As usual, the service was great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was charming. Jennifer, our server, was her usual best. It is always a pleasure to bring friends to Orobellos because we know they will always leave satisfied.

Mighty Fine Pizza Based on the delicious pizza, I think it would be fair to extrapolate that the other foods offered by this restaurant would be quite good. Our only experience with their offerings is a La Carne pizza, sans the pulled pork and pepperoni, ordering extra cheese. We carried out and when we got back to the motel room, the pie didn't appear to have the extra cheese we had requested; nonetheless, it was a very, very good pizza. Our only interaction with staff was at the front desk; all were eager to please and friendly. Date of Visit: 21Mar14

Great little place! Looks can be deceiving so don't let the strip mall location scare you away. We started off with the ricotta and mozzarella fritters. Really good the balsamic honey drizzle was awesome. My wife got the 3 cheese ravioli and it was very good. I tried the sausage and peppers over polenta. It was very good. The sauce was very authentic and this is coming form an Italian! We also checked in via yelp and got a free tiramisu... Awesome! Great place, good food, good service.

Very cute place! If you order the spaghetti meatballs, stick with red sauce vs upgrading to bolognese sauce. Way too much meat! (Not a bad thing, obvs, just a heads up.) The lasagna is yummy! Complimentary bread was outstanding

The food is great! Pizza, pasta, sandwich, salads all of it is yummy. The wait staff is super friendly and the food comes out pretty quick. Their bread is really good, too. Only downfall is its a little tight and if they're busy it's a little crowded feeling.

If you want really good pizza and fine service, look no further . Our group had three types of pizza, salad and garlic bread. The garlic bread and salad was well above average as well. Highly recommended. Update, went back, still good but consistency is an issue.

Sometimes I read a good or great review and go to the restaurant only to be really disappointed. That's exactly the case with Orobello's! It's average at best. Service was terrible. We never received our drinks until we asked for them AFTER our meal arrived. At the same time we asked for bread. Our bread arrived as we finished the meal. The bread...I see a lot of positive comments about the bread. Again, the garlic bread is average at best. Either something has changed dramatically, this was our first visit, or the other reviewers are friends of the owners!

Great service, quaint environment, and good food. Had the Italian Dip with Parmesan Fries and it was great. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it didn't have a bar area where I can sit as a single, when it's busy.

Atmosphere was charming, quiet little spot, we did the build-a-pie the pizza was good; there was only one person doing the hostess job and the waitress job that was a little hectic but she did a great job.

Eh... Let's see. The service was really good. Our glasses were always full, and we were checked on frequently! Now as for the food... Was a little disappointed that for what you pay, there are no salads or bread with the meals. How can you have a real Italian meal without bread and or salad?? The meals were ok quality. Nothing great but, wasn't garbage either.

Stopped in on a Monday night and was seated immediately. The place is clean and the service was top notch. I ordered a "build your own" pizza, and all the fundamental elements of the pizza were perfect....great crust, sauce was Good and the toppings tastes fresh. While a little off the main thorough fare, this place is definitely worth a try.

Best lasagna I've ever had... and I'm not generally one to rave about lasagna. The pasta and sauces are all made fresh and they're amazing. Among the best Italian I've ever had. Highly recommend the frittas as an appetizer.

Very good pizza. Light fresh flavors. However the floors and chairs were dirty and dusty. The waiters need to clean up better. Impressions are everything when food handling is involved.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
