Great food and service terrible managment. Just as I had finished my work and started to decompressed two managers come right in front of my table and complained about the problems of the night and my server! Then she told her to go home right in front of me!!! I go out to relax not hear petty gossip. Major turn off...unimpressed.

Went here for restaurant week with my boyfriend, and A++ all around! The service was amazing. I wish I remembered our servers name because he was outstanding. I ordered the bbq salmon and my boyfriend ordered the twin filet. Both meals were superb. Their wine list is great, and even does recommended pairings for what meal you are having. It's the little things that made this restaurant special. The waiter noticed my boyfriend and I passing cards, and he asked what the occasion was. It really wasn't an occasion, we just wanted a nice dinner & exchanged "love" cards (something corny we do!) and the waiter brought us over chocolates anyways just because! Such a sweet way to tell your customers how much you appreciate them. Seriously, the service here was amazing. Even when we packed up and were walking out of the restaurant, we passed about 4 workers and they ALL acknowledged us and wished us a great night. I can't say enough how welcoming the staff is at this place. I will definitely be back to this restaurant, as their food and service was the best I've experienced in a long time. Thank you Fleming's for an amazing date night in the city!

Had dinner with my parents at the place, I had ribeye, my mom had fillet mignon and my dad had sea bass. It's so nice and the side mushroom is awesome. The mashed potatoes is awesome too. Great restaurant! But a bit expensive.

My all time favorite restaurant . Food always cooked perfectly , service always exceptional . If you want to be treated like a king and enjoy the best steak around stop in and have dinner .

The customer service here was far beyond superb. Every item my husband and I ordered was perfection. The prime rib was cooked just right. The swordfish was tender and perfectly seasoned. The jumbo lump crab cakes were the best crab cakes I've ever had. My favorite items were definitely the jumbo lump crab cakes and the Fleming's potatoes. I went there once on my birthday before and Fleming's gave me a $25 gift card and a box of Godiva chocolates. I would choose this place any day over Ruth Chris Steakhouse. By far the best chain restaurant I've ever been to.

  • Pete M.

Terrible, very poor value. Beautiful interior, but chain restaurant foney. The steak was tiny and ordinary altho the halibut special seemed fresh and well made. However "double cut French fries" we're skinny, burnt and oil soggy and the creamed spinach seemed right of a can or package and had slices of white cheese laying on top. Ruth Chris prices but several steps down. Located in a major hotel, I assume this is a utility chain targeting out of towners on an expense account and who may not too discerning about their dining. Terrible.

It must have been an off night here. Margarita was terrible (Tasted like a bad sour or Margarita mix) Chips offered at the bar were soggy, even after asking for a fresh bowl - Prime Aged Steak actually had black charred ends.. Tonight 9/30/14 must have been staffed by the "B" team.. I Should have asked for the manager...didn't want to be a prick. Just won't be back, when I stay at the Omni..

If you're looking for a consistent USDA Prime steak that is cooked properly, it will be hard to find a comparable place in town (so if you're coming I'd recommend getting the dry aged ribeye). It'll be good, taste like what you'd expect, and again, consistent. However, many people assume USDA Prime means "best" when it is really just a grading system. I have personally had steaks that were not rated USDA Prime and arguably more flavorful and less expensive than pricey USDA Prime steak here and elsewhere. Chain restaurants often don't carry certain steaks I prefer (like 100% grass fed, locally pastured etc.) outside of the standard industrialized farming process for many reasons, including the fact that it's harder to guarantee consistency. Anyway, like I said, the steak here is good and I suppose it's a matter of preference. I'm sure the vast majority will be happily content with steak that tastes like steak and Fleming's surely has consistently steaky steak. Additionally, I've been to business functions here more times than I can count and have had the pleasure of eating through the entire food menu a few times over. Both the steak and the non-steak options are good, consistent, meets expectations. The service is very good, private dining rooms are available, the valet is convenient and it's an easy choice when you are dining w/ perhaps less food-adventurous people with more traditional palates (especially when you're on an expense account). I'm sure I'll be back, but on my own dime you're more likely to find me at the bar chowing on the great Bar Menu happy hour deals (esp. the burger and aps) because I'm saving my beaucoup bucks for a more creative and inspired menu elsewhere.

Overall, very good but not five-star worthy. The cocktails, though pricey, were very good and very consistent. The food was delicious but inconsistent. My boyfriend's twin filets were more medium than rare. I had one rare filet and one medium/medium well filet. We didn't complain or send them back because they were very tasty (and we were hungry), but I expect a steak house to be able to cook a steak to the right temperature. The main reason for taking off one star was the large table of children sitting behind us that kept throwing pieces of paper onto our table while we were eating. It may be an unpopular opinion, but if I'm going to a restaurant where I'll be shelling out upwards of $50 per person for the meal, I don't want to be bothered by someone else's poorly behaved children. It soured the evening, for sure. Hey, parents - please either leave your monsters at home or actively correct their behavior when they're being jerks.

  • Vidalia A.

The only reason I am giving one star is because the wait staff was polite and professional. We went for Restaurant week. Worse meal in a very, very long time. I ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese...one tiny morsel of lobster in it ! But it had some very succulent type of seafood in it...BUT...it was NOT lobster. I live in southeastern Massachusetts...I know lobster ! This meal was NOT lobster Mac & Cheese....others tried it and agreed...it was more like tender boiled shrimp.

Things started off a little rocky when they were running about 20 minutes behind. It isn't a huge deal but it would be nice to offer a drink at the bar or an appetizer when something like this happens. It's just such a small thing that they can do to go a long way. We were seated at a super cute and romantic table, loved it. Our waiter, Ben was fabulous. Sangria was delish and a healthy pour for $12. Loved my filet but hubby was not impressed with the way his steak was cooked (medium instead of medium rare). To fleming's defense, we didn't complain. The food was good- I'll even give it a very good- but for the money I think it needed to be fabulous for us to come back again. Just too many great restaurants in Providence. Again, this is one of those times when I wish Yelp had a 3.5 because I would give them that over the 3. Things we loved: Service THE BREAD!!!!! Oh my goodness, it melted in your mouth Selection on menu

After the horrid winter weather we endured in the Northeast, I truly missed dining at Flemings and July offers restaurant week with great prices and a full course meal. Steve, who oversees the restaurant , always does a dynamic job greeting and checking with the guests, making sure all are totally satisfied with service and food. Wonderfully warm, pleasant, and accurate is Linda, who has been our waitstaff person several times. She aims to please. So why only 4 stars? Well, something has changed at Flemings and that seems to be at the corporate level - that being the background music. Dining at Flemings this evening was like being at a disco or a lounge with totally wild music that increased in volume as the talking of the patrons became livelier. I have never, ever heard such music in this elegant, upscale restaurant. Corporate, what are you doing? Leaving Flemings with a headache does not allow one with a positive memory of Flemings or a desire to hurry back.

Flemings, Thank you. It was one of the best restaurant experiences of my life. I can honestly say that. You made us feel special but not uncomfortable. I had booked the reservation on Open Table and put in a small comment it was our 1 year anniversary dinner... so glad I did that! You guys had our table waiting, the host brought over a card that the whole staff had signed - so nice! The waitress was freakin' awesome. She was on top of everything, she had great suggestions and was just a pleasure overall. The sous chef was expediting and while I know that's not his normal job, he seemed generally happy to do it, chat with customers and hear how good the food was. It was my husbands first time trying brie (yeah yeah, i know, he's a newbie foodie) so the sous chef was so excited and personable to talk to us about it. Food: Also stellar. I had the special that night - 6oz steak with 3 bbq shrimp and mashed potatoes. My husband had the 12 oz main steak and we ordered the mac and cheese along with the Fleming potatoes. Don't judge us - we ordered a lot of potatoes. We also finished the meal with the amazing lava cake. So tasty. Overall - amazing experience and Flemings has customers for life now.

I have something of a passion for a really good steak, and in Providence that means I really like Fleming's. There are a a fair number of steakhouses in the PVD, but that number gets cut considerably when you cull out the ones that don't bother serving top quality steaks. Its not worth it to me to go out and order a supermarket cut of beef. As far as I know, the only places you can count on ordering a Prime steak in the city are Fleming's, Ruth's Chris, 10, and Prime. (Yes, those big ones I left off the list serve "Choice"). Of these, for me, just Fleming's gets the cooking bit right. I like a steak that's really hard to do at home. A true medium rare steak, warm in the middle with a hint of red. And further I like it Chicago-style, with a hard sear, a bit of crust developed on at least one side. It takes an incredibly hot grille, or broiler to do this, and a pretty deft hand. Flemming's never lets me down, that kitchen puts out really perfect steaks. Yes, its expensive, strikingly so sometimes. And yes, I wish it had a bit of local flavor. The dining room misses that Men's Club Steakhouse feel you find in the best spots in New York or Chicago. But the steak here, its every bit as good as the very best around. The servers here, really quite good, efficient and attentive. The wine list, it holds up to its billing, not extraordinary, but as good as it really needs to be. If you're in it for the steak, the buck stops here.

TERRIBLE! Drunk women so loud we could hear them in the next room. Came to celebrate my daughter starting college and instead we were subjected to a barrage of vulgarity, graphic sexual jokes and shrill, screaming laughter. The manager said there was nothing he could do and I should call corporate. HORRIBLE. $125 dinner ruined. I will NEVER go to Fleming's again.

