I heard about this place from some co-workers so I decided to give it a shot. I had a sampler meal so I could try a few different items on the menu. My food arrived nearly 45 minutes after ordering & it was absolutely horrible! The pasta was overcooked & all the meat was tasteless. We left with full plates on the table & empty bellies. When we asked for the check we waited 13 minutes just for that. Truly a nightmare, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with tastebuds!

This restaurant has been around for as long as I can remember, but it never stood out as real Italian food. It comes across as a chain, nothing original and a basic, flat taste. It's the type of restaurant that it works in a pinch, but you'd never go out of your way to go there. Certainly nothing homemade. The service is always fine- no complaints there.

There are lot of places to get italian food in the area but this one is sadly only a step above Olive Garden. The pasta is over cooked, meat over cooked, sauce is boring and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Head down to Angelo's on the hill or go around the corner to Bella Pasta if your craving Italian...leave this place be.

My wife enjoyed her pasta dish but my steak was total garbage. Unseasoned, chewy and dry. Also, they do market pricing for their steak so you have to ask how much it is. We sat at the bar and waited 15 minutes to give our food order. Our server was quite abrasive.

The pizza is good just very greasy the grandpa seafood pasta is very good I usually get take out which the down fall is they are never accurate with when it will be ready so you are always stuck waiting there at least a good ten minutes

Stopped in last night. Excellent service and food. Can't go wrong with the selection and the prices. Our waiter Brenden was very friendly and professional. Our party of four Ordered Chicken Parm with Penne. Chicken plumb and sauce great, Stuffed Mushrooms, Chicken Barcelona, Grampa's Seafood, and Veal Parm. All dinners were delicious. Will go back soon!

Huge portions, large restaurant. If you're looking for a local place that serves classic Italian comfort food, this will do the job. Decent italian food, but expected more based on the fact that this place has a full 4/5 stars overall. Did not quite meet expectations. Bread could have been more fresh and higher quality. Tomato sauce could have also had more flavor/spices. Decor and vibe of restaurant is nice, service was friendly and fast.

I've driven by Spumoni's more times that I can count. It's never peaked my interest, simply because I don't associate Pawtucket/East Providence with Italian food. After attempting to try Bella Pasta for the first time (only to find their Sunday hours had changed) and seeing a nearly full parking lot ventured in craving a satisfying meal. Our server (Chris) was fan fantastic and attentive. Offered suggestions for my less than ordinary ordering style. Unfortunately that's about all the good I can say. The app sample platter came out a bit under temperature, and everything seemed like it was bulk produced, frozen product. Simple order on my end, "The Roma". Penne pasta with marinara and sausage links (3). It was a good portion, but the sauce, to me, was less than impressive. The sausage was decent, the pasta was a bit undercooked. I confiscated my sons meatball, but it too tasted like bagged meat. Also at the table, bland Caesar salad, equally plain Alfredo, stuffed shrimp that was better without the included butter, and delicious-but cold- bread. Nice, clean place. Good service. But I'm sticking to Portuguese food when I am out this way.

I am sorry Spumoni's, you did nothing to separate yourself from Olive Garden down the street. My GF made a good point that actually Olive Garden edges you out with their breadsticks. Spumoni's does have nice combo meals with the tours of italy, however these dishes feature nothing spectacular (and doesn't Olive Garden also do a Tour of Italy?). They try to go on their own by offering seafood, however the prices are so astronomical for "fresh" seafood that you can't even enjoy it. Their calamari that was loaded with peppers was not too bad, although the calamari itself was pretty greasy (bad since it slides out of the breading if it is too greasy). Our waitress seemed a little out of it at times. And a huge pet peeve of mine that restaurants do is hand you a take out dish and make you spoon the dishes into it. I will give some waitstaff the benefit of the doubt if it is busy. However, we were having a bit of an early dinner and she had maybe 3-4 tables if that. No excuse to pull this move. Also, another move that sort of angered me is that you advertise fried clams outside. I did not see one item on the menu with fried clams or on special. *shakes head* Sorry Spumoni's you look decent from the outside. But in reality you are trying to be Olive Garden and you fail on all accounts.

Well from the recent review, we decided to recently go back. I brought my sister and her boyfriend out for the night and we all bought baked stuffed lobsters. The stuffing was still phenomenal! I love it. However, the stuffing for the stuffed mushrooms was a bit bland compared to the lobster. The tollhouse dessert was also a big let down for us, I remember it used to be so moist and doughy but now it's just like a rock. I kept the 5 stars because I still love me my baked stuffed lobster. We also ordered calamari this time and it was alright, not the best I've eaten or close to it. I'll attach more pictures.

