My first time setting foot inside an Eat'n Park. This location is directly off the turnpike and sports a big elephant in the parking lot. The interior is clean and you immediately smell the baked goods as you enter. The menu has all your typical items and they offer a salad bar with 3 varieties of soup. The potato soup was a hit with my mom and the chicken noodle was a hit with my nephew, wife, and 3 year old. The chicken noodle has penn-dutch style noodles. I went very ordinary with a chicken wrap, which was decent but surprisingly served with no sides. Our server was very friendly and pleasant and addressed the fellas at the table as "hun" and "hunny", nice little touch. In the pantheon of Denny's, IHOP, and Bob Evans, I'd put Eat'n Park near the top of that list based on service alone.

We stopped in for breakfast on a drive west. I will admit I have an unhealthy (and possibly unreasonable) love for Eat N Park. This one is no different. The wait staff was friendly and personable. Our breakfasts were hot an came out quickly. I had french toast and my mother had the veggie stack and both were great! We always stop at Eat N Park when we want a good non fast food and better than fast food prices. We'll be back.

This was actually halfway decent, I was able to eat a clean meal without a premium price, all the calorie counts are listed and enough selection you can either eat crap or clean. Got the chicken bruschetta, salad that came with it was junk but the rest of the dish was pretty decent. Gave me a 10% discount off with my room key. Not bad.

A great place to get some smiley face cookies off the turnpike. I parked in the take out spot and was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

For a good sit-down environment, Eat'n Park is a great, sociable place to go. I have never seen this place empty, and the environment is always warm and welcoming. The salad bar is immense, and I could easily fill up on salad, but the menu choices are also good and sizable. The food is decent, and the service is way beyond exceptional. The wait staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are very easy to fit into your budget. For American dishes, Eat'n Park is a great place to find it. I can't wait to return.

The elephant, it's the only thing that matters. Look, they decorate it for the fall. This place needs National Registry!

I love eat n park in general! This is a nice location. Never had any major issues here. Sometimes service is slow but hey that happens. Food is always hot and fresh.

The salad bar is not bad, but anything off the menu is greasy and tasteless, and DON'T get the breakfast buffet -- it's horrible.

Food was great as usual, service was awful today. Our waitress didn't check on us once until our food came. She also forgot a ton of food. Not the typical Eat N Park visit I expect.

Once again a delivery has taken me to another great find. I stopped in here for breakfast and was pleased with their variety of choices. You can order from the menu or you can select the breakfast buffet. I wanted to try different things so I went with the buffet. The food was good and a little better than what you expect from a buffet. The wait staff was friendly and always made sure I had what I needed. There is also a bakery inside where you can choose pies and other treats to take home. If you have kids, there is a giant elephant out front that you can take pictures with.

Following a trip out near Pittsburgh, this is where we decided to stop to eat on the way back. The place was packed with what seemed like the entire town. The food took forever to come out, despite not really being anything more than omelets and what not. The food is no better than Denny's or any other weak breakfast chain. The food wasn't "bad," but not good either. For a cheap meal and one where you aren't looking for too much, this is your place.

Ah! Eat n Park! A standby favorite of locals that has made it's name in diner style cuisine, with a family friendly dine in environment. Established as a part of a regional chain of such similar box stores, they have prevailed to woo and repel their clientele with spotty spectacular service, and stellar diner style cuisine. Based on this evening's performance, I rate at four stars because our server - female, was very courteous, and quite engaging in both demeanor and service. The cuisine was better than usual with the exception to some items I could tell were sub-par, but I chalk that to my professional skills in the culinary world. I have learned to raise my standards as such, and critique usually with the finest comb. I rate as decent for the area and style of cuisine offered.

Fresh, clean salad bar. Clean dining room and bathrooms. I was surprised to find many vegetarian and gluten-free menu options! Service was very slow, but I'm a city gal who expects prompt service.

