I'm going to be straight with you. I am not usually a fan of frozen yogurt. It just doesn't do for me what ice cream or even water ice can do. But after several visits to The Igloo, my mind has been changed. The Greek frozen yogurt is really, really good. I don't like plain frozen yogurt, but I like The Igloo's version. With some cookie crumbles on top, it's perfect. And something like 125 calories per serving. Just be mindful of that serving size while utilizing the single-size, serve-yourself bucket. I get the purpose of said bucket at a store that prices things out based on weight, but a single serving of fro-yo literally looks like... well, a drop in a bucket. Another thing I like about this place is that they aren't just frozen yogurt. They also serve a couple types of gelato, and water ice is on the agenda for this summer. The owners are super friendly and really care about their customer feedback. I'm so glad this place is in my neighborhood!

I'll never walk to center city for froyo again! The Igloo has a great selection of froyo flavors and toppings. I don't usually go wild for strawberry ice cream but theirs was actually really good, as were cake batter and cookies-n-cream. They also have these gorgeous gelato pops that I'd love to try. The staff is friendly and there's super cute seating outside that I'll be back to enjoy some balmy summer night.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some Igloo. I enjoy their seasonal flavors, like pumpkin, which actually tastes like a pumpkin cookie. However, something needs to be done about the serve yourself topping bar. I always thought it was rather unsanitary looking, all of those toppings just out in the open, but a recent visit really made me think twice before loading up my yogurt with oreos. Kids. Parents love taking their kids out for ice cream, especially on the weekends. I get it - kids love ice cream! However, kids also love toppings that are easily accessible. And when parents aren't looking, kids like to be sneaky and stick their hands all up in those toppings. Then they stick those toppings in their mouth. And the process repeats. Honestly, these are some pretty smart kids. They see candy, they wait until mom/dad is not looking and they take candy. Igloo = free candy!!! What kid wouldn't want to go there? I'm all about kids eating candy, but what I'm not about is kid germs on the candy, which potentially gets added as a topping on my yogurt. Are there any other germ-o-phobs out there who are with me on this?!

This is a great stop for frozen yogurt. They have a great selection of flavors including gelato and milkshakes. They don't have an extensive amount of toppings but they cover the necessities. I always judge the original tart and I like theirs. The place is also very clean and in a good location. Yum.

A great stop for anyone in the graduate hospital area ..I recommend the cookies and cream frozen yogurt with the mochi topping. The gelato bars are pretty good dipped with the hard chocolate shell I like how this place offers a variety of options such as water ice and milkshakes A little pricey with the weight of your yogurt but definitely worth a trip --they do offer punch passes so you can get your10th purchase for free!

The perfect end to a fantastic (and FINALLY warm!) spring weekend in Philadelphia. After braving the mayhem of the Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival yesterday and realizing that we still hadn't hit our requistite10k FitBit steps for the day, my boyfriend and I took advantage of the last bit of weekend sun and strolled down South Street. I had suggested we grab Rita's (I do recognize the irony of exercising while grabbing dessert), but thankfully he remembered The Igloo, so we decided to check it out. We walked in and were immediately greeted by a super friendly staff member. We compromised on a combo of strawberry, peanut butter, and cake batter flavors(admittedly weird, but so great) for our concoction. The Igloo has a ton of standard froyo place toppings - we went with rainbow jimmies, bananas, cookie dough, and coconut. I think we both decided that the cake batter was our favorite, but I really loved the strawberry and peanut butter flavors as well. I love how you can sit outside in the little Gray's Ferry Triangle to enjoy some people watching while enjoying your treats. Can't wait to come back on the next warm walk!

Treated my daughter and I after a few hours of playing in the park. Its a quaint establishment with blue and white themed walls. I didn't know what flavors to expect but decided on having lime, although Greek yogurt was delicious too. I believe there were only 8 flavors so i was slightly disappointed. My daughter chose cake batter with Reese's peanut butter and chocolate toppings. My topping were coconut, honey and almond pieces. Both desserts were tasty. The lime was deliciously light in flavor and blended well with the toppings. The price was based on weight and the orders totaled to a little over $7. Overall although the treats were good, I wasn't impressed at all. Need more selections for certain.