Amazing food and service! The food is a little on the pricy side, but they give you so much we had leftovers for the next couple days. The staff was very friendly and very quick to refill our drinks when we needed them. Overall, very impressed.

My friend and I arrived around 6:30 PM on a Saturday night. The restaurant was moderately busy but not overly so. We were seated promptly and our waitress was wonderful. The good news stops there. At our servers suggestion we ordered the Calamari Giovanni, which was served up quickly and hot, surrounded by banana peppers, olives and tomatoes. The calamari rings themselves however were wet and the consistency of thick rubber bands. For entrées we ordered the frutti Del Mare and the fisherman's baked, stuffed lobster. The frutti del mare was served over pasta. The seafood portion looked pale and unappetizing, and was well under seasoned. The lobster was an even bigger disappointment. Although it did have scallops and shrimp inside, the cracker stuffing comprised most of the body and the tail was incredibly tough and dry. The claws were extremely difficult to crack as they were so dried out and were not even worth my time. This was my third visit to this restaurant, having been there twice before with others. My previous two visits were not memorable. We will definitely not be returning and I suggest that if you want a good seafood dinner you look elsewhere.

We went for the lunch buffet and it was delicious with lots of variety including chicken Marsala, manicotti, meatballs, Italian sausage, baked scrod, and a few other items. Sometimes buffets have lower quality food however this was certainly not the case here. You could also tell that there were many regulars who came in for lunch which is usually a good sign. I would say service was just okay which is the reason for the four-star rating. I would certainly return and recommend to others.

The service is good but not outstanding . Our waitress disappeared at time and did not know an answer to a question about the drink specials. They also make you put the left overs in your take home trays. Very generous portions and decent prices. The liguinie and the sauce were excellent. After 8pm they have 50% off appitasers , so I tried the calamari which tasted very fresh . I also ordered the Italian pu pu platter. The sausage was dry and over cooked , the meatballs were small but tasty, they ravioli and manicotti stuffed with roccott cheese tasted homemade and fresh. The veal was tuff and chewy. If I were to go back again I would just have the liguinie and sauce. Also their Italian bread was sub par maybe 1 1/2 stars at best very disappointing for an Italian resturante.

It's not the Olive Garden and that's a REALLY good thing. We stopped into Spumoni's on a Sunday evening after Winter Wonderland at Slater Park. I wasn't expecting the food to be fantastic so I stuck with eggplant parmesan and it was very tasty. My husband got the baked stuffed shrimp and I was not impressed. The shrimp was dry and the stuffing too sweet. My MIL got lobster and steamers which she really enjoyed. The kids split a pizza which was very average. My younger son neglected the pizza to sample the clams and lobster. Despite the fact that the food isn't fantastic, it's way better than Olive Garden. To me, there's no comparison. I would rather eat at the local place. The service was great, the food was fine if you stick to what they do well. It was a nice experience and I would definitely be back for a casual family dinner.

I have been going here since I can remember. It has changed physically throughout the years but to me, for the better. Not a fancy place, but very roomy and clean. Its classic family style italian food. HUGE portions, the menu doesn't change so much. The pasta dishes are Ok. its kind of plain sauce, but it is not bad. I prefer the seafood meals when I come here, fresh clams & Lobster. Its a nice place to sit down for a family meal, you will have enough to bring home and there is something on the menu for everyone. we use to always have our Easter family dinners here, its great for a big crowd. Ive also attended some work events here. Again, I will say the sauce is OK..and being an Italian chic, thats usually what makes or breaks it for me. as my father what say ya "gotta have a good gravy"....not the brown stuff..he means tomato sauce, lol. I will continue to come here, with my family years to come.

We were supposed to go out for a fancy Friday night dinner but after several post work activities and whatnot, it was 9:30 and this chic needed to EAT! We drove by spumoni's and I pointed ''there''...that tri colored, light up sign, to the fairly large local mom and pop restaurant was where we would have dinner. Typical, family style booth welcomed us along with a friendly hostess and even friendlier waitress. The menu had lots of Italian options of the traditional feasts and the food was okay. I had the meatballs over pasta and really, you just can't mess that up! It also came with a less than exciting iceberg salad altho when in Rome...as they say. It was perfectly fine and good food and fit the bill! Will I dine here on a regular basis - no...is it a great local family please - yes! BONUS - we got three mini desserts to go and they were incredible!

