I have been here at least 6 times since they opened. The staff is very friendly and the Jerk Chicken, Rice with Peas and plantains are wonderful. I hate to admit it but, I have not made it past the Jerk Chicken because it is soooo good. I plan on trying the curried goat on the next trip. It is off the beaten path but it is worth the effort.

Skyaa's is a new restaurant that has opened in the Cayce area by the railroad tracks. It's pretty much in an isolated place. It's connected to a mini-mart. It's not a place you would normally stop.....unless you knew how amazing the food is! It's a Jamaican Caribbean place with the best island food anywhere around. We've tried many Jamaican restaurants but this one is definitely at the top of my list. The place is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. They do have a full bar set up now. Drinks are very reasonable priced too. For dinner I had Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas, and Mixed Vegetables. It was SO GOOD!!! I cleaned my plate and licked my fingers too. (I know that's rude manners). But the Jerk Chicken is the best I've ever had .... even better than you get in Jamaica. My husband had Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas, and Plantains. His meal was just as wonderful as mine. I got the small platter and he got the large. The food is priced so well. So this place has Great Food, Great Prices, and Reasonably Priced Drinks! There's just nothing I can say negative about the food, restaurant, or service. I hope this place is here to stay permanently!! This is a nice hidden jewel in Columbia. I HIGHLY recommend it if your in the mood for some great food. They do offer some specials on certain nights. 10 wings and 6 beers are $10. Or 10 shrimp and 6 beers are $10. How do you beat those prices? I took some pictures for you to look at. I also took pictures of the menu. Please give this place a try. You'll definitely be coming back!!!

Ordered goat roti and beef patties as a quick take out dinner. The patties were adequate 7/10 (hence the one star). The roti was disappointing it.was.not.roti... They used tortilla skins. Any Caribbean person would know the difference. Not worth 8.99.

Roti really??? For $10? What you get is a cheap flour tortilla and two tablespoons of filling. Coming from the Caribbean, I can say this is definitely not authentic and I will never go back!! Never.

This place is so chill. I just want to hang out there all day and eat plantains. Skyaa's is tucked back in Cayce but it's worth pulling up google maps to find this hidden treasure. It's in a little strip next to a convenience store. The menu isn't super extensive but everything sounds delicious so it will still be difficult to pick something out. After serious thought on the jerk hamburger I ended up going with the small jerk chicken plate with the plantains and rice and peas. The chicken was delicious with a generous helping of jerk flavoring. I'm not one for spicy foods so I was a bit nervous ordering it. There were a couple of bites that caught me off guard but on the whole the flavor was excellent. The rice and peas seemed more like rice and beans and left some of that on the plate. The plantains were phenomenal. I would drive over there just for them. Seriously cooked to perfection. The ambiance is also stellar if you are looking for a casual place to have dinner. They were playing some smooth jams and when Return of the Mack came on everyone started chair dancing so they cranked it up. It was awesome. I'll definitely be back to hang out, nom on all the plantains and check out that jerk hamburger and some of those collards!

It's closed for repairs now. Has been for months. Not sure when it will reopen. I would call before making the trip.

Two weeks in a row this place has not been opened for lunch around 11:00am as stated. I waited 15 minutes outside and the cook invited me in since I drove 30 minutes to get here. Long story short the Goat Curry was pretty good and the rice and peas also were good. But whoever runs this place must know their losing business by not opening on time. It's not the cooks job to wait tables and open the restaurant.

This was my first time going to this place and it won't be my last!!! The food was awesome. I had the jerk chicken and rice and beans and mac and cheese. My Man had oxtail and vegetables and it was incredible. Although the mac and cheese was ok the rest of everything was amazing. The jerk was just right my man said the vegetables was delicious. The oxtail was on point and rice and beans was great also. I even order something to go. You would never know the atmosphere inside from looking outside. This a must spot to go visit. The lady server was awesome as well. Made you feel comfortable. Next time I will try something from the bar but this place I know will soon know me by first name!!!!

Skaa's is breath of fresh air to this Cayce resident! We had our first visit on a Thursday Night, which is all you can eat crab leg night. It was SLAMMED. We had no idea, and just an FYI if you are not going for crab legs, wait a night/day. Service was affected by how busy they were, but if you saw how busy you would have given them a pass as we did. We started with a chicken patty. Much like the Jamaican beef patty, but with chicken instead. I had the Curried Shrimp with collards and peas and rice. My wife had the Jerk Chicken with Mac n' Cheese, and fried plantains. Every bight was delicious. Washing it down with a Red Stripe, made me think I was back on my honeymoon. The soul food sides were to die for. I'd go back and get just a veggie plate if the proteins hadn't been so good! We can't wait to return!
