Awesome food and a great happy hour. I enjoy eating there all the time. My only disappointment is they aren't open for lunch. I end up going to the capital grille in king of Prussia and regret it every time. So it's Ruth Chris for lunch and Flemings for dinner. Try their burrata. It's amazing

This is a high class establishment. The service is excellent and I think the food is great as well. We went for our anniversary and they gave us a small box of 4 generously sized truffles to take home (we went a few years ago and they did the same). I had a 6 oz filet that was very tender- yes- like butter. It was a special that came with a small crabcake and a few shrimp. The molten lava cake for dessert- very good although a little burnt on one edge. Will definitely go back another time.

Those yelpers who went here without ordering steak, I hear ya - the french fries here were really lame! But seriously, I will spare the reader with the obvious comparisons to Sullivan's, Ruth's Chris, Morton's, and the Capital Grille - mostly because the only reason I was inspired to go here was a free $40 gift card sent to me by my credit card company, and I haven't been to those other places. Nonetheless... Fleming's offers valet parking, but as it was a Monday night there was plenty of parking right around the corner, so we walked 50 feet and saved the $5-$10 tip. We were seated in a small 2 person booth adjacent to the bar with (surprise) red leather seats and plenty of wood paneling. The dining room was dimly lit, giving all the wood trim in the room a warm glow. For starters came fresh bread with a sun-dried tomato or Gorgonzola butter. There was an iPad on the table if you wanted to look more closely at their wine list. When we finished the bread another loaf appeared without having to ask. My guest and I shared the Burrata for our appetizer, which sounds like a new offering from Taco Bell, but is actually a jar of mozzarella and cream - it was paired with charred grape tomatoes and some very tasty wild arugula. Save a little bread and you can keep the party rolling after you finish the few toasted crostinis. Up next, the entrees, a battle of two medium rare ribeyes: the craftsman prime vs. the prime bone-in. I was told the craftsman was a center cut of a ribeye and was thus more tender. It was certainly a thicker piece of meat upon arrival. My guest and I gave the bone-in an A, while I'd give my craftsman a B+ or B. The few bites that were truly delicious came from my sampling of the bone-in. I believe my steak was under-seasoned - at least it was to my taste. As for gristle I counted 3 or 4 times I was struggling with the meat of the craftsman. We also ordered two sides, with the side of fries being truly ordinary as can be, as well as being really lame, while the Fleming's potatoes were a very tasty scalloped dish with hints of jalapeno. Finally, we tried the molten chocolate cake - note that it must be ordered before the end of the meal, as it takes 20 minutes to prepare. The flavor profile was that of your basic brownie, with a warm, moist to wet ("molten") center. If chocolate lava was supposed to come oozing from that center it sadly houdinied itself from our piece. That being said, the ice cream, fresh cream, raspberries, and pistachios were a nice touch. Overall, some pretty good steaks, even if I got the short end of the steak this time. If their 1600 degree cooking can be topped in Philly I will let you know sometime in the future.

Fleming's at Radnor is real-life proof that just because it's owned by Outback, it doesn't mean it serves Outback-style steaks. For its reasonably priced and properly prepared USDA prime, you will not be disappointed. For those looking for a great steak but prefer to eat the recommended "deck-of-cards" portion, Fleming's has a petite filet that should be just what you're looking for. (Tip: check out their website for specials -- for example, reservations for some special occasions can result in a $25 Fleming's gift card towards your next meal.) -pinkposy

Great steaks. Great service, even if they ask you every 3 minutes if everything is fine. Great atmosphere, even if you can get better lighting in a movie theater. I guess that's what they call ambiance. The food really is fantastic.

My wife and I were here at Fleming's this Friday evening (4/10/15). Neither of us eat steak and so the choice of Fleming's appears a bit surprising. It can however be explained by the fact that we had a $40 gift card from AmEx and were therefore willing to give this place a shot. I made a reservation through OpenTable for 9 p.m. and once in, I was seated promptly. The matron left a tablet at the table so that I could look through the wine list and order wines but I gave that a pass. Between my wife and I we decided to go with an appetizer - sweet chile calamari, a small plate - Gulf Shrimp and Sea Scallops and a large plate - the Chilean sea bass. Of these three dishes, I enjoyed the sweet chile calamari the most, with the Chilean sea bass a second. I definitely did not enjoy the Gulf Shrimp and Sea Scallops which lacked any flavor and seasoning. I had to season it with more than a pinch of salt, even though it turns out that I am generally a low-salt person. Also, I found the portion sizes quite small. There were only two medium-sized scallops and two shrimps in the small plate and while the entree included a reasonably-sized portion of the sea bass, it came without any carbs.Neither the small plate nor the entree came with any sides which is unusual. We also tried out a dessert and went with their chocolate lava cake. That was by far the best dish of the evening and something my wife and I truly enjoyed. It was rich and decadent without being overly sweet. The molten center of Belgian chocolate was delicious and as we finished up the dessert, we remarked that this was the kind of dish which alone might justify a trip to the restaurant. That said, when I think about my overall meal, I would say that the lack of flavor in the small plate combined with the small portion sizes all across the board left me quite unsatisfied. I also found our server, Angela (?) to be attentive but quite unfriendly and cold. Now my commentary needs to be considered along with the fact that I did not have steak here and therefore your experiences should you choose to go may be different. Given my experiences though, I am however unlikely to return to Fleming's any time soon.

This is a hard review to write. We've been to this Flemings 4 times in the last 6 months. The first time we went, in November '14, it was honestly in my top 5 meals of all time. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was delicious and worth every penny. The Hubster ordered a dry aged strip cooked medium and it came out perfectly. I ordered the pork chop, which seems like an odd choice for a steakhouse, but it was nothing short of Devine. We ordered a few sides, the creamed corn (fantastic) and potatoes and asparagus. The Flemings potatoes were good but dry, and there was nothing special about the asparagus- I cook them better at home. Dessert was the cheesecake -eh -and the walnut turtle pie, which was the table favorite. Overall, delicious meal and left the restaurant excited to return. Especially since when you go to celebrate a special occasion, they give you a box of truffles and a $25 giftcard to return! Fast forward to my birthday at the end of January. I couldn't wait to celebrate again! When we returned, we had a hiccup or two with our meal, but nothing horrible. We ordered the deliciousness that they call a pork chop, a small plate scallop dish and my husband ordered a bone in strip. The pork chop and the scallop came out fine. My husband got the wrong steak delivered. No bone to be seen... It was still cooked well, but it was not what we ordered. It was mentioned to the server and an apology was given. The manager also came by to apologize, and to offer a change if needed. We declined, as the steak was fine, just not what was ordered. They offered us two complimentary desserts to make up for the error. We had to do the walnut turtle pie again...and this time we tried their lava cake. I'll be honest, it's nothing special, although it's their signature dessert, I didn't enjoy it at all! We were once again given a $25 card and truffles to return since it was my birthday. Now, in March, the Hubster and I went on a date! Sadly, this time we noticed a big menu change! They took several favorites off the menu and it doesn't look near as fun anymore. We went on a Sunday and I had their prime rib special which is a fantastic deal! A salad, prime rib with a side and dessert for $35! Hubster ordered a bone in ribeye. Both main courses were delicious. I had mentioned to our server that the last time we were there, it was my birthday... And I don't know if he misunderstood but my dessert came out with a candle and he brought me another box of truffles and a $25 card. I told him it wasn't my birthday and he just smiled and said we can celebrate any time! Well, here's where my big issue came in- and the big reason for 3 rather than 4 stars. We made reservations for Easter Brunch. My family was super excited to eat a different type of meal here! My 2 adults and 2 kids were seated at a table with our server, who didn't seem pleased that no alcohol would be ordered. He brought out a plate of 5 biscuits for the 4 of us. They were a bit overcooked and salty? Maybe too much baking soda? The kids loved them. Hubster had the prime rib, I had the eggs Benedict, one daughter had the kids filet and my other had the kids French toast. Our starters were a Caesar salad and I had the lobster bisque. Their Caesar is good. The lobster bisque had a great flavor, but the consistency was more like a broth than a bisque. There were two nice pieces of lobster in it. The kids had a nice fruit plate with chantilly cream and chocolate on top. You could tell the fruit had sat in the fridge for a while, though. I had to remind my server about my kids apple juice that never came at the same time that I had asked for more biscuits. There was only one left and my girls each wanted another. The server, Marcello, tried to tell me that they might be all out, but he would see what he could do. I asked him for just one more for each of my kids. I found it odd that they might be all out, since brunch was on for another 2 hours. Main courses came. Hubster's prime rib was delicious and my daughters steak was great, too. The eggs on my Benedict were definitely not poached and very underdone. Oh, and they were cold, too. I would up removing them from the rest of the dish. The filet on my Benedict was good, though. Now, my daughters French toast was really more of a bread pudding. It was delicious, but different. The kicker was when I looked down and noticed that the foil from the pan lining came out attached to her meal. A very large piece of foil! I notified the server who just grimaced. He packed up our meals and brought dessert. He brought the manager out, who apologized and took the French toast off the check, which was kind. We were also given 2 more $25 cards to return. Each meal has gotten progressively worse here and I don't see them fixing issues. Just trying to appease customers by throwing money and desserts at them and hoping we give them another shot.