Eat'n Park is IT for Somerset, PA. This is the place where you hung out in high school, the place you met your friends during winter/summer breaks from college, and the place where, when you finally grew up and got a job, you took your grandparents for the 4pm early bird senior dinner special. This is not to say that Eat'n Park has delicious food. The chow here is comparable to Denny's. But the restaurant is as comfortable as your living room, the waitresses are the younger sisters of your high school buddies, and the ladies who make the pies and cookies have been working there since you were in diapers. If you're from Somerset or its environs, Eat'n Park was a part of your coming-of-age. Schmaltz aside, it's hard to rate a place like this. I'm making a desperate attempt at objectivity and giving three stars for reliable diner-type food, good prices, and great, friendly service.

Solid awesome food for the entire family. Kids loved the Super Burgers n milk shakes. Dad had an amazing Pittsburgh Turkey melt with coleslaw and fries on it. Soooooo good! Mom had the extensive salad bar with choice of 3 different house made soups. All this for $40. Our server was super fast, accommodating and over the top sweet. She even gave the kids iced 4" sugar cookies with a smiley face in icing on it. The kids , Mom and Dad left with smiles on our faces. Not an easy task some days :)

Positively nasty food. There are plenty of decent places to eat in Somerset. This is just NOT one of them. By all means go to the diner, Crazy Alice or Rey's Azteca instead. In fact, just pick any of the places on the top 20 in the area other than this one. The only reason that Eat'n n Park could possibly have gotten enough good ratings to make the top 10 would be people who work there, own it, or are friends/family of those who do. Sorry owners of EnP - but your food is NOT good. And not even close to on par with any of the decent places in the area.

I go there every once in a while for lunch. I'm always impressed! The salad bar is amazing. It's fresh and fully stocked. The ranch dressing is delicious. Every day is a different soup; however, they always have homemade chicken soup and chili available. Late nights, they have a breakfast bar which is amazing in itself. It's hard to pass up after a night of drinking. The staff are always nice and helpful. I've never had a bad experience there. If you ever do, letting someone know has its rewards. Don't forget about the smiley cookie. Local favorite and always delish. They also have pies (each pie is featured every month) and grilled stickies.

If you spend any time at all in Somerset, chances are that you have been or will go to Eat n Park at some time. I grew up in this town, and as a kid, spent a great deal of time at this place. Great food, moderatly priced, and family friendly, tuis is a place enjoyed by young and old alike. Great breakfast bar and salad bar, and the food is pretty exceptional.

Good breakfast bar. I love the corn fritters. The food can be hit or miss depending on how long the bar has been open. The waitress took some time getting to our table, but once she came she was very attentive taking our empty plates away. It is a nice spot to have breakfast on the way out to Indiana.

Was looking for a place to sit down to eat.. And Yelp has it rated as 4.. So I took a look at the menu and was wowed!! This place is a mixture of IHOP, Ponderosa, with some local diner mixed in for good luck. We went for breakfast and got the breakfast buffet which allowed my son to have it too. Had to order turkey sausage on the side but all the food was good, hot, and tasty!! The regular menu had lots if variety and they even bake fresh everyday. I know now not to pass by if I'm hungry! The server was very helpful as were others during my visit. Next will be to try a dinner or late night service!

I've never ate at an Eat'n Park, so off of first time experience, I'll never come back. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak, which annoyingly, doesn't come with fries, peppers, OR mushrooms. Okay, fine.. They charge a lot for that on it's own, so it must be a big sub. BOY, WAS I WRONG... it was the tiniest cheese steak I've ever consumed. Let alone the Home Fries I had to order on the side, which was also, on the tiniest plate they had. Oh, I also give the taste of the food .5/5 rating. So screw desert, cause I'm not getting a small piece of cake. We go to the counter to pay, and I see a cookie... I order the 89 cent cookie, ate it in the car.. Worst cookie I've ever had in my life. Thanks, Eat'n Park for your unsatisfying experience. Glad I wasn't the one who paid.