First time at Flemings and I was very impressed. Our server Edgar V. was awesome. He alone gets 5 stars for his excellent customer service. I ordered the prime rib dinner with a side of asparagus with creme brûlée for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. The creme brûlée was probably the best I've had in a while. Hands down one of the best dinners I've ever had.

Was going to a 8pm concert at the Dunkin Donuts center, so we made a 6:30 reservation. We got there at 6 and checked in with the hostess who said they were running RIGHT ON TIME. When were weren't seated by 6:45, I checked in with the hostess who said they did not have any tables available and people were not leaving as they were likely going to the concert as well. Given that our concert started at 8, we were a bit nervous when 7pm rolled around and we still were not seated! I checked with the manager, who informed me that "open table" had double booked them with reservations and there was a snow storm so they didn't manage it. One would think they run into this situation all the time since 1) they are across from the Dunkin donuts center and 2) the Dunkin Donuts center has events all the time. If they had told me when I arrived they were running and hour late, I would have gone somewhere else! Won't be going here again.

Fleming's Steakhouse is one of our places that we enjoy celebrating at. Each time we have dined at this location we have always left with great things to say. The service is attentive and knowledgeable, steaks are cooked perfectly and the chipotle mac n' cheese is always a reason to come back.

So I came here last week for their special event sponsored by Veuve Cliquot. For $60 you got a 5 course tasting menu, and cocktails with each course. It started off with a blackberry lemonade cocktail, and some cheese, crackers, fruit, and yummy flavored popcorn. Waiters came around with prosciutto wrapped asparagus. Next, caprese on toothpicks, then pork belly on some type of crispy bread, giant shrimp cocktail, and for dessert a variety of truffles and strawberries and cream. The last four servings all came with half glasses of champagne. The food was outstanding and the drinks delicious. But the service is what really shone this night, and the reason I will come back to Fleming's in a heartbeat. My friend and I sat with another couple, and one of the women wasn't totally pleased with the event. She felt we deserved more champagne, we missed out on the strawberries and cream and had to ask someone for it, and she wasn't happy with the representative from Veuve. She explained all this nicely to the restaurant manager and our waiter, just letting them know her thoughts on the event if they were to ever hold it again. Well, because of this the manager ended up not charging ANY of us for the event! We were blown away. We had a great time, and our fellow diner was just giving some constructive criticism, so it was extremely nice of Fleming's to have comped the whole event for the 4 of us. I would recommend Fleming's to anyone based on the customer service alone. Outstanding!

We went here again for a family birthday dinner and again top notch on service and food. The steaks were all seasoned and cooked perfectly. I see Ruth Chris always gets good reviews but I just dont get the draw. all the food there is just plain and nothing I cant do at home. The Fleming Potatoes are amazing cheesy and not spicy because of the jalapenos. They even gave the birthday girl a card signed by the staff lol. Just one side note double check your check because they did over charge my mom by 2 extra Tickled Pinks!

First of all, let me just state for the record that the Providence Fleming's has a rich and masculine interior decor that makes a guy feel successful when he's eating there alone or with anyone special. I went there a couple of weeks ago with my nephew and this was his first time. The service was exceptional and wait staff highly competent and professional. The manager greeted us with a smile and our server was relaxed and friendly. I could chat with her for hours. The meat was perfectly prepared and I was a happy and content man for at least two hours. I ended up eating there two nights in a row! If you are new to the city as am I, look no further than Fleming's for that special occasion or hangout.

Let me state that the "meh" rating is based on the service, not the food, despite the large lobster shell. Read on.. I am so disheartened by our experience tonight. I made reservations for my boyfriend and I to celebrate his 26th birthday. It was his first Fleming's experience, as I have dined here previously. I had nothing but amazing things to say. I had been chatting it up for months waiting for the perfect time to go, what better day than his birthday! We were seated, despite reservations, directly next to the kitchen, not ideal considering I reserved a table much earlier in the week. It was noisy, distracting and quite frankly, ignorant considering the restaurant was nearly emptied when we were seated at 6:45. Our waiter was very pleasant and jovial, joking, being abundantly helpful, being attentive but not overbearing. We both ordered the specials, he ordered the surf and turf, I ordered the prime rib. When our meals arrived he asked that we switch because my portion was much bigger, I obliged. My first bite was the filet mignon, it was mouth watering. My second bite was the lobster, it was unfortunately crunchy. There were multiple pieces of lobster shell, one equaling the size of a nickel. I brought it to our waiters attention, he was obviously embarrassed and nearly immediately scooped it off my plate apologetically. What I assumed to be the manager, almost simultaneously came over asking how the evening was, I reiterated the shell incident. He wasn't nearly as attentive. I appreciated the complementary desserts, until it took 25 minutes and a greeting of "How are things going, KIDS?". Don't get me wrong, I understand that in the grande scheme of life we are young but the last time I checked, "kids" do not lavish in fine dining, nor do they order bottles of wine to complement their dining experience. The "kids" they were speaking to are esteemed law enforcement officer in Rhode Island and a mental health therapist. Neither of whom appreciate the title of "kid" nor do we deserve such a title. We are both educated, and in comparison to the "kids" in our age range, work abundantly to enjoy our lives and the time and effort we put into our work hours. I really wanted to enjoy this experience but after numerous "strikes" it was improbable. I am indifferent about returning, or recommending your restaurant in the future.

I absolutely LOVED visiting Fleming's for a recent steak craving. It far exceeds some of the alternative steak spots in the area (I will NEVER return to Providence Prime, for example). Not only is the setting fitting for a nice steakhouse, but the staff is well-trained, the food is flavorful and cooked to perfection, and the overall experience here is worth every penny. I had some of the best steak I've had in a very long time, while one of my dining companions opted for the double pork chop. Oh my. It's unreal how good that thing is! Although I find it hard to imagine not getting steak in a steakhouse, I would be very tempted for another taste of that pork! Although it seems inconsequential, the parmesan garlic bread and it's duo of spreads is one of my favorite parts of the meal here. On one particular visit, my sister told me how she had swooned so much over the bread that the staff sent her home with a goody bag of bread and both spreads to enjoy later at home. That's a sign of servers who care :) I would happily recommend Fleming's for any steak craving in the greater Providence area. Between the food, the service, and the ambiance, I definitely think it's deserving of a coveted 5 star rating on Yelp :)

Food is great and service is impeccable. I mean its Flemings, do we really need to review this place? Wine is always great but, the bartender Shaun, he is the best in the state.

I eat a lot and I eat often! I decided to treat myself this weekend and have already been to most steakhouses in the Providence area. Flemings did not disappoint at all! The wine selection is great and steaks are cooked to perfection. Besides the food being amazing the staff was even better! Friendly and helpful and they all seemed to ask if I was enjoying my food, every single one that walked by! Even the chef! For starters I had the tenderloin carpaccio with just the right amount of capers and mustard sauce! Yummy! My meal was a Prime NY Strip with Diablo Shrimp over it! Orgasmic. I asked for it medium and it couldn't have been cooked better! I'm not sure what kind of sauce the chef put on it, but that sauce brought out the taste in the steak and shrimp! I will be coming back to Flemings soon!

Excellent evening at Flemings! We thought the food and drinks were outstanding and the service was very good. The hostess seemed pre-occupied with laughing and joking with a coworker as we left to say "goodbye and thanks" but other than that, this place lived up to its reputation as a customer-centered, great place for fine dining.

I ordered a filet medium. The first steak was so overdone (100% grey) that it looked and tasted like pot roast. The server said, "That's not right" and didn't hesitate to correct the problem. They took that away and returned with a steak that was extremely rare. Like so rare it was purple, wiggly and bleeding on the plate. The server commented, "Well, maybe 3rd time is the charm!" By now, my son is done with his dinner. The manager came over and said, "We will put it back on the grill for you and no charge you." I told him that I didn't want to eat a steak that had already been cut into, as the juices had already run out. He wasn't doing me any favors by not charging me for the meat that he now had to throw away anyway. I wasn't looking for it to be perfect, but would expect that their kitchen could be trusted to cook the $50 steak (a la cart!) within a reasonable measure of "medium". I knew when they brought it to my table that it was extremely rare just by touching it with the tip of my knife. It was wiggly and had too much give. I'm just a mom who cooks for her family and I could see that. I don't understand how a professionally trained chef could miss that. It wasn't a mistake, but rather a training issue. Our server did her best- and it certainly wasn't her fault. However, the kitchen staff can't get it right which explains why they had an empty dining room on a weekend night in June. They have an open kitchen concept and we could see the servers standing around eating food. The manger comped the bill, left us with a $25 gift card to return and gave me a box of candy. They knew they blew it. But the bottom line is that I left hungry and very disappointed. We left there and hit up the bar at the hotel for late night small plate. The bar looked nice. If you're staying in the hotel, it might be a good place to get a drink. For everyone else, note that valet parking is reduced to $9 if the restaurant validates your ticket.

    (1)
  • Shane M.

Food, wine and service as good as it has always been - but please have your servers count and tip out in private, not at the bar or tables. We really don't need to hear the quibbling and cat fights.

We stopped in for happy hour before dinner downtown. The ravioli was very good, the best of the three apps. Pork belly was ok. No drink specials despite what the website says because the site does not have specific menus for each location as they should, and it seems RI doesn't allow the drink specials. This causes confusion as the waitress mentioned. The brie came without crackers, just the cheese in phyllo. I have never seen this done anywhere and it makes zero sense. Since when do restaurants just bring a wheel of cheese?? Valet parking is expensive. I would rather get validated parking at Capital Grille, so I would not return unless I happened to already be downtown for something.