Prime Ribeye. Best steak on the mainline. Great drinks, atmosphere and service. Right on lancaster avenue with plenty of parking in the back, or valet for convince. Dimly light steak house with great appetizer choices and even better entrees. Crab cakes, ahi tuna and grilled shrimp were all amazing. My prime ribeye was even better. If by miracle you have any room for desert the lava cake is unreal and not to be missed.

Visited January 25, 2015 The "girls" went out for happy hour and we wound up at this beautiful restaurant. 3 had eaten full meals here before but I had not so I was very pleased when the appetizers I tried were YUMMY. The Happy Hour menu is energetic and exciting in a culinary fashion. The appetizers and cocktails were so high end and reasonably priced it made our get together more enjoyable. I enjoyed : The Tenderloin Carpaccio with a cocktail called "Spiced Zinfadel" Both were imaginative and satisfying. We each took an appetizer bite from each other and the resulting poll yielded 4 of 4 diners were happy with the Appetizers and cocktails.

After reading all of the positive reviews, I had really high expectations for Fleming's. My family and I had dinner there for the first time this past Sunday, and I'm sad to say I wasn't overly impressed. Granted, the service was great, and my French Onion soup was amazing, but my Filet Mignon left a lot to be desired. It didn't have a whole lot of seasoning, and there was a piece of fat that ran through most of the filet...and there should not be any fat in filet whatsoever. Fortunately I had the Fleming potatoes to fill me up. My husband ordered the Ribeye, and he had a few bites of gristle. Really?!?!? For those prices, that should never happen! Now my father order the Prime Rib, and loved every bite, and my mother had the Surf & Turf, and thoroughly enjoyed her meal. I truly wish I had better things to say about my meal. Again, great service, but just an okay meal.

Top notch I'm not going to lye it's pricey but WORTH IT we had birthday for our daughter everyone said happy birthday by her first name very appreciative of us being their. They had a photo booth for everyone for free. The only thing I can say that was a pinch off was we had the grits & pork belly witch really did not have any real meat in it all though it was VERY good. Great choice just remember the price. Tips are its dressy upscale casual.

Let me be clear...the food is very good but it's the customer service (tonight's waiter was Peter) that makes the meal. I can't count the number of tines we've eaten at Flemings and, frankly, have found reasons to eat at restaurants other than Flemings due to employees. The food is generally outstanding but the attitude of the staff - recently - has been condescending. Tonight's server, Peter, was refreshing. Food - the Sunday prime rib special - was top of the line. To Fleming's management, you should clone Peter for more servers like him and keep up with your high food standards. Prime rib special is three courses: choice of salad (both of us had Fleming's salad), prime rib with a choice of sides and ending with choice of dessert. Nice treat.

I've had my share of good expensive steaks at restaurants from Chicago to Kansas to Nashville and I can say the Ribeye I had at Flemings was the best steak I've ever had. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Nice, hot. Great cut of steak. Service was wonderful too. Attentive, perfectly paced. The whole experience stood out to me as one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. It actually made me happy! (just don't sit by the door when it is cold outside-people hold open the door for each other and the wind just blows in). A little noisy too at the beginning of the night.

Sooooooooo good. Great service. Want to go back everyday. I ordered the peppercorn steak and it was really really good. I tried their signature blueberry lemon cocktail and that was really good as well. Tried their strawberry basil and wasn't a huge fan but it want bad. Their Flemings potatoes was probably my favorite side dish offered at any steak house. I've been to many of the steak houses in the city and never been the Flemings before but I'm glad we went. The highlight that puts Flemings above the others is their attention to detail like the complimentary parking, Coat check and the car being brought to you by the time you're outside the door. You don't see that kind of service in a lot of places so it's great to see how much they are thinking of their diners. Can't wait to be back!

Another unbelievable meal at Flemings. You really can't beat this place. Phenomenal steal every time cooked to perfection. Not to mention the service was unreal. Our waiter gave us the leftover red wine from the table next to us. A crazy good red to compliment my steal all for free. We hit this place for every big occasion and we will be back.

This restaurant has impeccable service and excellent food that made our dining experience superb! We came to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff knew this and they greeted him from the receptionist that checked us in to the waiter that served us. The waiter provided outstanding service. He was very attentive and the box of chocolate with the candle that they gave my husband was really sweet! Not to mention the food was exceptional! Great dining experience!

The filet was as good a steak as I've ever eaten. The highest quality steak. Cooked to aboslute perfection. We had the potatoes Fleming. I'm not usually a fan of scalloped otatoes but these were very good indeed. The wait staff were very friendly and knowlegeable. The ambiance in the restaurant was perfect. Bottom line... why would you dare eat a steak anywhere else except Flemings?

The food and service were certainly decent, which one would expect at such an establishment . . . particularly for the prices. The killer was the noise. The place was so loud that our group had to yell to one another to communicate. Admittedly, we were contributing to the very problem complained of but little choice. There are so many great steak houses in the area that it's easy enough to write this place off, which is a shame. Since I was asked, I'll repeat what I said at the top. The food was decent. . . it was good and tasty and everything that one should expect from a quality steakhouse. All the same, the noise trumped the food.

We came here last week because my boyfriend has been here before and wanted to take me. Although I don't eat steak, I was impressed by the service and atmosphere of the restaurant. We seemed to be the only couple as most other tables were businessmen. I ordered the scallops as an appetizer and the swordfish as an entree. The scallops were delicious but I was not impressed by my main course. The couscous lacked flavor and the fish was dry. He ordered the Cesar salad and it had a kick to it which he liked. For steak he got the New York strip with the special seasoning (I think) and sides of blue cheese mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. The sides were decent but he said the steak was amazing, as it should be. For dessert we ordered the chocolate lava cake. This is the reason for 4 stars. I would come back for the small plates, wine and this cake. Topped with pistachios and served with ice cream, it's definitely worth it. They valet and coat check which is great. Overall it was a nice experience out. As always, the company you are with can make a world of difference :)

We came here about a month ago.I got a salad and a filet mignon and we got cheesecake for dessert. Food was pretty amazing. But, I felt it was a bit overpriced compared to other steakhouses i've been to of similar quality(ruth chris, etc). The service was great, they even gave us a box of truffles as it was our anniversary. Despite the high prices, I would still return here cause our meal was very good.

