So, I'm paying $2.43 for a large (venti...or whatever they call it) cup of coffee; too bad I don't soak up some of that free wi-fi like others who seem to linger there for hours. The coffee is some of the best, most consistent and I'm a huge fan of paying via iphone and their rewards program. Cashiers/Baristas always seem friendly at this location and always get my order right, but then again how hard is it to pour a cup of tall black? Over the past year I've become a Starbucks loyalist and gold card member. Love the coffee and service here.

This review brought to you by a double-shot of espresso - and a double-shot of sass. Even on a weekday at 9 PM they were still open and occupied: A mix of students and bored locals were sitting around and escaping the heat, mostly abusing the cafe's now-free Wi-Fi. Relaxing at their bar, we spied a pair of older ladies trolling YouTube, too. (I wonder what they were watching.) Chipper staff got me what I needed, and fast. After swilling my espresso, we were on our merry way. Not into Starbucks? Hit up the Chapterhouse Cafe nearby.

I could never give any more stars to a Starbucks. Their coffee is good and all but I hate the rude hipsters and snobs who flock and take over. This particular one has a back entrance away from the beards finger banging their Crapple laptops so you can order and then bolt. *edit* Karen is hands down the best employee there and deserves a raise, everyone else gives sub par service and drinks.

Most of the staff is friendly here, but the environment is just weird. It's not like a regular starbucks. People come in here all the time and just use the free wifi without even buying coffee. That's just not how a starbucks is supposed to be. I gave them one star because when I asked for a refill this morning, since I used my starbucks card app to pay, I received the dirtiest look from the cashier. I wish I knew his name so I could post it here. I also asked if I needed a key for the bathroom, again a dirty look. I guess I'm only a valuable customer when I'm buying gifts for people and spending cold hard cash on merchandise. When I ask for the free refill I am entitled to because of the star rewards I have earned then I get treated with disrespect. At what starbucks could this ever occur but this one? I have never come across such treatment at any other location. At starbucks you get treated with respect. Except for this one.

I stop in this Starbucks a couple times a week. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and I'm definitely a sucker for free parking. I love big coffee shops that you can go and sit for hours and feel relaxed..this is one of those. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I went in and now I keep going back!

Since bookstores and their cafes are dissapering, Starbucks is the only bastion left to enjoy a cup of coffee and sit relax, read, chat or peruse your PC.

This is by far my favorite Starbucks. I frequent here every morning, and the staff is just an absolute pleasure to chat with each day. They have it down to a science. From knowing the orders of regulars to ensuring there's always coffee brewing, this Starbucks is a well oiled machine! If every company had associates such as these, we wouldn't need customer complaint lines! Ms Deb is the best!!!

Not every Starbucks is the same. You can easily separate the cream from the crop when you look at their level of service and consistency in making their drinks. This Starbucks unfortunately curdles and drops to the bottom of the pack. The service is just plain bad compared to other Starbucks, it takes forever to get served and the drinks do not taste as good as other locations. It is obvious that the management here has a long way to go in living up their corporate standards.

This is my go to Starbucks in the Manayunk/Roxborough area. Starbucks products, decently fast service, standard ambiance. The place also gets packed with people studying, but I can normally manage to get a seat. Free wifi is a plus, an the place is generally clean. PROTIP: If Ms. Deb is working she can make you smile.

Almost every time (maybe 8+ times) I have gone into this Starbucks, the staff seems less than interested in helping me or anyone, they are always chatting with each other or attending to other work seeming related things, but leaving the register unattended. One employee even snapped at me bc I didn't understand that adding a shot of vanilla to something meant it was 'sweetened', dumb I know, but I thought sweetened meant adding simple syrup. Live and learn. Atmosphere is usually pretty good, big tables for work and play. It's your typical Starbucks experience, just not nearly as friendly.

Everyone knows Starbucks so my review will do little to win or loose your heart; this review "ain't" about the coffee. I've been coming here for 2 years now and the one cashier "Ms Deb" as she wears on her name tag is simply as good as caffeine. She always greets you with a sincere smile, genuine laugh and here positive attitude is worthy of anthony Robbins jealousy. As you can I also can go to a million different starbucks but I choose this one for my 2 minute interaction with Ms Deb to start my morning. Lv you girl! I hope you read this and I pay you back an ounce of the smiles you bring me!