No GooD;( I went to dinner on NY Eve.. Steak was amazing, service was amazing, but everything else I had for dinner was terrible.. Started of with shrimp skewers.. I think the shrimp was going bad very mushy and the dipping sauce was also old and odd tasting jicama salad was all red onions.. Terrible..Next was beet and herloom salad lol I got one red beet 1/2 size of a golf ball and and orange beet 1/4 size golf ball.. The herloom was completely mush so awful didn't attempt to eat after first bite.. Who plates that and says beet salad ? And the lobster w/bernaise topper was 1/2 of chix lobster that was mushy like the lobster wasn't alive before cooking and was breaking down. Where's the quality control for such a nice restaurant? Very disappointed., thankfully they had great bread and butter..never will go back shame because the steaks are amazing.

It's a steak house. I have had better for less. However, the place is nice, the staff is very good. My father, the cattle rancher, would probably smack me if he knew how much I spent on a ribeye.

This restaurant fell far short of what our experience has been in the past. Every year I make a dinner reservation at Fleming's to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my sister-in-law's birthday. Last evening we were served by Kingsley who seemed to be difficult to communicate with. When we ordered drinks I asked for a Plymouth Gin Martini, but when he came back he seemed confused about what kind of martini he was serving. So he had to return it to the bar and get another. When the meal came everything was fine with one exception, I did not get my baked potato, so they had to go back and get that. At the beginning of the evening Kingsley presented my sister-in-law with a birthday card and a small box of truffles. He also presented my wife with an anniversary card with a small box of truffles. All very nice! But at the end of the evening he gave my sister-in-law a $25 gift certificate, but did not give one to my wife. This made us feel slighted because in past years a gift certificate was always given to each of the ladies. Because of the poor lack of protocol we will have second thoughts about returning to Fleming's in the future. These things reflect on poor training and very careless management, especially at a Prime Steakhouse such as Fleming's!

If you're looking for a good steak in Providence go to Fleming's and you will get a great - great- great - great - great Steak! That right, a 5-star steak! I had the 12 oz filet and I knew it was going to be wonderful as soon as they placed it in on the table. But not only the entree's are good, so is everything as my prawns were fantastic as well as my vegetables, ice tea, and coffee. My family is affiliated with some of the best restaurants in New York City and this place is in the same league!!

We went here for my husband's birthday wanting to try a new steak place after always going to Michael Jordan's for many years. When we sat down the server asked us if we were celebrating an occasion and we told him a Birthday. He brought over a card signed by the staff - a nice touch. He was very helpful with wine suggestions and knew the menu quite well. So we thought we were in good hands for the night. But I have to say he dropped the ball once the food was served. He never asked if either of us wanted another glass of wine with dinner and it took him awhile to come back to the table to see how dinner was. But the manager Jodi made up for his shortcomings by offering me a glass of wine AND also giving my husband a new steak when his had a fair amount of fat on it. He was excellent and saved the night for us. Might I add that the food was EXCELLENT. We each had a filet and it was perfectly cooked. We had sauteed corn and mac and cheese for a side and that was plenty for 2 of us. Then onto desert - which was amazing (Jodi comped our desert as well for the lapse in service). We had the chocolate lava cake and it was delicious. I would definitely go back, even though the service was a bit lacking. Jodi being so nice and so on the ball saved us as customers for sure. A note on parking - park in the Providence Place Mall garage. It cost us $2.00 and we just used the pedestrian walkway to get over to the Omni Hotel. Valet at the hotel is $9.00 (normally $18.00 but they validate if you eat there). Much easier and saved us a bit of money, too.

Perfection! My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary which included dinner at Flemmings in Prov. It was simply amazing, staff was super, they made us kind of a big deal while we enjoyed the most perfectly prepared cuts of beef. A++++ those Flemmings potatoes were delish too.

I love grabbing a bite to eat at Flemmings- order the burger and calamari at the bar!. They have a special at the bar from 5-7 where you can get a good assortment of appetizers and a burger for $6 each. Most locations usually have a happy hour but this one doesn't have it because of the laws in Rhode Island. The service was good and you can use the Omni's wifi while dining here. The location was being renovated when I visited. Again, don't forget to order the burger!

A solid steakhouse in the Omni Hotel. Nice wine list, both in the bottle and by the glass. Avoid the calm chowder special -- nowhere near as good as one should expect in New England. The dry-aged ribeye steak was perfect. The lava cake was good. The service was solid.

Great service and great food. Yum, hard to beat a steak from Flemings. Good location downtown. Easy to get in and out of. Our server was very friendly and made several suggestions for us. I have a few food allergies and she was all over it. For sure would be back.

Fleming's is the place that my family goes to celebrate major milestones such as graduation, a new job, etc. This is the highest quality of steak you can get with the most attentive servers. They start you with a wine iPad. Yes if you cannot choose your wine by description you can spin the wheel and it will pick a random wine. After selecting the finest of wine the menu must be perused with seasonal specials that are top notch. I have enjoyed the steak, lobster tail, numerous sides, and desserts over the visits I have made to Fleming's. Never had I had a less than superb experience. The food is cooked to perfection, the staff is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere and ambience is perfectly set; it's an ideal location for upscale dining. I have received cards from the staff for my celebrations which shows the level of service these hosts go to for your enjoyment. I would highly recommend visiting and enjoying the fine foods. Also good to note is that at times they run promotions where if you buy a gift card for $100 you get $20 back. It's always nice to have a reason to go back.

Top Tier Service! I enjoyed dinner there back in September and that Friday evening was very busy. I made reservations and still expected to have a long wait for a good table. To my surprise a table opened up within twenty minutes or less and I was seated at a great location in the dining floor. The noise level was very low considering all of the table were full and the staff were busy. Our waiter was prompt and greeted us with a smile and a welcome. I started off with a well a few prepared drinks and took in the atmosphere then order the French Onion soup. The soup was very tastely and not salty like some other soups I've ordered in the past. I took my time and was not rushed through my app which I like. I have not had a prime steak for months so I ordered the Aged Prime Rib Eye but i generally have a Strip steak so this would be a good test. When my steak arrived it was cooked to perfect and it's presentation on the place was setup like a picture in a magazine. I tried a Red Dirt Red SGM Paso Robles with the steak and the favor...hard to describe but if your a steak lover then you know that perfect taste with a good wine. Everything was just awesome and I will be going back sometime in March for another trip to steak heaven.

Holy expensive!!! For those who only read the first few lines in these reviews: Go to Texas Roadhouse...and save your kids college tuition, and come here only if your getting wine. My fiancée and I came here for dinner on Valentines Day. We knew it would be pricey, as it being a steakhouse and wine bar, but we figured it was a special night...why not treat ourselves?! We ordered the "Valentines Duo", meaning two, right? Nope, it was for one! So, one dinner, an appetizer, two drinks each, and with a tip was $175!!! Whaaaat?! I felt used and hungry when I left. The food wasn't even all that spectacular to enable them to charge that much! The only upside to this restaurant is the wine/wine list. The list is on a an iPad were you can scroll through different regions, types, prices etc. The bartender gave me samples of wine to try, explanations of each type, and a glass of ice water to cleanse my palate.

Oh wow I mean what hasn't been already said about Fleming's. Well Kish and I got here on a Valentine's date. I have never had their food just drinks. Oh boy the food there (I have to say might be better than Ruth's Chris) We obviously partook in the steak and their sauces are what set them apart from Ruth's Chris. Don't get me wrong, bathing those steaks in butter is what does it at RC but the variety of sauces at Fleming's a great touch. Oh btw, definitely ask for bread, you will thank me when those two butters come out. Also, a little word to the wise, their bar menu is very, very cheap. That is definitely a weekly thing if you want it. Since our date we went back for the bar menu, oh boy there are some really nice choices on there let me tell you.

Wonderful menu and amazing food. Definitely a great spot for a celebratory dinner and drinks. The service is just outstanding, the staff is so friendly from the host desk, to the bartenders, the wait staff, and the food runners/bussers. I love going there because I know I will have an unforgettable experience. The $9 valet service is also a nice perk! I would highly recommend to anyone in the Providence area.

Fleming's is great! My favorite part is that they have 100 wines by the glass. 100!!! I love wine, so that really gets me excited and a little overwhelmed, but they always offer you a taste if you are undecided. You can also get a flight of wines...3 glasses of whichever wine you want at 1/3 of its by-the-glass price. This is an awesome option, especially when some of the glasses are over $20 so you can try a more expensive wine without committing to the whole glass/price. Although not on the menu, they will also sell 1/2 glasses. The service is always really good, the ambiance is warm and welcoming with lots of dark wood. The booths are so comfy. They have a great option in the bar: 5 different appetizers for $6 each until 7 o'clock. This also includes their burger, which is prime beef and comes on a delicious bun with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, 2 huge onion rings, and a chipotle aioli. For $6!!! Probably the best burger in Providence. I've also had dinner before. My steak was bomb, and the family-style sides are awesome, especially the mac and cheese and the creamed spinach. The cocktail list is very extensive and tasty as well.

Came to Fleming's for Restaurant Week after seeing all the positive reviews. First things first, bread + the two spreads it was served with were great. For my first course, I ordered the mushroom ravioli which was also excellent. The problems were w/ my main course -- I ordered the twin filet cooked medium, but got one filet rare and the other well. I would hope that a steakhouse would at least know how to cook a proper steak. My boyfriend ordered the lobster mac and cheese for his main. Not sure if it was just us, but the small amount of seafood in the dish had the texture/taste/color of shrimp, not lobster. To finish up, I had the cheesecake which was great. Overall the meal was alright + the service fine, but I was disappointed about our main course.

