Let's get down to brass tax here, this place has an outstanding burger called State street. Cooked medium rare as all meat should be in this world. I really enjoyed it with a huge helping of curly fries doused in four monks malt vinegar. The portion was pretty decent and filled this country boy up. My wife said the pulled pork w apple slaw was on the money too. With burgers so damn good I doubt I'll order anything different. Job well done sirs ! The king of Columbia approves.

This is a great place to grab a burger. The atmosphere is good, Gamecock themed and i am a fan. Do wish they had regular or sweet potato fries but they don't offer any. Blue Cowboy burger is my goto.

First time here, one if the best burgers I've ever had. I will be back. Bartender John Bliss was really cool too.

This restaurant has closed. I'm having to write more, so it's long enough to be considered a review. This restaurant no longer serves food or drink. You cannot go in, because the doors are continuously locked.

First time here. Recommended by a student so I thought I would give it a try. Things started off positive with the waitress who seemed to be attentive and who offered us samples of slaw since it was our first visit. We went through the fry options with me mentioning several times that I don't care for curly fries. Once she found out they didn't have shoestrings she offered onion straws as my side. My husband tried the slaw samples and was waiting for her to come back for his decision when the host arrives with our burgers. My son got exactly what he ordered and enjoyed every bite. My burger came with curly fries (see above) with no sign of onion straws. My husband's came with waffle fries...no slaw...which is slightly understandable since she never returned to ask which he preferred! She came by to ask how things were and we mentioned the onion straws. She offered to bring them right out but they never arrived. We paid the bill and not once were the elusive onion straws mentioned. The burger was great. But not worth the drive over there to be lied to and ignored by your waitress.

2018 is a nice neighborhood bar and grill in Cayce, SC. They have a great burger, and I love the raw fry/waffle fries. Good beer selection. Service is generally good. Taco Tuesday isn't bad.

Never heard of cheeseburger soup until I had it tonight at 2108. This is my favorite new concoction!

I have been here 2 times. First time was just ok, nothing to write home about, but not terrible. The bartender was really nice and helpful and the prices were reasonable. But the food was just ok... my boyfriend and I both got tacos and they were so so. But, I went again with my boyfriend and the waitress recommended the 2108 Burger. SO SO GOOD! AMAZING AWESOME! Best burger in Columbia hands down! Also, very reasonable prices and nice cold beer. And the fries are deeeeelicious!! I am going to come back any time I want a good burger. Seriously can't beat it.

This place has everything it takes to be a gem in Cayce. Normally, I wouldn't take the time to write a review, just wouldn't go back. In this case, though, I want to go back. The business plan is great, it's just lacking a little in execution. Fabulous atmosphere, LOVE the decor. It was obviously well planned out. The paintings are amazing. The menu items available, I wanted to try everything! When the food came out, it all looked great, but the taste was disappointing. The Asian salad was completely inedible after pouring on the dressing. The menu said Ginger dressing, but it wasn't. It was bitter and salty while ginger dressing is supposed to be sweet. The only item we ordered that wasn't too salty to eat was the waffle fries. Those were fantastic. The wait staff could also use a little training. We were half-way through our appetizer when we finally had to ask the waitress to check on our beers. Until then, she hadn't even noticed we had nothing to drink. Back off the salt a little, train the wait staff, make sure the bathrooms have TP, and this place will ROCK.

