We had a business function at The Bleckley, across the parking lot behind the Mellow Mushroom and decided to order lunch in. I walked our order over to the Mushroom - eight people, wide variety of selections. We dealt with Travis who agreed to deliver... even though I don't think that is a service they are set up to manage. Everyone loved their various small pizzas, sandwiches, and salads - of course sweet tea to drink all around. The place is cute, has a lot of room inside and multiple levels of seating to choose from. The Mushroom gets a huge thumbs up from our whole crew! Great lunch - fresh and flavorful!

Mellow Mushroom is exactly what you'd expect from a speciality pizza place. Mellow Mushroom's decor is a funky psychedelic vibe and the atmosphere is fun! The pizza at this location is on par with the food I've had at other MM locations. We had the Maui Wowie and enjoyed it. Get it with a side of ranch! The waitress (listed as Annie on the receipt) pushed this review to 4 stars. She was great! If you love pizza, it's definitely worth the visit! On a side note, the location in downtown Anderson provides a cute main street with fun shops and other eateries. Enjoy your visit!

If you like short shorts this may be the place for you. Nearly every female server was sporting short shorts....maybe that's the new uniform? The pizza was fine. We constructed our own with pineapple, bacon and the usual sauce and mozzarella cheese. It was after 6 on Friday night and there was no wait when we arrived but it soon filled up. If there was any music, I couldnt hear it. The noise level was quite high. It is one big room with the kitchen somewhat open to the resaurant. It took a little while to gain our servers attention to get the bill. Overall OK experience. I will go back but not this month.

Good pizza but it took forever!!! We went on a Thursday and it wasnt busy at all. We saw alot of servers more worried about finishing up side work then doing there job. There was a blond server that was amazing, but unfortunately not our server. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure I could make pizza faster by my self then all the kitchen staff combined.

Disappointed. Tiny little place and way way too loud. 1:00 on a Friday afternoon should not have taken so long to get our food. The waitress was nice but hard to catch. The food as always at Mellow Mushroom was great. This is the closest to our house, I hate it that it wasn't better.

Awesome place! So friendly, right downtown on the square. The owner is in house. He came over and talked to us. I had the kosmic karma pizza. Feta and mozzarella, pesto, tomato, sundried tomato, spinach all on top of a thin crust. So delicious! The place is very festive and really fun. Live music is setting up to start for a fun Friday night. I live in AZ and just found out they have three in Phx and one in Tempe. I must try them. Highly recommend. They have hoagies and muffalatta sandwiches too.

Great pizza all the way! Fresh & all natural ingredients added to their in house made spring water crust make for a uniquely tastey pie! Took my kids for Sunday lunch and we all enjoyed it very much. Ordered some wings and two medium pies for the four of us and still had leftovers to take home. The service was prompt, polite and efficient. Our waitress took great care of us and checked on us regularly. The only reason this place isn't getting 5 stars is the price... $65 with tax and tip for 4 sodas, 6 wings & 2 medium specialty pizzas is a bit much !!! Worth the occasional splurge for the food, just make sure you bring your wallet!

This place only gets two stars because of their beer selection. Otherwise, they'd get none. The pizza is decent, but there are much better local places for pizza. Service is always terrible. My husband and I visited one night and could hardly enjoy our beer at the bar thanks to the bartender making out with his girlfriend and taking personal calls at the bar. Service is always super slow and the management is unapologetic at best. We won't go back.

This is my favorite pizza place. We usually start off sharing a small Greek salad while our pizza is cooking. We've had good service from the staff even when the place is very busy. Our favorite item is the House Special pizza minus the tomatoes - I like my tomatoes either raw or in a soup or sauce. We've had several good meals here.

Great place! Our bartender/server DJ did a great job. He was attentive, friendly and a comedian! We had a great time. The pizza was amazing and the happy hour specials were very good! We are just in town for a basketball game but if we come back through Anderson, we will definitely stop in!

I have always sung the praises of this MM...not this time. I ordered my usual... Tempeh Hoagie on wheat. When the girl brought it to the table, it was missing the signature sprouts on top. Seriously? I mean, it's one thing to be out of an ingredient...it happens. But don't just bring me a sandwich that's MISSING an ingredient and flop it down in front of me like I'm not gonna notice! Would you serve me a pizza sans mozzerella cheese??? ESPECIALLY without even telling me about it??? Let's get this straight. Shit happens. Restaurants run out of stuff. But have the damned courtesy to come back to my table and TELL me you are out of a certain ingredient on my sandwich so I can make an informed decision as to whether or not I would like to proceed with that order or make another selection. Get it? It's called protocol, or courtesy, or common damned sense. Whatever the case, don't just assume that I am okay with a product you are serving me that does not have all the ingredients. It matters.Think it doesn't? Try making a cake and leave out the baking powder. Dumbasses.

This is a must! Besides the pizza being the bomb, the complete ambiance will have you coming back sooner then you think ;)