I was a bit hesitant to come here because I thought it was a your average chain self-serve froyo spot. I was WRONG. This place is fabulous! They don't just have froyo, they have sorbet, gelato, and gelato bars. Its a lot of fun to make your own sundae! The employees are always super helpful and friendly. The graduate hospital location has a really nice outside area to sit and enjoy the people watching. There is even a fountain.

Love this place! During the summer I love walking here to get yogurt and hang out by the fountain. I also appreciate the fri night movies for a low key evening when it's beautiful out. I don't normally like frozen yogurt, at least not to satisfy my chocolate craving, however I love this place! My favorite combination right now is the dark chocolate sorbet with peanut butter low fat yogurt. Not as bad for you in terms of desert and delicious! They have a ton of toppings and syrups to choose from so you can create a lot of combinations. Check it out!

  • Jordan G.

Good self-serve froyo. They had a Greek yogurt flavor that was delicious and tart. Also dark chocolate. Some of the toppings were behind glass and I felt uncomfortable having the guy scoop it for me so I opted out of those toppings. I had a peanut butter/rice Krispy sauce that was also delicious. Over good service and atmosphere. Not crowded for a Center city place, also seating is available.

Who doesn't like the Igloo? Seriously, tell me now. Errrrbody loves the 'gloo. The staff is SO nice. They're quick to offer a warm greeting and helpful with the tough choices like "cake batter or salted caramel gelato??" I like that I can bring my niece here and she can watch a movie while she noms her little cup of yogurt. Additionally, you can get a pup cup for your pooch topped with a dog treat. Yay Igloo!!

I love the manager here - she had a trying life and has a beautifully positive spirit through it. Her customer service and attentiveness to customers shows- she encourages you to sample, smiles and jokes with you constantly, puts on movies outside. Just a delightful ambiance for having w frozen treat lounging out with the grad hospital community.

On first entering Igloo we were greeted by a warm welcome and a smile. On a nice walk for lunch from 23rd & Chestnut to Igloo, it along with what they offer is very refreshing. I loved all the different choices for a non-dairy person like myself. The very nice woman provided samples of water ice and gelatos. Everything tasted delicious!! I got watermelon water ice. The bonus is it comes with a topping! I got watermelon and strawberries!! OMG

Best froyo I have ever had! You can taste the quality of the ingredients. I had the Greek yogurt froyo with fresh fruit and it was perfect. Staff is friendly, knowledgable, and full of excitement. So many different options to choose from other than just froyo, but not too many where it is overwhelming. Definitely will be returning frequently :)

Great options and atmosphere to cool down! The sitting area out front makes it a great place to relax. I tried the water ice flavors when there.

I have to agree with Michelle C. when I say that froyo isn't typically something I go crazy over. Yeah it's got that creative "build your own sundae" thing going for it, and it's supposedly "healthier" than ice cream (whatever that means). But this spot has changed my mind in a serious way. This is a neighborhood go to for me. First of all, it's got that local feel. It's situated on the little Grays Ferry triangle that this summer got turned into a small pedestrian park/picnic locale. There are always families surrounding this place, along with all other neighbors. There's elderly couples, there's young couples, there's me, by myself, filling my yogurt cup to the brim. The staff is always warm (in the Igloo, get it?!) and they are BRILLIANTLY open until 11pm even on weeknights, maybe even later during the weekend? Yes. The flavors are great and the selection is not too vast that you'll get caught up in a "what should I get?!" crisis. The toppings bar is always freshly stocked and they will replenish something for you if not. I like that there are other options-gelato, gelato bars, and it always seems like they're thinking of the next thing. I love the loyalty system, which is essentially a free yogurt for ever 10 you buy. It's more of a point/money system but that's what it works out to for me. I am obviously quite loyal. Any why wouldn't I be? This place is down the block, and there is a tasty greek froyo with toasted almonds and chocolate chips waiting for me. See ya later.

