I think I might be a terrible person. I must be, based on the service I received at this Denny's. Our server, whose name I've decided to redact from memory, was just two steps shy of being the worst. My friend and I sat down and she came over with a generally unpleasant demeanour. And when she was taking our orders, her demeanour did not change. She took my order with an especially unpleasant affectation. Getting her attention during was not impossible but definitely wasn't something I wanted to do. The food was good enough, my friend having some pancakes and sausages and me having some other miscellaneous selection that escapes my memory currently (that's how good enough it was). The atmosphere is very...American. When we sat there, it had that feeling of old school diner fair. And that was only solidified by the almost uniform clientele. Would I recommend? I guess, yeah, if you are into Denny's, have some vendetta against IHOP, or refuse to patronise a local diner (which I'd recommend vs. coming to a chain)

If your in the mood for breakfast at any hour of the day then you go to Denny's. It's open late night and offers breakfast even at 11 at night. It's great for those after party places if you have a craving for some breakfast with friends. I went with some friends a while back and we had a great time. To food was perfect greatly priced and a great place for friends to go.

I go there with my kids every few weeks and always enjoy the food and the service. Erin is exceptionally great and always takes care of us. We like everything we've tried so far.

Terribly slow service, side door is being opened and closed flooding the restaurant with freezing cold air. Waitress singing in an annoying fashion. Just a miserable sitting experience. Good was good but we'll never return.

I went there for lunch and was told "you must order your burger well done" somehow they forget the famous motto "The CUSTOMER is ALWAYS RIGHT", what gives any restaurant the right to tell the PAYING CUSTOMER to eat what they want you to eat personally I will NEVER eat shoeleather so with that being said I will NEVER eat lunch there

Yesterday night seeing how late it was , and the size of the group we decided , hey! Why not Denny's ? Glad we came! Our waiter Bristol was attentive , friendly and remembered our orders without any trouble. Let me remind you, we were a group of 9. Our food was delicious and came out fast. Everyone enjoyed the meals and were full to the point our pants were ready to pop. The Oreo blaster milkshakes are just so creamy, and full of real Icecream and many crushed Oreos! Just drank the whole thing so quickly. Denny's never will let me down! Things are group got: hamburger w/French fries, tilapia w/ garlic bread and red skin potatoes, sirloin steak w/rice , potatoes and garlic bread, the T-bone steak breakfast comes with the T-bone steak , eggs, potatoes and bacon, the next meal was a double hamburger(the hamburger was huge, the double was ginormous!) comes with fries, pancakes, French toast breakfast comes with eggs, bacon potatoes and French toast, the next meal was fajitas (can't recall what kind they were), and then someone got chocolate chip pancakes. And everyone got Oreo blaster milkshakes!!! Food and atmosphere was amazing! Always coming back!!! (Sorry for no pictures couldn't hold off long enough to take it).

Have the most hipsters of hipsters sitting next to us WHICH might of judged my review a little. I really wish you could hear the idiocrcy spewing from this table. We had to wave down our waitress to get hot sauce...the table next to us had to borrow it from us. I legitimately just lost about 353 brain cells listening to these morons conversations about white cheese sauce. My god.

Our waitress was good she was running around all morning. But there was a hair in my meal so they re made it and when I got home there was the same kind of hair in the second one too. Never going back.

Simple put it is what you would expect from a Denny's. Except for the service, our waitress seemed distracted and did not come by once after the food was brought to ask if we needed anything. Had to ask for a refill for coffee twice since it took her 10min to come back. Pancakes were very good.

Best Denny's east of the Mississippi. I can see why people might not like this Denny's. it's smaller than usual, but the diner decor makes up for it. We went on a busy Saturday morning and the place was hopping. Despite the crowd, we were still greeted with a smile and seated promptly. Our waitress, while not a bundle of fun, was polite and efficient. Even Though we ordered copious amounts of breakfast food, it was out in a flash. The food, well, its Denny's. Everything was a-ok. Refills were on the spot, the pace wasn't rushed, the price was right, and everything ran like clockwork. I can see how it might get dicey in here at late night and the parking kind of sucks when it's crowded. These folks do right by the proud Denny's name!

Food is always warm! My cousin and i come here all the time for quesidillas and occasionally hush puppies... When the hush puppies get to the table all you hear is "hush " because we are too busy enjoying our 1.99 hush puppies :) So good! Nom nom nom!

For a Denny's, it is okay. For Rhode Island, not so much. While the food was okay, it was a bit over priced. I had one of their slams. The bacon was paper thin. The eggs were cooked to order and the sausage was the kind that was already cooked, they just needed to heat them up. The service was a bit slow. I sat at the counter, which in most cases in RI is a good thing. In this case, not so much. I went in on Veterans day, and while I am a veteran I was not looking to take advantage of the Free Breakfast advertised. But this is the story. 1) The advertisement had been on TV for several weeks 2) This is not a corporate owned Denny's so they are not obligated the advertisement (which I am fine with, but put a sign on the door) 3) They did tell the veterans that they were not obligated when the vet presented the bill and let them know. Then they made it a point that they would go out of their way, even thought they did not have to, to give the vet a $5.00 and some change break on his bill. I was embarrassed for the 10+ veterans that were humiliated in public by a bunch of young ladies behind a counter that were probably not more than 25 years old. It was a sad thing to see. It was unprofessional, it was load and down right disgusting. I for one will never go here again. But the great thing about Rhode Island, is you dont have to.

