I had a meeting in south philly today and lunch was catered by Subway. At first I felt let down that I'm in south philly with all these great sandwich places and I'm stuck eating subway. But boy was I wrong. The food was do good and I loved the lunch box they served it in. Also the cookie was so tasty. I have to admit that subway has upped their game and food was even better than panera and Corner bakery were we usually cater from in our blue bell office.

When I want Subway, this is my go-to location. The sandwich artists are always pleasant and I love that the quality is consistent each time I visit.

Subway is the only 'fast food' I eat, and this location is probably my favorite in the city. The bread is always fresh. One the best parts about this place is that they always have plenty veggie patties on hand, which for a vegetarian, is a nice option. I got a footlong Veggie Delite yesterday and it was a good, cheap dinner. The components were decent for what they were, albeit none of high quality or in their prime. The hoagie was well made with the right amounts of oil and vinegar and seasoning. It's pretty well kept in the dining area, and the staff has always been professional and quick. I've never had a language barrier at this location, and I go in once a month or so. Nothing earth shattering here folks, it's still a Subway, but it's a decent one.

This Subway has the rudest employees. They would just wrap up your sandwich without asking if you're done with picking out what you want in it and have the nerve of giving you an attitude because you tell them you want something else in there. B!$&?, perhaps you should have asked "anything else?" before wrapping up my sandwich!!!!

I am pro-immigration and pro-service worker, but had serious problems with language + communication at this subway. Like, if I can tell someone is making a genuine effort to communicate, benefit of the doubt, immediately. BUT...at this subway, there was some kind of massive problem with speaking and eliciting a response that coincided with the original request. very confusing. there was also a problem with determining whether the sandwich makers really cared if he heard you or not???? that sandwich was fine though???? it just took a long time to achieve. very weird subway.

Obviously if you have eaten at subway before the food is the same at every location the difference is the staff. This subway is HORRIBLE for service. They have two girls that work there that are friendly and polite. Every other girl they have working there is just down right rude. One girl even tries to put less meat on your sandwich if she thinks you are not looking. They act like it is an inconvenience if you have to ask them what kind of soup they have but you always have to ask because they never update the board that tells you. I, unfortunatly, am stuck going to this location if I want subway for lunch because I only have a short lunch break and this is the only location that I am able to make it to in my time frame. If you are able to avoid this subway I would definatly reccomend finding a different location.
