Best little pizza shop I have ever eaten at. I have been out of the area for many years and has happy to see they were still here. I was even more delighted that the food is still just as good as I remembered.

This place has really gone down hill. Used to be they were so nice and I would never have a bad meal here. Now they are rude and you get sub-par food. Eggplant fries are super greasy. Sicilian Pizza is very chewy and you don't get extra cheese when you ask. Also, don't get delivery if you want to eat within the next 75 mins! Better to just drive the 5 mins yourself. You'll be able to eat MUCH sooner

Ordered straight off the menu, a large special cheesesteak, NOT a hoagie, what we received was basically a cheesesteak hoagie, husband cannot eat lettuce. I ordered a small steak hoagie NO onions, well I got onions on it UGH I hate onions. Basically we spent $20 for nothing. THANKS Mama's. Also the girl on the phone wanted to argue with me. REALLY???

When I moved into this area, people recomended this place as the go to spot for pizza in this area. I tried and was extremely dissapointed. I ordered two large pies and when i got home, the cheese was all over the place and when you pulled the slices apart, the crust was so thin that the slice fell apart. We ended up eating the crust of each slice with forks to scoop up the cheese from the box. I do like to give places second chances however. I thought maybe it was a rookie pizza person making them or just a bad dough day. I worked in pizza shops in my early twenties so i understand its not always perfect. I tried 2 more times actually and both times were just about exactly the same as the first. I will never buy pizza from here again. It doesnt look like the pizza maker puts pride into the pizza he or she makes. I found a pizza place about ten minutes from here called Franks that is way better. All of the pies I bought fell apart and could not be eaten with your hands the way a slice of pizza shoukd be eaten. Im nit sure why this place was recomended to ne or why people waste their money here when there is much better quality pies down the road.

This is one of my favorite pizza places in Berks county, it really has that small mom and pop restaurant flavor you can't get from chains. It is much better to get it fresh and eat in because sometimes when you do delivery it can arrive a bit cold. Their stuffed pizzas are AMAZING!!!!!! I suggest either the buffalo chicken or meat lovers, both are huge and one slice is more than enough for a meal. The garlic knots are tasty too, this is a nice whole in the wall type place.

Pizza is ok. Definitely order pick up, they are the only pizza joint I have ever seen take over an hour to deliver a pizza. God forbid the weather isn't ideal or it takes two hours.

Food is alright. The meatball sandwich could be better if the sauce tasted better. If I had to spend my last dollar on food I wouldn't order it from here.

I have ordered twice from mamas pizza since it is close by and have been disappointed both times. First time I got a slice of pizza, it was soggy & cold. The Cheese Tasted weird & The sauce tasted Like It came straight out Of a can. I just moved here from NY and I am missing NY pizza! I decided to give them a second chance with a meatball sub (I tried ordering a hero but I was told they dont make that! Duh, same thing!) Soggy bread, doused with sauce from a can ( I did order the sauce on the side, but who's listening? )meatballs were soft and tasted like all filler! And I called ahead so I wouldn't have to wait, they told me 15 minutes so I gave them 25 snd I still had to wait 10 more minutes! ! Seriously? ??! So long mama, I'm done!

I was dragged here kicking and screaming ordered a slice of vegetable pizza nothing to drink I was shocked to find out a cost $4.75 for a single slice of pizza and just to rub salt in the world it was served ice cold. This place is and has always been a crap hole

Zero stars...WHATTA-A RIP- OFF, for their 1st Monday pizza call it in promo. Almost 2 hrs. later my pizza was done. I called it in at 5:04 pm. I was told it was beat the clock night and you pay when you pick -up. They said my pizza would be ready at 6 :20 PM. At 6 :25 pm..they said my pizza was not ready and I couldn't pay for it until it was ready. I saw many finished pizzas sitting on top of the pizza oven, waiting to be picked up. Other people were also waiting for their finished pizza(s). Now when my pizza was finally "finished",so I could now be rung up, it was rung up at the current time of 6:34 PM,which equals $ 6.34. I never expected this pizza to take this long, and only had $5.90 in cash and did not bring anything extra. The girls refused to release my pizza to me,after I asked if they could spot me the difference. They downright refused and because I am an honest person,I would have came back within a day to pay the .44 cent deficit. They not only lost a customer, they now have been exposed of this un-ethical pizza promotion. Yes, I have eaten there at least every few months for the past 15 years. That night, very hungry, after waiting for the pizza, that I did not receive,I went to KFC for the $5.00 box. The clerk saw " hunger" in my eyes and even gave me an extra piece of chicken. I am very grateful and hope one day KFC starts selling pizza.!!!!! This review was delayed for a few weeks as I thought I would change my mind or the tone of this review. Nothing changed. I still feel the same as I did on that night.

Yummy food.... Food takes long because they are a busy place... Pizza sandwiches and eggplant fries are delicious. More of a take out place than dine in.

This place is fine, nothing special but the food is ok. I did note that it smelled kind of funny by the soda fountain, like they used a smelly rag to wipe the counter there. For some reason, it's also very under the radar since a lot of people in the area have never even heard of it. I still prefer Santino's over Mama's Pizza.

Food is ok, people who answer the phone need to be more professional. When you answer the phone "hello" it makes me think I have called the wrong number. Don't be rude, at least say "hello, Mama's pizza".

I ordered a large cheese pizza, large garden salad and a small garden salad with no cheese. When I arrived the pizza was ready but salads were not. I waited about 5 minutes and then they started to make the salads while the pizza sat getting cold. Both salads had cheese so when I mentioned the mistake the girl had an attitude but went over to tell the guy making the salads to fix it. His way of fixing it was to dig the pieces of cheese out with his hand right in front of me. I nicely asked for my money back and said I would pass on the salad at this point. The response was how dare I be offended that a dirty hand was in my salad. The pizza was cold by the time I got it home (go figure). Had it not been it might have been decent pizza. I do however seriously question the cleanliness of this business and the service from the employees was pretty bad. Next time I'm in town, I'll find somewhere else to grab a pizza and/or salad.
