Came here on a Thursday evening for a pizza based off Yelp reviews. It's a typical small-town type of pizza joint, with a no-frills interior and a straightforward menu. Had pepperoni pizza as well as ham and pineapple. Both were good, but not amazing, although credit must be given for the dough, as it's a bit more substantial than the typical bland, hard crust at most places of this caliber. Can't say enough good things about the service; we were waited on by a mustachioed man sporting a rakish hat, and he was incredibly friendly and pleasant.

Great small town pizzeria. You can smell it from down the street! We got the white pizza due to family members not tolerating tomato sauce well. It was good, but not as good as the loaded breadsticks or the wings. If we weren't just passing thru on a Road trip I would love to try a different pizza, I'm sure it would be excellent.

First time visit to Somerset Pa and looked for a good meal, followed the lead of Yelp and found Franks Old Fashion pizzeria. Ordered cheesy bread , wings and a special pizza. Cheesy bread great tasting and full of cheese. Pizza great and wings good and a nice price. I look for good wings and these are spot on!! N

Spent the night in Somerset as we were on our way to DC and stumbled upon Frank's to get pizza. We bought a stromboli to share and ended up with some extra pizza from the nice couple next to us as well. This place is amazing. The dough is fresh, the cheese is perfectly oozy and the people are amazing. We loved talking to the chef after our meal, who knew our order and really gave us an understanding of their local business and her Italian roots. On our way back home, we wanted to stop by again but they were closed when we got there. So good. I mean, SO GOOD. I have to stop writing this review because I'm getting to hungry and I live too far away. Eat here.

I can't write enough how much I love Frank's Old Fashion Pizzeria. The establishment is run by the most courteous people in Somerset County---very welcoming and helpful, and you can tell they take great pride in their restaurant as well as the clientele that visit. The food is off the scale as the best pizza you can find. The sandwiches are all above par, and the pizza is always cooked to perfection. Seeing the type of finished products that come out of Frank's tells me that they have a great passion for food for using all the best and freshest ingredients possible. This establishment completely gets my seal of approval, and I always look forward to a great meal at Frank's.

Best pizza in town eh.... After checking reviews on yelp for places to dine for dinner in small Somerset, I was wooed by the "best pie in town" talk. Walked in and was immediately helped. I noticed their size chart had way bigger portions than I am used to. Their medium was easily a large anywhere else I have had pizza so settled on that. Went with the medium all meet pizza and waited for it to be made. It did not take very long for them to make it and it was piping hot when done. Not sure about the best pizza in town claim. It was not a bad pizza at all. I am big on the sauce however and theirs barely had any at all. The toppings did not pack a ton of flavor either. The best part of it was the cheese. Did the job but did not highly impress. Right on par with Momma Jo's Pizza I had earlier that day.

Yummy! We stopped in for a quick bite for the 2nd time recently. Food was delicious! We ordered spaghetti & sandwiches. The staff really works together to make sure that you are taken care of. Make sure that you save room for a cannoli.

Frank's pizzaria has been in Somerset for many years and has some of the best pizza in town! It's the only pizza shop in town that is like an old mom&pop's shop that you would find in the city. Their pizza would be considered to be New York style with thin crust, tangy sauce,and great flavor. Their best deal, and my personal favorite, is the family special, which is a huge 18 inch pizza, bread sticks, and a 2 liter bottle of pop. Great pizza! Yhey also deliver.

Franks has changed owners I'm thinking more than once in recent years. I worked for them when I was first out of high school. Never seen anything "bad". They have hands down one of the best pizza's in Somerset. Hand tossed and if you are hungry order one of their sandwiches they are made with the same dough that the pizza is made from very good! I have never had a bad Pizza from them and have been eating their with every owner. Best pizza in Somerset.

It's fairly common local knowledge that Frank's Pizza is a front for some other more lucrative but clandestine business, but nonetheless, Frank's makes the best pie in town and was my first exposure to the jumbo slice. (Large pizza slices require two paper plates to accommodate their massive size.) Most people get takeout from Frank's, but there is a small seating area in the pizza shop if you don't want to grab and go.