My favorite steak in the world is the bone-in ribeye. It's worth the extra couple of dollars to get the bone-in. I just love that extra little flavor. The flemings bone-in ribeye is the best steak I've ever had in my life. It is cooked perfectly and beats any other steakhouse in the King of Prussia area. The prime rib specials on Sundays are a great value and an amazing meal too. The last time we ate there, my wife said it was the best prime rib she has ever had. The wait staff have always been amazing and knowledgable about their products. Service is outstanding all across the board.

Fleming's remains among the best steak houses in the area. I had the bone in rib eye that was extremely juicy and cooked to perfection. Also at the table the prime rib special was ordered. This is available on Sundays only. The only real bargain on the menu as you get a salad, vegetable and dessert with it. The drinks are pricey but are really good. Fleming's is a real treat for me but economics keep me from being a regular.

Very good Steak! It's cooked in a style midway between the "Charred" method of Morton's and the "Tenderness" method of Ruth's. I prefer Ruth's among the three b/k I like the melted butter and tenderness, but I do like Flemings better than Morton's.

We visited Fleming's for my husband's birthday over the weekend. He had been many times before and consistently ranked it among his favorite steak houses. Our visit was my first. He was spot on - the food, drink and service are all top notch. With the exception of the gentleman who delivered the bread and water to our table, the service was nothing short of exceptional. The water/bread guy seemed less than enthusiastic about being at work and dropped the bread plate onto the table causing the butter dish to crash down and create a very loud crash while mumbling something that neither of us could understand. We quickly dismissed the incident. The food - yum! We over ordered and over ate and thoroughly enjoyed everything. I started with the tomato and burata salad and my husband with the lump crab special. The salad was fanatastic, though large. The crab was OK, probably the only thing that wasn't great. My husband had the ribeye and I the Newport filet - both great. We shared the Fleming's potatoes (HOLY COW!). If not for fear of dying, I would eat these every day for the rest of my life. Delicious. I highly recommend the raspberry moscow mule. Delicious take on a classic drink. Very refreshing. All in all, a great experience and we will be sure to return, particularly considering the very generous "birthday gift" they offered my husband - a box of truffles and a $25 gift card! Nice!

I ate here 3 years ago and had the Rib Eye. It is the most expensive item on the menu AND IT WAS WELL WORTH IT! The greatest steak I ever had. I went back this week and ordered the same thing...boy, what a difference. No where near as good! The steak was not as thick and had a good amount of fat and a lot of sinew in the meat. Definitely not worth the price. Also, no matter what steak house I go to, I always have to order the meat 1 temperature higher than desired...and here was no different. I like steak med-rare; but most of the time you get it rare. Hence the 1 up on temperature. You would expect that a prime house like Flemmings would do it right. Wrong! Ordered medium and got it med-rare. Yes, it is the way I wanted it BUT I shouldn't have to play this game here. The person I was with ordered hers med-rare and hers was rare. Our server was also just fair. I was trying to decide on a bottle of wine and yet he kept coming over every minute to see if we had decided. This went on for 5 minutes. If I had decided the menu would have been closed. Felt rushed. All in all was disappointed. For what it costs I'd expect much better. Sorry to say that I won't be back.

I came in for a late dinner on a Friday night after a movie and wasn't expecting much because the place looked like they were about to close. I was a bit worried at that, but instead was pleasantly surprise by the kind and thoughtful service of our waiter -since we were probably the last table after all! Anyway, the food was good overall. The bread they served was not impressive for a steak place, but the my small plates were delicious. My compadre enjoyed his steak even though they mixed-up the order. When the waiter was made aware of this he had them make a new one with no charge at all!!the manager even came our and apologized - which wasn't necessary. They really went above and beyond here. The dessert was the best part; we had the carrot cake, which I'd recommend. If you're in Radnor, you should come to this place for dinner.

EXCELLENT. Its a Flemings - what can I say. Great food, environment and the wait staff polite, kind and there for you to make sure your experience is awesome. CONS: VEEEERRRRY Expensive we spent $410.00 (w/ Tip) and for 3 of us. Way to expensive -- I don't care but its expensive.

Delicious. It was dark, but I loved that (they seemed prepared). My mom couldn't read the menu. They brought her a small flashlight. That didn't put me off at all.... I felt high class as f@#$!!! I couldn't stop eating. I ate my swordfish... then the lady I was with couldn't eat her whole steak... ate that... some of my mom's chicken... a sampling of three sides... cake... sorbet... everything. I didn't delve into the beers and wines (called it a night with a few Coors and an Irish Coffee) but it seemed extensive enough. Service was primo. Refilled my water every two seconds. It's good to see service like this still exists... take everyone you know here.... with an extra pair of pants for each of you (sized up)

Ordered 2 Prime burgers at the bar. Cooked Medium. Waiter delivers saying they are past medium, but here this one is less well than the other one. HUH? I certainly hope this does not happen in the restaurant when you are ordering pricey steaks. They are thin so I can see medium requires watching. Based on this experience I would not return to try the restaurant.

I've been here 3 times. It's OK. Food is good, although the steaks are not even close to the Palm, Capital Grille or Morton's, yet they have similar price points. Bar is a pretty good scene, and I the drinks are excellent. Very good Martini's. If you are looking for a GREAT steak, and you are going to spend over $40 for that steak, go to the other places listed. You'll be happier.

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar is just that. A white tablecloth, high end, professionally managed, mucho dinero culinary event that while very good, doesn't quite reach the lofty heights of some of Philly's better steakhouses but nonetheless offers the best steak on the Main Line. The large, nicely appointed dining room provides enough space to still hold a quite conversation. The place is invariably packed on the weekends and often during the week, so reservations during primetime are a good idea. All of the food is delicious. Appetizers include the sweet chili calamari, seared ahi tuna, and jumbo lump crabcakes. They get the ceasar salad right with fresh parmesan and croutons baked with whole grain mustard. The steaks are solid, and that's why you came. The bone-in ribeye will stick to your ribs, and the filet can be prepared a couple different ways to suite your palat. The steaks are well-prepared, thick, and juicy. Not the best steak out there, but good, consistent, and cooked to order. Flemings has a top notch wine list. There is a bewildering variety of wines to choose from, and many of these are available by the glass. Desserts are worth the calories...the chocolate lava cake, available everywhere these days, is right at the top. Flemings sometimes has special events. We attended a private invitation only prix fixe dinner with wines coordinated to the menu items, all introduced and explained by the sommelier...a memorable evening. So, loosen your belt, open your wallet, and prepare to dine fine on the Main Line.

You have to check out this place's happy hour! Every day, from 5-7, there is a list of 5 cocktails, 5 wines, 5 apps, and 2 meal items, all for $6 per selection. The menu items rotate, with the exception of the Prime Burger (regularly ~$20). This is probably one of the better happy hours around, given the price reduction from main menu to the happy hour menu, the quality of the menu items, and the service provided. An excellent place to have some drinks with a small group of friends and fill your stomach with very good food -- all for ~$30!