One of these places I was debating giving a 2 or 3 star review. I was here last night with a big group of people. The real only upside to our visit since there was going to be a big group of us, at one point maybe around 45 people, they were able to make a reservation for us in the bar area of the restaurant and the fact that our meals came out pretty quickly for the large amount of people that were in attendance. The waitresses did try as much as they could (for only being two of them helping out our group). As I already mentioned, they did take a reservation for our group. The first downside that I noticed was that they did not have any silverware / napkins set out at tables (which became a problem once food was being served - one girl had gotten through her sandwich and then needed to ask for silverware for the remainder of her meal). Then there were then menus - which everything was photocopied and only hand a half dozen to go around for the group of about 40 that eventually turned out for event. One of them menus I was not sure if it was a once of week special menu and the other one was used all week or what the deal was (the one had more dinner type selections where the day to day one was burgers, tacos, and wings). A gentleman and I had seen that there was a munchie section on the one menu and was planning on getting chips and cheese as an appetizer, but it appeared as if the waitress was trying to deter us at one point from ordering that selection as an appetizer. Looking at the burger selections, I saw that there was a grilled chicken selection and was planning on getting a plain grilled chicken sandwich (looking below where I saw the grilled chicken sandwich - there were varieties of what I though were hamburgers). When it came for me to order(mind you I did not have a menu in front of me at the time). I had mentioned I wanted only a plain grilled chicken sandwich (thinking that was an option). Again, waitress seemed baffled as to what I was trying to order (I had to literally take a menu from someone else at my table to show her what I wanted to order), thinking I wanted to have a specialty burger and use grilled chicken as my meat of choice. Food came out fast, but noticed my chicken sandwich was not warm (but not ice cold either) and did not want to send back for warmer sandwich. I had ordered what I thought was going to be waffle fries, but what appeared was wavy potato chips that were not fully cooked. One person at my table had ordered a side of shrimp, but somehow gotten a shrimp po'boy sandwich instead (which was replaced). Someone else in our group mentioned that their order never came out, and excuse was something along the lines that the cook could not hear due to noise? The one complaint I had about the bathrooms seemed like there was no heat in there - and it was almost as cold in there as it was outside. Only other thing that was not working was the karaoke machine. The songs were skipping around. Food- and service wise --- maybe things would be better if I was there with a smaller group of people - there was a dining area that was not connected with the bar.

Taco Tuesday is so good. I like their selection of tacos and I always enjoy how nice the staff is. It's a very relaxed environment and I enjoy the my time there.

We have eaten here multiple times in the past several months. The atmosphere is not fancy but the food is delicious. We love the blue pimento cheese and have never been disappointed at any of the burgers. The service had always been fine and the specials we have gotten have all been great. You can't beat the prices, either!

Great place for dinner. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Loved the collard egg rolls and I hate collards. We've eaten there 4 times since December and have never been disappointed.

Went in for a late lunch on a Saturday at 3:00. The place looked fairly inviting. Plenty of space, with a pretty open floor plan. No waitress/hostess so we seated ourselves. One member of our party flagged down the bar tender since he seemed to be the only one working. He was very friendly and new the beer list on draft well. This was helpful seeing there apparently no drink list/menus. For reference the place was slow, especially in the seating area. There was approximately 3 tables seated and 10 or 12 people at the bar. After one beer the bartender came back over to check on us. We ordered one more beer and he went a grabbed a couple menus so we could order. Within a couple sips he politely stopped by through to take our order. I ordered a Cheeseburger with waffle fries no bacon. Its currently about 3:20. This is where things go down hill. At this point we are the only patrons i can see seated in the entire place with the same 10 or so at the bar. 45 minutes go by, still no food. Now around 4:00. At this time we again flagged down the bar tender to see if he would check on our food. He stated they only had one cook today and he's a little slow. The entire time mind you a member of our party has been to this place many times and pointed out the owner, the owners wife, and there children wandering around the bar and chatting with customers at the bar. Never once checking on our table just to see if we needed anything. Finally 20 minutes later our food arrives! JOY right!? Wrong! Now the time is 4:25. I look, starving. Down at my plate, looking ever so excited to try the long awaited cheeseburger and stare in horror at a fried chicken sandwich smothered in bacon! At the point I'm done with this horribly mismanaged establishment. 10 minutes later i finally flag down the busy bartender since he is apparently the only one working. I could tell how embarrassed he was and felt bad for him. I told him to bring my check for the beers and forget the food. Moral of the story you ask? DIve bar with friendly bartender. Come only for a drink and forget the food. Don't come hungry. Horrendous service.