Second time here and I had an even better experience than the first! Their Greek yogurt (my favorite flavor ever out of all the froyo I've tried in my life) machine wasn't working properly so I was bummed - the guy working said to just wait a couple minutes to let it redo it's cycle. While I was waiting he was diligently trying to get as much as he could for me - then gave me a discount and a free extra ounce once the machine started working again! Seriously the best service I've ever gotten - I'm coming here again and again! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

It is a ritual that we come here when we're walking home from Markward playground. Such a great addition to our neghborhood. The staff is super friendly and always so cheerful every time we step foot through the door. They have so many great flavors including Greek yogurt (my fav), peanut butter, cookie and cream...just to name a few. There are also a nice topping selection...which my 7 yr old love to pile up on. There's also few huge flat screen TV's where they play all the latest kids movies at designated times. Love that! The outdoor seating is pretty awesome with bright tables/chairs and beautiful flowers....you almost forget you're in the middle of the street! On a super hot day.....froyo is perfect and you don't feel guilty!

Great service! I ordered the pup cups for my dogs but they were out of the dog biscuits that come with it. The manager literally ran to the store a few blocks down to buy more biscuits just for my order. Two thumbs up

They've endeavored to step their game up since the last time I was there with more choices and some ready made treats (even some for your pooch), but the flavors are stagnant and prices a bit high. Great atmosphere outside though, and fun decor inside. Could simply work on quality and variety. Not terrible for a neighborhood froyo spot.

  • Liz P.

Great place to stop after a walk in Schuylkill River Park! They're open relatively late too. I love the outdoor seating, which is almost always available. I think the greek yogurt flavor is underrated--great with granola or oreos as toppings. They recently switched from using cards for their loyalty program to using phone numbers, which is even more enabling for my froyo habit, since I don't even need to have my loyalty card with me to get the points.

  • Jackie W.

I'm addicted. best flavors: Greek yogurt and salted caramel next best flavors: cookies and creme and vanilla Every other flavor is still good (except for the tart). infinitely better than Yogorino and another other froyo place I've been to, and I'm def a Philly froyo snob. The prices are better, the quality is better. I wish every froyo place was Igloo.

  • Ellen W.

Really good froyo, reasonable prices, great topping selection. They also have really nice staff and full nutrition info, both of which are important to me. I recommend both the peanut butter yogurt and the chocolate sorbet.

At Igloo, it is all soft served, which is especially great if you have had recent dental work, but is also just great in itself. The soft serve comes in sorbets and frozen yogurt plus their 2 super special frozen items- a FAGE Greek yogurt flavor and a Salted Caramel gelato, both homemade. I skipped the traditional strawberry, chocolate, etc. in favor of the 2 specificity items. Both are served behind the counter, as opposed to the rest which are self serve. I topped it off with fresh strawberries, mango, and brownie bites. The Greek yogurt, made from 2% milk, is a pretty great low fat option. It is tart like Pinkberry/Red Mango, but more refined in my opinion. I really really liked it. But then there was the Salted Caramel. This is seriously divine. Its so creamy with a hint of burnt sugar balancing the sweetness. *I got to try this on preview day, so I have no idea how much it all costs and if it gets expensive!

  • Peter C.

Went here looking for something that could compete with Pinkberry w/in Philadelphia city limits, and I can say that my mission still seems to be unaccomplished. To start, I hate having to ask the cashier to pour samples for me at a self-serve yogurt bar. The flavors that I did taste weren't anything special. I was really looking forward to the Greek yogurt flavor, but it wasn't tart and the texture was as thick as concrete. I went for the original tart, which was their best flavor in my opinion. The toppings bar was a little sparse and I didn't like how they were separated. Overall, an average experience. Also, stuck to froyo, no one is going to compete with capogiro on the gelato front.

Thanks for coming to the neighborhood, Igloo. From the fact that everyone who lives south of South is carrying an igloo cup we can see you're doing well and we hope it stays that way. Lots of nonfat yogurt options that I didn't like as much as yogorino but it's growing on me- especially the greek variety but the machine is always having issues. Try the krokko topping-peanut butter and rice crispies that the friendly owner reminds me is "for extra protein."

