This is one of my FAVORITE places to eat! The owners are awesome people who make you feel welcome and appreciated. The waiters/waitresses are friendly and helpful! You will not want for anything whether you dine in or get take away! The patty melt is my guilty pleasure-a lunchtime favorite! The food is awesome and well priced. I've been eating here for years and never been disappointed! Wonderful family oriented restaurant! Check 'em out!

A nearly hidden location on the outskirts of Belton's Main Street, a nice old brick facade gives way to a spartan but stylishly decorated interior complete with bundles of coca cola memorabilia and Americana. You order at the counter or there is also wait service available. They bring the food to you. I had a chicken patty melt and it was honestly the best I've had in my life. Very thick, fully cooked, white meat chicken breast with a good smattering of carmelized onions and cheese on a nice texas toast style bread. Very filling for the price.

Honestly, I have lived in Belton for almost 4 years now and NEVER knew this place was open! I decided to look on Yelp fit some "different" local restaurants. Pete's came up. I decided to see if it was open anyway. To my surprise, it was. I was greeted at the counter with my children! The lady and man there seemed helpful. The man walked into the kitchen area and I took a peak! Stainless steel was shining as far as I could see! There wasn't any food particles all over the floor. I was impressed. After I ordered, which was at a great price, we sat down. Food was brought to us piping hot! We ate and enjoyed our meal. At that point I decided that Pete's would be one of our family restaurants to visit frequently. Great prices! Great food! Great atmosphere!

This place is the heartbeat of Belton for lunch. Go by and see Pete, Maria and their crew for some great food. Lunch specials for $5 and $6, including a drink!!
