I enjoy Christopher's every time i go, i mean jeez how sexy can the bartenders be. Try the pork chop it's amazing, the mixed grill is so good, the food is always fresh and hot. While the tap selection is not huge it is always well chosen and diverse. The bottle selection is always good too, heavy on the IPA's which is what i prefer. The ambiance is usually great, but you do get the occasional drunk idiot, but they always handle it well. Go there you wont be sorry. Late night is always fun!

Food is consistently delicious!!!!! Love it hear, the tables and chair could be more comfy though!

Food average. Tries to blend formal and casual dining, and fails in every respect.

The server gave my companion's credit to another customer who had already left. The fact that the server thought it was funny is enough reason to never visit again.

Had Christmas eve dinner there with a group of friends and family...great time, excellent service and food. Staff made us and everyone comfortable, ensuring all went smoothly. Dinners were very good, ranging from meatloaf (a big hit) to a scallop salad, which was well prepared. Christopher's is great for families and is reliably excellent.

I have such mixed feelings on Christopher's - I'm never that excited to go, but whenever I do, it's not bad! Situated on a prime spot on North Wayne, it's always healthily busy. My one complaint: there are always. children. I really can't stand children, and from living in NYC, I've grown to not have to deal with them frequently. Alas, I guess this is a part of life in the burbs. Fine. Wait staff is always friendly, and the pizzas are pretty good! The garlic tomato bisque is a great starter with bread to dip as an appetizer, and the turkey burger is good too. I'd definitely visit for lunch rather than dinner, or for drinks later in the evening. Good location, good food - can't argue with it.

Great location, good drinks, ok food and depending on your server, average employee service. 3 stars cause I like to drink.

Christopher's is great. The food is delicious and they have a large menu. You can definitely get the half size portions on salads. A half is an entire plate! Which is why a whole is like $20. The tuna melt and mexican food are also favorites of mine. They have some outdoor sidewalk seating which is nice. Inside is a nice atmosphere as well. You don't have to dress up though - it is casual. It is also good for kids. They have crayons etc. Also - even if you sit outside be sure to go in to get a dumdum on the way out! Oh and randomly I saw Nicole Richie eating there. Just an extra tidbit for you.

I'm a Christopher's regular. I've probably been at least 100 times over the course of the past 8 years so I might be a bit biased in my review, but this really is a neighborhood place. It gets crowded and it does cater to the area families with kids as they give out balloons during the dinner rush, but it's all part of the atmosphere. Go a little bit later and things get a bit more lively for the bar crowd. The staff is awesome and they have great burgers and pizzas. If you're looking for something original and exciting go up the street to Teresa's Next Door, but this place is where you want to be if you're looking for a simple, well prepared meal. They also do a nice brunch on Sundays.

This place is great! Great food and excellent service with a great price. The vegetarian chili was amazing! I went on a Thursday evening, so there were not too many kids. They have outside seating and a bar area. The service for us was pretty fast. The food is American and they have a little section at the bottom where you can get sides for like $3 and $4...nice wine list on the back too. Glad we found this place - we will be back! It is a little noisy in there, so minus the one star...

A family favorite. Diverse menu but not so extensive as to get in the way of execution (i.e., not trying to be all things to all people). Best place possible to bring kids - good food, attentive service, organically loud all the time, so the kids can be kids, and you can enjoy grown up food and conversation.

Went to Christopher's on a Friday night. It was extremely busy inside and out, and quite loud in the restaurant. Waitress gave us some sliced up bread to start, which was extremely stale and had that flavor of almost moldy, without the mold showing yet. I ordered the organic burger and my friend got the southwest burger. I thought the burger itself was of really good quality. The meat tasted very fresh and flavorful and was cooked to my liking, not too pink but not over done. However, the burger was extremely thick and pretty heavy, making it difficult to eat. The smoked cheese melted on top added nice flavor. The bun was very fair and became too oily from the burger I guess. The lettuce and tomato were very fresh. Came with potato chips that tasted like pure salt. Service was pretty good overall. And the ambiance was kind of rustic but very open and spacey as well. Although I can only speak to one dish, I'd recommend the burger here, especially if you like thick burgers.

Stopped by for a late dinner and beer to watch the Phillies game tonight. Definitely was a great low key spot to watch the game grab food and a beer. I ended up having meatballs and spaghetti (very random bar food choice), but it wasn't bad - definitely 3 star worthy and certainly wasn't too expensive. I'll be back again to try something different from the menu. Not sure what all the issues are with children, although I was there at 8:00 on a weeknight. If you hate kids - try that time. :-)

It's hard to beat the quality of food here given the price point. the service is ok, but the bartenders are awesome, they are very friendly and knowledgeable and i believe they haven't hired a new bartender in about 5 years. The staff is more than willing to hook it up for regulars. the burgers and pizzas are great. the nachos need serious work. All in all this place does one of the best late night dinners on the mainline. i am likely bound to return this evening to indulge their half off wine bottle promotion (only on wednesdays). the grassfed burger with a nice glass of punto final malbec is hard to beat. They also have about 8 rotating drafts which are thoughtfully chosen with almost entirely microbeers and crafts (occasionally imports as well). But if you're a bottle guy they've got a great bottle list which is easily viewed from the bar on a board. Come in and try the mussels too, they have some great food offerings here for a reasonable price point.

We were at the Jazz fest. and wanted to grab a bite but didn't really want just burgers and fries or Mexican or just stick to our usual go-to: Teresa's. Enter Christopher's. It was very busy and crowded but we were seated without an arduously long wait, which was great considering the event. After perusing the rather diverse menu, we settled on the ahi tuna pizza, mixed grill, mussels provencal, and fish tacos. The pizza was good, with rare pepper-crusted tuna , ginger, wasabi cream, roe, and plenty of scallions on a thin, crispy crust; the wasabi cream was a nice touch and gave it just the right amount of wasabi-spiciness without setting my mouth on fire. If they had added avocado slices, it would have been even better. The tuna itself was of decent quality but I wouldn't put it at the excellent sashimi-grade level, although I wasn't really expecting Blue Fin-standard tuna. The mixed grill yielded mixed results: the lamb chop was a bit dry but pretty flavorful, the flat iron steak was on a tough side but not bad although it certainly wasn't on par with Sullivan's or Fleming's,and the fennel sausage was juicy and nicely seasoned, although it didn't really stand out. It was served with roasted potatoes (nicely seasoned with a slightly crispy skin), sauteed spinach (pretty typical), and a red wine glaze, which went very well with the lamb chop and steal though not the sausage. I really liked the fish tacos, with were stuffed with seasoned, marinated mahi mahi accompanied by a light, refreshing pineapple and mango salsa, slaw, and black bean and seasoned rice mix. The mahi mahi was tender and flavorful and the pineapple salsa was the perfect side on a warm evening. It also came with a "spicy" tomato salsa, which I wasn't too fond of. The black beans and rice side was pretty standard, as was the slaw (jicama, I think?). The mussels provencal were just okay. Teresa's still remains near and dear to my heart so that will remain by go-to for mussels. Service was decent considering how busy it was and our server was friendly and helpful. We did have to ask for water refiils, though, but that was understandable. A solid pick for the family since they have just about something for every palate and a kid's menu. Just don't go when it's super crowded or during a big event.

