Less than average sandwiches. Nothing special. Very slow service. I had the White Moose turkey sandwich. This place might be more meaningful to locals but if you're driving thru looking for a good quick meal, keep driving.

Came here passing through town on a recent trip. Great sandwiches with a good atmosphere. The people are nice and go out of their way to help. The chicken breast is extremely moist and tastes great. The corned beef was very good also.

Too bad I can't leave no stars. Anyway, I never review things on yelp. I just don't have the time. However, I travel for work and eat hundreds of meals out a year. Grouchos was such a disappointing experience, it motivated me to write this review. We went their for lunch and one of their mumbling employees seated us and presented us with a series of inaudible questions. After a bit of "what did you say?" back and forth we got our order in, which consisted of two sandwiches and what can be described as a salad with cold meat on it. This took almost 20 minutes for them to prepare! For the sandwich, I couldn't choke down the bread as it was super hard, so I just ate the meat. In all fairness, the meat was good. However I ordered a sandwich not a slab of meat. The sandwich was so dry, I put it in my hand and crushed it and it crumbled into a million pieces. For the salad, the lettuce was disgusting (looked like old cheap salad from a grocery store). And it had shaved cold meat on top. Disgusting! For the money I would recommend kfc or bojangles or McDonald's at the same exit. That's how bad this was. Oh and for the record, they didn't care to even ask about how it was. And the bread comes out of a bag, which is why is isn't that fresh! Proceed with caution and tums...

Food was good for the kitchen consisting of a microwave and a fridge. I was really hungry and this is not the place to go. We went on a Saturday afternoon and the service was slow, we were the only table in the place so it was something else. Maybe they were short on staff, staff was new or high. The food was good as any Grouchos, I just needed more than a sandwich, a bag of lays and a pickle spear. I should mention that we had to go into the kitchen to get our own refills. Maybe this is why the place was empty.

My husband & I I love Groucho's. We're from SC & went to USC so it's like religion for us. We make it a point to find a Groucho's when we're in SC. Driving back to our home state today we stopped at this location for lunch. Turned around & left. One bathroom was out of order, understandable, but the other had not been cleaned in days--they had just opened and it was in terrible shape. The toilet was absolutely filthy. Paper towels all over the floor, trash can full, sink a mess. 4 employees standing around & only one other party in the place. Obvious neglect for cleanliness. If the bathroom looks like this, what's the kitchen look like? Yuck. I'll pass.

I'm from buffalo, ny. On our way back from a trip we stopped here based on the reviews. The sandwich was good but not great.

20 some odd states, 50 cities and 11,100 miles into a fairly epic road trip I stumbled upon Groucho's. I had been convinced the sandwiches I'd eaten in NY and Boston were probably going to be the best of the trip, but I was way wrong. Blythewood can now lay claim to having the best sandwiches in the country as far as I'm concerned. Turkey Blt w formula 45 sauce fukkin' rocked. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had.

Food is good. Prefer the one on Forest Drive though. Not sure but it just tastes different!

I had read previous reviews, and was skeptical going in. The service was good, food was good, and priced fair. The guy I ate with eats there twice a week.