I love a steak that I don't have to season! My filet mignon was perfect, no salt necessary. I started with the baked brie which took an extra few minutes but was not necessarily what I expected. It was good but I think I would have been better suited with a salad. Like I mentioned, my entree was superb. The filet cut like butter and did not disappoint. The sides were also quite nice but, ironically, lacked in seasoning (macaroni and cheese; scalloped potatoes). Overall, a good celebration dinner for yours truly (college graduation). I recommend!

We had a fairly large corporate event here, everyone chose from salmon, chicken or steak. I had the steak, it was a little overdone, but quite tasty, with the right amount of salt. Sides included potatoes au gratin, which had a nice crusty cheese top, creamed spinach, and a wedge salad. All classics and all well executed. Everyone was pleased, the service was efficient and the wine flowed freely. All in all a great time!

This is the place you go to when you want a very good steak in an elegant but comfortable setting. We went on a busy Saturday night, four very big steak-loving people. The setting is quite lovely, and while the tables are close together the noise is manageable. Our steak styles ranged from Pittsburgh rare to well-done-no-pink. They nailed the rare and mediums, the well done was a smidge dry but admittedly, that's tough to do. The service was attentive and with the help of expediters, prompt. A salad intended to be split thoughtfully came out plated for two. The only miss was the drink order, where one diner ordered a marguerita straight up and ended up with a martini glass with nothing but tequila in it. The drink was replaced with minimum fuss and not charged for. Sides were decent, desserts were typical and good. It's good steak for Philly, which is to say it's not as good as you'd get in other areas (Kansas City...mmmmm.....). They have complimentary valet parking too which is really nice.

The evening started with complimentary valet, which was convenient given the cold weather. We had a reservation so we were seated right away. Our waiter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and wine pairings. We got the calamari as an appetizer, which was fresh and complimented by a delicious sauce. I got the filet, oscar style and my date got the New York strip. We shared the macaroni and cheese and Flemings potatoes. The sides are large enough to share between 2-4 people. The steaks were done accurately to our requests and were delicious. Bernaise sauce was included as well. For dessert we got the chocolate lava cake, which was encouraged by the table next to us. I would HIGHLY recommend that. They offered to pull our car up as we were waiting upon the check to have it warm for us. Overall, a great dining experience. Come prepared if you plan to indulge: we got 2 mixed drinks, 2 glasses of wine, 1 appetizer, 2 sides, 2 steaks, and dessert for $220.

What a complete disappointment!!!! Just ate there Thursday May 24th and all I can say is it was one of the more mediocre steaks I have had. Went with a lady friend, she had a Petite filet and I had the bone-in Ribeye. She very much enjoyed her Filet but I have to say my piece of Shoe Leather masquerading as a Ribeye was just awful. For $49 I don't expect to get an ultra tough, grisly steak. It was the kind steak would expect to get from Sizzler or Longhorn. So disappointing!!!! Otherwise, service was good and attentive, the sides weren't bad and the chocolate lava cake was amazingly good. Overall Flemings is a nice place, atypical of most high end steakhouses though when we were first seated it was so loud I could barely hear my lady friend speak. To be honest The Capital Grille, Sullivans, Ruths Chris and even Mortons are light years ahead of Flemings. I'd go to any of those before I ever go back to Flemings.

Fleming's is definitely the go-to for great steak on the Main Line. It seems that whenever a special occasion comes up in my family, we always come here and have never been disappointed. Usually when we come for special occasions (birthdays, mother's day, father's day etc), we're given a small box of chocolate truffles and a gift card to put towards our next visit. Even without the gift card to motivate us, we'd still be going back! The service is excellent, and the list of wines and cocktails is extensive. Even though I enjoy wine very much, I always go for a cocktail because of how delicious they are here! For my main course, I pretty much always stick to the petite filet, and the quality of my orders has always been consistent. The steaks at Flemings melt in your mouth. All the vegetable sides I've had are delicious. I usually end up choosing the mashed potatoes or the creamed spinach. I'm sure all their desserts are delicious too, but I can never stop myself from ordering the creme brulee over and over again! If you don't feel like spending a lot of money on a big dinner, I would suggest going to happy hour. You can sit at the tables near the bar and order appetizers (the calamari is my favorite) or the bar burger, which is also delicious. Drink specials are usually on, and if you sit at the bar, they provide homemade chips. Happy hour is also a great time to sample a wine flight, since the restaurant isn't too busy yet and the bar staff has more time to discuss the wines with you.

I think I completely repressed the memories of coming here several months ago, it was that pathetic. Carpaccio was still frozen when it found its way to our table. My porcini rubbed filet mignon was ok. I'd put it in the middle of the steakhouse pack. Wife's scallops arrived. We stared at them. This must be some kind of mix up. 5 tiny mediocre scallops. So forlorn, both wife and scallops. She debated ordering an entire extra entree, but decided not to waste more money here. "Remember that time we ate at Fleming's..." is now an extremely easy way for me to get a rise out of her.

I have been to 4 different Fleming's and have come to expect a certain level of service and quality to match the prices and ambiance. The Radnor location is not anywhere near the level it should be. I went in about 5:15 after work on a Wednesday, by myself. I ordered a glass of wine and the full menu to order from. My wine glass was dirty, so I asked for a new one. The waitress dropped one by as she passed onto the next table.... Not bothering to transfer my wine from glass to glass. This second glass wasn't totally clean either and I probably should have sent that one back as well. My dinner was luke warm and disappointing. I will not go back to this location... There are better restaurants in the area, with much better service and food.

After seeing a Broadway show that was on tour in town and forgetting it was restaurant week in Philadelphia and being the procrastinator that I am, I had not made reservations for dinner. Recently reading a back issue of Philadelphia Magazine's "Best Steak Houses", I remembered that Fleming's had earned four out of five cows and was voted in the top, so I thought we could snag a table there seeing it was off the mainline and I was right. It was pouring down rain and the Schuylkill was a parking lot for most of the ride. I kept calling and saying please hold our table for six, we are on our way. Located right next to Susanna Foo Gourmet Kitchen on the lower level of the Radnor financial building, there is a huge parking lot on the side, but valet parking is free. Walking in greets you with a large reception area and several hostesses who are ready and waiting to greet and seat you. Down the few black marble steps we go onto thick lush reds and yellows cushioning your feet as you take in all the mahogany wood and the details to lighting and beautifully dressed tables. The immaculate and open chrome kitchen catches your eye with busy chefs and a turn of the head displays the lavish semi opened bar and lounge. The bar and lounge offers 5 choices for $6. each until 7:00 deals, seven nights and has a prime selection of five cocktails, five wines by the glass, five appetizers and five burgers, including ground beef, ahi tuna, sliced filet, crab cake or a portobello burger. Let's go back to my table in the dining room, which is surrounded by private party dining rooms. Renee our server was always smiling and she never missed a beat, I give her five stars! The restaurant was fairly well empty when we arrived a little after 5:00 but by the time we left at a little after 8:00 the place was filled to the brim. Yes you heard me right, three hours with a ten and fifteen year old and a grumpy husband is a bit much. I am the only one who had alcohol, being the lush that I am, because the other two adults were heading home and hubby does not drink. I had a Newman's Own ( as in Paul) Chardonnay 2006 which was outstanding and a Louis Latour, ten dollars each per glass! Everyone else had limitless cokes, which she never allowed to go empty. They have numerous back and front servers here and it is a show to behold as the back waiters do not use trays no matter how large your party is and line their arms all the way up to their shoulders with folded white napkins and hot plates sitting on top of each napkin. Ten year old Korbin was more thrilled with watching this than he was Wicked and when they finally came to us they stood right behind him and he was in awe as I said, do not move, do not breath! Hubby and Ben got the Sunday only Prime Rib special for $29.95, your choice of the wedge, Fleming's salad or a Caesar, 12oz. Prime rib with three sauces on the side, au jus, sour cream & horseradish and a steak sauce, any one side and a dessert. A superb bargain, even though hubby said the roast was mediocre. They each had the wedge and one had baked potato, the other had a huge portion of awesome garlic sauteed whole baby mushrooms. I ordered two apps for the table to share, Wicked Cajun BBQ shrimp and the jumbo lump crab cakes. The shrimp was good, Shula's is so much better, even though I do not like Shula's steak house, the crab cakes were not anything wonderful and do not compare with Ruth's Chris or many others that I have had. Ashley, the 15 year old, got a mozzarella and tomato salad with balsamic and was eager to share when she saw the portion. Michelle had the wedge as well, they do not put bacon on it. and it looked very basic. They have no child's menu and the mac & cheese has jalapenos in it, so Korbin got a burger with double cut house made shoestring fries. Michelle and Ashley ordered the petite filet, I ordered the filet. Now mind you they have three filets, a smaller portion, a petite portion and a filet. Their $32.00 petite filets were a joke, a total waste of money and my eyes bugged out of my head! One had two deep cuts in it and it was explained it was a crown cut? Those steaks were maybe 4 bites of meat! Mine was twice as large for $3.00 more and I felt sinful. The bearnaise was runny and bland. Skip the shoestring fries, no where near boardwalk fries, Fleming's house potatoes rock, sliced thick with layers of onions and jalapenos and topped with cheddar cheese. Do finish your meal with espresso and a lemon twist and the chocolate lava cake! Just do it. OSI owned and a chain which owns Carrabba's ( like) , the Bonefish Grill ( love), Outback ( hate) and Roy's ( anxious to try). Flavor and juicyness of filet, just okay, men carrying hot plates up their arm and Renee priceless. Grand total $286.97 + 20% gratuity! Would I go back to Fleming's? Maybe.