Reminded me of the "Soup Nazi" episode on Seinfeld. Christopher is blessed with a great location and like the other nearby restaurants a few tables are available outside. This was my second visit to Christopher's and, most regrettably, it won't be my last. Food: Generally ok, no major hits, but a few misses. The biggest disappointment was the only special ordered - a Snapper which came with two Sea Scallops. The Snapper tasted fresh, but was not cleaned of all the bones (not difficult for this type of fish). The Scallops were properly cooked (that's harder than it sounds) but appeared to be dumped onto the dish along with all its cooking juices. The dark brown buttery goo looked awful on the Snapper. We asked for a dish of small sliced carrots for our youngest. What arrived were thick chunks of carrots, the type you find in barns. They were bland and tasteless to all but perhaps a horse. The Burrito Entrée was a favourite from our first visit and was ordered again. As in the first visit, we asked if it would be OK to have the Burrito with melted cheese. We were assured both times that it would be fine, and both times the Burrito arrived without it and without any explanation. On our first visit, I got up and walked towards the open kitchen. I was stopped mid way by a waiter who asked "what do you need!". This time I knew better. Fans of Seinfeld will know what I mean. Wine List: Poor. Service: In a word, terrible. The waitress took the entire order, salads, appetisers and entrées before mentioning the specials (someone in the party asked). Another server return with the starters. He had no idea who order what and just dropped the plates at the nearest open spot at the table. When he returned with the appetisers, I told him that the entire table will be sharing. He froze like a deer in the headlights - obviously had no clue what to do. We took the dish from his hand and then "ordered" extra plates and serving flatware (which never arrived). After twice asking our waitress for hot sauce, we got up and asked someone else. The main entrées arrived shortly after the appetisers. Surely there must be a kinder, gentler way to say hurry up and leave. Décor: Works well in the area, but OMG the place is unbelievably LOUD! It was difficult to hold a conversation with anyone other than the person directly in front of you. This of-course we knew from our previous visit. However this time the place was already emptying out (was after 9pm). Owners should consider adding some heavy fabric to dampen the noise. Cost: Reasonable. On Seinfeld, the cast returned to the "Soup Nazi" because the soup was worth the abuse. I'm not so lucky with Christopher's but, as I have already said, I will be returning (whilst kicking and screaming) because the wife and kids love the place. Date: September 15, 2012, Wayne, PA (near Villanova University)

Christopher has a pleasant bar scene over-focused on sports. Nice variety of choices. Consistant quality of food and pleasant menu. I miss the pesto rizzotto fish on the menu. We eat there frequently and keep coming back.

We went to Christopher's last Friday night. To be completely honest we went to Wayne with the intentions of eating at Theresa's, but there was a 45 minute wait. However, we had a really great dinner and I have no complaints about the change in plans. Like many others have said there were a TON of kids at this place and it seems like all the parents collectively thought that this was the time to let them run around and do as they please. For dinner I got the sesame crusted tuna steak. The fish was great and the veggies accompanied the dish perfectly. I was completely blown away by the wasabi mashed potatoes! They were so different, but really tasty. My boyfriend had the roasted salmon and said it was great. The honey mustard horseradish glaze was tasty, but not overpowering. His favorite part was the spicy tomato side that the waiter recommended. They were REALLY spicy! We also had really great service the entire time we were here, the hostess, bartender and waiter were all super friendly and great. I am definitely looking forward to returning to Christopher's, but I think next time we will wait until the kids have been put to bed.

Good, not great. That's the best way to describe Christopher's. The other reviews are spot on when they note how it is often overrun with parents and their gaggles of children, and I'll touch on that later. But first the gastronomical review. The food is decent. Not the best in the area but it's not bad, and is not terribly priced. They have a large menu, and the times I've been there no one has been too terribly disappointed with what they got. They have a full bar and capable bartenders for those who want to stop in for a drink. I tend to like their choices for lunch better. They have tasty wraps that go good with a beer on a summer day, and their pizzas are not bad. As I said before, this place always seems to be packed with kids. Apparently Christopher's is completely okay with this though, as they proudly advertise on their website that they were selected as the "Best Place to Take the Kids" by Main Line Today magazine in 2009. So that rules out Christopher's as much of a date place, or somewhere you want to go with friends and have a few drinks with dinner. I don't know about you, but I always feel a bit awkward downing a few too many cocktails around tables of 10 year old kids all with balloons on their chairs. If you want to have a decent lunch but want to avoid the large groups and families, try to get a sidewalk table for lunch. As one of only two places in Wayne that offers outdoor seating, it's worth going just for that. Otherwise, hit it up later at night after the kids have all gone home, and you can get smashed with your friends at a bar without setting too bad an example for the kids.

My fiancee and I just started going here recently. It's a nice little place with good food, for sure. The sweet potato fries are excellent and my fiancee loved the crab mac and cheese. The beer selection is also slightly above average. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is the noise level. Noise doesn't usually bother me, unless it's from children. Here, the noise is from children. There are an inordinate amount of parents that bring their kids here, so beware.

One of my favorite places in Wayne. Though during the early evenings it is incredibly loud and crowded, late evening to close are the times i usually go. The staff is turbo friendly and willing to accommodate your needs. As someone who travels a decent amount, it is nice to come home on a Thursday night (relatively late) go in and grab a great dinner with a beer or two, and be able to talk to the regulars and the people that work there. The bartenders always have a smile on their face and are always willing to let patrons sample beers before they buy them. The decor is awesome and love the local art that is always changing on the walls to give a great vibe in the main dining area. Keep it up Chris!

This place is pretty good, despite being the Chuck E Cheese of Wayne. I work just down the road, so I stop in for lunch mostly. Not once has my order been right, though. If you want the salad dressing on the side, they will most definitely slather your salad in dressing. If you want ranch dressing, they will likely give you blue cheese. And so on and so on. They don't seem to write down the orders, so maybe that's the problem, but it's annoying regardless.