Love this one of a kind yogurt spot. The location is perfect right inside if the south street square. My favorite is the blood orange yogurt with a scoop of sweet coconut on the top. Other notable yogurts are the plain Greek yogurt, salted caramel and pistachio. The place is super clean too. The only thing I noticed was that the topping were accessible by children, and we all know that they sometimes like to stick their hands in things, while mom & dad aren't looking. Which can make some people a little leary, including myself. But overall it's in a great location and a great addition to the graduate hospital neighborhood.

The Igloo is such a great addition to the neighborhood! I've had the original tart yogurt and dark chocolate sorbet and both are delicious. Great toppings selection too. I thought the pistachio sauce was a little weird... it hardened like Magic Shell when it hit the yogurt. Not exactly what I was expecting. I love that they have some outdoor seating too!

I am annoyed that I can't give The Igloo the 5 stars that I wanted to give it before my encounter with the owner this evening. I have been going to The Igloo since it opened. I have gone through multiple loyalty cards, raved about it to my friends, and even incorporate it into my post workout routine. The owner, who I've met multiple times, still stares blankly when I engage in conversation. He once told me to yelp about The Igloo if I want to see improvements or new flavors, so here I am. Tonight's customer service was as cold as the interior of an actual igloo. The owner, who was distracted, beleaguered and disinterested checked us out. My boyfriend handed him 11 dollars, and was shortchanged by a dollar. When he asserted that he was a dollar short, the owner did not give him the benefit of the doubt, the owner quibbled over it and lost a customer. When asked about the different toppings, he could barely answer. When I asked if there were any new loyalty cards since mine ran out, he smirked and sarcastically said that I could save the receipt if I really wanted to get my credit. The other employees are quite cheery and helpful... I just wish their boss would lighten up and maybe learn something from the people he hired. In terms of constructive criticism: The froyo is delicious... I wish they had cake batter flavor. It would also be nice if they listed all of the calorie/gluten/nondairy/nutrition facts for each froyo so customers could see what they were getting.

3 comments for this place, starting with the negative: -Twice in the last month, I walked over for dessert and they were closed at 9pm (supposed to be closed at 11 or midnight). I checked their facebook and twitter, no notice. No sign on the door. - I went this past weekend and got the cookie dough topping...which was expired. It was sour and tasted like old milk. Waste of money. Cookie dough lasts in the fridge for a long time. This must have been sitting out for days. I get that it's been cold, but that's inexcusable. If a child ate that, they'd get food poisoning. -Besides these two occasions, this place does have the best self-serve froyo in the city, and the employees are helpful. But, unreliable hours and spoiled toppings never pass in my book.

First Time ! Surely will not be my last. DESPITE the small selection of toppings the yogurt tastes amazing and I love how the hive u calorie counts. Has nice seating outside if you wanna enjoy the weather or have a dog. The customer service is great and so friendly as we'll. The frozen pops are also delicious.

I am suspicious of places where I have to weigh my food. I always think the scale is rigged and my dollars are being snatched from my pocket. But I love yogurt , so I go to these places. I am also incredibly cheap, I count to three Mississippi with two flavors and get one dusting of a lighter topping. That's it. This stingy amount usually brings me up to about $5 to $7 at most places. At igloo my cheapo method brings me down to $3.75. Yippee! Now does this low low price make me go nuts for more toppings ( perhaps strawberries or, dream of dreams, mango chunks?). No, because the yogurt is not good. The gelato is bland. And while I wonder at how Igloo has managed to invent different colors of air-flavored yogurt, the decor makes me feel like I am in a theme park version of a space shuttle. Cheap, yes. But the product is lightyears away from anything worth going back for.

The Igloo is a solid froyo place! It's self-serve, but beware: the machine pumps out froyo insanely fast. I pulled the lever down and one second later, my cup was already half full. I tried the Greek yogurt and the raspberry pomegranate, and they were both delicious. The Greek yogurt is their "must-try," and it's much creamier and richer than your average froyo. The raspberry pomegranate is more refreshing and something I'd go for on a hot day. They also list suggested toppings on each of their flavor signs, which is great if you're looking to try new things!

