So disappointed! When we walked it I was quite hopeful, it has that small town divey feel to it. However, that's where the quality ended. We got the chicken bites, sauce was decent (garlic parmesan) but the chicken was over cooked and tough. We then ordered pizza with tomato, onion, garlic and cheese. Very bland! Onions were still mostly raw, sauce had no flavor.

I order from here about once a month for purposes of convenience. The atmosphere is extremely casual: essential pizza parlor decor. However, my boyfriend and I do not like the pizza. It is very greasy and tastes like only American cheese was used. We only ordered the white pizza, but won't try any other kind because there are fabulous pizza joints all around Scranton and Dunmore. Their buffalo chicken bites are delicious. It's clear they are made fresh. Their hoagies and fries are standard fare. And their prices are typical. Definitely recommended, but just for safe choices on the menu.

Not impressed at all. Wings, their signature item claimed by the server, were dry and hard. Pizza had no flavor to it. Will not go back.

Back when I was in high school I used to hear people talk about Nina's regularly. I felt like I had to like Nina's in order to fit in, so I tried a lot of different items from the menu. It's not good. I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now. Aside from the location and the wing bites, it's overrated. I mean, I've read Facebook posts where college freshman complain about Nina's withdrawal. What are they talking about? I suppose it's like a piece of fine art. Granted, a Warhol or something of that nature. Just very hard to appreciate.

Stopped in for a carryout order. The shop is small but the sandwich I got was huge. I ordered the large chicken parm hoagie, and it was definitely one of the better ones I have had in many years. Chicken cutlet breading was crisp, hoagie roll was toasted, sauce was outstanding. Lots of provolone. My one mistake was miscalculating how large the sandwich would be. Its definielty on the large side, and if you are a normal sized person, you can probably make two or three meals out if it. Not a bad deal at all for $10.07. Size aside, this is one of the better tasting chicken parm hoagies Ive had in the area.

AMA-ZA-ZING! Their cheese n gravy fries, their chicken bites, their sandwiches, their wings. I mean, wow! The service is great n their prices are great. I could easily gain like 50 pounds if i didn't have any self control. Love this place.

Can't believe I didn't try this place sooner... I tried the square pizza and wing bites (hot). Pizza was very good and the bites are one of the best I have ever tasted. The hot sauce had a kick, but also a unique sweet/hot taste. They were extremely good! As far as price, what can I say....wings are going up everywhere so I can't knock them too much. I paid $7.25 for I believe a pound?...I feel that's pretty competitive. As far as the location in Dunmore, it's very cute. Definitely not a place I would try to dine it at considering there are only 4 tables, tons of people standing for their orders and a counter piled with take out orders. The only minor things that turned me off was the rule about ordering pizza in advance...... I was at work and wanted to call in my order to be ready for 5pm. They told me I can't called until 4pm. I asked if the wait at 4pm would be over and hour and they weren't sure....I almost walked away from that point on because I thought it was ridiculous. Glad I didn't .....

Nina's is good, no denying it. Tasty pizza, quaint little location, all good things. Best pizza in the Scranton city limits?? Maybe. Some days it does taste that way. Try it!

Nina's is a small family owned and operated corner pizza shop catering to locals. The dining area consist of 8 tables and 13 stools, large flat screen TV with Comcast Sports and does offer BYOB, but you may want to bring your own wine glasses if your a "winer". Street parking only. They serve red and white pizza including specialty pies. (Italian Style****, Hot Wing, Double Crust and Chicken Parm) Several variety of Hoagies including Italian, Steak, Chicken Steak, Cheese, Porketta, Veggie, Hot and Sweet Sausage, Homemade Meatballs, Hot Wings, Club, Cheese Burger and BLT on 14in Rolls. Open face sandwiches and fries. (Volcano fries - Cheese and Hot Wing Sauce) Salads with homemade dressings (Balsamic, Caesar**** and Blue Cheese) Wings and Wing Bites seem to be the local favorite. Other tidbits. Homemade Mozzarella Sticks, Soups, Free Refills, Every thing is made fresh and may take some time to prepare. Our salads were fresh and huge with delicious homemade dressings. The Italian Styled Pizza was piping hot loaded with fresh garlic. The dough was fresh. the crust was thick and was a real palette pleaser. The service couldn't be beat and the price was pretty pretty good. Great choice. Happy Trailz

Small pizzeria in suburbs of Scranton. In my opinion, the best Scranton has to offer. Their sandwiches are top notch. Their chicken parm is the best I've had in my life. And the portions are huge! They have amazing fries in which I get cheese and gravy which is outstanding. Their pizza slices are small and square. It's not the traditional pizza pie yet at the same time, it's thinner than sicilian pizza. The cheese is really stringy and the sauce is really good. The crust is extremely soft and cooked to perfection. I have not had the wings yet but apparently there is no other place in the area that can compete with their wings. It's a friendly little place and I highly recommend it. It may not look like much on the outside but if you want quality food for a very reasonable price, give nina's a try.

The breaded hot wing hoagie is fantastic at Nina's. If you order the large (it might be called "regular" size), be prepared. I don't know what the actual size of it is, but it's basically two small hoagies cut in half. If you're hungry enough to finish it, you won't have to eat for the rest of the day. It is delicious. AND they give you a bag of chips with the hoagie. I've also had the pizza and boneless wings here, and both are also very good. Eating in can be a little dicey because there aren't many tables, but there is a bar. Worth any wait.

Great little place. Wings are definitely in the running for best in the area. Not drowned in their delicious sauce but def enough that you'll have to lick your fingers off.
