I soooooooo want Donna's to live up to its potential! It is desperately needed in this area. I've been there three times now (four if you count the takeout pizza) and each time there was something just off enough to be annoying. The menu is wonderful...creative and much more interesting than you'd expect to find around here. The first time we went, I had the chicken club...made with breaded, fried breast fillets. Unfortunately, the chicken was way overcooked - dry and pretty much black on the outside. That trip we couldn't try the deep fried oreos because they were having trouble with the fryer. Next time I ordered the Chicken Parmesan...would have been lovely had the chicken not been Undercooked in the middle. I know...right? Third time's the charm, yes? Not so much. The chef mixed up our entrees...the eggplant parm and the chicken parm were on the wrong pastas. They went back to the kitchen and came back with the chicken and eggplant swapped and barely warm. The eggplant was dry, overcooked or sitting around too long? We couldn't have coffee with our desserts because someone had put salt in the coffee machine? The cinnamonolis were nice but the caramel dipping sauce was insufficiently heated and sludgey. My husband loves their chili dogs and we both really enjoyed the pizza we got from there. The service is pretty good...nice, friendly people. The décor is pleasant.

well... the hash was good, the pancake flat and not much flavor, they were out of fruit, no oatmeal or other cereal offerings, the coffee medium, but the staff was great.

Stopped here for lunch as it was rated five stars. Service was slow even though we were literally the only people in the restaurant. Food was average but really don't know why it's called a bistro. Not even close to being a bistro. Should have taken the hint to pass the restaurant by when we didn't see any cars. 20 minutes after we left I began to get sick to my stomach. I think it was the burger. I am still very very sick and will not be back ever. Had to give it one star to be able to post this review. Food poisoning's a b$(&@

Stopped by after Claws and Paws, found it deserted. That's not bad for us though, 4 small kids means we like deserted. The food was good across the board. Though, not of 5 star caliber. Emily was very pleasant. All in all, a very good small town restaurant.

Coming from a different state, this is a must stop if your in PA. There unique menu items, is spot on every time we come here. And their deep fried Oreos are ridiculous. Home meals combine with the chefs unique food combination are hit.

Elizabeth is an EXCELLENT server to pair with the delicious food here. She is experienced and obviously enjoys her work...nothing worse than a grumpy server even with great food! The veggie panini had beautiful thin layers of peppers, yellow squash, zucchini and a large piece of crispy battered eggplant that was still excellent as cold leftovers later. My boyfriend's cheese steak on ciabotta roll was also tasty. The homemade potato chips and fresh cut french fries were great too. We eat out alot and if we lived locally, we would be regular customers here. I hope the locals and tourists will keep supporting this lovely eatery!

Wow. What a gem!! Literally is five stars. Decor is homey and clean. Service is friendly and warm. Elizabeth was great! The chef Anthony knows what he is doing. The food was all made fresh from scratch. I mean who has wraps that are flavored with cool mint and tangerine??!!! Awesome!!! Why do places this good have to be in the middle of nowhere and not around the corner from me in Hoboken? Well worth the 10-15min drive from the hideout! Can't wait to try the pizza, wraps and whatever specials they can come up with!

Absolutely fantastic food! Anthony makes the best pizzas anywhere around, hands down. Worth a 30 minute ride to get one. Tried the Grilled chicken wrap today (picture included) and it was smack your mama good! Everything is fresh and hand made. Service was excellent and the place is clean as a whistle. Everyone is so friendly and Anthony will even come out and say hi! Quaint and cozy is worth a drive out to check it out.

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT I HAVE VISITED IN THE POCONOS. This restaurant came highly recommended by a friend of mine who is a chef and he never disappointes. Aside from the delicious food choices, the service is great. I had the opportunity to speak to owner and I was impressed with hospitality and commitment to making sure I had an enjoyable experience. This restaurant is a must try.

My fiancé and I had the opportunity to dine here this evening, making it our third time so far, and I gotta say, third time's a charm. We were very pleasantly surprised with much better tasting food and I give MAJOR thumbs up to the garlic mashed potatoes. Was really wanting to try a fried snickers for dessert but was way too full. Definitely heading back for more very soon. Got to meet the two owners, Anthony and Vincent who were so gracious, social and accommodating.....something that you just don't experience in a lot of eateries today. Wishing them the best of luck and hope they'll be around here for a long time to come.