Amazing high quality Italian food at a reasonable price. Also, they give out awesome coupons via email, once you sign up. I usually get a buy one entree, get one free, monthly. That's an additional, awesome value! A cozy, dimly lit atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff make for a pleasant dining experience.

This place is our go to place. The lunch buffet is awesome, the pizza is great, and everything else is fantastic. I've had my Spumonis card for 10 years and it is a great bargain. Thanks to everyone at Spumonis for giving me and my family a great place to visit after all these years.

  • M L.

I was not very impressed on my visit I got the Trio meal with chicken parm, lasagna, raviolis, and a salad. Lasagna was not good, raviolis ok and parm just ok. Decent bar set up, but not good for beers on Tap or bottle. The Lobster special was $35 for two lobsters this seems very pricing for this time of year especially when they are $4-6 a pound, regular menu was fairly cheap.

    (2)
  • Michael B.

I like this place. Its run by a family. The food is good and the price is right. They have plenty of parking and seating. I eat there about every three months but I absolutely love their takeout pizza.

    (4)
  • Carolyn W.

I ordered the shrimp cocktail and got soggy, tiny shrimp on a tin plate with a plastic cup of essentially ketchup. I finished my meal there. This cannot possibly be a four star restaurant. The service was slow. My friend's food was cold and the sauce was bad. When lobster was down to $4.99 a pound in the State, the restaurant still sold their twin lobster special for $26.

Since the previous owner gave this restaurant to his son, it has been fantabulous. I love to go here! The food and atmosphere are great. I have been eating here for years and I would say that they are extremely consistent.

I'm starting to enjoy their pizza more these days. But they always overcook it (all these browny cheese bits on top) and it's not very spicy unless there are toppings. Be forewarned!

Holding solid at #3 in The Great Chicken Parm Caper! Spumoni's has been in Pawtucket for, like, ever. And it has been running the Lobstermania promotion for, like, ever. I think half of the economy in the Bucket is built on the success of this restaurant, as it seems to be recession-proof. The parking lot is full each evening and is packed to such capacity on weekends it becomes a hazard. I would know: I hit a parked car in the lot in my Buick Riviera when I was fifteen. Anyhoo. Spumoni's is a genius business because it offers just what its customers want, and (like many things in the Bucket) what they want has not changed in years: consistency, large portions, and great pricing. They have specials and deals galore, and are always running some sort of 'get a pile of food for mad cheap' promotion. I'm sure there have been tweaks to the menu here and there (for one, I know the salads were created because one of the managers is very health-conscious), but the menu has a fundamental core that has not budged their ingredients in twenty- or thirty-plus years. Is it good, though? Sure. It's just what you would expect for a hometown Italian joint run by a Greek family. Nothing mind-blowing, but if you find comfort in classic Italian food, you'll find them all here. The parmigiana is solid, the Milanese is very rich and potentially has crack in it because I crave it all the time, the pizza can hold its own against the other pizza in the neighborhood. I've also heard people rave about the Frutti del Mare and other seafood dishes. I like that they offer a combo platter that you can design yourself - so even when I was in there for the Great Chicken Parm Caper, I could get my Veal Milanese fix. Take two or three of your favorite classic Italian preparations and slap them into one dish. That's hot.

  • Paul W.

Decent place and menu. Linguini and clams sauce and steamers were good. Clean and open spaces with a good amount of parking. Portions are very large - most look like at least two meals, and I can eat! I'd go back to try some other items. Service was pretty good until we we're waiting for our change, but that is minor because I was not in a rush. Waiter was prompt to make changes per several customer requests to items ordered. Bottom line, give it a try.

  • Jess M.

We've gone to Spumoni's a number of times and have always enjoyed ourselves. For a family restaurant, the drinks are great and they have a decent variety of beers. The food can be hit or miss, wherein I mean that it's either amazing or nothing particularly special. It's definitely better than Olive Garden just down the street, with comparable prices. The staff is always a delight. Good place for young adults to take visiting parents from out of town to dinner.

    (4)
  • Caitlin F.

I normally end up going to Spumonis at least once a month to support a local non-chain restaurant and I enjoy pretty much everything I've ever had. I absolutely adore the Chicken Escarole Soup and Fried Ravs! Service is always nice, especially in the bar/lounge area.