After my previous review I was contacted by Fleming's requesting more information as to how I based review. As in my review I explained that while the meal was fine, I had experienced better, which is pretty much Yelp's description for a 2 star rating. Fleming's response to this was to offer me a gift card to use towards a return visit, to give them a chance to meet my, and their, expectations. Considering how few businesses actually put customer relations ahead of the almighty dollar I was pleasantly surprised by this. So gift card in tow, myself and 2 friends headed to Flemings for dinner on Saturday night, prior to watching ND vs Nova at the Wells Fargo Center. One of my dining companions had been with me on the previous trip as well. We had an early reservation and as soon as we had all arrived were quickly seated. Being me, I went with my standard Steakhouse order, started off with a Wedge Salad loaded in Bleu Cheese followed by a NY Strip. For sides we went with Mashed Potatoes and the Fleming's Signature Potatoes. The salad was very good and the waitress was nice enough to my request for extra bleu cheese by bringing me a gravy boat full of extra dressing. My wife would've been pissed, but she wasn't there, so we definitely off on the right foot. When my steak came out it was absolutely excellent. The meat was incredibly tender, had been lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly. It absolutely blew my previous Fleming's steak away. The potatoes were both also very good. I'll give the edge to the mashed potatoes, they were so buttery and smooth. They were definitely better for my taste buds than they were for my heart ... but if it was going to kill me, that would be the way to go. Discussing with my dining companion from the previous trip we were both in agreement this meal was far superior. This trip to Fleming's was a 5 star experience, so averaging that with my previous 2 star one Fleming's is at a 3.5. I'm rounding up for the high quality customer service and I can guarantee I'll be back in the future.

We went to Fleming's for our wedding anniversary and had a mixed experience that overall was positive due to the management. The food and service were pretty much as expected, but Fleming's attitude toward making their customers happy was better than expected. We decided to try Flemming's because we had a $50 gift card. The card had expired, but we called in advance and were told that they would still accept it. That was very nice of them. We got seated within 10 minutes of our reservation. The place was packed for dinner late on a Sunday night. The hostesses were very apologetic about us having to wait, but it was really no big deal because we didn't have to wait long. The service was good, but not great. The food was good, but not great. I had the "seasons" special which was filet and salmon. The filet was great, the salmon was dry. My wife had the prime rib special. It was very average. However, it did seem like a great value. It was a big hunk of meat plus salad plus big side for only $30. The wine list is exceptional and appropriately priced (expensive). By the end of dinner, we were underwhelmed. Ok service and ok food. Not bad at all, but not really anything that special that would bring us back. We were very pleasantly surprised when the manager comped our drinks because we had to wait to be seated. This was a nice surprise because we didn't complain and we didn't even have to wait very long. We also were told "Happy Anniversary" by different staff members multiple times and left with some nice truffles as a gift. Overall, the experience was positive mostly because of Flemming's customer service.

Overall excellent. We had one of the best waiters I've had in some time. Francesco was there when we needed him. He was otherwise not there when we wanted to be by ourselves. That's the trademark of a great waiter. Then the food. The lobster brie bread spread over baguette was decadent and superb. I wanted a bit healthier faire on the bread so I asked for olive oil and garlic. I got roasted garlic and extra virgin olive oil and pure Balsamic vinegar so I could concoct my own bread dip. When it came time to order, the waiter recommended that one Fleming salad could suffice both of us. He was right on the money. My BF ordered the Filet Mignon and I ordered the Tuna Sirloin. Both were exquisitely cooked to perfection. The ahi quality tuna was seared but gorgeously red inside. We accompanied the dinner with a young Cabernet, which paired both the steak and the tuna. The ambiance was indeed superb, although a bit noisy. But the elegance and superb food definitely left a good taste in my mouth, pun intended.

Awesome, awesome place! Service was great, food was great and it was the perfect place for my brithday dinner! The server gave a great reccomendation on a pairing of wine to go with my filet oscar. It was a delicious cab that I will never forget. I felt bad because it was a little $$, but hey, you pay for what you get! My fiancee loved his steak as well. I got the lobster bisque to start and it was great! Oh yes! The manager also came over said happy birthday and gave us a complimentary dessert and a box of chochlates or truffles it was. SUCH A NICE TOUCH! Loved the experience and definitely will go back!

We have been to many Fleming's around the country including a number of return trips to the one in Radnor many times. The food is extremely well done with the prime aged steak consistently delivered at the right degree of done. Sides are also excellent with special kudos for the Fleming's potatoes. The wine list provides a large number of wines by the glass spanning a large number of global sources and styles over a wide price range. Service has always been superlative with a special thanks to manager Zahra Moore who always takes a moment to stop by and thank you for coming. For your birthday, the complementary chocolate dessert is to die for. All other desserts are also exceptional. We love it here and will return soon

Everyone has their favorite steakhouse chain and Fleming's is ours. Their steaks are always perfectly cooked and seasoned to my taste. Their side dishes and appetizers are great and wine list diverse. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable without being too pushy.

Excellent, terrific service, large, sumptuous drinks, attentive wait staff, fantastic steaks, really tasty sides, festive atmosphere, wish the salad my wife and I shared was larger, but considered in light of the porterhouse, it was just right. Don't hesitate...make a reservation and indulge.