Girls night out @ the wine bar. Arrived at 7pm & the bar was busy with no seats open. Surprisingly the tables in the bar were available so we scored a booth. We were greeted promptly by a friendly sever with a wine tablet & menus, yes a wine tablet! They have had the wine tablet only a week, brand spanking new toy to play with. Wouldn't you know that we did order the wine flights (3 choices of any wines by the glass, just a smaller pour than ordering one glass & a third of the cost) almost 30 minutes later. Yes we played & searched on that tablet for 30min before we even ordered! We had a really good time and the tablet was just the start of it all. We also tried the baked brie and the sweet chili calamari both were delicious! I took away a star because some of the wines by glass were upwards of $18 a little steep IMHO.

Not sure what the deal was but tonight was horrible. Waiter was nice and polite but took an obscene amount of time to get drinks. For one glass of wine it took a good 15 minutes. It wasn't a fluke because I ordered 2 more and same deal each time. I would expect this on a busy night but tonight the restaurant was probably at 60-70% capacity. For appetizers I ordered the pan fried pork belly and French Quarter BBQ shrimp. Each dish was $16.50 each. I thought the portion for both were very small considering the price. I would have overlooked the the price if the food was excellent but it was mediocre. The pork came in 3 small pieces. Flavor/tenderness was OK but hey, it's pork belly so how bad could it be?? I will say that I could've easily cooked this at home by literally just throwing pork belly in a pan and adding a salt. Nothing special about it....I cook pork belly all the time. The shrimp was overcooked and a little hard. I believe there were 5-6 small shrimps in an order. Again flavor was nothing to brag about and they have the same dish at Ruth's Chris that is better and for less money. For my entree I ordered the Main Filet for $44.50. Side dishes does not come with it so I ordered garlic mash potatoes for additional $9.50. From one to ten, I give the filet a 6.5 on both flavor and tenderness. Again I will compare it to Ruth's Chris and say that the filet their is a lot better and atleast $5 cheaper. The filet at Capital Grille is also very good. The potatoes weren't bad but again its just whipped up potatoes with heavy butter and garlic. for $9.50. My overall summary of Flemmings is that it's overpriced and not worth it. It's one of the more expensive (if not the most) in Providence and the food does not justify the the price tag. Oh and most restaurants will offer free valet....Flemmings charges $9. Good luck.

We went with friends to try out an "upscale" steak house. It is in the base of the Omni (formerly Westin) hotel with a host of sharp looking sportscars awaiting the valet. We were seated promptly in a darkly decorated but clearly nice looking dining room. Overall, the atmosphere was definitely on the classier side- you would do well to wear "dressy/casual" and not just jeans. I had a few major points I liked Flemings a LOT but on too many I was disappointed. The good points were service: after being seated promptly, the waiter came over to chat with us about the menu, specials, wine list, etc. He was very attentive without being overbearing. Three of us opted for the restaurant week menu, the fourth went ahead with a regular menu item. Now, this is where I have my biggest issue. My friend ordered her steak very carefully because she really hates RAW meat. She was incredibly specific about it being more medium than rare. When it came out the steak "jiggled" as per her touch test and true to form it was raw inside. This is why "upscale" steakhouse is not something I can put in my review. I am an amateur in the kitchen but even I know the proper touch test to cook a filet mignon. If it is JIGGLY then it is RAW. You are a STEAKHOUSE. This is all you do. Get it right. They were very gracious about quickly rectifying the error, to their credit. My next big point again comes with a simple menu item that should have been perfect (or at least better than what I got): creme brule. This is one of my favorite desserts. . . when done right. The consistency was incredibly grainy so the whole custard tasted as if it had been set improperly. To top matters off I started to chew on what I thought was a garnish/berry and found myself spitting out a hunk of raw onion!!! I did not bother to complain at this point because I certainly did not want to make any attempt at another poorly executed dessert. On the positive side, our spinach and potatoes were very good, our appetizers tasty (we had the mushroom ravioli and salad, all very good) and the wine list quite extensive. The staff, as I said, was great. They quickly brought us more bread (which is also very good) without us even having to ask. Our water glasses were never empty, too. The wine list here is really REALLY good, albeit pricey. $8-10 a glass is average, however you are getting some top notch selections by the glass. Then again, on the low end at $9 a glass I noted a Pinot Noir that usually goes for that price per bottle. If you want a nice evening out with a good steakhouse menu and environment, this would make the short list. However, I personally will try one of the other Providence steakhouses before hitting Flemings again.

Love their dry aged steaks! Sooooo yummy to pair with wine!!! Since the dry aged steak will be less juicy, try to ask for the pepper corn sauce, one dip one bite.... OMG I'm in heaven!!!!

Tied with Harry's Bar and Burger for my favorite happy hour in Providence. You can't beat the 5 for $6 til 7. The atmosphere is great- busy but not overcrowded; friendly bartenders and wait staff; big comfy booths and bar seats; the drinks don't skimp on the booze and the food is delicious- my burgers are always cooked perfectly. And ADDICTING potato chips in bar area- ADDICTING!

We dined here only because we were guests of the hotel & had arrived late from a hockey game. The service was sooooo slow & we were warned by several guests that that was the case before we sat down. The kids' filets were so overcooked they were in edible (10year olds refused them) & their fries were burned to a cinder. The 4 adults at the table ordered from the restaurant week menu & the waitress failed to inform us until after we had decided that one of the desserts - creme brûlée (that we all wanted) was sold out. In addition 2 of the 4 steaks were overcooked - which is a cardinal sin for a steak restaurant. I didn't send mine back because it was late & we needed to be up early for another game. I did give the restaurant stars only because the waitress & manager were so apologetic; they removed the kids' meals from the tab & she offered to have the steaks cooked properly for everyone. Again - had it been an earlier meal or just adults we would have absolutely sent the meals back. They said the kitchen was overwhelmed but I'm definitely underwhelmed & won't plan on going back.

I don't usually goto upscale steakhouses, but I thought I would give this one a try. I was very impressed by the decor. I am a bar eater so this place fit pretty well. The 5 items for $6 till 7pm is very good deal. Top quality food for affordable prices. The mushroom ravioli and cajun shrimp were very good. Also, the bar burger is a great deal as well. They don't offer the seared ahi tuna anymore. That was the best item, but all of the other items offered are very good. Overall, good food and good service. I have been back a bunch of times and it is consistently good. JC

This is my wife's favorite restaurant. By far the best customer service in Providence. They make wine suggestions based off of your drink selection at the bar. I highly recommend the crab cakes, prime rib and Flemings potatoes.

Visited Flemings again and the food and service were just as good as our first visit. The steaks were perfectly prepared and the wait staff was very attentive. All the staff members knowing your name is a nice touch. Like Ruth's and the Capital Grille, Fleming is not inexpensive, but the quality of the food and the professional staff make a meal at Flemings special.

It was decent. We went during a particularly busy night (Waterfire), so they were completely overwhelmed with customers. I got the petite lamb chops, which were perfectly cooked - tender and succulent, all that you can expect from a tasty chop of meat. I couldn't really taste the flavor of the mint pesto, but I felt like the lamb was seasoned in a delectable manner. The polenta fries tasted like hashbrowns - needless to say, I demolished those. The WineApp they have is pretty impressive - Flemings 100. I'd suggest going on a less busy night, when service would undoubtedly match up perfectly with the food.

I am not a connoisseur of much, but when it comes to steakhouses, I have been to my fair share. Fleming's is located in the Omni hotel in Providence. The particular night that my wife and I decided to have dinner, the hotel was hosting the Fetish Fair Fleamarket. It made for quite an interesting night. Now while we saw some people wearing some quite interesting outfits we didn't see much of it at dinner. I think it was mainly because we were seated in a private dining room with 3 other tables. I found this quite odd and felt that it took away from the experience at eating at a steakhouse. The room was located right next to the bar. The room was small enough that you could easily hear everyone else's conversations. Actually it would have been easy to reach over and pour yourself some of the other table's wine. The service was good and the food was decent. My overall comment is that for the money, I would go back to the Capital Grille one block down next time I am in Providence. The atmosphere and food are just better.