This place just rocks! My kids love frozen yogurt, esp making their own sundaes. They showed me their fave place in the burbs (in the Willow Grove mall) where they get their yogurt sundaes and now that this place is in town, they can feel right at home while visiting me here in the city. Thank you for being here. You're a great asset to our neighborhood!

I've been both hoping and worried about having a good frozen yogurt shop in the area. I was worried because I knew if I liked it then I would be back day after day. Well, these guys had to go and make some of the best Chocolate Sorbet I've ever had in my life. It's incredible and I'm already having cravings which I satisfied again tonight. I like the layout of the place and seems like it will make a 'cool' hang out spot. You have 2 options when you go in, you can grab a cup and fill it up as much as you want, including some toppings and pay by the ounce. Or, there are specialty flavors that are sold by the size, all reasonably priced. I'm looking forward to hanging out here on the hot summer days. Congrats and welcome to the neighborhood!

every time i've been here so far i have found a vegan option that is fruit based and no palm oil. this is HUGE. im aware the flavors rotate but so far so good! the vegan topping options are varied - they have nuts and coconut. pro tip: they charge by weight so fill up on how little or (in my case) how much you want!

The last thing a girl like me needs is a froyo joint opening up right where she lives - especially a good, cute one like The Igloo seemed to be based off of the number of people I had seen checking them out before I succumbed to my heart's desire for a cool treat on one of the first warm days of 2013. I went in the early evening, a bit after 6pm after a good workout class (thank god for calorie burn), and there were several small groups sitting and standing outside where they had tables and chairs set up. Almost immediately after I entered, a little boy ran in, his father not far behind, yelling out exactly what he wanted to get, so excited for some froyo that you had to smile at his adorable enthusiasm.Their prices are about what you can expect at all of the other froyo places, both self-serve and fixed price. I was able to taste a few flavors before finally grabbing a large cup for self-serve. There were I think 8 self-serve flavors and two specialty flavors that you had to order by size, plain Greek yogurt and Salted Caramel Gelato. After tasting the caramel gelato, though, I HAD to get a small size of it in addition to my froyo, and raced home with my prizes. They have a small selection of toppings, mostly candy, nut, cookie/brownie pieces types of toppings, plus like 6 different sauces, too, clearly appealing to the kids/families in the area since there's less of a health emphasis on the toppings. I skipped toppings since I could add my own at home if I wanted (yay pretzels!), and tucked into my sizable cup of froyo: Dark Chocolate Sorbet: as dark as you would expect from a dark chocolate ice cream or gelato, a seriously deep, rich, creamy, satisfying chocolate flavor that you would not guess is sorbet. Peanut Butter: a very sweet and light peanut butter flavor, not natural tasting, but probably something kids would like. Red Mango has a better PB froyo that actually tastes like natural PB Vanilla: very pronounced vanilla flavor, people who LOVE vanilla will definitely enjoy this flavor, and it seemed a bit icier than the others Cookies & Cream: very light flavor, kinda icy but less so than the vanilla, it tasted like a cookies & cream milkshake due to the light chocolate-vanilla flavor Caramel gelato: super creamy, rich, sweet caramel, incredibly delicious, I highly recommend getting this flavor over the others - although you may regret not getting more once you finish. I certainly did - yeah, it's that good.

I didn't know what to expect when I walked into the Igloo but I was impressed with their organized and clean approach to Fro-yo as well as the many options they offer. In addition to Fro-Yo, they have all kinds of Gelato, Sorbet, and Water Ice. I was in a Gelato mood and settled on the Salted Caramel and Dark Chocolate Hazelnut flavors. I should probably tell you that the Salted Caramel was life-changing and probably the best Gelato flavor I've ever had. The Dark Chocolate Hazelnut was really good too and added a nice balance to the 2 flavors. My girlfriend soon regretted her decision to get Fro-Yo and couldn't get enough of my Gelato. She was in dessert heaven and I was impressed by this new neighborhood spot. If you are searching for some good Gelato and don't live around the corner from Capigiro, check this place out.

