Prime location and pretty fast service.

This is my least favorite Starbucks in the city. Forget about it if you are in any kind of a hurry. Even a three-person line with four people working behind the counter tends to slow everyone down to the pace of that giant turtle in the Neverending Story. While you are waiting in line, craving your caffeine rush before you face your workday, and the person in front of you orders a grande Pike Place that, for some reason, takes two people two minutes to prepare and ring up, you will wish that the Oracles were there to shoot you with their laser eyes, and put you out of your misery. On the plus side, it's not very busy and has a nice crowd of regulars, so it tends to be a bit more social than some of the other 'bucks nearby.

Love this Starbucks! It's close and convenient for me, there is never a line and the employees are always fast and nice, too!

Never a long line, friendly and quick service! Comparing this to the location in Macy's makes it look like a 5 star spot.

This Starbucks was alright compared to many others I've been to. Their wasn't much of a line, and my order was taken quickly. The service was a tad slow but I was in no rush. The specialty drink I got was good; however, I believe it comes with a chocolate drizzle on top and the barista did not put this on top of the whipped cream. I was a little disappointed, but the experience was good overall.

I like this Starbucks because it's generally less busy than the others in the area. I normally don't have a problem getting a table and the wi-fi usually works.

I've been back to this location this summer, and see they now have water at the ready, even for non-customers. Well done, if only they would bring back the spinach and feta wrap. A solid 3 stars, which is probably about right for any Starbucks.

So far this is the fastest Starbucks I've encountered in Center City. The employees tend to be pleasant. The soymilk in my latte has only been heated too hot once (it keeps cooking unlike milk and develops a burnt cookie taste when this happens).

Starbucks is Starbucks. The drinks, the food, the atmosphere is the same as every other Starbucks. The difference with this one is the staff. They are wonderful. They are always friendly and helpful and they always seem to go out of their way to help me. I really enjoy it here.

Never sat in there and had my coffee before, but, I must say this is one of the cleanest and quietest locations I've been to. Really nice and efficient staff, as well.

Great starbucks. Awesome location right on broad street. So if you are in your way into Center City from South Philadelphia this is the perfect stopping place. Reletively short lines. And I really enjoy the local art work, along with some of the local acts that come in. Also a lot of space to sit down and do some work/ studying. I have visited a lot of starbucks and this one ranks in the top.

I had an AWFUL experience. The bearded, white dude with pierced ears really killed my vibe. He was rude to my friend when she asked to use her Starbucks card. Afterwards, he saw me walk back and forth from my seat and the bathrooms to check if they were available, but failed to tell me that I had to use a key. Eventually, a customer was kind enough to share this information with me. I used the key to open the bathroom door and put it back on the counter. I figured that it wasn't very busy there and I was only going to wash my hands for a second, so I didn't need secured privacy. However, when I was about to walk into the bathroom, the guy yells, "SOMEONE WILL WALK IN BEHIND YOU IF YOU DON'T BRING THE KEY IN!" in the most rude, obnoxious, and condescending tone possible. Later, when he made my drink, it was overflowing all over the cap and it spilled everywhere. I could not even enjoy my blueberry scone or drink because I was SO INFURIATED BY THIS RUDE BARISTA. Ugh, he totally ruined the experience.

BY FAR THE WORST STARBUCKS IN TOWN TO STUDY AT! *** ***That is obviously a false statement- I'm hoping people who don't really read these see it and it keeps them from studying here and taking up my tables :) This is actually my favorite study spot in all of Philadelphia... and I am NOT a starbucks person. Reasons: 1. Free wifi 2. WITH PLENTY OF OUTLETS 3. Nice staff 4. Only tables made for two people- so it prevents annoying crowds that talk a lot (yet somehow they still miss the handicap sign on the front table) 5. I don't get phone service here... which you may think is initially a problem... until you realize how productive you are! 6. It's steps away from public transit, yet tucked away enough to keep it from being swarmed by the 9-5'ers 7. I'm not sure if it's because it's located next to Fox and Hound or that it is close to the gay district... but it would be a lie if I said I didn't enjoy the man candy that walks by between 4-6pm every weekday :) 8. Also, it seems to be people who actually study... i'm sure the two person seats and unlimited triple white chocolate mocas don't hurt that any tho (not that I order those...) 9. They don't care if you bring outside food in... as they realize no real person could sit there for 12 hours straight and eat the crap they have

This Starbucks is the closest to my house, but it's also close to many of the University of the Arts dorms, so if you want a place to sit and drink your latte amongst a lot of teens in legwarmers, you've got it. It doesn't get the huge crowds of the Market or Walnut St. stores, but it also doesn't seem to be adequately staffed for the rushes they do get. The drinks, as with most Starbucks, are barista dependent. Some are great, some are good, and occasionally they're bad. It does the trick most of the time though, and if the line is too long I just skip it, knowing I'll find another coffee place in a couple blocks.

I visited this shop a number of times during my hotel stay for a conference. I was very pleases with the fast service. On one visit I was given an extra syrup shot for free. Nice touch. There is a small but comfortable seating area with couches. The only thing I did not like was the design of the store positioned the pickup bar in a corner of the store which causes a bit of a traffic jam during busy times.

great location with very efficient baristas. i've only had one problem here with an order, but the situation was quickly and professionally handled by the manager. very busy location so if you're distracted easily, i wouldn't necessarily choose this place to study or read.