My friend and I were staying at the Omni hotel. We were a little hungry so decided to go to Flemings and sit at the bar for drinks and appetizers. I've been to this Flemings before in the past and had a really great time with exceptional service. The bar had about 7-8 people sitting, and we waited about 15 minutes for acknowledgement. Maybe it was because what we looked like (workout clothes) considering we used the pool at the hotel. Shawn was our bartender and this was his greeting: "Wine? Beer? ID's?" I was taken back by this welcome, especially from a 5 star restaurant. His tone and demeanor was not friendly at all. We ended up ordering our drinks. I asked him how much an appetizer was he said: "I have no idea and tossed (yes tossed) a menu in front of me) I looked at my friend in disbelief. We ordered our food which was excellent btw. Shawn never asked us how it was, or if we needed anything else. This is simple common courtesy that most bartenders possess. The woman next to me sent her burger back 3 times because she told Shawn she wanted it well done. A married middle aged couple sat right next to us at the bar...Shawn greets them: "Hey handsome how are you doing tonight? I'm Shawn and anything you need just let me know etc..." Then shakes the woman's hand...is your wife? Pleasure to meet you Pauline. My mothers name Pauline! Can I get you both anything to drink?" I was so disgusted that Shawn pretty much profiled us because we were younger, so therefore didn't want to be bothered. The other bartender Chad knew I wasn't happy and made a great attempt to change the awkwardness. He wasn't our bartender but Chad came over twice to ask if we needed anything. That's all I was expecting...nothing more, nothing less. I wish I went to Centro restaurant at the Omni instead, because it left such a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm with Yelpers on this one; I think 4 and half stars is just about right. There are lots of really terrific things about the place. The bread was warm loaves of sourdough, accompanied by two spreads, an herbed goat cheese spread and a flavored (roasted peppers, I think) butter. Both the bread and the spreads were fantastic. We tried the pork belly appetizer and were impressed. The pork belly was interesting, but the grits stole the show. Who'd have thought of using goat cheese for grits? It was perfection, smooth and rich, without being heavy or greasy. The Flemings salad was also excellent. The greens were good, the dressing excellent, and the candied walnuts tasted like they'd just come out of the toasting pan. My wife got the filet mignon small plate, which we both thought was excellent. The filet was perfect and the shiitake risotto with porcini drizzle was fantastic. I had the prime rib, which was also excellent. Nothing fancy or tricked up, just excellent. We tried the Fleming's (scalloped) potatoes, which was also terrific. Interesting and well executed. My wife and I split the chocolate lava cake. We've had other-worldly versions of this dessert. Fleming's version is very good, but not in that category. The ice cream with crushed pistachios on the side were a nice touch. My kids got ice cream sundaes, which were also good. Of note, our server (can't remember her name) was fantastic. Given our druthers, we'll take New American or fusion cuisine everyday of the week. Steakhouses aren't our usual thing, so I don't know when I'll be back. That all said, for its genre, we were very favorably impressed by Flemings.

I wish I could remember my servers name because he was awesome. I think he realized we were normal average joes and not some rich snobs so he was a bit more laid back with us than the tables around us. We got a gift certificate and to be completely honest if we didn't have the gift certificate we would have never stepped foot in this restaurant because I cant justify two people spending as much on one meal as I usually spend on the two of us for a weeks worth of groceries. Some people have money to toss around and more power to them, I am just a bit too frugal. Other than the prices everything was great, we had the short ribs app which I thought was a bit strange of an app but it was delicious. Had a flemmings salad which was awesome, I think next time for my meal I would get the salad and short ribs. But what I did get was the filet and the mac and cheese. My mac and cheese was delicious although way too hot when it came out (but better than being cold I suppose) and my filet was a bit too rare for me. I asked for medium and it was definitely more on the med rare/rare side. My boyfriends steak was delish and cooked perfectly, he got the loaded baked potato which was very heavy and yummy. Dessert was creme brulee and carrot cake, we figured since we were going all out we might as well go ALL OUT. Both desserts were yummy and the total of the meal was about $200. Like I said... not bad when you have $150 in gift certificates, but would I ever go back and pay for a meal like that out of pocket? No, I would rather go to the grocery store and buy everything to make that meal plus 3 others.

My husband is always in the mood for a good steak, so we decided to try Feming's for restaurant week. It's a chain restaurant, but we have never been so it was a new experience for us. Upon entering, we were definitely happy we opted for nicer clothing than jeans. Pretty much everyone here was dressed at least dressy casual. We sat in the back room, which was much more quiet than the main bar area. The bar area and surrounding tables were very noisy, and by the time we left there was a long wait to be seated. Prior to ordering, we were served a mini-loaf of herb bread with two spreads: a white wine feta cheese and a roasted pepper butter. We both loved the white wine feta cheese and, sadly, polished off the whole loaf of bread. For $30, we each had a starter, steak, and dessert. I had the salad was okay but nothing special and my husband had the New England Clam Chowder. The chowder had a lot of clams in it without tasting seafood-y. The bacon-wrapped steaks that we both ordered were perfectly cooked and full of flavor--the main reason why this place gets 4 stars. They looked very small on the plate, but in reality were the perfect size. We were full by the time dessert came. The cheesecake was very fresh and soft, but it seemed more like a Philadelphia Cream Cheese cheesecake than a New York Italian Cheesecake. (Being from NY, I'm a little picky about cheesecake.) The Italian truffles were divine! The plate had 4 truffles about 1-inch in size but they were packed with flavor and richness. My husband couldn't finish them, so I had to take one for the team and help him out. :-) The restaurant offers 100 wines, but they are pricey. Expect to pay at least $10 per glass. That being said, the two Malbecs we had were very good. The service at the restaurant was very good. Our server, Danita, was very attentive without being overbearing. She had a great personality and didn't judge us when we devoured our loaf of bread (she even asked us if wanted more). One thing I found odd was that there were other people (managers?) constantly walking through the restaurant; it definitely detracted from the rest of the meal. Either trust your servers to do the job well, or do it yourself. Overall, I'm not sure that we would pay full-price prices, but we will definitely consider Fleming's again during another restaurant week or when they have a three course special.

It's a chain, yes. But it's a delicious one. It's expensive though, at $10 plus dollars a drink and $50 steaks with extra for any sides. Going during Providence restaurant week helps, although everyone knows the portions are much much smaller so don't come with much of an appetite or you'll be disappointed! Overall, its delicious but you can get more food and bang for your buck elsewhere.... Go to a local restaurant instead - after all you are in foodie Capitol ... Branch out from a chain, already!!

Flemings is first class in every way. From Sean the friendly and accommodating bartender, the amazing atmosphere , excellent drinks, and the best ribeye anywhere! Fleming's is a fairly upscale steakhouse in the downtown area located in the Westin Hotel. My husband picked it for our friend reunion dinner because it's close, it had open reservations on short notice, and it seemed to have at least some foods I could eat! He chose well, because as a vegan following a low-gluten diet at a steakhouse, I felt anything but deprived! Part of the fun of getting to Fleming's involves the fact our local mall is connected to the Westin Hotel by a skybridge, so we parked at the mall and sky-bridged it all the way to the Westin! The interior of Fleming's is super dark-- almost too dark, but the restaurant was quite grand and stately, decorated with lots of wood accents and boasting an old-school classic steakhouse feel. We were seated immediately and after our waitress introduced us to how the menu and wine list worked, we were immediately served a bread and spread combo. I think the bread was some sort of herby number, and the spreads were basically an herbed feta spread and a sun-dried tomato whipped butter. I avoided the whole shebang (no gluten for me), but let me tell you, my dining companions were quite impressed with how tasty the bread and the spreads were. As someone who didn't have any, at least I can say kudos for offering spreads that go beyond your typical butter or olive oil! I also passed on ordering any starters since there wasn't much for me in that department. They did have a few vegetarian apps, like mushroom ravioli and a brie cheese plate, but both of those are pretty impossible to veganize! For my entrée, I ordered three things for which I was immediately made fun of for. Let's just say I ordered a lot, and one of my dining companions ventured to ask our waitress of a trough was available for me! However, let's keep in mind the foods I ordered tend to be high volume, but low-calorie. . . well except for the french fries. I ordered their Fleming's salad, which consisted of greens, candied walnuts, tomatoes, onions, dried cranberries, and croutons (which I requested to be left off). It was huge, lightly dressed and extremely fresh! I was a fan. Along with the salad beast, I ordered a side of shoestring fries as well as a side of sautéed spinach. I asked the spinach be cooked in oil instead of butter, and they happily obliged. The fries were plentiful, salty and crispy- perfect dipped in a boatload of ketchup. The spinach was cooked fantastically, flavored by garlic, pepper and onions. I took down most of these greens, no problem. I arranged it so all of my food came at once- hence the trough comment. I was able to rotate each bite of food consumed- salad bite, french fry bite, spinach bite, repeat. I had quite a wonderful assortment of flavors and textures to pick from, and I thoroughly enjoyed each component of my meal. Fleming's is great in that I really didn't have to go very far out of my way to construct a delicious meal for myself. Also, Fleming's had other sides I could have ordered, like grilled asparagus, sautéed corn, and a baked potato. In other words, I didn't even exhaust all of my menu options! I passed on dessert, although sorbets were available. While the table shared some molten lava cake and walnut turtle pie, I settled for a cup of decaf. The service was impeccable, the food was enjoyed by all, and I was quite a happy vegan. Vegans really can have fun at steakhouses- it just takes a wee bit of work. I was lucky to craft a meal at Fleming's without having to request any major accommodations, but I am sure if I called ahead, they would have whipped up for me a downright proper vegan meal! I actually look forward to when I get to go back- the salad especially is something I fear I will crave. . . often!

Flemings was an excellent surprise in service and the food. Me and my girlfriend had the Sunday prime rib three course special for $29.95 and it was one of THE most delicious prime rib I've had. The first course, from a choice of three salads, the blue cheese wedge, house mix and a caesar salad. I had the blue cheese wedge which was a bit disappointing because it was simply a quarter cut of a head of iceberg lettuce and too much blue cheese dressing. My girlfriend had the house spring mix vinaigrette salad with candied walnuts, dried cranberries, tomatoes and onions. I ate more of that than my wedge salad. I ordered the prime rib rare and it was the best. I think why it was so good was that they served the au jous on the side, not swimming in it so is for me, tasting the full flavor of the beef. It was amazing. The desert that I got was carrot cake and my girl got cheesecake. Both were very good and especially the homemade whipped cream. The service was top shelf. The waiter was always there and offered a great wine paring with my rib. Also our ice water glass was always full. I would definitely come back here for another special occasion or next time they offer another pre fix special.