    (4)
  • Kim B.

My husband & I have been going to Spumoni's for a long time. We usually go out for dinner once or twice a week and we always end up there...probably because it feels like a "Cheers" to us. We always feel welcomed and like we are part of a big family. We love sitting at the bar because the service is phenomenal! The food is amazing too! The same can be said for the service when sitting at a table. What we love about the food is that it is always fresh. It's not frozen, preheated meals. I've never gotten a bad meal there and the white chowder is delicious. So if you are looking for a good place to eat a reasonably priced meal...and if you are like me, you will have some left over to take home, then don't overlook Spumoni's.

  • Pat Z.

This is a great restaurant with great food. Wait-staff are friendly, quick and ready to please. It has become a regular stop for us. Italian specialities are good and tasty - seafood is fresh and out of this world. I have never been disappointed! Nice coupon specials as well.

A-OK really describes it. Not bad not noteworthy either. The portion sizes however are worth mentioning. I can eat but crazy portion sizes, lunch for the next day and be super full then. The prices are decent as well. The staff is friendly and helpful and we had a huge party so I can't image how great they'd be with a simple party of four.

I do not know what it is about this place that I enjoy. I make an effort to not go here because I think that I woud be here everyday. I really enjoy that they offer such a wide range of food. They have a card that you can apply for, and after 3 times that you visit you get 15 offf your meal... not bad at all .... check them out.

Spumoni's is the pride of Pawtucket. Awesome staff, friendly as can be and food is really good. Everything is fairly priced but the owner George does have a huge nose, but thats because he is Greek it's not his fault.

  • Kara D.

My friends and I love this place for trivia! Every Tuesday night at 7:30, we go here for a meal and some fun. The wait-staff is super friendly, especially since we've become regulars. I usually order a glass of wine and dessert for dinner, and their desserts are fantastic. The apple crisp is enormous (!!!) and inexpensive. I definitely recommend this place for a group night out.

    (4)
  • Kristin C.

We have a weekly tradition of eating at Spumoni's. The food is good, not fancy or astounding just good. What impresses me most is the attentiveness of the bar staff. The bar staff take interest in their customers. They make an effort to personally know the customers, they remember what you drink and your order if you are not the type to vary from visit to visit. Due to their exemplary service, the bar is usually crowded with regulars so it's less like going to a restaurant and more like having a weekly dinner with friends. If you are looking for a stable local restaurant with good food, you found your place.

Was absolutely the worst meal I have ever eaten. This restaurant needs a total overhaul. The decor is dated, the carpet is worn, the booths are uncomfortable and the food was awful. The only positive was the bread, which comes from an outside bakery. Our waitress was nice, but we were seated back to back with another couple, despite there only being 3 parties in the entire restaurant. The booths are so close that we literally heard every word of the other couples conversation and felt like we were intruding on their dining experience (My bf actually answered a question they had about the menu, since they seemed confused about the specials.) I ordered the Shrimp Spumoni, which tasted like spaghetti with tons of butter. The pasta was overcooked and the shrimp was tasteless. My bf ordered the veal parm and said it tasted like it was previously frozen and extremely rubbery. We were so disappointed that we didn't even take our leftovers home with us and I hardly ate any of my meal. I am not a picky eater and have never given a bad review before, but I will never eat here again and am baffled by all the positive reviews. Unfortunately from the second we walked in, all I could think about was Restaurant Impossible should come help this restaurant revive itself. If you are in the area and looking for a place to eat, I would strongly suggest going to Olive Garden over this place.

It's becoming tradition to go to Spumoni's with a bunch of people each January for my friend's birthday. He like's it but I'm not really that impressed. I like to order something with cream sauce when I go out for Italian because I can buy dozens of different red sauces when I make pasta at home. At Spumoni's I had a hard time finding anything on the menu with a cream sauce. One good thing about their menu is that they have six different "Tour of Italy" combinations. After everyone went home, I was left with someone's leftover pizza that i had for lunch the next day. Pretty good pizza. Overall I'd have to agree with Jef S., It's not much better than the Olive Garden that's about 1/4 mile down the road in S Attleboro. Most days I'd probably choose Olive Garden over Spumoni's.

This place has made a huge comeback since their renovation. Great service, classy atmosphere without the snobbishness, and solid food. The pizza is delicious, although the fettucini alfredo could still use a little adjustment-- it comes off a bit too oily, but all-in-all, a safe bet to bring your friends. Also, cheap beers at night!