Funny story- so my mom, my son and I go to Flemings last night knowing we don't have any money to spend. We arrive after getting lost (it's kind of down a hill near a huge office complex after 476 so you could miss it) to a lovely dim-lit atmosphere. We are greeted by very friendly hostess and a host who was maybe a manager. It was pretty crowded and lively for 7pm on a Friday. So they had valet parking which we thought was fancy, and we were seated right away because we had a reservation. So we're reviewing the menu and laughing at the prices because it is EXPENSIVE. which usually is no big issue but we were only going because we had a coupon for $50. a meal is about $50 and there were 3 of us, so we just ordered small plates. The small bit of filet mignon I ate made me so mad I didnt bring my Visa! It practically melted in my mouth. The risotto was good and hot sauce was a nice touch because I like spicy. The scallops and crab cake were also very tasty, not the best I've ever had but good nonetheless. Our waiter was very friendly and got everything right the first time. He especially catered to my son who just wanted a cheeseburger. So, I will absolutely be back to partake in a nice big juicy steak when I have more funds available. My mom and I joked the entire way home about how we were still hungry for more! Also I noticed that no sides automatically come with the steak so be sure to keep that in mind when ordering. I am not surprised by Tom's comment because every staff person there when I went was VERY friendly and personable. We'll be back. :)

This review is more about the drinks and few appetizers we had at the bar. I have had dinner a few times and was not overly impressed with the price to quality ratio, but the happy hour seems like a good deal. After a late lunch, we decided to stop by the bar around 5:30pm for a few drinks and some light fare. Luckily, they have happy hour every day until 6pm (or is it 7pm?), where items are between $5-$6. We ordered couple glasses or wine along with tenderloin carpaccio, which came with aoili and come capers and greens, for the surprisingly low price of $6 !! The bread which accompanied the carpaccio was limp and soggy, so we substituted it with the house made potato chips served at the bar, which lent the necessary crunch. We also ordered the shrimp cocktail (4 shrimp for $6) which were lightly grilled and split a Flemings premium burger with thick bacon and your choice of cheese, in our case Gruyere. Our check with 2 wines came to $32 + tip - amazing ! So if you have not been to Flemings and wish to try it out, go during happy hour and eat at the bar.

My boyfriend brought me to Flemings for our first date back in March of 2012. It was an amazing experience. The server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The ambiance was trendy and relaxing. The food was amazing. We both had filets, which were cooked to perfection. They were seasoned very well. We chose a reasonably priced bottle of red wine to enjoy with our meal, as well. The overall experience was fantastic. I look forward to returning soon!

It's Wednesday so it's father-daughter dinner night, which means that mom and grandpa eat their healthy dinner at Seasons and dad and I head for a steakhouse. Because ya know, steak and burgers are good for my emotional health, if nothing else. Recently, though, I have been trying to be more aware of mi beloved padre's cholesterol levels so I've been watching what he orders and offering "strong suggestions." He actually listened and decided on the lite fillet mignon with a plain baked potato instead of the Fleming's potatoes with heavy cream and cheddar. I went with the new zealand marinated lamb chops with a side of polenta fries since I wasn't ravenous, for once, and wanted something savory but not overly filling. I know, I know...it must clearly be the apocalypse since I'm straying from my beloved rib-eye. Anyhow, the food was good, as always, and the service impeccable. The lite fillet was tender and the perfect portion size; he did get it with a side of madeira, which gave it a nice boost of richness. My lamb chop lollipops were incredibly tender and flavorful (loved the mint-pesto glaze!), and, for once, I didn't feel like a pig after eating here. The presentation was simply lovely: 3 balsamic-and-herb-marinated chops arranged on a pesto-mint sauce and accompanied by 2 lightly fried pieces of polenta. Yup, 2 pieces of thick cut, creamy, crispy polenta. Absence definitely makes the heart grow fonder and right now, I am kinda craving more. But I digress. I also had a nice, fruity glass of chianti, which I very much enjoyed but won't comment too much on since I'm not a master sommelier. All I know is that it went well with my lamb. Our waiter was great, and realy loved that we try to keep to our Wed. tradition. Overall, we had a very enjoyable, relaxing meal that left us satisfied but not stuffed. Will definitely be back to try more of the small plates (beef carpaccio is screaming my name...). There is also complimentary valet parking, which is a nice bonus.

Mother's day was a great experience. The restaurant was packed for Mother's day but the waitress and Manager did great jobs with getting the food to us and offering us plenty of reason to come back. They were down a chef (chef went home because of an accident) and still made magic happen. Everyone was pleased. I will return soon

This is one of my favorite places to enjoy PRIME steak in the entire philadelphia area. I have been to Morton's, Ruths Chris, Capital Grille, and Sullivans. However this place i rank right up there with Capital Grille as my two favorites. This place is downright amazing with excellent cuts of beef and a wine bar to die for. My personal favorite with dinner is the Louis Latour Pinot Noir (decent price) with a nice filet. The appetizers are great, and I would highly recommend the bone-in Filet. And the desserts are also great.

Steak houses are not my favorite type of restaurant - so I knocked this down one star just because of that. I think they are all very overpriced and, really, you can make a better steak at home fairly easily. Flemmings was certainly better than Mortons or Ruth Chris. The portions were larger and just a tad less expensive. Very typical wine list - watch the prices because they are very inflated for ordinary, brand name wines. The room was very nice and comfortable - I didn't think the noise level was high. Our server was very good. She decanted our wine for us and paced the service very well. I had a salad, the calamari appetizer and the tempura lobster appetizer. They were all very good and a lot of food. Others had steak and prime rib and enjoyed their meals. We had some gift certificates which made the total tab "reasonable." I don't think I would spend that kind of $$$ at any steakhouse. However, I would try Flemmings again. If you like steak - I think this is the best choice in the vicinity.

We got there expecting a 5 star experience with the valet to and staff greeting us at the door. However, when we got in there the steak was good but not the best, and the mashed potatoes over powered the steak. The worst part was my boss was served the wrong steak; and they left me with my food while he sat watching me eat my steak. When we go the check they didn't even offer a discount for the mistake. The wine was good; best I have had in a while; but this was outweighed by the lack in quality of the steak. Ruth's is far better for a similar price. So much for my job well done dinner...

Have been to a few different Fleming's locations and it is a top notch steakhouse. Went to this one for a birthday celebration this weekend and was impressed by the service and food. The restaurant is dimly light with a comfortable decor. The bar is crowded and busy and the restaurant was packed. They have valet service which was very convenient as there was a downpour as we arrived. We started with a bunch of wedge salads which were fine. The steaks were the attraction. We ordered 2 medium cooked 16 oz. New York Strips, a petit Fillet Mignon and the standard size fillet. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their steaks. Dessert was a delicious chocolate lava cake which was shared. This is a great restaurant for a special occasion.

The bar at Fleming's is a classy place to relax after work. There isn't much a of a "bar scene," unless you're a Villanova student looking for a sugar daddy with a Centurion Card. However, the bar has several nooks where you can retire in peace with a chill Grey Goose and tonic. In addition to the food from the restaurant, the bar snacks include the delicious Atkins-friendly Portobello Steak Frites (Which are neither steaks nor frites. Discuss!) It's quiet and probably has the nicest bar staff on the Main Line. If you work in the area, then this is one of the best places to unwind.

OMG. The rosemary baguette served w/ champagne brie and sundried tomato spreads was simply divine! The decor inside is beautiful (My mom had told me Ruth's Chris Steak House had a really disappointing interior...). There was a glass case behind us of over 100 award-winning wines. Splendid! To start off with, I had the sweet chile calamari...which let me say is definitely better than Pod's. (And very rarely will I say anything is better than Pod's). I had the tuna mignon with a side of their famous potatoes. I know it's a steak house but I'm not a big fan of steak. Ha ha ha... so this was my first experience at a steakhouse. My parents both ordered steak and liked it...I was sort of disappointed to see that it did not come with any sides. Dessert was their chocolate lava cake that I still fantasize about. Let them know if you want to get this...which I highly recommend...because you have to order it a bit in advance! They threw in a candle and we sung Happy Birthday to my dad! They also gave us a box of truffles as a gift. (And they also greeted him with a Happy Birthday when he walked in. Boy was he surprised!) All in all...Fleming's is a pricier steakhouse so be prepared for that. But definitely a must-try for you carnivores.

