thai portion was distinctively lesser. The taste was good though. I enjoyed my pad c u as well. I would have frequented this place if I was a student again. They have a good selection of curries as well.

Good place for lunch in clemson. Refreshing taste since different flavor but not so great ambience Food tried: veggie garlic and pepper lunch special , spring rolls, lemonade Taste : The gravy sauce of the main dish was amazing. Spring rolls were crispy not so tasty filling but the dipping sauce was good. Ambience and service : not so good interior and ok service Price range: it is cheap and reasonable and light on your pocket! Under $10 good deal.

We went for lunch. The food was just ok. My husband ordered the Chili Delight in spicey and it was incredibly bland. My Red Curry was good. The meats were cooked well. Overall the restaurant was quite dirty.

Very good restaurant, the food is light and tasty and had surprisingly good sushi. Definitely authentic and reasonably priced. The aesthetic and awkward service are the only reasons this isn't a 5-star rating from me. Great lunch spot, would probably go somewhere else for anything more than a casual meal with close friends or a workday lunch.

I've been here for the lunch several times and I always leave satisfied. Their curry options are delicious, and you get plenty of food (I usually need a box). They have plenty of vegetarian options (with tofu or just no meat), the levels of spiciness are perfect, and the lunch special gets you endless spring rolls and soup. Some of the wait staff is a bit awkward but they're always friendly and fast. Love this place!

My favorite place to eat lunch in Clemson. The atmosphere is not the greatest (in need of some renovating), but the food is really good!!!!

I was so excited to come down south and try the food that the college kids are raving about. Finally I've come to the conclusion that maybe these folks just don't know good food, and Thaiger is no exception. The chicken satay looked much more microwaved than grilled, with an almost solid peanut butter for a sauce. The Pad Pick King of medium spice was plenty spice but had no flavor at all and the sauce was mostly pure oil that separated completely from the few spices thrown in--yuck. Overcooked vegetables rounded that one out nicely. And lastly the cream cheese rolls were also plain, and though they should have had the imitation crabmeat, I saw absolutely none in my rolls. And that all for 32 dollars, a total waste of a half hour delivery and my money. Two stars for the duck sauce that came with the rolls, and truly I've had worse meat than this beef in the Pick King (at another local hot spot), but I'm also feeling generous.

Very tasty especially on a cold evening after a fun Clemson football game. Masaman curry had all the right ingredients and was just spicy enough. Chicken noodle soup was "one of the best" according to my wife and kids. Crispy tofu appetizer was great.

Delicious Thai food at an affordable price. It pays off to go for lunch - you get much more bang for your buck

The lunch special is such a great deal. The panang and green curries are excellent, and you will never leave hungry! You definitely get your money's worth. The service is fantastic , family-friendly, and eager to please. The amount of spice inn the medium is great for most.

We really enjoy Thaiger. The owners inherited an Arby's, which is in some disrepair. But, the owners are very nice, and produce some good food. Other reviewers have noted the awkwardness of the waitstaff; I don't really see this as a negative, as it doesn't impact the food quality. Regarding the food, we generally do a basil roll at Thai restaurants, but Thaiger's are not good: the cabbage has been old and dry, with too little basil. But, everything else is delectable. The prikh king, multiple curries, several rice dishes, etc - nothing we've had has not been good.

Excellent service, excellent food, and excellent prices. If you come for lunch you get "free" egg rolls and tom ka soup (it is a coconut based soup and is very tasty). The food comes out quickly and hot. The curries and fried rices are all great. The food comes out mild unless you ask for it to be more spicy.

Don't be afraid of the rough exterior, it doesn't effect the food. We've eaten almost everything on the menu and it's all wonderful! My fiancé's favorite dish it pad c u, I haven't found anything I do t like!! The staff are friendly and very helpful with very fast service and healthy portions.

Excellent thai food. Small portions, sometimes way too small. Service is just fine.

I love this place! I have only eaten carryout so I'm speaking strictly for the food, not dine-in service. The interior is nothing to write home about but I don't care. My favorite is the green curry- it is so flavorful and I almost always end up making two meals out of it (though I do normally end up making my own rice for the second time around, small portion there). I've also had red curry and pad thai- both good, but the green curry has yet to be beat. Also- I typically like my food hot hot HOT on the spiciness level and I max out at a "super hot" here. I prefer smack in the middle at "extra hot."

Nice and clean place, good and inexpensive food. Fast service. I tried fried rice and it was delicious. Lunch special includes complementary egg rolls and soup of the day. Eggplant was very good too.

I hate writing less-than-positive reviews, but there are better Thai places, and eating out, even in Clemson, is no longer inexpensive. I came yesterday, June 27, 2015. One guy --presumably a college student-- was waiting tables on Saturday and it started to get busy. Several people were waiting for take out orders and the waiter would disappear for extended periods of time. (He was busy, cooking food, or doing both) Appetizers were $ 4.25 for egg rolls and $4.25 potstickers.. You get three small egg rolls and five pot stickers.. Good, but overpriced in a University town. Cashew chicken looked great, but it has a peculiar after taste. I didn't like the taste of the chicken, but ate the vegetables and the rice. Lemonade was excellent, but you don't come here for a beverage. Two entrees, two non-alcoholic drinks, two appetizers and the bill came to $38 for dinner. I find that rather high in a place that looks like a renovated Arby's. Will I do it again? Yes, but I'll have to come for lunch when the prices are cheaper and give it a second chance. Next time I'll try the PhadThai.

This place is so delicious! It's perfect if you are trying thai food for the first time because they have mild options like fried rice to help ease you into the food. The lunch special is only $6.95 and it includes an all you can eat soup and rolls appetizer! The rolls are so good and the soup is very different but delicious as well.

We love the lunch special! Friendly staff and great food. It may not look impressive but definitely a hidden gem in Clemson. Not very fast service so plan for extra time.

Yummy! The staff is very friendly and helpful if you are not sure what to order. I had a spicy chicken with vegetables( which were cooked perfectly) and it was delicious. The cheese wontons were delicious too!