It's really 3.5 stars but I can't give 4 (not fair to my other 4 stars). And it's definitely not a 2 star. Christopher's is located in downtown Wayne, a block from the dead center of town. Walking around the other shops and getting coffee and grabbing lunch at Christopher's makes for a nice morning. Ok, fair enough...there are children there (the horror!) and it can seem to be filled with moms with kids (yikes as well)...but more times than not, its simply your normal average couple or family eating lunch. Their menu is fairly straightforward. Nothing really stands out but everything is good. The food is good, the lighting is good, the place is clean, the people are nice. I recommend it.

A large group of us moseyed down to Christopher's after dinner at Flanigan's. I loved the high ceilings and exposed brick. The place is beautiful, the drinks are strong, the service is good and they have live music. We only stayed for an hour, but we had a blast while we were there. Plus, I got to see my sweet, innocent cousin do a blow job shot from her sweet, innocent fiancé's crotch. They were mortified that we made them do that, but what are cousins for, but humiliating each other in public! ...wait, that's normal family stuff, right?

I meet my previous boss and his wife in Malvern often, as its very close to the train, and we have stopped here a few times, its not my favorite place to go in Wayne. If you are a parent-apparently its THE bar to take your children to. Tons of balloons were dotting the place by the time we left. We all joke about it now, and never have gone back, nor will we.

  • Joe G.

Good service and very family friendly. But food is mediocre at best and $4-$5 pricier (entrees) than comparable fare from Applebees, TGI Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays, etc.

I'm going to have to go with Emmy K on this one! I unknowingly chose Christopher's as the meeting place for a business lunch and we were like the silent island in a sea of screaming, possessed children. And yes, I do like kids; however, Christopher's seems to be the mecca for "Mommy and Me" lunch dates (the women who used to "do lunch" who now must drag their toddlers along) with the misbehaving munchkins getting away with a lot more than they would probably get away with at home. Going to Christopher's at night is a completely different experience. They have a nice bar, great bartenders, and good food. I've heard as well that after the dinner crowd they clear the tables away for dancing, although I haven't experience this myself. Their name, "Christopher's, a Neighborhood Place," is truly the perfect description to describe the restaurant.

I've been going to Christopher's for years. Consistently good food and great service (at least on the bar side, I've never actually sat on the restaurant side). Calamari is deliciously seasoned. Pizzas are good. Buffalo Chicken Salad is huge, a small is plenty for one person. Penne pasta has a great sauce that is even better as leftovers the next day. The kids, ballons and noise can be a little obnoxious, but is easily avoidable if you go later in the evening or on half price bottle of wine wednesdays.

It surprises me that people are so alarmed by Christopher customers and their children. If you're not a fan of sharing a restaurant with children, try dining on the later side you'll enjoy it more. Anyway, I've really enjoyed coming to Christopher's. I've mostly come on Monday nights around 10pm. The bartender always remembers a face even if it's been 6 months. The space is split into two sides bar and restaurant. One of the last times I was there were 19 of us in a giant herd. They were great about letting us sit in the restaurant section even though it was well past the dinner rush. The bar area has a modern "jukebox" and one of those game machines. I think I'm partly lured here because of Photo Hunt competitions with my friends. One of my favorite things about Christopher's is the Dum Dum lolly pops. Sometimes the waiters will hide the bowl of lolly pops if people get too greedy aka when people take hand fulls.

  • Kristine G.

I really like Christopher's. I've been there many times, but only for lunch. Every time, my experience is the same. The place is full with children (which I still don't get) and the servers are slow. But, the food is really satisfying. Yesterday, I got their BBQ chicken wrap. It came to the table piping hot and delicious. The mixture of Spanish rice with the sweetness of the BBQ sauce made it hard to put down. One day I'll have to try it for dinner; I just hope I'm not disappointed.

I like the food here. I like the bar here. It is for sure more geared towards Mommy and me play-groups. But if you can tune that out then you are golden. I like that Wayne has become a good meeting ground for suburbanites from all over. It is funny to see all of the LL Bean colors and plaids in full force.

It's a casual place to eat and drink. My favorite drink is sweet ice tea. This is a drink with a nice kick. Pizza is pretty good, and the interior is filled with local artists. Other than that, nothing special.

It is with great sorrow that this review is written. Christopher's was a great place for Sam and I to go after tango on Wednesdays. We joked that we were becoming regulars...but we liked the idea. The food was consistent, the service acceptable and their Wednesday wine special was perfect timing for our schedule. With our Wednesday night commitment in Wayne a thing of the past...we decided to take the drive from Media to Christopher's last night (in the rain) for the sake of the good ole days. The server who used to say "got it" all the time was now dressed in the garb of management and the staff huddled around the kitchen doing nothing much. Be it the peter principle at work or simply a bad night for the place...Sam and I contemplated walking out after sitting with menus for over 10 minutes with no one to greet us. The manager walked by 3 times and never once noticed our empty table and folded menus. (He was an attentive, capable server before.) Eventually someone came by and asked "Has your server been here?" Well, of course not, we don't even know who our server is. The person who was not our server took a drink order...and then we were left alone again. When our drinks arrived with our assigned and previously missing server, he put them on the table and said "Are you all ready?" Yes, in fact I was ready to tell him how little I thought of him, that he should be ashamed to call himself a server and had he learned not an ounce of social skill simply from being human? (I held my tongue, not wanting to act as old as I was feeling at that moment.) But really, he was rude, gruff and not at all apologetic for his tardiness. In fact, he seemed annoyed we were there. He took our order. No water, no bread, no further contact ensued. Sam's drink was not to his liking...but there was no one to talk to about it. The "got it" manager looked scared of making contact with anyone, even his staff as they freely did what they pleased: nothing. How can you run a restaurant and not have the desire, ability and sense to take note of each table in the place? To anticipate the needs of your customers, to note the stages of dining, how attentive are your servers being. There is no excuse for bad service when more than half the staff is standing chatting (on their cell phones) doing nothing to contribute to the success of the restaurant. Needless to say, I think our love affair with Christopher's came to grinding halt last night. We left disappointed and saddened by the loss. We are sure our hand written comment card was discarded...why would a server pass on such information? Why would a new manager risk letting his boss see the comment? And we really like their cobia special. It is the best bargain on the menu. Crab and scallion risotto, grilled scallions on top, a mild, flavorful grilled cobia fish on top. I can still recommend that...but perhaps take-out is a better option.