Mayhem and pancakes? Yes, please. Late night dining isn't really complete unless you have a State Trooper watching the doors. This place, in this case, has it all. I have to say that I actually like Denny's which is weird for me. I hate iHop and Bickfords, but Denny's. You are alright by me. The service was quick, the server fairly nice. The prices? Perfect. Almost everybody here is suffering from some kind of munchies when you arrive once the bars have let out. It's not a bad thing. Once prepared.

For some odd reason I had a craving for Denny's today. Of all my childhood memories of going to Florida on vacation in my mom's conversion van, Denny's always seems to stick out. Please note that I expected much worse to happen today. I walked in and the place was packed (Saturday at 12). I was by myself, so I made my way to the counter. It took 5 minutes to get acknowledged by the host who got me my coffee within 20 seconds. The waitress came by eventually and asked if I was ready to order. She had looked she was on the last hour of her double, but was up 5 hours before her shift. I told her I needed more time to look at the menu, and just as I'd thought, she forgot about me. She came back about 7 mins later to take my order, and I ordered a Grand Slamwich (eggs, ham, sausage, cheese, maple butter on potato bread toast), which I was impressed to try! This is the type of food concoction that I live for! In addition to the insane sandwich, I ordered the chocolate chip pancake puppies. They are like Johnny cakes or clam cakes without the clams, dusted with cinnamon an sugar (so doughboy balls with chocolate chips?). The incompetent waitress walks back 10 seconds later and asked me what kind of pancake puppies I ordered. (sigh) I got the pancake puppies and they were so much better than I remembered... soft, moist, chocolately, sweet. They came with a small serving of sweetened peanut butter, but the peanut butter doesn't really make them any better. I got my Slamwich and it looked as good as I thought it would! It came with an order of hash browns... My fav. I gobbled up the hash browns before you could say the word delicious, and then I finally made my way to the Slamwich and I burned my mouth. Lol. I really can't complain about that, my own fault. Anyways, the sandwich was good. It has a subtle maple flavor and reminds me of the legendary Monte Cristo sandwich. If the bread was French toasted, this would be bar none, the best breakfast sandwich ever created, but then it might as well be called a Monte Cristo. I was unable to finish my food, so I packed it to go and had a fantastic lunch. Aside from the poor service, I didn't mind my visit at Denny's today, and I'd go back again... Especially for the pancake puppies!

Tonight my wife & I went to the Denny's for breakfast. The restaurant was very clean, brightly lit & we were seated instantly. The food came out very quickly as well. Unfortunately the positive experience ended there. Our waiter took our order without any introduction & lacked any skill expected from a person in his position. My wife ordered the Santa Fe Skillet & I had ordered the Chicken Avocado Sandwich with two eggs on the side. The Santa Fe looked to be a good portion size. It was over cooked, the veggies were shriveled to the point of being almost unidentifiable. The potatoes were dry & seemed to be drenched in spice. I love spicy food, this was a bit much though. The Chicken Avocado Sandwich tasted good. The portion size ranked right up there with a kids happy meal sandwich. As soon as I came home, I made some eggs with 3 slices of turkey bacon in hopes to quiet the rumble in my stomach. I didn't speak to a manager regarding my issues in fear that my replacement meal would be tampered with. The $25.00 spent on breakfast won't bankrupt me by any means. I just feel like it was a really bad investment. This was my first & will be my last visit to this establishment. Truly Disappointed.

Do not normally eat Dennys but had a craving probably because I was pregnant. Waited at the front with my daughter for a min or two before someone greeted us. When you are pregnant and hungry that is FOREVER. Food was good took awhile to get to the table. They were stingy with the syrup. Oh and I ordered an extra side of hashbrowns and only got the first order. The server knew I was going to notice and as soon as she sat the plate down said I was told this was a double order. I have eaten at dennys enough to know what a regular side is so why do you think I asked for a double... Duh... Ugh and of course I got charged for the side I did not get.

Food was good. Served hot, and quickly. Table was not set for 3 people after we were seated (there was 3 of us). Waiter was not rude, but wasn't as friendly as what would be expected at Denny's.

