You know what this place is good for? A joke....that's about it. Or if you want to get in a fight with one of the local yocals this is your place.

Mel's is an amazing establishment if you give it a chance. New management has stepped in and they are making excellent changes. The bar may look a little rough on the outside, but they'll treat you like family if you give them the chance. Give this place a try before you completely write it off. Food is good, and the alcohol is reasonably priced.

This bar is definitely NOT friendly to the out of town visitor - local trouble makers are what this bar primarily draws. It's unfortunate because in such a small town a place like this could have real potential if it kicked out the riff-raff and cleaned up a bit.

Just had a kick ass burger ! Its the Mel's special. I truly enjoyed it. Great atmoshpere and great food.

Was a little iffy going in to Mel's, but had heard good things about the new owners. So we tried it. We went on Wednesday for stomboli it was delicious. We had great appetizers and the drinks were good as well. The owner waited on us and he was great. Bar was busy! Overall a great experience!