Food was very good, wife had Sunday prime rib pre fix $29.95,, very good deal including salad and dessert. Bread was warm with two dips I had the Sirloin dinner pre fix. Steaks are always cooked to order and perfection. Wife loved the mac cheese side, said it was the best ever. Ron the waiter was a professional server, always there when needed with a great personalty. Very mature, showed age by calling Dunk the Civic Center...... Ah the seventies .... Was aware that valet parking was going to discounted cost $9.00, but still bothered me that Fleming can't work out better deal for parking. since minimum bill is at least a C note. Always enjoy the real whipped cream with dessert, Fleming is very consistent with quality and an excellent value for steaks in city.

There is something about flemings and cheese that doesn't sit well with me.... It is a beautiful space right at the Westin, with lots of businessmen hanging out at the end of the evening on a Friday. However, we ordered the baked brie, and it was possibly the worst brie I've had. Ever. The bartender was fairly attentive. One of my drinks was too sweet, the other was great. I really wanted to love this place, although it's a chain, it is upscale, so I expected more.

I went last year during restaurant week, the only reason that I would go given their usual prices. The food did not disappoint, and was probably the best steak I've ever consumed. The tortilla soup was not that great, and much to my boyfriends chagrin, I traded my soup for his Caesar salad which was lovely. Service was good, ambiance was nice as well.

We've been to Flemings about 5 times over the past 3+ years. The food is usually solid, but nothing that blows us a way. Our biggest issue is service. There has been only one time in all our visits where we have had good service. Every now and again we'll look to give it another shot and then remember why we don't go back. There are too many good restaurants in Providence for us to keep giving these guys another chance.

On Saturday February 22nd I had taken my partner out to Providence for her birthday. We couldn't make the original reservation I had made elsewhere but Flemings was able to fit us right in. However, when I called to say we were running late for our time slot they failed to mention they were running behind as well. So we practically ran there so as to not lose our table but yet had to wait another 15 minutes past our reservation time anyway. I must say they were very polite and accommodating and suggested we wait at the bar, which we did. They allow you to transfer your bar tab right to your table once you're seated. Because of the occasion, they had all signed a birthday card for my partner. While they are strangers, it was a very sweet thought. The service was awesome. Our waiter Matt was on top of our drinks and even suggested a spectacular Riesling to go with my meal. He was very attentive despite how busy they were. The kitchen messed up on my steak but they comped us another side to make up for it and the manager herself brought it out and served us. We both had the Main Fillet with a side of the grilled asparagus and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Fantastic!!! As well as when dessert came they allowed is to try a decent scoop of the chantilly cream to go with our Creme Brûlée. At the end of the meal we were also given a $25 gift card for next time and a box of four truffles. Overall, it cost a pretty penny but was an absolutely spectacular experience and I would do it again.

We were given a gift card for the chain (Flemings, Outback, ect.) and had decided to try something new since we had never gone before. We ordered a drink each, the pork belly app, a Newport filet and a special they had (lobster and bacon wrapped shrimp). First, we didn't read carefully (100% clearly our bad) but the happy hour is only good if you sit at the bar, so we thought our pork belly app was $6 and it was $16. Oops. With that said, it really was awesome. Pork belly and goat cheese is a beautiful thing. We opted out of sides because we weren't trying to blow a paycheck on dinner but our meals really were amazing. Perfect temp, melts in your mouth, lovely crust, the whole package. The bill was about $150 for the two of us having pretty minimal meals. The price wasn't a huge deal but I don't think what we paid was worth what the experience we had. Overall, great food but not a great experience. We're wishing we had spent our gift at one of their other restaurants.

OK, so I've enjoyed many steak houses particularly for business dinners. I came to PVD for my job interview and stayed at The Westin. Normally, I don't like hotel restaurants, but Fleming's turned out to be absolutely fantastic. I had one of the most succulent steaks accompanied by lobster mashed potatoes and asparagus spears. Simply perfect.

So I know I've gone on the record with my general dislike of chain restaurants, but what the heck, sometimes there have to be exceptions to the rules. And with only chain Steakhouses in RI to choose from... whats a man to do. So my Godson turned 18 and figured it was time for us to go out for a mans dinner and get a mans steak. Se we headed to Flemings with visions of perfectly seared beef dancing in our heads. I made a reservation because they we're offering $25 dollars off your bill if you did, so why not. In the reservation request, there was a spot for special occasion so I put in birthday. We showed up a few minutes early and gave my name and we we're warmly greeted by the hostess and quickly wished a happy birthday. Off to out table.. I really like the dining room here.. lots of dark woods and perfectly lit.. nothing drives me more crazy than a restaurant with the lights on full blast... We we're quickly greeted by our server and she brought with her a birthday card signed by the staff.. a nice touch. Even before I get to the food... I have to say... this place has probably the best group of front of the house staff I have ever experienced. Coming from someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for 15+ years.. they are a class act. From the host to waitress, to the floor manager. All came over and wished my nephew a happy birthday and we're warm and genuine and nothing but smiles. I was impressed, which doesn't happen very often... I'm a little jaded. So, anyways.. the food. Boom goes the dynamite. Delicious. Perfectly cooked steaks, I had the rib-eye, my nephew had the rib-eye Oscar with king crab and Bearnaise sauce. Tender, flavorful, perfect. We got the mashed potatoes and jalapeno mac and cheese for sides... the mac and cheese was cheesy and smokey and with just enough heat.. so good.. it took all of our self restraint to not lick the spoon and the bowl. Desert.. another treat... so after our meal, our waitress Stephanie...(who was great) brought out a small chocolate cake for the birthday boy (... like a cake big enough for 4 people to split... for free.. and it was awesome.) and I got the creme brulee... which was also perfectly done. The texture was amazing, and it was the perfect temp.. another pet peeve of mine is when creme brulee is ice cold.. hate it. This was slightly north of room temp.. perfect. All in all great experience... on the pricey side.. but it is to be expected. Stop in you will not be disappointed.

First let me say I completely disagree with the review posted by Amy K. I have been to the bar at Flemings numerous times. I spend a great deal of time observing the interactions of others at the bar. Our first time there we were greeted warmly and courteously by both Shawn and Chad. Shawn introduced himself , asked our names and proceeding to give us wonderful service the entire evening. The people on each side of us raved about Shawn as they had been there before. One was a couple and interestingly one was a young woman alone who is in grad school, A single woman feels very comfortable going to the bar alone knowing Shawn is there. He goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. We actually prefer to eat at the bar and that is because of Shawn. When I have gone there alone, Shawn will help me select a wine from the wine tablet based on the questions he asks to learn about my personal taste and preference with wines. He is worth his weight in gold! Susan D.

Nick R nailed it: "If you want a great meal with great service and not have a care in world that you'll get a sub-par meal for the price - this is your place." There's no shortage of high-end chain steakhouses, but Fleming's has always been good to me and this visit was not any different. The atmosphere, the decor, the service (for the most part) and the food were exceptional. Here's the rundown on the grub I had on New Years: -Sweet Chili Calamari: Exceptional -Filet: Very Good -New Years Seafood Platter - great mix of lobster, mussels, shrimp, etc... - Very Good -Alaska Crab Legs - Exceptional -Flemings Potatoes: Very Good -Grilled Asparagus: Have had better at home -Mac & Cheese: somewhere between Good and Very Good -Sauteed Mushrooms: Very Good -Worth-noting: Perfectly executed slightly dirty Grey Goose martini for only $12.95 - Awesome Picking up on that last note, I think it's worth mentioning that for a high-end steak joint, Fleming's does focus on value.... may have been that I was in Prov & everything is cheaper in Prov. My only constructive criticism is that the service started strong and then got weaker toward the end of the night - First rule of waiting tables as someone who has done it: You don't tell patrons you want to go home. This might have been 4.5 stars without the service issue, but the service solidified a 4 star rating.

My family was visiting and they loved steak. Friends recommended Flemings and after reading some Yelp reviews about it I reserved a table for a Wednesday night. I put on the reservation notes that it was a special occasion and they had a table ready for us at kinda secluded area, where we could enjoy ourselves without inconveniencing other patrons. The place is beautiful! Staff was very courteous and accommodating, specially Judas. We had 2 orders of filet mignon, 1 Caesar salad, and 2 orders of Shrimp Skewers, everything was delicious! We thought we didn't have room for dessert, but Judas very nicely suggested that we share dessert and recommended his favorites (lava cake, carrot cake and the cheesecake), we ordered 1 carrot cake and 1 cheesecake, and we were so happy we did! We were 5 and we each enjoyed a reasonable piece of each one. I would definitely recommend Fleming's and I can't wait to go back!

Fleming's Steak House Providence It's a chain. Get over it. Fleming's serves damn good bread...and it comes to your table on a wood cutting board fresh from the oven. Literally. So fresh that if you're not careful, you'll probably end up scorching off your tastebuds...Protip: have wine handy. The crust is thick and crisp with subtle overtones of real cheddar cheese. The soft bread-y interior is hot, doughy but completely cooked so as not to be chewy. The advantage of chains is that they do research to find out the perfect blend of parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme to toss in their dough so that the customers will always leave with dopey smiles singing Simon and Garfunkel tunes in their wine induced stupor. Oh...and seriously...chocolate covered after dinner soft mints...heck yes.

