Good food. Wings and boneless wings are good. The secret sauce is a winner. Good quality hoagies without the mystery meats that you get at some pizza joints. It's real turkey. Pizza is slightly above average. They are still new, so I will give it 4 stars for now. If they were established it would probably be 3.

I actually created this account specifically to review this restaurant. My first experience at Matarazzo's was sub-par at best. I ordered boneless wings and an order of fries. Let me start by commenting on the service: longest time I've ever had to wait for wings and fries. I was told 30 minute wait, went and still had to wait ten minutes for VERY DRY wing bites (completely overcooked and inedible) along with the soggiest fries I've ever had. They wrap their takeout containers in plastic wrap, retaining all of the steam coming off of the food, so you are left with soggy food when you get to your destination. The second time (yes, I gave it a second try) I ordered a chili cheese dawg and volcano fries. This time, I was greeted with the same utterly slow service (40 minute wait for hot dogs and fries???) and was displeased to get back to see the fries had been completely engulfed in a mess of cheese and sauce. (I understand volcano fries are messy with cheese and sauce on them, but these were literally thrown in a container and squished in with the ingredients, leaving them virtually inedible) .The dog was decent but again looked like it was rushed (even though it took forty minutes) and all of the ingredients were sloppily applied, leaving me large bites of mustard, chili, etc with no hot dog or vice versa. Very displeased with this establishment and will not be going back. I hope this review deters future customers from ruining their lunch break and wasting their money.

Decent little place in the forgotten section of Minooka. Only four tables for eating in but I've never had to wait to sit. The service can be slow however. It often takes a while for food to come out regardless of how many other patrons are there. The (round) pizza is decent, but a little on the greasy side. I would recommend the hot wing hoagie. They also have some tasty waffle fries. Reasonable prices.