Denny's has its late night charm, it truly is the only place open in the Warwick area 24 hours that I know of. Food is normally spot on. I went there last night after some drinks and the french toast was delicious. When you go to Denny's at 2am 90% of the patrons there are under the influence of something. That being said it is normally a pretty crazy place at night. Severs there are normally pretty nice but the guy we had last night was a bit off. He did an ok job but had no personality what so ever and answered everything with yup. Being personable goes a long way for me. I understand what they must put up with in there on a Friday night but still come on guy I'm being very polite with my please and thank yous you can try a little harder. All of that aside we did not have to wait for a table which was a plus, food order was taken in a timely manner and food came to my table quickly, it was hot and just what I was craving after a night out. It is a chain diner, nothing overly fancy but it gets the job done. I wouldn't really go out of my way to go there however it is a great stand by when you need a local late night to early morning meal. T hey serve all sorts of bad for you diner food not just breakfast so you have options and variety is the spice of life. So go out, get drunk, sober up at Denny's that is what they are good at and good for.

We were in the area so we decided to give Denny's a try for breakfast. The restaurant is very clean, plenty of seating, and extremely friendly and fast service. The food on the other hand is terrible, it tasted like our breakfasts were precooked, sitting in a pan for hours and just scooped on a plate! Coffee was some of the worst I have ever had, almost a burnt flavor. There are too many local Mom & Pop diners to waste your time on this place.

I was just there on Tuesday, Nov. 17th . I have had better! The food was ok, service SUCKED! 1 waitress took our drink order, in the 2-3 minutes she was gone, she forgot whom ordered what.... I know that coffee, diet coke and an apple juice are really tough items :) She then took our food order, and balked at my friend for only ordering eggs and hash browns. I also added an order of bacon that was never brought to me, another waitress brought our food to use, and again we were asked who ordered what! We were never asked how our meal was. There were 8 wait staff on, trust me I counted! You think they could have all done a better job!?!?!?!?!?

Wow. I never thought i would say this, but this place was great. A grand slam?? While once a phrase that was a foreign language to me...it is now music to my ears. Pick four of any of the foods for only 5.99 Quick, reliable, basic but delicious. My only gripe is the standard clientele. It was a little shady in there. Many out of state elderly folks with their oxygen tanks in tow, several folks who were having a hard time paying their bills ( one tried to use their bank card and ended up paying in change.). But if you put your order in....squeeze your eyes shut really hard and just try to enjoy the classic oldies music- your food will soon be out and it will be good.

So we decided to go here because I woke up wanting French Toast. Got there about 3 pm greeted and seated by 3:05 by Shaina. She was good she paid attention gave us time a delivered the drinks ( apple Juice lol ) nice and cold! We needed more time for our choice because there was so much on the menus! That's a good thing lol! It is because the me Fantastic movie came out on Friday Today is Tuesday the 11th of August. The created like 4 new dishes favoring the movie! That was awesome to see! So I got my French Toast and The American Slam! It was delicious!! Yep came out nice and hot and went down very fast lol! They don't have any flavored coffee so that is a bummer, but it's all good!!! Shaina is good and is very attentive. Place was semi packed but good delivery was prompt and piping hot! This place has about 85% metal look from the outside with a diner style look on the inside!!! Thumbs up!!

I have never, ever visited a Denny's before. Truthfully, the major reason I didn't was the poser - exterior... Not really a retro diner. It's a new construction building meant to look like a retro diner. What got me in the door was free kid's meals on Tuesdays... I have three small mouths to feed and they love to go out to eat. But that always seems to rack up the bill on food that never gets eaten half the time. I figure if you're going to order kids meals but they're not going to eat them, what a concept it would be for them to be free. Don't get me wrong. I'm not in the habit of wasting food. But if you have kids you know exactly what I'm talking about. They beg to go out to dinner only to leave the dinner that they've begged to have sitting on the plate. Usually five to eight dollars later. Every child under the age of 12 gets a free meal as long as one adult pays at least four dollars for dinner. Thats right.Only one adult dinner. Is the food outstanding? No. But it is solidly above average. We stick with breakfast for dinner. Kids get the Grand Slam breakfast -Junior of course. I get the eggs with biscuits and sausage gravy with home fries. I love to have my eggs poached. But do yourself a favor and don't get that here...the poached egg, that is. They can't poach an egg to save their lives. And surprisingly, the kids eat their entire meals here. If you can stick with the program and not order a lot of extras, you can walk out of here with a bill less than $8 on a Tuesday with one adult dining. Do your server a favor and tip on the full amount that it would be had you paid for the kids meals. Don't know if I would come here if I weren't getting some free grub for the little guys, but its a solid Tuesday night option for me.

Good Denny's! Hot food, quick service. They actually allowed us to sit with the rest of the populace, unlike all the other iHops and Denny's not in NY where they seat us in the "colored seating" (TRUE STORY). If you find that last sentence offensive, you've never been discriminated. The point is, there was smooth sailing and good eating at this Denny's. Nice Classic / Silver look to the diner. I had nachos with a cherry limeade, and the boys had Grand Slams, everyone enjoyed their meal and our waitress wasn't OUTRAGEOUSLY friendly but accomodating.