Best turkey burger in the country. And dessert tray (except for Oreo bread pudding). Service is ok and the restaurant is usually loud and overrun with masses of crazy children

  • Jessica P R.

I have seen other reviews calling this place "the tot lot from hell," and a place for "doctor/lawyer supported soccer moms who can't control their kids" and that makes me SO GLAD that I went there late. In Wayne I have often experienced poorly behaved children and that definitely ruins my meal/movie/shopping trip/etc. We arrived around 9:45 pm on a Saturday and the place was pretty empty. We were seated immediately and our waitress was polite and attentive. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. While the menu selection isn't the greatest, my boyfriend and I both managed to find something delicious! I will most definitely return, but not during the hours that kids may be there!

I gave 4 stars because I stick to two dishes that I absolutely love! They are the baby spinach salad and tomato and roasted garlic soup. Both are phenominal in my opinion. However, when I've been with others I have noticed other dishes that haven't been so good; hence my reasoning for sticking to my dishes and no 5 star rating. One dish that my fiance loves though is the Jambalaya. Definitely not a date restaurant; kids are always running around and it is exceptionally loud. If you're looking for a good soup and sandwich this is a good place to try. I enjoy sitting outside when the weather is nice.

Just okay. Service was whatever. The food was good- I had the chorizo pepper appetizer, and my friend had the chicken quesodillas. Seems like it's a family joint, not somewhere I'd go for a beer.

This place is a pain in my behind. I dont think I've ever been in here when there weren't about 100 tiny children SCREAMING at the top of their lungs and holding 8-10 helium balloons each. It's more than slightly terrifying, and the food isn't great, so there's nothing to make up for it. I only give it two stars because late at night, when the children are in bed, the bar is a fairly fun place to hang out in (comparitively speaking - this is of course Wayne, PA) - and I once had a hilarious night here that involved a stolen dessert tray, 50 shots of randomness, and a $700 bill that we stuck on my friend Kit (which wasn't hilarious the next day, let me tell you). But really, unless you absolutely are dying to be cried on, spit on, and have your ear drums BURST because of high pitch yells, I suggest you go elsewhere.

I'm not from PA but every time I am visiting, we usually stop by Christopher's for lunch or dinner. The food is pretty good. The atmosphere is nice, although it's not very big. The prices are reasonable and they have a pretty good selection.

  • Hearty F.

I like Christopher's. I recommend the spinach salad... hearty tasting... but not sure it's that healthy. Getting the dressing on the side will ruin the dish. Its been a while since I've visited (few months), but if all is the same, expect a warm welcome, a smaller sized dining area, friendly staff, a fair menu selection, delicious tastes, and a free lollypop at the host desk.

I have been here four times and each time I've enjoyed the Diver Sea Scallop immensely (one of the best salads I've ever ordered) and this is coming from someone who doesn't typically like vegetables in general. I also had the Chicken Pot Pie once and LOVED it. HOWEVER, I'm sad to report the number of large flies in this place is out of control. During lunch today two of the ladies on my team who I had taken to lunch had to forcefully swat these guys away! Yuk! I don't think I can go back anymore even though I enjoy the food.

Walked in and was told there would be a 35 minute wait. Waited patiently with a baby for 40 minutes and then was told to wait another 25 minutes because people just called with reservations after we walked through the door. Three hostesses at the front and not one has any idea what they are doing. Probably not coming back for the average food.

Christopher's is a great place for a bite to eat. First, the food is very good; the menu is mainly American, but the dishes are well prepared. The kids menu is good and the place normally has a lot of kids so it is definitely kid friendly. The price is not cheap, but I feel it is justified for the quality of food and service received. From what I can recall, there are "kids eat ..." special(s) on certain nights.

Almost every negative comment relates to noise level due to children. Children making noise is like music. Relax and enjoy a great staff, good food ... And bring the kids.

So, I'm updating my review on this one. As you will know from Lori's review, we recently decided to stop by on a Sunday night as opposed to our previously typical Wednesdays. I have to say that the food here is really good compared to other late-night options. And that's important. Actually, the fact that there even is a late-night option other than Manilla's is kinda impressive. Go Wayne! We had very disappointing service on our last return. Our waiter never showed up. One of the bus boys took our drink order and then tracked down our waiter who was standing in the bar (which I'm pretty positive he's too young to be in anyway, but I guess 18 is the minimum age to serve). I had the Pear-tini and it was decidedly tasteless. I mean, it didn't really even taste like Vodka. I'm guessing it was just green water with a splash of Vodka. Either that or it sat long enough for the alcohol to evaporate. We weren't given water when we first sat down. I had to ask the hostess to get us some water between shifts of wandering between the kitchen and the front. I also had to ask her for some bread for the table. And separately I had to ask her for some olive oil. One thing that I saw that really bothered me was one of the waiters talking on his cell phone. There were two tables waiting for a "hello" and this guy is on his cell phone? In the dining area? Whatever! I will probably go back to Christopher's. However, I can promise I won't be going on a weekend and I won't be going for the service.

If you are a doctor/lawyer-supported soccer Mom who can't control your children in public, this is the place for you. Don't get me wrong, I love kids, but the numbers of "underparented" kids that frequent this place is extreme. Think upscale Chucky Cheese without entertainments for the kids. The menu caters to the kiddies. The more adult selections are OK, but forgettable. It gets the second star because it is open late, the food is acceptable and God-bless the staff there for putting up with kids who's parents don't do their duty and teach the kids to behave in public.

It's interesting to see the prevelance of negative comments regarding the fact that this place attracts families. Christopher's is billed as a neighborhood place and the neighborhood of Wayne is nothing if not a great place to raise a family. C'mon people. This review is long overdue. I was so pleased to have been stuck in Wayne during the last snow storm of winter 2010/11 because I was going to be able to eat at Christopher's, which is within walking distance of the Wayne Hotel. The place was packed. The main room was full of families all out for some relief from the cabin fever that this winter brought. Apart from trips to the bathroom, the bar side doesn't see much of the kids. Beside me there was a Dad & son catching up over a plate of Nachos and behind them, a group of 30 somethings out celebrating a colleague, all near the bar with a crowd that ranged from 20 something to 60 something. That is the neighborhood that Wayne is. I must say there was a touch of "Courier and Ives" to the whole scene with people waving familiar hellos & goodbyes as they came and went. I ordered the baby spinach salad which was just perfect and followed it with my favourite dish there: the duck confit pizza. They have taken a new direction with adding a lot of locally sourced and organic ingredients to the menu. I washed all this down with a couple of very resonably priced glasses of SB. Both Erika and Zoe were outstanding. Christopher's has been in business over 10 years because they do what they do so well and that's why I'm giving them 5*.