Only been in twice to grab coffee and treats, but it's really pretty inside and there seems to be a lot of seating. They even have an outdoor seating space. The staff is quick and friendly as well. I'm glad this is right near my new house!

This is a Starbucks. I am a huge Starbucks fan, don't get me wrong. I absolutely love a venti bold brew, black, and their coffee is deep and rich and just like my father forced me to drink (none of that "fru fru stuff"). The thing is, being a frequent bucks-er, there's a few things you come to expect and this location misses the beat on one key aspect. 1) get me my coffee so I can get the f*ck out and on with my day. I have NEVER not seen a snaking line at this place. It is, without a doubt, the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to and I grew up in the southwest. Good god people, you know your address is Philadelphia, right? We are city people who walk at a city's pace who want our coffee at a city's speed. If I wanted my cashier to nurture me and call me "baby" I would drive my way out to the 'burbs. If you're looking to grab a quick cup of coffee on your way to work, find somewhere else, because this place will undoubtedly ensure that you arrive late to work like a jackass, too embarrassed to bring your Starbucks cup in with you... I will say, parking is great, location is nice and the interior bodes well to coffee enjoyment. But it frustrates the living hell out of me.

Worst attitude that I've received in a Starbucks so far. I asked for a frapuccino without whip cream n she initially refused to make it, then she made it n didn't put chocolate syrup in it. At this point I was fed up n left. I don't need to start a war in a Starbucks over a drink but she could have done without the attitude...

When I informed a partner that there was no soap in one of the bathrooms her immediate response was, "well just use the other bathroom".

Ok, admittedly I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks and initially I only came in to use their WiFi...but the staff is really what won me over. Everyone that works there is super nice and if you come in regularly they make an effort to learn your name get to know you a little bit, which i like. They play good music too. And their passion iced tea is delicious. Hi Mrs. Deb!!!

Ridge Avenue, Roxborough, PA I really like the front big table and window view at this Starbucks. Sets me (and starbucks DECAFF) into a dreamy mood...looking forward to come daydream again here. :-) Few parking slots in the back.

The line was out the door... We didn't even go in. They are always do busy and the wait is always slow...I guess they need to hire more people.

Ms. Deb is the best !! My wife and I always get the greatest treatment when Ms. Deb is working. She remembers our orders and always has a cheerful word to say. Peace

The address on Yelp for this Starbucks actually isn't correct - it's really 6024 Ridge Avenue in the Roxborough Ridge Commons. But that's beside the point. There aren't many places in Philadelphia that you can expect great service from, but this Starbucks has never, ever failed to impress me. The atmosphere is pretty much the same as any of their other locations, but the staff are some of the friendliest, personable people you'll ever meet. They eventually get to know you by name, and even remember what you drink. I've never once, in my many visits to this location, ever had anyone who was anything less than extremely pleasant to take my order. I once made a pickup of five drinks for a group of people, and my particular drink (an iced mocha latte) was prepared with vanilla instead of mocha. Since I'm just right around the corner and it happened to be a nice day for a February, I walked back to the store, just to see what they'd do if I asked for them to replace it. Not only did the woman gladly replace it, repeating multiple times that she was sorry, but she gave me the new drink in a Venti size when I originally ordered a Grande, but also gave me a free drink coupon for the next time I was in. I've made it a point to contact corporate about this location because I feel every member of their staff deserves recognition. It's getting more and more difficult to find pleasant service, but this place definitely tops the charts.

Oh man, this place is great! For a while, I was in here every Monday and Friday morning with a friend. Not only did they remember our drinks, but always greeted us with a smile. What kind of corporate chain does that? Their drinks are flawless. I finally figured out why their iced coffee is superior to all others... I'm pretty sure they cold brew it which makes it a ton smoother. Anyone that says that the Bux isn't worth the extra price is absolutely nuts ... love Starbucks, love this location more.

This review is less about the place - Starbucks is Starbucks and they make great coffee - and more about the staff. I'm a regular at this place and the people who work here keep me coming back. They remember who you are, what you drink, even my crazy custom breakfast order, and are so friendly, even when it is busy. This place is lucky to have Steve, Jay, and Debbie.