Don't waste your time. A group of 7 of us Just left Flemings after celebrating a friends birthday. Started off ok, ordered appetizers, drinks and dinner. Things were taking a while but we were enjoying conversation. We asked if separate checks were possible before ordering, waiter said no problem. As entrees came out, our sides were late and did not arrive until we had finished our steaks. The waiter said they were given to another table. Ordered 2 chocolate lava cakes, they had no vanilla ice cream...seems like a staple to keep stocked on your signature dessert but oh well. We then waited one hour for our checks to arrive....no apologies. Two of our friends had to go ask for them on separate occasions. They arrived, completely incorrect. We crossed off problems and wrote in missing items....half hour later checks came back again....incorrect. At no point did management apologize or even speak to us at this point. After complaining again we were told that normally the computer can separate but tonight it wasn't working. After more figuring the checks were brought back again with some compensation. At this point we were an hour and a half after first requesting the checks...completely unacceptable. With babysitters waiting at home this was not ideal for an enjoyable evening out! The waiter asked for our valet so he could "take care of them". We assumed this meant the $9 valet fee would be waived. Outside at valet, woman tells me $16, because we had now been more than three hours, no fault of ours! I marched back in to tell management that we would not be paying valet. NEVER, and I mean never again. Now we know exactly why we love to go to Ruth's Chris. Better food, exceptional service and offer a first class evening.

I've only experienced the bar at this time. I went for the $7.00 burger night (before 7:00) and have to say it was the best. Also tried the calamari with the sweet sauce and it was out of this world. Can't wait to go back and try more items. Two thumbs up so far.

I dined at Flemings a few years back, it must've been shortly after they opened for business. I have to say, hands down, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The service: impeccable and professional. The atomosphere: upscale and classy. The food: absolutley amazing. The menu is a la carte which makes your meal very expensive. I had the North Atlantic Lobster Tails with a side of mashed potatoes: blue cheese, peppercorn and roasted garlic, um... hello? It doesn't get any better than this people. There were 4 in my party, when all was said and done and after 3 bottles of French wine at $125 a pop; the bill came close to $900, not including tip. Needless to say, I won't be coming back here again unless I hit it big with a sugar daddy who wants to spoil me.

Dinner for my sons 21st B-Day last night. 6:30 reservation. Greeted and seated right away. Christine our waitress was fantastic. Appetizer : Crab cakes . Outstanding . The fresh baked bread was also excellent. My wife and I both had the porcini rubbed filet . My son went with the prime New york strip . All were perfectly done , among the best steaks we have ever had . We shared the flemings potatoes and the parmesan potatoes. Both excellent . My son and I each had a stella and he opted for a tanq + tonic with dinner . Our server even brought my son a gift card and some treats for his birthday at the end of the meal . Great food , Great service . Granted you will pay the price for it , but well worth it . Total with tip for the three of us $254.00 The manager came by and chatted and the whole staff made it a very special experience for my sons birthday. I did notice they have several appetizer specials before 7pm as well as a sandwich menu that was very reasonably priced . We will definitely go back !!

Drinks were exceptional I love blue cheese olives in a perfectly dusty martini. The calamari however should have been crisp or lightly crisp and I hate to say it but they were completely soggy. The taste was there but the texture so yesterdays bag lunch.

Fleming's is one of those places that people don't go because they assume it's going to be too expensive. Well you know what they say about people who assume. :) I happen to be a giant fan of their happy hour menu (go ahead, judge me). Fleming's happy hour is where people go when their wallet says "no", but their stomach says "yes, yes yes!" Three reasons why I love their happy hour menu: 1) the menu goes until 7pm, seven days a week (practically unheard of). 2) the dishes on the menu are only $6. 3) I'd need a good excuse to eat here otherwise. They've got: Tenderloin Carpaccio, Sweet Chile Calamari, Wicked Cajun Barbecue Shrimp, Seared Ahi Tuna and Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail. While it's not immediately illustrated in the "5 for 6 'til 7" happy hour special, you can also get Fleming's signature Prime Burger with bacon and cheese for only $6. And hey, If you stroll in late and want to drop a few more beans, they also offer a pretty solid 3-course $39 pre-fixe menu. For the price, the food and drinks are amazing and a good excuse to eat there. The calamari is decent and the burger is gigantic and plentiful for just six bucks.

There are many choices in Providence for great steak, but Fleming's is top notch! Great atmosphere, great steaks and great service which is hard to get these days. Their made to order molten lava cake is to die for!

I was taken here for my birthday by my brother. We both had the prime rib, which nearly melted in my mouth. The servers were prompt and quite friendly. Plus, the family at the table behind us were quite humorous to listen to. Always good to have live entertainment.

Two words - SO GOOD!!!!! After having a gift certificate to Flemings for about a year which was about to expire, I used the certificate 3 days before the expiration date. And I must say, I am so thankful that I did! My filet was cooked so perfectly and the creamy corn which is a rare side dish was absolutely incredible! The mushrooms were a bit too peppery for me but my boyfriend absolutely loved them. He had ordered the lobster which was more than plentiful leaving leftovers. The wine menu is unbelievable so I just ordered something simple which I knew. I love the wine decor throughout the restaurant... Waiter service was wonderful and definitely has a nice ambiance. and I hope to go back soon for another occasion!

OH MY GOD! I don't even know where to start, this is my new favorite restaurant. Ron was the best waiter ever and the food was amazing. From the bread to the chocolate lava cake, everything was perfect. The filet was to die for! Based on yelp reviews we tried the chipotle mac n cheese and sweet chili calamari, definitely recommended. Can't wait to go back!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If you are going to dine there, ask for your waiter to be Rob M. He is FANTASTIC!. So knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. It was our anniversary dinner and we got a happy anniversary card signed by the staff and a box of truffles. Very nice and unexpected touch!

It took me quite a while but I finally made it back to the Providence Flemings and I must say my previous experience was proven to be an abberation. Tonight's dinner was outstanding in every aspect of service as well as the food. Cant wait to go back!

What can I say, it's Flemings, what would you expect. The food is amazing and their servers are 2nd to none. They do anything and everything you can ever imagine. Sign up for their email club, I get emails for $25 off all the time. Great deal....

This place is garbage dressed up in fancy clothes with waiter fake European accents knowing damn well they live in the slums of Providence. The food was over cooked and dry. To make up for it, they tried to pour on the oil. Seriously people!! What you pay for this place you can at least have a decent meal. Skip this sorry ass excuse for a restaurant and head over to Al Forno.

Enjoyed a great dinner at Fleming's last night. It was a special occasion and we booked a small private room. I highly recommend Fleming's private dining for special occasions. We had a lot of options and I'm glad we went this way. From beginning to end, the experience was top notch. Booking the room was a breeze, and Jennifer (who handles private dining) was easy to work with. The bartender greeted my wife and I with a handshake and introduced himself to both of us...and made a stiff drink. Matt, our waiter, was incredibly accommodating and attentive, taking time to make recommendations as appropriate and explain things if he sensed folks had questions about the menu or wine list. He was very perceptive. It would be easy for a place like this to be pretentious and it wasn't at any point. The food was fantastic. The calamari was good and the mushroom ravioli was excellent. Everyone raved about their steaks. My bone-in ribeye was one of the best I've ever had. I'm not normally easily impressed by steaks, but this was fantastic. All the sides (we tried more than half of them) were good, but most notable were the Fleming's potatoes, and the mac and cheese. We had a long, leisurely, fantastic dinner. We never felt rushed, and never felt unattended to. Perfect balance. As far as price goes, we all ate and drank liberally- many cocktails, sparkling water, a bottle of champagne, appetizers, steaks, and a little over the recommended 1 side dish per 2 people- and we got out of there for, with tip, around $100 per person. For the experience we had, this was a bargain. Over the years, I have eaten at nearly every fine dining steakhouse in Providence and Boston (and many elsewhere) and this was the best experience I have ever had. It was a very special occasion for our family, and Fleming's handled it flawlessly. In Providence, I will now choose Fleming's over Capital Grille or Ruth's Chris every time.

I happened to be in Providence to see a show and was using my Starwood points to stay at the Westin. This was back in December but I just have to write a review because the service in the bar is outstanding. The bar tenders were both super super nice. How can I put this the right way- Ive been to a lot of bars...ummm....well yeah, anyway- and these guys were so friendly, gave great food and drink recommendations. They were so awesome, we came back after the show for a nightcap. In the hopes the management ever reads this- you've got an awesome staff there!

I usually do not go out for steak, but this place has the absolute best steak in city. I got the bone in rib eye and it was awesome. My friend got the large filet, equally as good. They have 3 different kinds of mashed potatoes I told my waiter that I wanted all three and he offered to charge us for one side but have them make smaller portions of all three. All three orders were great. If you have money go here, if you don't have $250 for 2 people don't bother. I had a $22 glass of wine, it was good but $22 for a glass of wine is a lot.

Overall - Mediocre at best. The bar and ambiance in the restaurant are very nice. Our waiter was very helpful, but a bit too excitable. Started with the cold shellfish platter for two. Was simply OK, not spectacular. The seafood didn't seem extremely fresh. Neither of us got sick, but it just tasted like it had been sitting around for a little too long. Shared the Fleming salad next. Absolutely awful. It really irks me when restaurants allow brown lettuce to be served. At least half of the lettuce on the plate was brown. If that wasn't bad enough, it was also completely overdressed. I had the lite filet cooked medium, with a side of spinach instead of the scalloped potatoes it normally comes with because I wanted something a bit healthy. (Especially since we ordered the half and half - half onion rings and half fries as another side). Unfortunately the spinach was soaked in oil. The onion rings were good, but the fries were soggy. The steaks were just OK. They are wet aged, not dry aged. Of course the waiter tried talking up wet aged steaks over dry aged, but I know better. There are many restaurants in Providence that are far better, so I won't be returning.

