Fauci's has catered many functions at my workplace and the food has always been delicious. I am very fond of their tortellini salad and the homemade cookies are to die for! I was especially moved to write this review today as I just finished stuffing my face at my company's annual Christmas luncheon (that just so happened to be catered by Fauci's). Everything was very tasty. We had a huge assortment of dishes delivered, including lasagna, chicken francaise, risotto cheese balls, even veal and peas (to name a few). Our luncheon was catered by Luigi's in Johnston last year and although both places have great Italian food, Fauci's catering today was better than Luigi's at last year's luncheon. My coworkers agreed. I am continuously impressed by Fauci's and would certainly recommend them. The owner actually arrived yesterday to drop off some supplies for the luncheon in advance and was very nice and courteous (it seems to me that the ill mannered person mentioned in the other reviews must be somebody else). If the deli doesn't seem to suit your needs, give the catering a try, you will not be disappointed.

Quick stop for something warm while car being serviced and enjoyed a cup of excellent chicken soup loaded w/meat, carrots and mini shell pasta which were not soggy/overcooked. Spic and span eating area and restroom--perfect spot for quick lunch/sandwich or baked goods. WiFi works here too.

I've been going to Fauci's for a while. The food here is good for lunch, they have good pasta's and sandwiches too choose from. Yes, the customer service is meh from two of the people that work there but the rest of the people that have helped me have been super sweet. I went in today and there was no one in there and the person working the register was reading the paper and as soon as I came in she came over to help. I say this place is a great alternative to D'Anelgo's for lunch and its not super pricey.

I've been going to Fauci's about once a week now for the last couple months. There is one lady that works here that always has a scowl on her face and seem like she is pissed that I even come in. A couple other ladies are similar but not AS ANGRY. The older lady is little slower than the other women that work here but she is an absolute doll. She always makes me feel like she appreciates my business. Unfortunately, the other women are ruining that. After the awful attitude I got today, I doubt that I will go back.

I am giving this place a rating of 2 stars because they do not have the best customer service. The food is ok, prices are not too high for what you are paying for. They have good lunch options for sandwiches, salads And a nice deli case full of pre-made items. Some desserts/breakfast pastries too.

Whatever you do, do NOT go here. They are so mean and always shrug you off when you come in to give them business. If you ask for something not on the menu they act like it's the biggest deal ever and get super upset. Another reason not to go, I found a HAIR in my pasta salad. I was so disgusted and threw it away. Stay away from this place if you can. Gross!

I have never had a bad meal here. The sandwiches are always delish and so are the homemade desserts.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