Delicious food and reasonable priced. Im biased though, worked here through college and made great money! Family run since 1978. Great seafood, pizza, and chicken parm! Nice new bar area w/ tv's to watch the game. Enjoy!

I enjoyed this family friendly restaurant. This was our first visit. Our waiter was wonderful, courteous and extremely friendly. I had the chicken escarole soup and the baked stuffed lobster. She had the chicken tenders. The soup was a wee bit salty but still good and chock full of chicken. The baked stuffed lobsters were really good especially for the price. It was stuffed with blue shell crab meat, shrimp and scallops. The stuffing was moist and tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. The chicken tenders were standard but with a heaping portion of French fries the little one was happy. We will definitely go back and try other items on the menu.

I was skeptical...it's a sketchy neighborhood and we'd never been there but decided to give it a try. Boy are we glad we did. They have a brand new menu with a new option...full course meal for either 13.99 or 14.99 depending on what you pick. For this price, you get a glass of wine or mug of beer (or soda, coffee or tea), a soup or salad, a personal sized appetizer and your meal. The BEST 14.99 I ever spent. The waitstaff were friendly, a manager/owner? came by to chat, the food was plentiful and flavorful, and left us dying to go back to try more dishes from the list! We both had the mushroom appetizer, 4 large stuffed mushrooms, and I had the shrimp spumoni, which was basically shrimp with garlic/butter sauce and tomatoes, and the shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. Hubby had veal parm, nice sauce, not a huge portion but certainly plentiful enough, I had enough left to bring home for another meal but he did not, which is fine, as we enjoyed both dishes immensely!

Spumoni's, what happened to you? I used to love coming here now I'm very disappointed. Stopped by for lunch today with my girlfriend. We got sat right away, a couple minutes passed then our waitress came by to take our order. She ordered the chicken parm and I got an antipasto. Took a little longer to come out then expected (considering the place was dead). Her chicken was a decent sized portion for lunch and tasted "ok" (her words) but said the sauce tasted like it came out of a can. My antipasto was horrible. It was almost a soup with the amount of water left on the plate from the lettuce, I couldn't even taste the dressing, the only thing that made it edible was the skimpy amount of meat and cheese on it. Came with a side dish of some sort of bean salad that tasted rancid. That was just the food. Our waitress was even worse. Only came by to take the order, bring the food and get the check...We were the only ones seated in her section! After we were done eating we waited while she hung out behind the bar with the other waitresses BS'ing. She took our card for payment and disappeared for 20 mins before bringing back the receipt. Would of been better off with our first decision and went to Subway.

Went to Spumoni's tonight with my boyfriend for dinner for the first time. It took a while to be greeted and service was a little strange. Our server was super casual and seemed to either be new to serving or just very nonchalant. He did keep our drinks filled and quickly cleared empty dishes so no real complaints. My boyfriend ordered the pupu platter with a Cesar salad and penne pasta. I ordered the 3 course with chicken parm, stuffed mushrooms and a garden salad. Everything came in huge portions! It was enough food for at least 4 people. I didn't like the mushrooms, they had no crab flavor whatsoever. The rest of our food was excellent, though! The sauce was full of flavor, the chicken and meatballs were moist and the pasta was a perfect al dente. I will say the bread was cooler than room temperature and lacked any flavor. It would have been nice if it was warm and more flavorful. It's free bread though so it's no big concern. The best thing about the meal was the price! My whole meal was only 14.99 which included my drink, salad, app and entree. You really can't beat that especially due to the quality and portion sizes. We will most certainly be returning and recommending!

We went to dinner here for the first time last night. It was a Saturday night, super busy, yet they were extremely accommodating in seating our party of 19 and the wait was minimal. We had a hockey team with 10 loud and rowdy boys and the staff couldn't have been nicer regarding the elevated noise level and commotion. They nicely went over to the boys table to remind them to keep their voices down and talked at their level which made the kids respond to them even more. There was a table of elderly women in the same section as us who were hurling insults re: the parent's lack of parenting and the rudeness of the kids. Management reminded them that Spumonis is a family establishment and wound up comping their meals (which is really what they were after to begin with). Rather than be annoyed with us for having to deal with these "ladies" they were totally on our side and assured us that we were a large group with an expected noise level given all the kids. Add in the fact that the food was great and came out quickly and that our wait staff was AMAZING (thank you Joanne and Zack) we would all go back to Spumonis in a heart beat!