Stopped here for the first time impulsively on my walk home yesterday because I saw an open table outside and it was a gorgeous day. I'm an ice cream fan and don't usually go for frozen yogurt, but this place is going to convert me. The woman behind the counter asked right away if I'd been there before, and when I said no she explained how it works, and I love their system! You just take a big cup and fill it however you want with flavors and toppings, and pay by weight. I was still a little cautious so I only got cookies and cream with a couple toppings, but it was wonderful. I also loved how many toppings were available- really anything you could want, even my favorite- cookie dough bites. When I paid, she punched a card that will give you a free cup on your 10th visit. I live just down the street and I'm planning to make this place a regular stop during the summer. Great customer service and great product.

I love that this place is a short walk from me. The staff is super friendly. I usually get the regular, Greek yogurt, or chocolate yogurt and cover it with coconut flakes, cheesecake, mochi, and fruit toppings... Yum!

The Igloo was a much-needed addition to the neighborhood, and it has been packed every time I have walked by! We tried it for the first time last night and were quite impressed. The Greek yogurt froyo and the salted caramel soft serve gelato were our favorites. Only complaints were the lack of toppings (not a huge selection - I really hope they add more!!!) and the pistachio hot topping. I definitely wasn't expecting the pistachio hot topping to harden (wouldn't have ordered it had I known) and I thought it tasted kinda weird. Overall, this place is awesome and we will definitely be back many a time this summer!

I love frozen yogurt...and I love not having to walk down to 4th and South Street to get delicious self serve frozen yogurt! We stopped by here last night and was immediately greeted by the workers. They have a decent selection of flavors, although not as many as other local FroYo places in the area. I was huge fan of the strawberry...it was bursting with flavor and tasted like fresh strawberries...very crave-able. The vanilla, peanut butter, and original tart were all a perfect balance to get well with a variety of toppings. My only complaint was lack of fruit toppings... they only had strawberry, mango and blueberry...

Here's how much I love fro-yo: not only will I set aside my disdain for the horrible shortened nickname 'fro-yo,' I'll even schlep over in cold weather and sit outside to eat it. We walked over Saturday night and The Igloo did not disappoint, though now I'm seriously wary of its proximity to my house. They have a great selection of flavors and toppings, and I thought the guy at the counter mis-weighed my bounty of original tart flavor covered in mini gummy bears and strawberry pieces (don't judge me); no way could it be that cheap! I have a feeling that punch-card is going to be getting quite the workout when the weather warms up. Welcome to the neighborhood, Igloo!

I really enjoy this place and love that it is 2 blocks away! My favorite frozen yogurt so far is the raspberry pomegranate and the Greek yogurt. These flavored are delicious. I usually mix these two flavors and top it with granola. Also, I am glad they brought back the lemon syrup! It hardens into a sweet shell on the frozen yogurt and tastes delicious when it mixes with the yogurt and granola. Please keep the lemon syrup on the menu!!

I'm in the neighborhood and was really excited to hear that some dessert options were coming to the area. I tried the Igloo for the first time during the first week they opened and I was not impressed. The staff was not too knowledgeable about the froyo and they didn't have as extensive of a topping selection as some of the other froyo places in Center City. But I figured that was the first week and I'd give it another try so I went back last week. The service was better and the girl was really friendly and helped answer some of my questions. However, the froyo wasn't much better. My husband had the greek yogurt which was okay and I had the chocolate sorbet and it was not good at all. From what I hear from my neighbors, they feel like most of the flavors are pretty bland here. I'd say this place is a notch below the better froyo places in center city like Yogorino and Sweet Ending, so I'd rather walk a little bit further to get better stuff. I'm also not a big fan of paying by weight. I don't like not knowing what I'm going to end up paying for something. It always ends up being way more than I had planned to spend for a treat on a nice evening walk after dinner. Overall, it's okay but I wouldn't be a regular.

