Since it's a half block from my folks, I grew up on Vincent's. I'd stand in front of a bulldozer that threatened Vincent's. This is what Philly pizza is all about. No BBQ or feta cheese and kale. It's just good, classic ingredients, hand tossed, greaasy, deliciousness. They have all things you expect from a local pizza joint, from the cheesesteaks to the hoagies, and all kinds of sides. It's all takeout and delivery (no seating). Every pizza is pure goodness, though the sicilian is a little doughy for me. Keep the pizza box tops for a free pie. They're open on Sunday now, which they never were when I was little.

This was my first time visit to Philadelphia and I knew I wanted to get a real philly cheese steak sandwich there. My friend from Philly recommended Vincent's pizza. He told me not to go after dark because the location might be a little bit scary... But I couldn't wait, so I went there as soon as we arrived in Philly after 9:30pm last Friday. The place was filled with people ordering and waiting... The lady at the counter was very nice and was very proud of her establishment. We ordered Vincent's Special Steak Sandwich with double meat. Well, I was buying it for my 17 years old son... and he CAN eat!!!! It came with mushroom, peppers, and sauted onions. It took about 10 minutes. She gave me a lot of napkins and once we opened the wrapper and had the first bite, I knew why the napkins were necessary. I've never had anything so juicy, and satisfying. It was just SO good... My son had no words except for some noise coming out of him while he devoured the giant sandwich... The price? I think it was about $9. Wow... that was GREAT!

If you live anywhere near West Philly, you HAVE to get food from Vincent's. We are always overwhelmed by how fresh and delicious their pizzas are. They take care of the customer. We once were given the wrong order - they came with the right one in five minutes, no questions asked. We'll ALWAYS go to Vincent's

At the corner of 65th and Lansdowne Ave. in Overbrook sits the key to my childhood. Vincent's Pizza was the only place mom-mom would buy pies for us, and my pop-pop. We always got a plain white pie, large. The crust was thin and blistered black on the bottom from the oven, the blend of cheeses on top adhered perfectly to the crust, redolent of garlic. Mom-mom used to pay the kid next door, B.J., to pick up the pizza for her if she had other things happening in the kitchen. When I got big enough I would go get it, a ten-dollar bill clutched in my fist, following my nose to Vincent's all alone. Reheated in the oven, the white pizza lost none of its savor, and years later, the reheating of my imagination with this lost pie tastes like home.

The best I have had and I always have my eyes open for pizza as good as Vince's Neighborhood is risky but I figure it is worth the risk. People are nice and so are the customers you meet waiting for your pie.

I like this place! I bought a grilled chicken hoagie w/ lettuce, tomato, American cheese and honey mustard. It was awesome! I've ordered it 3 more times! I also like the chicken fingers. The prices are normal. The delivery is fast, even in busy nights.

One of the best pizza spots in the overbrook park / west philly area. The chicken cheesesteaks are very good and all so the buffalo wings. Serves is usually timely and very good

Ok so I'm new to the neighborhood and I chose this place solely based off the reviews. Clearly I didn't realize how old the reviews was smh. I ordered 2 medium cheese pizzas the thin crust taste like cardboard. The texture was completely off and I do love a good thin crust, they missed it by a long shot. The sauce was ehh and it was hardly any cheese on the pizza. Not to mention my pizza was cold when it arrived. Normally I wouldn't mind since I have little children and they don't like really hot food but this pizza seemed as if it was cooked yesterday they reheated it n sold it to me. Awful experience I would never eat here again not even for free rent. Waste of my 23 bucks.

One of the best independent pizza shops in all of Philadelphia. You'll feel Italian after a few slices.

I live two blocks from this place; I laugh at the post that notes that someone was warned about going to Vincent's after dark...another thinly veiled racial comment. You'll be fine here no matter when. So this place is one of the last ties to Overbrook when it was largely Italian-American up until the late 90's. The place makes a killing - it is always busy, and always are the counter staff friendly and fast. They do now take credit cards, and they are now open on Sundays. Word is Vince himself did this to make sure the new Papa John's in Overbrook Park didn't have a leg up - if that's true, Papa John's pizza isn't fit to be near Vincent's pizza. Every tenth pizza is free if you keep the coupons on the pizza box. Big plus, and you will definitely order from them ten times in future if you eat there for the first time. Hoagies and cheesesteaks are excellent here as well. Surprisingly, and I've seen this in person, salads are fresh in that they take an entire head of romaine and cut it to order, for example, if you're ordering Caesar salad. You can't go wrong at this place and they deserve every dime they make! Also, the business is kept spotlessly inside and out - the outside is kept up very well and is a credit to the neighborhood. They also are happy to provide pizzas for community events free of charge to community groups. Thanks Vince!

We ordered pizza and wings from Vincent's on Saturday night. Medium Neopolitan well-done with pepperoni and small owner of wings. The pizza was a good, basic thin-crust pizza, but didn't seem to have been cooked to well-done. Next time I'll try ordereing it "crispy" or something like that. The wings are ok; they are fried and the sauce comes in a seperate container. The sauce tasted too buttery for me; I like mine with more spice and less butter flavor. Disclaimer: I am from Upstate NY and really picky about my wings. We will definitley go back; the pizza is way better than anything in the Narberth / Wynnewood / Ardmore area. This is not a gourmet pizza, just a solid Saturday-night-watch-the-Phillies-play-in-the-postseason kind of pie. Side note, when we went there to pick it up, it was really busy. Very lively, had a good neighborhood vibe.

Vincent's is by far the best pizza in the area, but what they really do best are the hoagies. Fresh is the one word that always comes to mind when thinking o the rolls, the meats, and the cheeses. Everyone in Overbrook (and 49th Street) grew up on Vince Rampa's dough. Their white pizza is just dough and oil with a bit of black pepper, and people often wonder why someone would order this, but then they taste it and realize just how delicious it is. They also make an excellent stromboli. When you order the large pizza you get a coupon on the box; save 10 and your next large pizza is free. The crew working in there have been there for years and years, and it is family owned and operated. The best thing is that they also deliver to most parts of Drexel Hill and Havertown.

Definitely the best pizza in Overbrook - a nice thin crust, great selection of good-quality toppings, and friendly service. The hoagies and cheesesteaks are great too.

Great pizza. One of the best in the city. They don't accept credit cards which is inconvenient at times but the food is awesome. Would get 5 stars if they accepted credit/debit cards.