Great Customer Service, especially by Alyssa! We had so many questions which she answered with a smile and absolutely no sign of any impatience! Thank you so much, you made our dinner an wonderful experience! The food was great and in large quantities. We ordered the The Tuscany (Baked Lasagna, Chicken Parmigiana, and Cheese Ravioli), The Sicilian (Cheese Manicotti in house-made marinara, Fettucini Alfredo in house-made cream sauce, and Chicken Parmigiana), Four Cheese Pizza, and Chicken Marsala. We had enough left over for lunch today!

Everything they serve here is great. From the bread which they bake them selves, to the steamers and the baked scrod, to the array of pastas (love the ravioli), to the pizza to the fried chicken to the steak and hamburgers. Great food all of it, they do a multitude of combo and custom platters. Fully stocked bar, at least six wide screen tv's as well as keno game screens. Plenty of parking but fills up fast on the weekends.

I've been a big fan of Spumoni's for many years so of course it was on our restaurant list when we were back in town. Party of 6 on a Monday night at 5:00. We were seated right away and the restaurant was pretty quiet. We had a very personable and attentive server. He reviewed the specials, made a couple of recommendations and happily accommodated my Mom's request for a fried seafood platter, as opposed to broiled. We had an order of littlenecks for an appetizer and they were s fresh and cooked perfectly! Entrées were Baked Stuffed Shrimp, Combo Platter (Chicken Parmesan, Ravioli, Lasagna), Fried Seafood Platter, Eggplant Parmesan, Sausage & Peppers Parmesan, and Chicken Marsala. Everyone have their meals high praise. The prices are affordable and the servings are large. Spumoni's still knows how to do it right! Can't wait until our next visit.

I love love love this place! The first time I went was when i moved to the area and my husband and sister in law surprised me by taking me there for my birthday dinner. And my hubby and our son and I have been back a few times since! We had such a fantastic server the last time. I cant remember his name but he has a baby on the way and we had our baby with us so we chatted about that. He was so personable and accomodating. And the food there is so comforting and yummy. I love love love their food, especially the eggplant and the lasagna. And the ambience there is great if you have children. Lots of families go there and its just a very family like vibe. Yumminess. We will be back.

The greeters were young kids and not trained well. Excellent service from our waitress, Andrea. She was knowledgeable of the menu, was very polite and truly looked like she enjoyed her work. The Caesar salad was cold and fresh. My buddy's wife had a gluten free pizza that she said was delicious. I had the shrimp spumoni and it was perfect. My buddy hD the chicken parm and my friend had the penne with sausage and chicken. Big portions and prepared well. Rich and flavorful. Try the Margaronas. Nice place in The Bucket.

Yup that's right I gave it a one star. Went for lunch and the food was very taste list. My husband had the special. Which was a meatball sandwich with a cup of chowder. The chowder was very thick and not much flavor. The bread on the sandwich was partly burned. I had the clams over linguini. You can tell that they use can clams and the sauce had no flavor. It said spicey tomato sauce but where was the spice? The restaurant was clean but the booths need up dating. My booth was all ripped. If this is a Italian restaurant then where is the spice and where was the garlic. And the bread they gave was not fresh. Sorry will not go back. The food was bland. For the money it was not worth it.

I'm a life long Pawtucket resident up until the last 6 years now I made it over the state line in south Attleboro mass !! So that said spumonis is a iconic restaurant from the days of lobstermania of 20 years ago when you could get a single lobster for 5.95$ with a side and salad + Italian bread that's out of this world .. But my go to dish is gramps seafood special or maybe the veal parmigiana with zitt .. But if you haven't been in at lunch time between. 1130am and 130pm you have to try the lunch buffet !!! Well worth the price and your time .. Try it out you won't believe how great it is.. Thanks again spumonis I'll be back any chance I get !! Ps try the pizza Togo

There lucky I give them one star. There was not a long wait but it was loud. When we got seated our waiter was slow slow slow. Took him 20min to get me my drink. The food was bland, I got the shrimp scampi and it had no flavor, boild noodles that's it. The people behind me where so loud and rude. I could not even hear my wife. The waiter took forever to bring the check. I will not go again and would never ever recommend that place. I would rather sit and wait at the olive garden, at least the service is fast and the food is good. Never again!

