Needed a fast bite to eat as I had to hit the hay early and catch a 6 am flight to Chicago. This place was near my hotel and I always hear people rave about it so I thought I would give it a shot. You walk in and there's a counter with a variety of fixins, you can get taco's, burritos, chips, guacamole, and a burrito bowl which is like a burrito but the tortilla is on the side. Idea is you pick from a variety of ingredients such as rice, beans, sour cream, meat, chicken, etc., etc. and they roll it up in a big honking burrito for you. I got a burrito with rice, black beans, steak and also some chips and guacamole. Started with the chips and guacamole. Chips weren't stale but they were not fresh either, not crunchy. Guacamole was pretty average. The burrito was fairly tasty, I liked the abundance of rice and beans with just enough meat to give it some character. I didn't particularly like the atmosphere of the place, it was dark and sported a certain euro-minimalism that highlighted the fact that the place was dirty. Tables were greasy, floors were dirty, and drink fountain had spilled crap all over. Chipotle isn't a bad idea but there was something about the place that turned me off. My guess is that it's a typical chain where the people there are just doing their jobs, there's no sense of ownership. If I want to enjoy a big honking burrito, I think I would rather go to a Super Mercado where they know how to make a real burrito, not just assemble one. And where they are happy to have you as a customer.

This is right by the Robinson Town Center shopping mall and only 10 minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport. Chipotle packs a lot of calories in one meal so that made it the perfect 7 hour traveling time pre-flight meal! At noon it was packed with business men on their lunch break and hungry Pittsburgh folks. This isn't what I would call authentic Mexican food but this is still REALLY GOOD. You can get burritos, burrito bowls, hard or soft tacos, and a quesadilla (for vegetarians). The BURRITO BOWL is my favorite thing to get because it's basically everything inside a burrito, without the tortilla! Cilantro lime rice, spicy marinated steak, black beans, cheese, lettuce, mild tomato salsa, sour cream, and guacamole (extra cost) is my suggestion! Sometimes you're just in the mood for a good fatty burrito. Got Guac all over my face every time I tired to take a bite, but that's just how large the burrito was :)

The food was amazing as usual! I got the Chicken Bowl, the store was really busy tonight so there were a few mix ups, like they forgot the chicken! But at least I ate there so it was corrected. The store was clean and staff was polite!

My love for Chipotle can sometimes be confused with infatuation or lust. Maybe. I've always lived in a city where there was a Chipotle nearby and some wonder if I pick a specific location because of that. Again, maybe. Every time I'm at this location, I just miss the rush. I turn around in line and see a swarm of people starting to gather. I truly think someone's watching out for me or maybe I just eat during nontraditional hours. I'll be honest, I won't branch out and try something new. I always get a bag of chips with a steak burrito bowl with a tortilla on the side OR a steak burrito . I also get extra rice, a little bit of corn, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce. (Was it just me or did you envision going down the line?) And of course, I use (several) splashes of the Milder Jalapeño Tabasco sauce. The service is quick and the food is always a delight. I've never been disappointed.

Stopped by after picking up a friend at the airport who had not eaten in hours, no dinner due to long flight, and it was late. We were eating our hand-crafted, cylinder of Mexican wonderfulness in a few minutes. Chipotle is good tasting Mexican fast food, with natural and organic ingredients. The Flour tortilla with cilantro lime rice, pinto bean and carnitas was very good.

Ordering online at this location is terrible, over 4 orders that have been wrong and all $20- $50 order they are getting wrong too. I called today and the lady (megan) did not even put me on hold started yelling to manager "these people are complaining about their order" Nasty restaurant inside never clean.

Consistently good, fresh tasting food. Would give it a 5 star if they had the carnitas. Chicken is ok but horribly disappointed in the steak bowl tonite. It was awful. Mean was horribly tough, unable to chew! Couldn't believe it! Guacamole delicious. Always get the bowl, corn salsa so good.

I come here often...way too often...since I work out in Robinson and it's the only Chipotle in the area. (Major excuse - I am here way too often because I'm addicted). No matter when I try to come in whether it's 11, 12, 1 or 2..it's ALWAYS packed. The lines are always wrapped around and almost out the door. The usual wait for me is a good 15-20 minutes in line during peak lunch hours - it is annoying, but you know what I ain't mad about it I still enjoy my meal at the end of the day. This particular location is a real hit or miss in all senses. I've come in and despite the line, have had fantastic service. The assemblers up front are nice and really accommodating when you ask for a little extra love in your bowl or burrito. Generally all most Chipotle's give you a pretty good portion regardless. I'm in and out in the line and it's a breeze to grab my stuff and go or dine in. Other times I've been in it's been a real struggle bus where my mild is way too watery and it just sops up at the bottom of my bowl...or even worse! LEAKS! Sometimes they have ' too many cooks in the kitchen' in the assembly line and causes a back up instead of speed. I've read reviews where trash isn't taken out or they run out of stuff at the drink/utensil bar - true. Fact of the matter is, all franchises are not created equal and management is different everywhere. They have their good and bad days so this one still gets a three. I've had more good experiences here than I have had bad. And you know what...it's not going to stop me from coming back.