Oh, Providence, I really like you. I had your Olneyville Wieners, Chez Pascal, Red Fez, Angkor, Lili Marlene's, Local 121, Providence Oyster Bar, even went to Tina's Jamaican...then I set foot in Fleming's. Should have stuck with local places and not a franchise. I had high hopes, for never having actually been to a Fleming's. Menu looked great. Ordered a ribeye, Fleming's salad, and an Old Fashioned. Pretty terrific. The first Old Fashioned was made with the bourbon I requested. The second was not. Hmm... Ribeye was cooked perfectly. Rare was exactly that. Fleming's salad...also very yummy. Amy, the waitress assigned to my table, managed to disappear after checking on me ONCE. At no point was I offered another drink....more water...or the delicious bread that I heard so much about Fleming's for. Oh, no, I had to ask other staff. And wouldn't you know it, they were extremely accommodating! I just spent over $100 for dinner for ONE. I don't expect you to bend over backwards to accommodate me. Just ask me how I'm doing every once and a while. See if I need anything. Be unobtrusive, not non - existent. Turns out that Amy had to pee, which she delightfully informed me of. I get it. Really. Everyone needs a bathroom break. So when you're done, wash your hands and check on your section. No such luck. Sorry Fleming's. You probably are every bit as consistently good as everyone says you are. And that ribeye was really amazing. But with Amy on your staff, you've lost a customer.

If you want a great meal with great service and not have a care in world that you'll get a sub-par meal for the price - this is your place. Have gone here many times and each time I go, it gets even better, and I didn't think that was possible! Steaks are cooked to perfection. Even my wife, who gets her steak cooked well done (Yuck!) says it still has flavor. I would think any steak cooked well done would be crispy, but no! The sides are great too. My favorites are the marinated mushrooms and asparagus! The chocolate lava cake is great too. Wash that all down with an expresso and crown royal, and you're good to go. Don't get me wrong, you'll pay for it when the tab comes - but who can put a pricetag on good food and service.

Let me start off by saying no one gets 5 stars unless they really outshine! I have to say the food here was fabulous, from the warm bread to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd courses! All fantastic! I got the sole, it was bland but only because all the other sides, and courses zing'd with flavor! The sole could have used more "something" maybe lemon, or some white wine with cream - who knows. It was still a wonderful meal right down to the finish with a little port and lava cake... and just a bite or two of the cheesecake! My biggest pit fall for this place is the cost of each meal (a la carte) without the superior service. A ticket price of at least $50 a head requires that everyone must go above and beyond. Our group was dressed in black, we asked three times to exchange the white linen napkins for black ones this should have been automatic. Even when the black napkins arrived there was one to the four dressed in black. The waitress or hostess should have immediately removed the white and replaced with the black. Water was only given to those who asked, once again should be an automatic. These are very small nit picky things but I think for the price they are not negotiable. I would absolutely go back for another taste and hope this review will give management an opportunity to raise the awareness of what people expect to accompany fine dining at Fleming's.

We love dining at Fleming's. While the food is always good (don't miss the chocolate lava cake - it is the BEST dessert I've ever had and I'm not even a chocoholic), what really makes us come back is the service. Our very first time there, we had CJ as our waiter, and we've asked for him every time we've gone back. CJ is the rare waiter who knows how to provide attentive, personal service without being over the top obsequious. He also knows how to handle difficult, high maintenance diners with aplomb, which we've on witnessed several occasions. As for the food, the steaks have always been prepared perfectly, and the appetizers are quite tasty. And again, definitely get the chocolate lava cake. My fiancee says she would go there for that dessert alone.

We went here for my husband's birthday recently and had one of the most amazing meals we have had in a while in terms of both the food and the service. The only "issue" that we had was because we were slightly early for the reservation, we had to wait about 10-15 minutes at the bar until our table was ready. Which was perfectly fine by us except that the bar is so tiny (and I mean really tiny) that we couldn't get near it to order a drink while we waited. The miniscule bar area is the reason one star is being deducted from what would be a 5-star rating. That being said however, we were seated as quickly as possible. When we were seated, the waiter offered birthday congrats to my husband (I had noted it was his birthday when making the reservation on line) and another one brought over a birthday card which had been signed by several of the staff. Nice touch. Waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine list . When we began to get overwhelmed by the possibilities on the 100 wine list, we asked our waiter for a recommendation and his suggestion did not disappoint (the Seghesio Sonoma Valley Zinfandel). We started off with the shrimp cocktail appetizer, followed by the petite filet mignon for me and the bone-in rib eye for hubby. OMG, the steaks were absolutely to die for! I have had many a steak, but not one like this in a very long time. We also had the roasted asparagus and a side of their blue cheese mashed potatoes. For dessert, we had coffee, two cordials, and split a chocolate lava cake. If you like chocolate, then it's definitely for you. Tasted like a rich dark chocolate brownie with a decadent dark chocolate sauce in the middle. Heavenly! Service was impeccable. Be forwarned, it is very pricey! Dinner for two ran (including app, wine, cordials, coffee and dessert) ran us approximately $215 pre-tip but we had planned for that as it was a special occasion. Definitely worth it! We will be back! PS. Definitely use the valet parking. I think it was something like $8 or $9 with validation.

Every time I say this husband says it's not fair because we have had many great meals but whatever, I will say it anyway: This was one of the best meals we've ever had. We had a GC gifted to us, and went to celebrate night 2 of our anniversary. Total splurge in every way imaginable. You know it's a good meal when the bread and the spreads that come with it make you want to cry with belly joy. We had the Louis Crab Wraps for an app- good and fresh and light. I had filet, he had ribeye. We shared Fleming's potatoes (holy artery clogging goodness) and mushrooms. For dessert, I had turtle pie which is just evidence of why I don't bother with packaged candy bars. Why? Why eat a candy bar that has been sitting for 6 months when you can eat an ooey gooey pie like this? He had cheesecake. We both had a lot of chantilly whipped cream which comes in a bowl to enhance the dessert experience. The wine list really does have 100 wines by the glass to choose from- it was great fun to have a bunch of different kinds. The restaurant was WARM- which some of you might agree is a wonderful thing when you want to wear sleeveless and not shiver the whole night. Waitress was chatty and super nice, and we had mentioned to her it was our anni the night before. They gave us 10% off our bill. We really didn't expect that, and thought it was just so nice. I have to start making up special occasions to go back. It's so good.

Went on a Friday night. Nice decor, but a little dark and cold. Service was good. I can't say excellent because of the obvious attempt by the waiter to upsell us on particular wines, side dishes and desserts. It got old after a while. Otherwise the servers were very attentive and accommodating. I ordered the bone-in ribeye medium rare, she got the petite filet mignon medium well. Also ordered a side of baby carrots. Her steak was great, well-seasoned and cooked to order. Mine was a different story. I have to preface this by saying that the waiter claimed it was a well-marbled piece of meat. That was a dirty, dirty lie. Marbling is not the same as a heterogeneous mixture of muscle and chunks of fat, which describes my steak. And holy cow (pun intended), how much salt does one actually need to mask the poor quality of the meat? A lot, if you're wondering. I must have gone through three glasses of water during my meal. I expected much, much more from a $50 steak. The side dish was a joke. We were told that these were meant to be shared. I'm not quite sure how two people share 7 baby carrots. 3-4? 4-3? They could have at least given us an even number. Then it would have come out to $1.12 per baby carrot instead of $1.29. I'm not that hard to impress, honestly. But I've had better steaks and side dishes at local pubs in NY. This place is not worth the trouble.

My wife and I planned for a nice evening to celebrate our anniversary at the newest steakhouse in Providence. Nice decor though the lighting is very muted, friendly wait staff and seemingly an interesting menu. My wife ordered the fillet mignon and I the house specialty and most expensive item - the bone -in rib eye. While my wife's dish was cooked as ordered though the taste was nothing special. The real shocker came when I was presented with the bone-in rib-eye which was close to a 20 oz. but clearly not an aged or generous cut! The steak was a half-inch thick at best, poorly charred and clearly not aged ! I could have purchased a better cut of meet at Stop&Shop. Our very polite server took our wine order though brought the wrong wine ! :'(( We didn't even bother to test the dessert... Will go to Ruth Chris' next time......

I have enjoyed every meal I've had at Fleming's. Tried a few different steaks and all have been perfectly prepared and flavorful, the Peppercorn and Ribeye standing out in my memory. Side dishes have all been very good and we really enjoyed the Mac & Cheese in particular. A very strong wine list allow you to complement any selection and while the higher-end bottles contain the standard restaurant markup, making them a little pricey, they do have a number of less expensive options that have also been very good. They also offer 100 wines by the glass and flights to allow you the opportunity to taste many different wines at a reasonable price. They seem to pay particular attention to their wine and I enjoy that! They even have tastings and events though I have yet to attend one. Service has always been attentive and friendly. Overall a great choice for a nice dinner out when spending time in the city. If I could do 4.5 stars I would, the only thing stopping them from being 5 stars for me is the aforementioned premium wine markup...were that 5-10% lower I'd beat 5 stars.