My wife & I have been coming here for several years. We have brought our whole family (Kids, Grandkids, in-laws etc.) on many occasions and have always had a pleasant experience. The food is always fresh a very good. My favorite dish there is the Chicken Marsala. The service is always good, fast and very responsive. That said, I have no problem giving them a five star rating. Thank you

Great Italian food! Love the chicken parm and cheese rav! Great prices and a warm inviting atmosphere. Great function room available. I had my baby shower there and it was fantastic. The food was perfect and they let you decorate as you like.

Driven by this restaurant for many years, decades even! Finally stopped in... Service was quick, friendly and comforting! The food seemed a little too rushed for my liking? I feel it was a bit undercooked, and in particular to my seafood dish, way too overstuffed with cracker stuffing! Kind of killed the meal... I would definitely go back again, and maybe have a better experience, "meal wise" next time!!! Stay tuned.....

A very rough start. Ordered a Bacardi and Coke. Waiter came back said "Out of Bacardi ". Ok. Ordered the steak. Came back totally raw. Sent it back. After it was cooked again it was perfection. All is well. Will I come back again. Not Sure but gave it 3 stars

Well, the food tastes better than it looks. Not sure how you want to take that. Went here for a xmas party for my husbands work. We had the upstairs room to ourselves, which I gotta say, they need some speakers up there to play a little music for some ambiance. Like, they REALLY need to do that. We did a buffet style thing. All the food tasted good, but again, it looked kinda sad. Service was also slow. We had one guy running up and down the steps to get us drinks and it just took awhile. I'd give it another go though.

Meh. Good for pasta dishes, but don't expect your steak or salmon to be cooked to your likings. The server will most definitely ask you how you want your steak, but back in the kitchen I think they just say "fuck it" and cook everything medium. This happened quite a few times, so we have up. But the pasta is good!

My family & I come here a few times a year. Food is pretty good, but nothing show-stopping. The one thing I really love from here are the steamers...they are awesome. The seafood pasta in red sauce is pretty yummy too...but HUGE! Right now, kids eat free on Mondays...very appealing to this mom of 3 Also, join their email club for coupons. Every now & then, a really good one comes along. They also have s frequent diner program . You pay for it, but it pays for itself, plus some, if you go there often enough.

When searching for a beautiful Easter Brunch you wont go wrong with Spumonis ( spumonisrestaurant.com/d… ) in Pawtucket RI. Many people have visited Spumonis for dinner or their lunch buffet but nothing compares to their Easter brunch. I have attending this Easter Brunch for the last 4 years. Every year is just at good as the year previous. I must warn you, making reservations here for Easter brunch is a NIGHTMARE!!! Ugh, luckily I love this brunch as much as I do because otherwise the lack of accommodation and the rudeness of the management taking these reservations would totally turn me off!! I called the beginning of March to make our Easter reservations after 15 minutes of being on hold and being passed from employee to employee and then passed to management I was told they would not take my reservation for 4 people- I must have at least 5 people in my party. I called a week later and made a reservation for 5 people (even though we knew we would not have that many people.) Once we made the reservation the restaurant called 3-4 times to confirm our reservation, one of which was on Easter morning while we were sitting in Church. This would totally make sense if they were booked solid and packed on Easter morning, however in the last 4 years that I have been there it has never been this busy to excuse their lack of accommodation and nagging phone calls reconfirming the reservation 3-4 times!! Now onto the beautiful, delicious Easter Brunch!! The food was fabulous, and had a wonderful variety. From breakfast items, eggs, french toast, bacon, and sausage to Italian specialties chicken marsala, chicken parm, meatballs, and a variety of seafood dishes, as well as a carving station with ham and roast beef! All the food was nicely organized and kept at the perfect serving temperature - which is not always the case with buffets. hisandhersreviewspot.tum…

This place is our go to place. The lunch buffet is awesome, the pizza is great, and everything else is fantastic. I've had my Spumonis card for 10 years and it is a great bargain. Thanks to everyone at Spumonis for giving me and my family a great place to visit after all these years.

That's hot.

Spumoni's is the pride of Pawtucket. Awesome staff, friendly as can be and food is really good. Everything is fairly priced but the owner George does have a huge nose, but thats because he is Greek it's not his fault.

I normally end up going to Spumonis at least once a month to support a local non-chain restaurant and I enjoy pretty much everything I've ever had. I absolutely adore the Chicken Escarole Soup and Fried Ravs! Service is always nice, especially in the bar/lounge area.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