Good food and decent prices. But stick to the basics like burgers and the fried stuff. Entrees are not as good for the price. It is also very kid friendly and has outdoor seating which is nice.

My boyfriend and I used to go here once in awhile, but always had the same experience. Unruly, undisciplined children running wild all over this place! Now don't get me wrong, I don't hate children. I just lose my patience with parents who don't take the time to teach their little ones how to behave when they're in public. I know some would recommend coming here later. Well how about parents either taking control over their kids, getting a sitter, or going to Chuck E Cheese or some other family oriented restaurant? When you dine out, you're not just paying for food and drink, it's the ambience as well. I didn't sign up for a romper room. This place serves alcohol...unless they need a drink to put up with the whining and screaming, I don't think this is the type of environment for tots. Okay, now that's out of my system...let's get down to business. The menu isn't vast, but the food is satisfying. The service can be hit or miss (the servers are probably too busy trying to avoid dropping piles of plates on children running between their legs). The noise level gets a little loud so it's not a spot for an intimate conversation. If your a parent or a lover of naughty kids, here's your haven. For everyone else, look elsewhere.

Christopher's, on most nights of the week, is the restaurant equivalent of spending 2 hours at the tot lot from hell while simultaneously flushing money down the toilet. In fact, if you asked for the 35 dollars in one dollar bills that it costs for 2 people to eat average-tasting food, you would probably enjoy yourself more by flushing them one by one. Allow me to elaborate... During my visit, my friend and I were squeezed at a deuce (a table for two, for those of you unfamiliar with restaurant terms) behind the hostess stand. Seated behind me was a man of such hefty girth that I was allotted approximately 2 inches of room to move around. Next to us was a proverbial zoo of kindergarden ages hellions who kept whacking their yellow balloons into our entrees. Also, because Christopher's is essentially one giant open room, every table's conversation echoed louder than ours and I had a hard time hearing what my friend was saying. When the bacon cheeseburger that I ordered arrived, it took the waitress about 10 minutes to locate me some ketchup. My 9 dollar cheeseburger had essentially no flavor, even WITH the bacon, and instead of fries they gave me chips. This is dinner, people. I shouldn't have to pay an extra 2 dollars for a handful of fries on the DINNER menu. Lunch I could understand. The only people that should ever spend money at Christophers and expect a relaxing time are the deaf, blind, extremely patient or those that themselves contribute to the zoo of children in the restaurant every night.

Following a shaky period where new kitchen staff was not performing up to prior standards, Christopher's has once again righted itself and has become our go to place in Wayne. For anyone with children, this is far and away the best option in the area if you are looking for a meal out with good quality food, a kid-friendly staff/atmosphere, where adults can still feel like adults.

Identity crisis! I roll in for lunch today and sit at the large full bar. Ten feet away is the hostess podium with a giant bowl of lollipops for what I assume are the kids. Yup, here they come now, ready to run around and cause a ruckus. My very friendly bartender reals off the specials and each dish has so many ingredients it screams gastro pub. But wait, the place is super casual with very casual furnishings. There is no way it feels like a gastro pub. What is this place? So I order a Braised brisket Sandwich for $9.75. It arrives quickly and the toasted soft roll is to die for. The brisket, not so much. It's over cooked and a little tough and fatty. The entire plate was quite small including a tiny cup of coleslaw and a few chips. Maybe I shouldn't bitch so much for $9.75. It may have had "smoky sautéed onions" on it but there was no way in hell it was anything but a three star casual sandwich. This place is surrounded by serious upscale restaurants. It's likely a good choice for an economical lunch in the area. I'm not ready to give up on them yet. I'll try them again and hopefully I won't step on any rug rats!

The thing remember the most unfortunately was the waiter being a little careless but the food came out pretty quickly and it was a good portion. I got the shrimp wrap which had fresh flavors and plenty of each ingredient. People I was with got the crazy chicken wrap and the flank salad and they enjoyed them as well! I would probably go back again.

Writing an update since I've come here for drinks and dessert so many times recently. I would recommend coming here for drinks- their wines and mixed drinks are more reasonably priced than places like White Dog- but they really don't seem to like to give you a table if you're not ordering dinner, even if it's 8 or 9 o'clock and the dinner rush is over. I would also recommend the peanut butter pie or chocolate mousse cake for dessert- my favorites.

As we pulled up to a very crowded Christophers on Friday evening, a valuable parking space opened and I took it (a good omen). I noticed that there is also outdoor dining here (two tables) (both occupied at the time we arrived). We went in (3 of us) and were told about 1/2 hour wait, so we went to the bar. The atmosphere in here is dark, sort of panelled wood. I ordered a Merlot at the bar and before it arrived, our table opened up! (Less than 5 minutes!) We ordered an appetizer which was sort of a panini type dish with guac or something (not sure what it was) but it was tasty. Our entrees? Aioli tuna with wasabi sauce, a meatloaf and mashed potatoes, a veggie burger and fries. The service was a bit slow as the place was very crowded and we arrived at the fashionably late hour of 7 to dine.....for that alone I took off a star but the food was good, hot and my veggie burger was one of the best I've ever had. Covered with cheddar and not that grainy boca burger stuff but more thick with a yellowish grain color inside and the fries were hot and good as well. My other two friends also gave 5 stars to their meals. We split a dessert...peanut butter pie and it was delish!

This is one of the few restaurants in Wayne that has made it more than five years in the town which is more than most others can say. Everyone in the area has been to Christopher's a handful of times. They watch you grow up there; as kids you go there to eat lunch or dinner with your family on occasion, then as you reach the age of 21 you realize that half of the darn place is a bar that is pretty hoppin at night. No matter what night of the week it is, there will always be people at the bar at Christopher's. I love happy hour there as well as a simple hangout any night of the week. Their food is pretty good, although nothing spectacular. Pizza is delish and I really like their salads as well. Nice central location in the town of Wayne. Ideal to walk to for a drink after seeing a movie on the corner at Anthony Wayne.

Really enjoy it when I am in the neighborhood and get to pop in. It has a solid menu for a range of tastes, but not in a mediocre/boring way. One time friend of mine almost licked the plate, he liked it so much.

The service was good and food came out fast and delicious. Chicken slouvaki (sorry on this spelling) pizza was great, Caesar salad was lettuce, some cheese crumbs and croutons with dressing (which was really what I expected) and the turkey burger was yummy. Our server could have been a little friendlier but we were in and out in under an hour. Great spot for a bite and a brew.