O..M...G... Best filet I ever put in my mouth!!! Went last night for my birthday and everything was beyond wonderful. They really know how to celebrate a special occasion and make you feel special. From the minute we walked in the door I was greated and wished a happy birthday. Our waitor greeted us and offered a complimentary half bottle of champagne to toast my birthday. Yum! Everyone was beyond delish- From the bread with unique spreads, the Lump crab louie lettuce wraps were the perfect starter as well as the french onion soup which was to die for. For entree, I got the petite filet oscar- I seriously had dreams about this last night- every bite melted in my mouth- it was cooked to my medium rare perfection. My date's porterhouse was just as amazing. The perfect ending to the night was the molten chocolate cake! We couldn't help but devour the thing, it was that good. If you're looking to celebrate a special occasion, don't mind splurging a little and love a good steak and glass of wine, you'd be crazy not to go to Flemmings. It's worth every penny!

Flemings is a nice place. Its not the first place I would think of for a steak dinner - but everything went really well with the service and the food was great. I am glad we went! We ordered the calamari for appetizer, and it was good. Next time we are going to get the seafood tower. We had steak and crab legs for dinner with sides of the flemings potatoes, and sauteed spinach. All were very good. One thing that I thought was different is that you can order 'small plates'. The only thing that deterred us from going that route was that the prices were around 18-25 for the small plates and we weren't sure how small they were compared to the other menu items. The descriptions of the small plates were hard to resist!

We returned to Flemings last night. After our last not-so-great outing the manager reached out and offered us a gift certificate to come back. It was a nice sign that management really does care about their restaurant and want to make it right. Our meal last night was wonderful. the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good - my husband had the prime rib special, which is a great deal - salad, prime rib with a side and dessert for $30. I had the seasonal price fixe menu. The app was great, and I would give this 5 stars, but my filet was a bit overcooked and my salmon a bit undercooked. Otherwise, this was a great night and I will definitely come back.

Fleming's is located in an office building that houses the headquarters of Lincoln Financial (I think....). It's also situated right next to the suburban edition of Susanna Foo's. It has a nice, stately (lots of wood panels) decor typical of most high-end steak houses (such as Morton's and the Capital Grille). Its menu of steaks and a la carte side dishes are also similar to other restaurants in its class. The steak is, of course, always satisfying, and the service is excellent. But, so are the other restaurants. In fact, I have to confess that my favorite steak house is Stephen Starr's Barclay Prime, but the edge that this restaurant has over all others is its proximity to my house, SO I tend to frequent here more often than other similar restaurants, including the Sullivan's and Ruth Chris in King of Prussia, and the Palm (and aforementioned Barclay Prime) in Center City. Now, to dig into my medium-rare prime rib eye (the best tasting steak cut, IMHO)...

Good wine? Check. Good food? Check. Friendly staff? Check. Great ambience? Check. Excellent service? Check. If you're looking for a great steakhouse, Fleming's is the place to go. Bonus: Complimentary valet parking, and delicious little after-dinner mints at the front door.

I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant of this caliber. The steaks were just average. My filet skewers were both overcooked and cold. The seafood platter was also uninspired. Blue Point oysters are for $1 oyster happy hour specials, not upscale restaurants. The lump crabmeat was mushy. My biggest complaint, however, was the inappropriate level of sweetness in so many of the appetizers and main courses; The dressing on 2 salads was sweet; and 2 out of three sauces on the hot appetizer platter were sweet as was one sauce for a seafood dish. Sugaring up savory dishes is an old trick of fast-food restaurants; I want restaurants with $40 entrees to make savory items appealing without adding sugar. I can see the staff has quite a bit of training in how to seem good natured but our server wasn't. I had to ask him 3 times to give two wine glasses to each person. The first two times I asked him he said "sure" and then explained that he wasn't going to do it. Overall, it made for a very grim meeting for the family.

Would do 3 1/2 stars if Yelp would let me. Very nice room, friendly people to greet and pleasant nice paced service. Here's where I think Capital Grill is better. The Caesar salad was totally bland and the Filet Mignon was not all that tasty. 3 shrimp for $14.50 is a bit much, but they were fresh. The standout of the night was the baby lamb chops that are an appetizer. Not sure why they don't offer lamb chops on the entree portion, every other steak house around here does. Great selection of wines by the glass. Didn't order dessert because they no longer offer the great Key Lime Pie they used to have. I would put this below Capital Grill at K of P, but above Mortons. Mortons wines by the glass for the price are a joke, but they do have great lamb chops.

Our first time to Fleming's. Very solicitous service. Extensive winelist. Prices are very high but the experience and quality are also high. The salad starters were delicious. Vegetable side dishes were small portions for the price and everything is prepared with lots of butter/oil and pepper. The prime rib was tender as butter. Desserts were unremarkable-- cheesecake lacked flavor and the turtle pie was somewhat ordinary. Overall go there for great steak and service.

Been many times- some areas are a bit nosier than others- each time we go we do ask to sit in a quieter area or a booth-- the staff always has accommodated us. Ambiance is great and the 5 6 7 promo at the bar is a great deal

Fleming's is our favorite restaurant in the Philadelphia area (both in the city and suburbs). We go here at least two to three times per year. It is also our favorite steakhouse over Sullivan's, Morton's, Ruth Chris and Del Frisco's.The food and service at Fleming's is what makes it stand out. The bone-in-filet is my husband's favorite and I love the surf and turf. The sides are all tasty however our favorite is the Chipotle Mac and Cheese. Each time we go to Fleming's I feel so pampered and cared for which makes every visit special.

Good and what you'd expect from this chain. Don't expect be blown away. If you live on the mainline you cannot beat the convenience of Fleming's.

