Their salted caramel ice cream is the best and most popular item however when I tried it I didn't really care for it. It was good but I think I've had better. We just got ice cream and I got myself a salted chocolate pretzel. The guy working here was so nice and let me have multiple samples of the ice cream. Ice cream flavors were good, they also have a nice counter filled with fudge, chocolates and all sorts of yummy things. Prices were okay but service was good. The guy helping us was really nice. The 2 other girls who were also behind the counter should have asked me for assistance but they just stared at me and were too busy talking amongst themselves. I would have bought more chocolate if they would have taken the time to help me. Overall good spot to just chill out and have some ice cream.

Incredible ice cream, fudge and caramel apples. We went twice while on our HH trip. Line was pretty long on a Thursday night, but we took it as a good sign that it would be good.

Bought some fudge had a bite - pulled back the paper further to find a CURLY BLACK hair (see photo). Complained to Kilwins and was contacted by the rude female manager there.......4 days later! I was told I had to bring the slice back in to get a refund! Now why in the world would I keep a hairy piece of fudge for that long? Also, why do I need to inconvenience myself and go down there? I told her I have a picture of the fudge but I am not going down there for a little refund. There was NO APOLOGY from her either. Bad customer service and obviously the place is unsanitary - so gross! Oh and for all you people that think this is a "mom & pop" shop it's NOT - Kilwin's is a large chain and this store is just another franchise.

The chocolates and ice cream are fantastic. There is a good selection, but they are pricy. For two small scoops, it cost right at $4. The family with two kids in front of us paid over $25.

The salted caramel ice cream is the best I've ever had. I'm from Cincinnati, and am loyal to Graeters black raspberry chip, but tis beats it hands down. Do yourself a favor and go.

The ice cream was good and it's homemade, but a bit expensive. (Around $8 for two ice creams) Tried to Pistachio & Salted Caramel which was good. The service was ok. One lady wasn't too friendly. A customer told me that I can sample all the flavors and the lady worker said we only give 3 free samples then we're going to charge. I know she was half joking as her tone wasn't too friendly. The shop smells nice though.

YUM! This place had really nice chocolate and ice cream and candy. It was expensive, but I expected as much on Hilton Head Island. the ice cream was really refreshing on the warm summer's day. I would go again.

Sooo good and the staff was so kind. My son got the cherry which was really good. I had "Kilwin's" flavor ice cream which was a vanilla with chocolate fudge pieces. Amazing. My husband had the "hilton head" flavor with caramel and chocolate. Also great. The cone was perfect!!

Awesome! So tasty. I had the lemon sorbetto, my husband had cake batter ice cream, our son had rainbow. All were some of the best I've tasted. The cake batter was especially sinful.

I seriously don't know how I got ice cream into me after all of those crab legs but I DID. A mom and pop looking joint with a great selection of ice cream, fudge, cookies, and candy. I got my favorite 2 scoops of cookies and cream on a waffle cone ahh good stuff. I guess on certain days you can actually watch them make the fudge which is kind of cool. It was a cool treat to end a very hot day.

Super friendly staff welcomed me as soon as I walked through the door with an announcement that their pecan brittle (which makes an excellent gift) was just made and they were working on another batch of fudge. The ice cream is delicious. Waffle cones were fresh (see a pattern?). A good mix of original and unique flavors. This is the place I would come back to for ice cream in Hilton Head!

Score again! I have been racking up the dessert discoveries on this trip. Gotta love it when they are creative with ice cream. This place, unlike Hilton Head Ice Cream, has many chocolate creations, about twice as many than the usual ice cream shop. The ice creams are Kilwin's original recipe. I had a banana ice cream with chocolate chunks in it and peanut butter and chocolate ice cream as well. The also have fudge, truffles and many other creations! Luckily for me, they are based in Michigan so I should be able to find one closer to me than S. Carolina!

We stopped in here to buy some treats for our friends and family, and I am really glad we did! They were busy making fudge when we walked in, and it smelled so good that I had to buy some. (My mom loved it!) They gave us samples of the pecan brittle which was wonderfully salty and sweet. (We got that too.) The ice cream looked so good, that I ordered a scoop of that as well. Toasted coconut- yum! Stop in if you're in Hilton Head!
