The saving grace for this place is the portions. You get a whole lot of food if you order any pasta dish, and unlimited salad and breadsticks. The food isn't all that good though. The sauce is bland. Soups are good. Salad is mad crunchy! Service is what you would expect from a huge chain company, hit and miss. Usually good though.

Excellent as always!! Had one of their new dishes... Mediterranean Chicken (feta cheese, basil, olives, spinach, tomatoes...over pasta..). It was awesome!! Service was great too.

Great location! Always helpful. Saw a manager take a lot of yelling from a large party that didn't understand that their size effected wait time. She took it in stride, but there was no making them happy. Her swift handling of this loud group kept the situation under control and maintained the quality of our experience!

Walked in, was seated, then walked out. 1) Dining room is so loud, it's roaring. 2) It's too crowded and cramped. What happened? When did Olive Garden turn into Golden Corral? Went next door to Longhorn and had a meal with my wife in peace. To be clear: I did not try the food or even experience the service. The environment was way too poor to stay.

"Italian Kitchen"..... Um not quite! There are so many real Italian restaurants in the area that blow OG away! Everything is so bland, over-salted, and well.... Just not good! Prices seem so high for the quality of food. I'm always stuck going here for birthday dinners and no one ever seems so impressed! The wedding soup should be ashamed of itself!!!! Servers are always nice, but there are other local/ independent places that actually serve Italian food!

All you can eat soup, salad and breadsticks? Yes please! I went here on a Thursday afternoon with my roommate and we had a pleasant experience. The waiter was attentive and re-filled our bowls when we needed them and brought us plenty of salad and breadsticks. We were pleased!

Like any other OG. Long wait for pasta I can cook better at home. I do like their steak Gorgonzola balsamic reduction. (don't try making at home) YUCK. Decent service usually high school kids. Often fast decent service will fix issues if any arise. Nothing overly nice or bad to say.

Im a fan of Olive Garden. It is super consistent, priced right and the service is always decent. I have always had a good experience at all of them I have been to. My preference is to not frequent chain restaurants, I will always opt for something more interesting and inventive but........ I have a motto..... "when in doubt choose the Olive Garden" I love the changes to the menu with lighter fare and more interesting combinations.

I don't get why people are all over this place. We know it's not from Italy, we know the ads are a lie and we know this is "Americanized Italian." Like many world travelers, I've been to ltaly once and my parents 3 times, so in my family comparisons aren't close. You won't be dining on the Piazza Navona so get over it. I have no reservations or naïveté I just understand it for what it is and nothing more. They put out an interesting product and feature creative dishes that do hit the spot sometimes. I'm pretty lenient on them but let's not fault the individual restaurants and staff because their corporate hierarchy portrays it as authentic.

Unlimited soup and salad followed by delicious chicken Alfredo (I sent compliments to the chef for this) and amazing tiramisu !!! and love the friendly staff ....

Terrible experience!!! Service was extremely slow. Music blasting in background. Screaming kids in all directions. Manager was more concerned with getting more take-out orders than addressing these issues! Never will return to this location. Cranberry location much quieter and service is exceptional there.

This is a decent Olive Garden location in the Mills. We had the seafood brodetto and shrimp primavera, along with some house wine, and were satisfied with the taste and quality of the food. The minestrone soup was also good. The main downside for us was that the waiters were cleaning up other tables while we were eating and the cleaning liquid had a not-so-good odor. The interior is pretty much similar to other Olive Gardens I have been to. Decent, but chainy looking. Where we sat was somewhat dark, which could be good or bad. We considered it romantic -- if not for the odor of the cleaning liquid. If you feel like eating at a chain (which is likely your unavoidable fate while you are at the Mills) , this may not be a bad choice. Tell them beforehand not to clean up with odorous liquids, however!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