I've come here far too many times to not write a review! I love love love their tart flavored frozen yogurts! Especially the ones that are thick and tangy. I would come here for the Greek yogurt froyo and they also have seasonal ones like pumpkin. I usually mix up dark chocolate (OMG SO GOOD) and peanut butter together with mochi. Their froyo is delicious but the only thing lacking is the small choices of toppings. I won't complain about not having enough toppings but I do wish that they had more. It's definitely not enough for me to stop going there because this is now my new place to go whenever there's a bad day...it's bad when you try to rationalize that froyo is good for you...on a daily basis. Haha!

I was so happy to see that there is a Frozen Yogurt place in my neighborhood and couldn't wait to give it a try! I always see people outside so I figured that it would be great but I was honestly a little bit disappointed by all of it. Although the flavors are good they are very limited. There are few topping choices in comparison to other places but the overall quality is fine. The employee was great and she just couldn't stop talking but I enjoyed the conversation. Overall it's a great spot for the area but I wish that they had more to offer!

I ordered the water ice. I had to explain to the employee what the menu said it was and was then overcharged. A scoop was placed precariously on top and promptly fell on the floor. The person working behind the counter said, "that sucks" when I asked for a napkin to clean it up. Not only not offering to replace it, but also not assisting in cleaning it up. The remaining scoop wasn't particularly good either.

This place is great! Adorable store and really great fro-yo. They even have hot toppings, some of which are imported from Italy! It's a bit of a hike from my place, but I'd go out of my way for it. It's that good!

Great delicious frozen yogurt/sorbet and a good addition to the 'hood. Excellent flavors with a rich creamy, non-processed taste. Good selections of toppings and friendly, helpful staff!

Tasty, but overpriced. I paid $5 for what I thought was a small amount of frozen yogurt. I didn't have toppings or anything extra in the cup. I'm disappointed because I like the yogurt, but it should have cost about $3 for the amount I had in my cup.

Outstanding!! I have been to almost all of the frozen yogurt places in the city (I know, it's a problem), and The Igloo has officially become my favorite (Sorry, KIWI!). The employees are friendly, helpful, and efficient. Food: I've tried the following frozen yogurt flavors: vanilla, peanut butter, cookies-n-creme, and coffee. The flavors genuinely taste good - none taste remotely artificial and none are too sweet. The yogurt is creamy rather than icy - more of like a soft-serve ice cream than frozen yogurt.Toppings are limited compared to the offerings of other stores, but the freshness of all toppings makes up the number. I'd love to see Butterfinger or Heath bar pieces, but for now the snickers and mini reese's pieces are terrific. What makes the Igloo stand out from other froyo places is that it offers hot toppings, particularly hot fudge sauce. Decor: Always very clean. Love that the inside looks like an igloo, and that there is a television that features sporting events. Finally, a frozen yogurt place that isn't pink and green! It looks like The Igloo offers a frequent buyer card, but I haven't been offered one yet - I will have to ask next time I go. It would be great if they could tell customers about that reward program, though!

Yummy in da tummy. After hearing Scoop de Ville was closing, I did not know what would replace them. I generally am skeptical of frozen yogurt places, but Igloo is great!!!

I was very happy to see this place open up in the neighborhood. Delicious, self serve frozen yogurt+toppings, done well and at a reasonable price.

average amount of flavors but very limited amount of toppings. Also one the machine's middle lever is faulty. It dropped a heavy portion of yogurt that made my cup flip over and made a huge mess.

I am a raving fan of Igloo. I am also a raving fan of the owners Zack and Bill! After 12 years working on behalf of nonprofit organizations I found myself out of work and with a family to care for. I met Bill for coffee and he offered to bring me in as a manager/supervisor. Zack and Bill covered my expenses to get ServSafe certified and allowed me to really be an integral part of the team. They will never know how much their generosity and kindness impacted me and my family and I will always be grateful to them for being stellar leaders and amazing people. I am now moving on from igloo for a new opportunity, but customers should know that the sweet taste is the tip of iceberg when it comes to Igloo!