Solid food but just OK service. When I sat down, the waitress didn't bother to tell us the specials, but went over the specials with the people who later sat down next to us who were older and ordering drinks.

Christopher's has become a mainstay in Wayne over the years- my first visit was with my parents as a much younger child shortly after they opened more than a decade ago and I have been to the restaurant countless times since then. Since moving to Wayne after graduating college, I found out that Christopher's has two personalities: a family-friendly restaurant during the day, and a bar scene later at night (especially when the area colleges are in session). While the restaurant is entirely appropriate for people without kids, it definitely seems to be a hotspot to families with younger kids, especially around dinner time. It is not always the case, but I have had a few visits to the restaurant where the number of kids was a little overwhelming. If you're looking for a quiet, intimate dinner Christopher's is probably not the place (especially if you peek inside and see a lot of balloons in the air). The menu is generally hit or miss- I have had some really great dishes at Christopher's but also some fairly disappointing ones. Sticking with simpler items such as salads, the flatbreads, burgers, tacos, etc. seems to be the best strategy here. I've tried a few of the pasta dishes before and haven't been a big fan. On the positive side, I've had the fish tacos recently which were very good. Other consistently good items include the caesar salad, nachos, fried polenta sticks, and most of the flatbreads. There's a good beer list that seems to have been expanded fairly recently with some really great options (especially if you are willing to consider some of the bottled options in addition to the draught list). Prices aren't outrageous but I'd say the are on the higher end of Yelp's $$ rating. Later in the night, the kids leave and Christopher's turns into Wayne's interpretation of a bar scene. This is usually when I'm at Christopher's. It's typically not too crazy but always lively enough to not be depressing (which some of the others along N Wayne can get). The kitchen stays open pretty late (until 1 I think), the bar tenders are always friendly, and service is consistently good, especially considering the time. Sitting at the tables near the bar, the bar tender will always check in from time to time. They also don't mind allowing you to sit at pretty much any table in the restaurant, so if standing around isn't your thing I've never had an issue grabbing a table somewhere. In addition to the good beer selection, from 10-12 you can grab bud light bottles for $2, which is a pretty good deal, especially considering where you are. There's also a Yelp check-in deal for $2 Yeunglings. If you're bored late at night in Wayne, check Christopher's out. Otherwise, during the day visit for an above average menu and a pretty consistent experience.

Not impressed at all. $16.95 for a 'Mediterranean Salad with Souvlaki Chicken". It was lettuce, onion, a couple tomatoes and grilled chicken. I get a better Greek salad for $5 in the city. Yuck.

Before last night, I had only been here once a few years ago after the Great American Pub literally ignored us when we came in. This place was great, and the southwest burger was tasty. So when it came time to find a restaurant for a large group, I remembered Christopher's and I'm glad I chose it! And it just so happened to be half-priced wine bottle Wednesday, which is awesome. Our amazing server did separate checks for everyone, and our food was really, really good. I had the meatloaf with sweet potato fries and Brussels sprouts and I housed the whole thing. So good. I also tried a couple bites of the peanut butter pie and it was REALLY yummy! I'll definitely be back!

I've been here twice for lunch. They have a nice menu with some unique combinations. The food is good and the wait staff and greeters were nice and helpful. For example when we arrived they recommended seating that was away from two loud parties so I could talk with the person I was with. Both times I've had a pleasant experience and good food and service. The only downside is the parking during lunch. It's limited and on a busy street. I'd recommend this place, but I'd go around 11:30 for lunch or you could be walking.

We came here because of the great reviews online. The space looks great, it's clean and huge. Definitely a family place. When we got there, almost every table had a young child. The waiter service was very quick up until the end when we were trying to pay the bill and leave. I started off with the beef chili soup. Mainly because I was planning on getting fries w my sandwich and was in the mood for chili cheese fries. The beef chili soup wasn't overly salty or too chunky. It was good! I had the crabcake sandwich with french fries. The crabcake smelled like and tasted like fried fish. I was confused and had Joe try it too, and he agreed with me that it didn't taste like crab at all. I did appreciate the mango pineapple salsa, it was very refreshing. The french fries were hot and crispy and not greasy at all. They were especially delicious with the beef chili. Joe was in the mood for avocado and when he found out that the blue plate special of the day was a turkey club with avocado and it came with a chicken noodle soup. Joe liked that his sandwich was light and fresh. Joe enjoyed his chicken noodle soup. I thought it looked oily but turns out it was natural chicken juices. This was a great lunch spot. They have a very eclectic menu! I was debating whether or not to get pizza or a sandwich. Overall, I would return because the food quality was great and the price is right! Plus you get those little tiny dum dum lollipops on your way out.

Christopher's is in my regular rotation of "usual spots". The menu has good variety and I have never gotten something I didn't like! Great place to go with my toddler and kids eat free on Tuesdays. Outdoor seating in the summertime is a huge plus. Definitely recommend!

Christopher's is very special. It truly lives up to its "neighborhood place" vibe as the atmosphere is relaxed, not pretentious, and the food is great! There are so many places on the Main Line that hype up their offerings with fancy ingredients and smaller portions, but if you are craving classic American food done right, this is your place. Late Night Menu Served Until 1 AM - We both work late hours in restaurants, and it's nice to be able to sit down after a shift and enjoy some quality food, even if it's midnight on a Tuesday. Christopher's late night menu satisfies your hunger with choices that are appealing and tasty. Organic Burger - No rating My boyfriend really enjoyed his burger. He ordered his with smoked gouda, and requested guacamole and jalapenos on the side and put them on the burger. Turkey Burger (Bibb, Tomato, Mayo, served with a Pickle and Potato Chips) - 4 out of 5 I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this burger turned out. It was big, full of flavor, and juicy. I would recommend subbing out the chips for sweet potato fries. Sweet Potato Fries - 4 out of 5 I've never been a french fry aficionado, but these fries are very good. They tasted like they were dusted with cinnamon and sugar. I would have preferred more salt. Peanut Butter Pie - 5 out of 5 (!!!!!!!!!!!) Wow. Best peanut butter pie ever! The peanut butter mousse strikes the perfect balance of rich, sweet, nutty, and silky on the palate. The crust, ohhh the crust, hugs the inside of your mouth with the crunch of a cookie-pie crust. Sure, you can head down the street to Flemmings for the chocolate lava cake, or to White Dog Cafe for an imaginative sweet, but if you are craving a classically great dessert that will satisfy your sweet tooth and give you a food memory, the search ends here. There were two small details that held this dish from its potential. (The Pastry Chef may consider upping the quality of the chocolate sauce drizzle (Hershey's is icky) and using freshly-made whipped cream instead of the canned.) Red Velvet Cake - 4 out of 5 Another awesome, compelling rendition of a classic American dessert. I detracted one start because I would have enjoyed more icing on the cake and a more pronounced cream cheese flavor. Service - We sat at the bar and service is /always amazing/. Dan & Pat are always on point, from filling up our waters, topping off out wines, offering condiments, etcetera. They both possess the gift of being professional and friendly all while providing service that is always present and never obtrusive.

