The beef they use for their hamburgers had a really funky flavor - not good. I took one bite and couldn't eat it. The server was nice and took it off the bill. I think they must buy their hamburgers pre-formed and frozen. And it tastes like it's a cheap quality of meat. The fake grill marks on the hamburger didn't do the burger any favors either. Of the three people that I was eating with, two others got hamburgers. They didn't like them either, but ate them anyway. Our service was good. The floor was dirty. It could be a great restaurant if they cleaned the floors daily, and served fresh, better-quality beef for their burgers.

Breakfast is and has always been served all day, just ask your server for a breakfast menu.

Best lunch spot in downtown Sharon. Grab a bowl of chili or any one of their yummy sandwiches. Oh and don't forget an old fashioned milkshake! They have some of the most unique flavors and are to die for!

Service was slow and my entire party had something wrong with their order. However, the server kindly reduced our bill generously. The burgers were decent and the shakes good. The restaurant could use a good cleaning (the freezer was caked in built up ice, etc), but I have had worse food and worse service.

Stopped here for lunch on a day trip to Hermitage/Sharon. Food was very good and served in a great atmosphere. Burgers were obviously hand made of real ground beef and grilled up nicely. Waitresses are what you would expect in a hometown diner - mature, efficient, but not overly friendly. They certainly weren't your typical lackluster teenager found in a fast food joint! A nice change from the typical fast food joint - but a bit pricier. Would stop in again.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and I wasn't disappointed. The service was good and the platter I selected came out just the way I ordered it. If you in the area and need a spot to sit down, this is a decent one.

I gave this place a chance. And they were rude. All they did was talk and talk and talk and carry on about drama all the time! Blabbing about he said she said stuff and complaining about co workers behind their back was wayyyyy too much and made me and my guests feel way too uncomfortable...not to mention the burgers are slapped together and they fall apart. Over charging on appetizers they say appetizers : ex: onion rings 399 and there's five in a basket. Seriously? Unfair Not to mention it need a major cleaning...not just the establishment but also with the workers.

Love this place! Super friendly staff and great diner food!!! Had a delicious burger actually cooked the way I asked. Milkshakes are heavenly. Everything came out hot and with a smile. Great retro atmosphere and menu. Even the music was 50s! Super fun and yummy.

Stick with me here, its a bit gray. Executive Summary - go for the food and leave complaining about the service 50% of the time. In depth, ok seat belts are on. Food is great, I love their chili and Charlie Browns. The shakes are really good and the burgers are cooked just right - medium rare...anything else is just silly. On the service side. ITS HORRIBLE! "you's Yinzers" not only need to improve your people skills but also your table service. Also, we don't come to hear your loud obnoxious waitress discuss their personal issues in detail. This has happened twice. Also the service has been slow many times and the bathrooms are sometimes dirty. With that written there have been a couple of times we have gotten really good service but that was over a year ago. Since then the waitress are different, we normal go to Donna's about every other month. So why do we go back repeatedly? Are we insane - doing the same thing, expecting a different result? Yeah well... The food is good enough to put up with the bolonie and slow service, I like 50's atmosphere setup, it reminds me of dad taking us out as kids, our kids like the place as well, and I hope management fixes the issues soon. If they need to increase prices to get better staff, sign me up. One thing to add, walk around Donna ' s if you haven't been their before. Nice memorials to our veterans. Also the river has some nice scenic views. I wish they had a park for kids on the river. Score Food Quality 4 Service 2 Atmosphere 4 Value ( food 4, table service past 6 months 2) 3 Recommend ( in the past 5) 3 Tier 2

Wonderful food. However, TERRIBLE service. Lets start there.. First off, our waitress was so confident in herself that she thought she could get by taking our order without writing anything down. Ended up never getting our appetizer. Second, there was a couple sitting in the booth right next to ours that knew our waitress. SO, our waitress decided to kneel down at their table and continue to converse with this couple she knew and kept showing them picture after picture of her new baby. This went on for a good 20 minutes. Meanwhile, I was waiting the entire time for more water to drink. I had to ask her sister (who was also working that day) to get my drink. Left there without giving a tip righteously so because of the awful service. The food (on the other hand) is FANTASTIC. Anything you order here is guaranteed to satisfy.

Food is decent. The burgers they are pretty good. The main problem is how dirty the restaurant is. And the slow service.

Delicious burgers, hand dipped milk shakes! Homemade pot pies and the best Reuben in town.

  • Debra W.

Awesome Steak Salad- it was a real salad with real steak! The atmosphere was neat but it was FREEZING inside while we ate. It was summer time and we were told the kitchen gets hot so they keep it cold. HMM? I think it is more important to keep customer comfortable. Just a thought. Also very noise due to the Milkshakes being made.

Good lunch, veggie burger for me and nice river walk after.
