Great pizza slices, which I like better than a whole pie. I don't know why, but they always taste better & I feel are cheaper as the slices are quite large. I've had cheese & pepperoni only... prefer the latter, but the sauce & mixed cheeses are so tasty, we don't feel we're sacrificing taste if the pizza is plain cheese. Pretty decent craft beer take-out fridge. My only fuss is if I find a great IPA, they never have it when I visit 1-wk later, so if you find something you like, go back right away & get another 6-pk. They said this is the norm. They also have their own brand bottled soda. When wanting a quick slice or 2 & an IPA to take home, they're the best I've had in the Pottstown area. And, Thurs-Sat, they have giant slices for about $1 more. Believe me, 1 slice is big enough for one person! Great pizza & very nice staff of young women working the counter!

Their pizza and fries are ok good, but I decided to try one of their Italian grinders. First of all I literally had 4 pieces of meat on each side and two pieces of cheese and it's not that great quality of meats. They also need to understand how to properly package a grinder because when I opened it up it was all stuck to the package and I had to pick it off the little bit of cheese piece by piece. This grinder is all bread and a ton of peppers but little of anything else. Especially they charge over $8.00 for it. They were so slow that they everyone was standing around on their phones but it took 25 minutes to make 2 hoagies and fries??? It doesn't take that long. Very disappointed, I will definitely think of going elsewhere in the future.

My wife and I moved to Pottstown in November. Coming from the Jersey Shore I was concerned I wouldn't be able to find a good Italian place to call home. That fear was quickly abated by this place! Awesome food and beer selection! I love the fried ravioli and the chic parm sandy! The bread is freaking ridiculous! If you're looking for a place that's affordable with great taste, you've come to the right place. My family will be going here for many years to come! Very thankful.

Great takeout craft beer. I love the buffalo chicken pizza. This last time my small pizza looked like it got tilted and some of the toppings slipped off, but they are usually much better than that. Use them for delivery all the time. pottstownprovisions.com/…

I eat lunch here during the week all the time. It is perhaps the best Italian food restaurant in Pottstown. Great service, friendly staff. They are a little slow, especially if they're busy, however, its always worth the wait. The specialty sandwiches are amazing. Its a little pricey, but the portions are large and delicious. Nice atmosphere in the tiny building. They also have a good beer selection, lots of local brews....

I've never had a bad experience here at Tornetta's. Everything, and I mean everything, has been fantastic. We've tried pizza, stromboli, sandwiches, and everything in between. Their bacon&cheese fries are out of this world. Dining area is a little cramped if you're eating in, the waitresses are always attentive and attractive. Did I mention attractive?

We got takeout from here the other night, and it was very, very good and relatively inexpensive (our order total was just over $23 for a pizza and 2 subs). We ordered a small plain pizza for our 2 year old son - good, chewy crust, flavorful sauce and plenty of cheese. He seemed to like it - he ate two slices. My husband had an Italian grinder with provolone which he enjoyed greatly except for the raw onions. He's usually not a fan of raw onions, so he'd probably order it without them the next time. I had a cheesesteak with sweet peppers and fried onions. It was FANTASTIC and a good value. For a little over $6, I ordered the whole cheesesteak and had it for 2 meals (it reheated nicely in the microwave the next day). There was plenty of meat on the fresh bun, and a good amount of peppers and onions. I'd definitely order it again. We'll definitely be back.

I eat lunch here at least once a week-when I don't pack, it's my go to. I usually get a pick up. It's always quick and on-time and the waitress in the front is always super friendly and nice. I am obsessed with their chicken Caesar salad-in fact I won' t eat one anywhere else now, because this place ruined it for me. It's that good that no place else measures up. I had no idea chicken Caesar salad can be this good! Today I decided to venture out and try something new-ranch chicken sandwich. That's what prompted me to write this review-no joke this meal is one of the top 10 best in my life! I eat out at fancy restaurants all the time, so this shocks me-because it's a pizza place. How can they make something sooooo good? It's seriously THAT good! This place also has a nice selection of craft beers and looks really cozy inside. I never sit down to eat or drink beer since it's lunch, but I can imagine that it would be an awesome dinner place. Highly Highly recommend this place.

I loved this place for takeout until my last order when the staff was having a little too much fun on a Sunday night laughing and making banging noises that I had to repeat part of my order going on 3 times because the girl taking the order could not hear me. I asked for the manager, explained and his response was "Oh". Party On Tornettas

This is our go-to pizza joint in Pottstown. The pies are always tasty and well-cooked. Certainly one of the best pizzas in Pottstown. Their cheesesteaks are also large, robust sandwiches that my wife and I enjoy very much. Overall, very happy with Tornettas. Give them a try.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