I have celiac so this place is perfect for myself. While i recognize regular food is not so great. I can get any sandwich and pizza on the menu because they do gluten free. I think the food is delicious. Yes it is a bit pricey. My fav is the greek pizza. Fresh ingredients and great warm or cold. They have indoor and outdoor dining. I prefer the outdoor or sitting at bar. The bar area is nice and open. Hard to watch tv in there but I have caught some eagles games there before. Overall one of my favorite places.

I've passed by Christopher's many times over the years, and finally gave it a try recently. I am definitely a fan! Sat at the bar with my brother and enjoyed dinner here on a Tuesday night. Rob the bartender makes a great cocktail I must say. The food here is traditional American fare. We tried the fried avocado appetizer- served with fire roasted tomato salsa, balsamic reduction, and cotija cheese. Never thought of frying avocado, but it's light and tasty! I recommend ordering this if you don't want something overly filling to start off with. One of the entree specials that night was seared sesame tuna with a soy glaze. Sounded delicious so I couldn't resist trying it. It was accompanied with sriacha mashed potatoes and a wasabi cream drizzled around the plate. Devoured the mashed potatoes. I love spicy food, so of course it could have been hotter, but it brought a mild heat that was enjoyable with the tuna. There could have been a tad more of the wasabi cream on the plate, but overall it was a great entree. Rob recommended that my bro order the pork chop, because it is something he claims to dream about and orders at least one every couple weeks. With an endorsement like that, he had to give it a try. The 14oz chop is cooked in the brick oven that they cook the pizzas in, which I think gives it a great outer coating since it has a cherry molasses glaze. It's served with corn grits, zucchini and yellow squash. I tried a bite and it was cooked perfectly. The cherry glaze added a sweet and tangy component. Well done, Christopher's. I won't be a stranger.

Christopher's is the pinnacle of the Wayne food scene, not in taste perhaps, but in recognizability. Everyone goes to or has been to Christopher's. The menu is pretty big, and everything is pretty good, but not great. While Minella's Diner defines the 3 star restaurant, Christopher's is pretty much a 4 all the way through and through. The pizzas are pretty good, as is the bacon, burgers, and like I said, everything else. Avoid at all costs on Friday and Saturday nights. Other than that, it's worth a try.

Christopher's is one of my favorite places in Wayne. I brought out of town guests on Friday night and they were happy, too. The nachos are THE BEST -perfect chip to topping ratio with the salsa and guacamole really being outstanding. It was crowded but with a happy group of people.

Christopher's is awesome & we love it! We go all the time & feel like we are "home" when we are there! We go there soo much that the owner, Chris has joked that our own kitchen must be in the renovation process! The food & staff are amazing EVERY TIME along with the management! Christopher's is a great place to goto any time of day & we have never been disappointed! Both locations are awesome but our fav is Wayne! The Malvern location is delicious as well & blows any other restaurant in that area (Devon/Berwyn) & you should go!;-)))

Stopped in for lunch today for a quick bite. We split the three-flauta appetizer; they were flavorful and crispy and served with greens and roasted corn. We ordered two sandwiches and split them - the Cuban and the crispy chicken with bacon. We were underwhelmed by both. The flavors on the Cuban did not meld well, and the crispy chicken, which was on both sandwiches was not particularly crispy. Both sandwiches were large, chock full of meat, and filling, One of us ordered the sweet potato fries but neither found them to be extraordinary. The flautas came on an oval ceramic plate. The sandwiches were served in 9" metal pie plates that were lined with waxed paper, for reasons that were not clear. We arrived just before noon and the place filled up fast with local working folks on their lunch break. They do serve alcohol.

We were actually headed somewhere else on the same street, but it was an hour wait, so we ended up at Christopher's. Looking at the menu, it had a comfort food feel to it. So we ended up sharing the nachos and fried avocado, and I got ahi tuna entree that came with siracha mashed potatoes - everything was yummy! My only criticism is I wish the potatoes had a little bit more siracha flavor in it. My date thought it was fine as is... but I do tend to douse my fried rice with siracha. Oh, and quick story, I'm not sure if it was the manager that came up to us, but at some point, we were waiting for our waitress to return to take our order and she was taking a while... so I guess it was the manager that noticed us looking around, and he took our orders for us, which I was pretty pleased/impressed with. And as someone else did mention, definitely crowded with families and their kids...

My favorite breakfast spot. Christopher's uses fresh local ingredients. My favorite meal to order is the veggie burger. It's only a short walk from the train station and a place I always recommend to people looking for a bite in Wayne. Lots to do within walking distance from the restaurant. A little too family friendly sometimes for my liking. None the less great spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night eats.

Well, for starters the service was great. I recently went there with my wife and children and the food was great! The only down side was when my wife ordered her salad and she found a hair in her mouth when she took the first bite of her salmon. I would've have this five stars if this incident didn't occur.

I've been to Christophers a few times and its a consistently good place to grab a bite to eat. The food is not exceptional but its good, and the menu is pretty big. Its essentially a higher end local take on a casual sit down dining establishment. There is a full bar, and decent beer selection too.

