Subway is a Subway- the sammiches do in a pinch but in a city known for hoagies there's always a lot to be desired. I enjoyed my lunch, the kids liked their apples and milk that came with theirs. It's a tight squeeze but there is ample seating upstairs. They had one high chair but I had two babies with me. I can imagine with the location they get a lot of riffraff so they locked bathroom door nearly wasn't opened in time for my 3 year old potty trainer. It was good- I'd stop by again if we were on foot and hungry like we were that day.

Smaller store. Very clean. Staff usually friendly. Seems a bit confusing there the way counter is set up

Tiny bugs crawling and flying all over the inside of the sneeze guard - the side closest to the food. And the kid working there tells me they can't do anything about it. GROSS. Eat here at your own risk. Triple F minus.

There are plenty of Subways in the city, and a few within a few blocks of this one. But this one is by far the best. It's clean, open all the time (9 to 9 every day), and staffed by non-surly people. I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch, and one day, when the credit card machine was broken, the cashier was genuinely - genuinely - sorry that it wasn't working. Plus, they offer veggies, like spinach, not found at the other Subways. Do not be intimidated if there's a line - the people there have an awesome assembly line system. It's also right by a few of the major hotels, including the Four Seasons, so you never know who might be there. I went there for lunch a few weeks ago on a Tuesday, and this Subway was totally overrun by a model United Nations. What that means: about a dozen astoundingly nerdy teenage kids with buttons and placards were there ordering sandwiches. I was in line behind Yemen and Afghanistan, who annoyingly bought a twelve inch sandwich which they wanted split with different toppings on each half. The staff worked with the two nations, It was nice to see them working together, of course. Also, I'm pretty sure Israel was buying a ham and cheese, which, was pretty funny. Anyway, the subway kids cleared the line with incredible speed, thanks to the crack staff there. As I'm ordering up, the guy who takes my bread order does a double take and I turn around and that's Adam Morrison and (I think) Andrew Bynum walking in. So yeah, this Subway is near Four Seasons, where the visiting NBA teams stay, and even on 20 degree days like that day there are autograph hounds standing outside by there trying to catch these guys. I have absolutely no idea why these two guys, who make 5.2 and 12.5 million dollars this season, opted for Subway over the Four Seasons. I also want to meet Bynum's agent, because, seriously. Anyway, I said what's up to Adam Morrison (he said what's up), and ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THE MODEL UN KIDS EVEN NOTICED THE TWO VERY TALL NBA PLAYERS waiting patiently behind them in line. Indoor kids.

Friendly employees, who now after making my sandwich a gazillion times, greet me with a very warm welcome and know exactly what I want. My usual is a foot long chicken breast sandwich on honey oat bread. I have the bread scooped out and the chicken breast toasted. They used to keep the chicken in a warmer, but that recently changed and they now keep it with the cold meats. I also get lettuce, tomato, spinach and cucumbers with salt & pepper and ranch dressing. It always hits the spot! Just recently I switched it up and ordered the chicken on honey oat but with spinach, tomatoes, hot peppers, pickles, salt & pepper with chipotle sauce. They also have soups. My personal favorite is the brown rice with chicken. Don't forget a point card. For every $1 you spend, you get a point and it adds up pretty quickly. I get a free foot long sandwich at least once a month, just by hitting $75 points.