The food & drink were excellent! We started out at the bar, since they run a 5 for 6 before 7 bar menu (5 cocktails, 5 wines & 5 appetizers for $6 each before 7 pm). I had a white cosmo while my husband had a mojito. We put in for an order of calamari, which came out extremely quickly, and my husband said was fantastic. I decided to partake of the free bar food, the homemade, unbelievably fresh potato chips. Those things are god like - the perfect combo of potato, oil & salt. Once we asked for our check, the bartender rang through to the hostess stand to let them know we were ready for dinner, and a hostess came to get us from the bar to our table. We had one of the smaller, two person booths that were near the bar (not on the bar side, however). Eric, our server, greeted us very quickly and got us some water while we reviewed the menu. He did a good job running down the specials of the night (a few bone-in cuts, a black and blue sirloin & a halibut dish) and then left us to simmer in our thoughts. My husband went the prix fixe route (soup/salad + main + dessert) for $37, while I did one of the Light Entrees, which is a smaller portion meat plus a smaller portion side. We started out with wine - my husband went for a glass of Pinot Noir, while I did a the Red Flight of Interest (they offer almost a dozen wine flights - 3 - 2 oz portions, but only all red or all white). The flight actually comes in a pretty "fruity" display, to me...it was a wire contraption that all the glasses hung in. I guess it's probably safer than 3 wineglasses on the table. I prefer doing flights when out, since I'd like to try a bit of everything, while my husband would rather do a full glass of something he's pretty sure he'd like. Either way, you have your pick. Our salads came out pretty quickly. The prix fixe salad was a butter lettuce tropical salad, with a spicy citrus dressing, oranges, pineapple and cherry tomatoes. My husband still can't decide if he liked it; the spicy wasn't crazy hot, but it definitely left you with that capsacin feeling. I did a traditional wedge salad...and it's one of the best I've had in a long time. The lettuce was perfect, the onions were fresh & the blue cheese dressing was the perfect combo of tangy & creamy. I could make a meal out of their wedge, but I stopped early so I'd have room for everything else. With salad came the bread, which was a whole grain baguette with flax that came with two butters, a traditional European butter as well as a mild cajun-esque one. We did wait long after finishing our salad before our main courses came out. My husband went with the fish dish on the prix fixe, a broiled salmon with a citrus topping and a small dish of black bean cassoulet. The salmon was huge, well cooked & tasty. The black bean dish was tiny and just okay, so my husband focused mainly on his salmon. It came with a dish of mashed potatoes as well. They weren't the best we've ever had, but not the worst either. They were very potato-y, probably made with russets. I went with the small filet, cooked to a medium-rare with the Fleming's potatoes. The filet was perfectly cooked and well seasoned with salt and pepper (my husband was a bit overwhelmed by the salt, but I liked it). The only complaint I had with it was that it was a bit fattier than I'm used to in a spot, but I couldn't finish the whole portion anyways (and it was still very good). The Fleming's potatoes were out of this world. A bit spicy and oh so creamy, it's another dish you could probably make a meal of. My husband requested more bread during our main courses and we savored for a long time. I'd think about doing the separate meat & potatoes instead of the smaller combo I got just to have a larger portion of potatoes. We also got a serving of asparagus with butter, olive oil, salt & pepper to share. Oh so tender & flavorful, I still only managed to eat two stalks. I think we might have to go back with another couple next time so we can try more sides without feeling like we are throwing away food. Dessert was delish. The prix fixe comes with sauteed pineapple tart with ice cream & caramel, while I went for the good old standby of chocolate lava cake. It was one of the best made ones I've had - perfectly cake-y on the outside and flowing in the middle, with ice cream on top. Right at dessert delivery our waiter brought a little box of chocolates with a candle on it for my birthday. The service was good, with a few flares. The bartender took a bit longer than normal to greet us, they forgot my potatoes when they brought out the main courses & my lava cake came without the pistachios. Not a big deal for me. I think this place is really good. I like the dark mood, the good service & the great food. Dinner for two (two drinks, an appetizer, two glasses of wine, two salads, two main entrees, three sides & two desserts) was $135 before tax & tip. Yum (and not horribly pricey)!

I've had some damn good steak... but this place is so far the best.. Be prepared for a hefty price tag though! Going from NYC to out in PA I was not expecting it!

I have dined at Fleming's twice since it opened about a year ago. The experiences both times were not the best. The food is overpriced and fair at best. I had to send a steak dinner back twice, once for being overcooked and when it was replaced the filet was tough and fatty. This was on my first trip. The second time I visited I was with a larger group and we felt like we were being rushed through the meal. It is obvious the kitchen needs some help. The one good thing about it is the bar - the wine selection by the glass is great. The bar is beautiful and has a great selection. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant is exquisite so my suggestion would be to go there for drinks and appetizers in the bar area. If you have the option to pick a steakhouse, definitely try Sullivan's instead.

This is one of the best steakhouses I've ever been to. I couldn't stop talking about it for days after I went. The prices are high, but they are well worth it for the quality of the food and attentiveness of the servers.

I truly enjoy Flemings. It is steakhouse meets Cheers, meaning exceptional service but a more laid back experience than some of its better known competitors. Delicious food, smart cocktails, and to-die-for desserts.

Packed tables and inconsistent waiters matched with lofty prices make me want to find another steakhouse. I am here maybe 3 times a year for business dinners and it always meets the "fancy" need of these types of meetings - but personally, I think it is overpriced. We had 4 (FOUR!) different waiters/waitresses come to the table to ask us about drinks or wine within the first 5 minutes of us arriving. Come on. Give us some space. And my $40 sirloin was placed on an over-sized plate and looked like an appetizer. It did taste good and was cooked perfectly - but left me wishing for more. However, when it was all said and done our waiter was fuming with the tip amount. We could see him making fun of one or our guests from about 10 feet away. Only will go here again in a last case scenario in the future.

Always a great and while a chain, but than the others (Morton's, Sullivan's). Service as usual was top notch and their list of wines is second to none. On the more expensive side, but worth the cost given the quality of food, service and the atmosphere.

I have had 2 disappointing dinners but this visit was better. Maybe because someone else paid! Sat in a private room. good service. Incredible upsell by waitress. Host bought 3 $150 bottles of wine, ouch. My NY Strip was great. Seafood sampler appetizer was very weak. Shrimp n crab was dried out. I wouldn't go to Flemings if I was paying. Take your $ to the Guard House in Gladwyne.

Went to Fleming's when my boss was in town. Great meal...awesome service (wish I remembered the name of our waiter but he had a great Rollie Fingers-like mustache). I'm not much of a wine dinker but my boss seemed to be impressed with their selection. Just a first class night all the way.

OK. I'm bumping these guys up to 5 stars. Went there on Friday night. Called @ 6:30 and got a reservation for 7:15. Got there and we were promptly seated. Server was there quickly and took our drink order. Bam, drinks are there about a minute later. Nice and strong too :) Then, he broke down the list of specials and we got to placing our order. We both went with the Filet, I got a salad and Flemings potatoes to share. The salad came out quick. And it was delicious. Crisp lettuce, sweet candied walnuts and yummy dried cranberrys with some sort of citrus dressing. It was really, really good. So good that the better half (who passed on the salad) ate a good bit of it. She couldn't help herself. Then the steaks came. Cooked to perfection. I got mine Oscar style, that is topped with lump crabmeat which were nice big chunks, with a bernaise sauce. She had a side of madero (sp?) sauce with hers and it was also delish. The Flemings potatos are off the hook. I love em'. Simple dish really, but sometimes those are the best ones. Just potatos, cheese, and some jalapeno peppers sprinkled in then baked in the oven. Yummy dummy. We finished them off, and waited for dessert. I excused myself to the bathroom (1 vodka tonic and 2 iced teas will do that to ya). Now, my birthday was last week. I didn't mention it to anyone. When I got back, our server came over with a hot fudge sundae (my fav) with a candle in it. What a great surprise. Not sure how the figured that part out, the better half denies any involement, but hey I'm not complaining. That, and we had already ordered a chocolate lava cake for dessert. When you go, you absolutely have to order the lava cake. It is sooooo flipping good. I also have to point out that our server, Andre, was excellent. He was very personable and quick on the draw with service. He definitely made it a great great night for the two of us. It's amazing how just a little common courtesy coupled with a great personality can make all the difference. Could not ask for anything more out of the evening.

One star for the service and one star for the crab lettuce wrap appetizer. Otherwise, is was a very disappointing meal and very overpriced. I will never go back.

July 5th we celebrated my husband's birthday at Flemings. It was outstanding. The service was attentive but not overpowering. My filet was perfectly cooked, the onion rings to die for and great creamed spinach. My husband had a fabulous seafood salad-so it's not just great meat. Also I thought that the wines were a very reasonable value. We were too full to east dessert but they gave us a box with four outstanding truffles to take home for the birthday boy. Expensive, yes but all steak house are. Worth it? Every penny.