I came to Christopher's for dinner tonight. My sister had suggested it after researching restaurants in the area which cater to organic desires. Some of their burgers are made with grass fed organic beef and they apparently dabble in the organic vegetable trade. I however didn't care about that so much. I nabbed a Meatball Pizza and some Allagash Draft brews. For a single person it was definitely filling (the potato skins also aided in this).. and I definitely think I need to stop gorging so much on delicious food these days. Still, the pizza was topped with ricotta cheese, spinach, sauce, and meatballs. Now, I was worried it would end up being either actual round little meatballs (which would roll when I tried to eat them) or meatball-esque crumbles. I was happy to find the meatballs on this pizza were in fact sliced from larger ones, as if they were pepperoni shaped. The food was really good and I was incredibly satisfied at the end of my meal. The prices are pretty standard for this type of place, if not perhaps .50-1.00 more. Still, it's a case of the price being due to better ingredients, and not more in-greedy-ents. Our server was very helpful in finding me an appropriate brew to drink during the meal. I am not too knowledgable about what sets different types of beers apart but I know what I love from the brewery back home. That said I ended up on a summery blonde type beverage, of which I had two. Our server was also generally attentive and friendly. Never though was she smothery. A perfect server. Something else I thought cool about this bar/restaurant atmosphere was both how laid back it was but also how they had a bunch of art on the wall. I saw Bill Murray, Lucille Ball, Superman, Elvis, and more done in a cool way on a matte finish. A Kyle something did them. About once a month they rotate local artists it sounded like and you can actually buy the art if you'd like right off the wall. I love it when restaurants work with the community like that. All around, this was a great Philly-suburbs meal. Whether you're visiting for SAP training, you go to college around here, or you just live nearby,... this is a must-try!

I wish our experience was as good as the reviews. The place was loud, ok bars are loud but we couldn't tell our waiter what we wanted without shouting. We got the feeling that the food would be average at best because the menu was all over the place, how could they do anything well? When we ordered a variety of appetizers only, our waiter Julian, rolled his eyes, and that was pretty much the last time we saw him until we requested the check. Not a very good impression for our first and last time there. BTW, the potato skins were raw.

We've eaten here twice. Both times we got burgers, so I have no idea what the rest of the menu is like. That said, the burgers are probably the best I've had in any restaurant in the area. The service was also fast and friendly.

I have been to Christopher's many times - for brunch, lunch and dinner. I usually leave pretty satisfied. The food is not outstanding, but its decent. They have a great selection, which should accommodate almost everyone's cravings, as well as a full bar with a solid selection. Also, the service is always good. For us, Christopher's is a good default when we can't decide where else to go. Also seems to be a good place to take kids as it is always full of families and children.

GREAT burger, so-so service, confusing beer menu. C's has a very eclectic menu, with everything from classic Americana (pulled pork sandwiches, burgers, and pot pie) to some pretty authentic-sounding Mexican fare (cheese enchiladas with pumpkin seed sauce topped with crema). The server wasn't able to convey exactly which beers were available on tap and which were served by bottle. Ordering beer was therefore a rather awkward game of 20 questions. Although I don't understand the addition of crema to it, the Deluxe Burger was outstanding. The accompanying fresh cut fries were also up to the task. A great belly busting one-two punch. Despite lackluster service and a lack of their better beers on tap, I would go back in a heartbeat for the burger and fries.

A family restaurant that also has a good bar. Kid friendly, in fact this is the go to place for families in the area. Loud and crowded, reservations required. Food is good in concept but unfortunately only okay in execution. Full bar with interesting draft beers. Front windows open and outdoor seating so it's a pleasant place to drink on a nice workday, i.e. when it's not busy.

For having a pretty crammed full house, we got a table immediately. Service was patient and attentive. Beer selection minimum, but solid nonetheless. Their menu options are scarce but all appetizing. The fried avocado, good, but the Quesadillas nothing to brag about. Same goes to the fish tacos. Bland. The price is right. though. Reasonable. I'll give it one more shot, but stick to Appetizers.

Christopher's is definitely one of my favorite restaurants! I've probably gone 20+ times within the past 2 years. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the staff is very friendly, and the food is always delicious. Their appetizers are great, fried polenta sticks being one of my favorites. They have a veggie burger that is unlike any other veggie burger I've had. Haven't tried any of their desserts being as I'm always too full by the end of the meal, but, they really do look delicious! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It does get crowded over the weekends, and its a hit with families (most with young kids), but I've never gotten bad or slow service because of it. Christopher's has never disappointed me. It's a great restaurant that provides excellent food and service every single time.

The food is pretty good, but if you don't want to be surrounded by 30 kids, don't eat here. If you have kids, this place is great!

Yum! I've been to Christopher's a few times and it's always been a good experience. But tonight, what brought me to write a review was... The applesauce! It was deliciously amazing! It was homemade and chunky and cinnamony. Food was delicious and fulfilling. I've sat at the bar and had a great time. There's outside seating, high top tables, big tables ... It's got a place for everyone and there's a wide variety of options on the menu. Worth a visit!

Absolutely my favorite place since moving here a year ago. The food is always good. Great staff. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu. Love the crazy chicken wrap. Great spot. Totally loved this restaurant while I lived here. Moving, but I'll definitely be stopping here every time I'm in the area!!

This is a great place for dinner. Very casual, diverse menu and great service. The owners (Chris and Molly) are always around and take great interest in their guests and go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. You can normally find Chris in the kitchen. Great bartenders as well. Good for date night and dinner with the kids. Definite repeat!

Very good food and warm and friendly place. We were stranded in Wayne with car trouble. The Wayne Hotel recommended Christopher's. They set us up with a great meal of coal oven pizzas, arugula salad, and buttered ziti for my 6 year old. Very comforting.

I came here while on a business trip to visit our Wayne, PA office in late March. My co-worker and I went here to grab lunch before I took the train to the airport. For a local, downtown lunch and dinner place, they had a great selection of food on their menu. I've only been this one time to eat lunch, though. My review is based on where this is located (it's a suburban location, so I know that caters to a certain taste that can be less adventuresome/less picky), but I thought the atmosphere was nice. It's a good place for a business lunch, and convenient if you need to head to the train station after your meal. I had a spinach salad and my co-worker had a burger. The salad (dressing on the side) was nice and fresh; my co-worker enjoyed her burger. We saw a birthday party (a few adults accompanying a large group of kids) so this place caters to kids as well. Overall, a nice place for lunch or dinner in downtown Wayne. It won't blow you away, but it won't disappoint you either.

Menu looked very good. Seemed very noisy inside so we chose outdoor seating, which was very relaxing. Unfortunately, the sidewalk has a slant to it. My deluxe cheeseburger was delicious. Sweet potato fries were good too. Would have liked to have seen a beer on TAP menu rather than having to remember what was rattled off to me. But service was nice and friendly. Love the outdoor atmosphere on N. Wayne Ave. in Wayne.

I love this place. The hubby and I are new to the area and as parents to a toddler we were searching for a 'fun, cool, kid-friendly' place - which is usually hard to find. However when we went to Christopher's, it exceeded our expectations. They had a ton of high chairs and also placed us further away from the night time adult dinner crew. They had a nice kid friendly menu but also had a fun adult menu and of course fun cocktails. We were all happy. It was also reasonably priced. The pizza and salad were great and enough to share for two. This place is def a favorite.