My family and I used to go here at least 2 time per week. Not sure what has happened, but this place has gone down hill. Everything in this place is filthy. The trash cans are always over flowing, the tables are cake with old food, floor looks like a college party just came through, and the bathrooms....yuck! And this is what you can see. Just imagine what the back of the house looks like. Needless to say, we will not be back

I hate writing this review because the first few months I went there the service was great! Needless to say the more I went the shittier the meals were prepared. My last 4 meals were lacking. I always asked for two extra tortillas which they did until last 4 meals. It started with them giving me two small tortillas then on 2nd and 3rd no tortillas whatsoever. My 4th and last meal I got my tortillas but completely fucked up my burrito bowl like they didn't give a shit. Don't know what happen. Wont be going there anymore.

I often compare it to qdoba. There are only a few shortcomings for Chipotle that you must note... NO QUESO which is a huge number, and also they have no shrimp/fish options. The burrito bowl was absolutely delicious I must say, I got half steak and half balbacoa. The balbacoa was delicious. I get less rice more beans which provides a good amount of protein. Price is reasonable and food is good.

Just like every other Chipotle. Quality ingredients, pretty fast service. Convenient to the mall, airport and many businesses. Thumbs up as always.

I have mixed feelings about this location. Conveniently located to the airport, it's a great place to stop on the way or on the way home, but if you go at peak hours, the parking lot is a nightmare, and so is traffic. The staff is generally attentive and efficient, so the lines always move quickly. This is probably the biggest "plus" of this location. The bathrooms definitely leave a lot to be desired. They are never clean, and often smell. It's not that difficult to keep a bathroom clean, so this needs to be improved. Despite the bathroom situation, the staff is always pleasant and the food is always dependable and fresh.

This chipotle is like other chipotles. Set up, assembly line, wait, etc. This particular location is convenient as I can stop by after a flight on my way to the hotel or out of town. It's got the long lines of every chipotle in the country, but I occasionally manage to get in and out without a long wait. I will say the parking lot for this one is tricky at times. There are a ton of other places to eat right there, including Burgatory, which means it can be a beast trying to find a parking spot. Staff is friendly and fast, location is pretty good, and I love Chipotle. Win all the way around.

I love this place but the service at this location is terrible!!!! I cant tell you how much I dread going to this location. The line is out the door and they have three employees working the line. Chatting constantly and restocking. Its crazy to stand there and watch while the manager is in slow motion cooking food instead of jumping in the line to help. They will just walk away from the line to restock or taste the food. Maybe they havent been to another location to see that the fast service sells just as much as the food does. Lastly, we tried to order one item off the app today and the wait time for pick up was 1hour and 1/2 . !! Whoa. It was 238pm. ...really! When we called he said their line is long and thats when it will be done. .... please do something with this location !!! Prime spot to do more business than it does now.

I love this place. The line is always out the door no matter what time of day you go. It has the same menu as the others and price are about the same. The foodis very fresh and I have never had a bad meal from here.

So disappointed with my food today. I ordered chicken soft tacos to go. The chicken was close to being burnt and had a crunch to it with a not so good taste. I had the same thing a few days ago and it was perfectly fine. Whoever cooked the chicken this time should probably work the register!!

Chipotle was just what I needed after a long week and a long drive. This place was busy during lunch and I think it was after 12:30pm. The prices on the menu were the same as other locations (as it should be). I ordered a steak burrito ($6.65) and a small soda ($1.60). I can't say based on my one visit here, but it seems that they stuff the burrito to the max. Good place to grab a burrito considering the places around.

By far one of the best Mexican style restaurants around! The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is fast and the price isn't too bad. Can't beat their homemade chips too.. Ordering online is convenient.. just love it.

I love Chipotle! HOWEVER, this location is horrible. I understand the location is really busy, however, they have too many staff behind the counter. 8 people behind the counter and a cashier that creates confusion. No one cleaning the dining area. This area was pretty disgusting; trash on the floor, tables, chairs, and garbage cans overflowing. This one particular day, I was there earlier, and observed a kid throwing food on the glass. I had to leave before ordering, but returned about 4 hours later, and the food and trash was still on the glass and floor. The sidewalk was pretty nasty with food and spills. That's an easy fix. The bucket of water from mopping could just be dumped out just to rinse off the walkway. I travel all over the county, and have frequented Chipotle 3-4 times a week. They are all busy, but they maintain a balance with the hygiene of the dinning area. This location didn't meet the minimal of my experience of this chain.

Good execution on Chipotle recipes, poor customer service. Seemed like grumpy suburban teens; be prepared for sub-par response. The bathrooms reeked, smelling as though they hadn't been cleaned in days; the floors and many tables were strewn with trash, and the drink bar wasn't stocked, or restocked our entire lengthy stay. Steve Ells, this is not your best example.

Just in case there is anyone sitting on the fence about trying Chipotle, I thought I'd write a review. Chipotle is the best fresh/fast food in the country. I could eat it every day. Crappy fast food sticks with you. Chipotle with fresh ingredients, is wholesome, great tasting food.

Compared to other Chipotles, this one was nowhere near as efficient as The Chipotle standard typically is. Took twice as long as it should have taken. Even though it was the Saturday evening dinner rush, you can't be fast and efficient with only one person handling the whole assembly line of the order process. Definitely ordering online and picking up next time if I go to this Chipotle again.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
