The service was fine. Two issues: Minor- the wifi did not work well. I was able to easily log on to the wifi from the yogurt store next to the Starbucks Major-a panhandler came in. We were sitting. He approached us for money. We refused. He persisted for sometime. The employees did not ask him to leave.

I usually go to the Starbucks at 15th and Market due to convenience, but I'm going to start coming here more often since its just a 10 minute walk away. This is my second time at this location and I'm writing this review as I'm sitting here. Compared to other Starbucks in the area, this one is much more capacious and has many more seats and outlets. At other coffee shops, I constantly find myself searching for a place to sit, and this usually results in me failing and having to migrate to another coffee shop. I haven't had such experiences here yet. The spaciousness also allows me to think better and feel less claustrophobic, even when there are a lot of people around. This is a great place for studying and getting work done. With that being said, the wifi is also fast, reliable, and free (yay!). Lastly, service both times have been friendly and accommodating; Drinks were made properly. The only complaint I have is that both times that I've been here, there were loud customers who were really distracting while I was trying to get work done.

This is my favorite Starbucks in Center City. Service is fast and friendly. I don't go to Starbucks more than twice a month, and the cashier in the mornings still remembers my name and my order. I'm always very impressed with her recollection. Occasionally, they run out of spinach and feta breakfast wraps, so get there early to make sure you get the food you want.

15 minutes from the time I walk in to the time I walk out, on a regular basis. There is never enough staff. This is common among Center City Starbucks, but that doesn't make it unavoidable. I used to frequent the Starbucks in DC outside Gallery Place, and there were usually six people working at a time, not two or three. In and out in six or seven minutes, even when the line went out the door.

I usually love this star bucks, but this time the older women making my drinks was rude.

This is my least favorite Starbucks location of the dozen or so Starbuckses within a half mile radius of it. They don't deal well with crowds, the bathroom is dismal, and they are often out of things. When you have the tantalizing signs advertising my seasonal favorite gingerbread latte, you cannot be out of gingerbread syrup. I have heard a rumor that their new manager hails from the dynamite Starbucks located at 10th and Chestnut. I am hopeful this may to lead to some improvement, so I will give this one more chances and update as warranted.

A Starbucks with PLENTY of outlets and seating! Ample bar seating with an outlet for each seat, larger tables towards the back with outlets as well. Cheap, quick eateries all around if you need a break from your work: Maoz, Chipotle, Jake's, Rice & Mix, Marabella, etc.. There was a weird group of staff today, one that talked about philosophers and the other, who put lime in my drink with her bare hands. Other than that, a standard Starbucks catered soley to the student.

It serves its purpose: caffeine served without delay. space for people watching. space for working on your laptop. a bit fishbowl-like because of all the windows and it being located on a corner.

This place works like a well-oiled machine in the mornings and will give you the in-out real savage (shout out to clockwork orange). The store is clean, the employees are friendly, the drinks are made correctly and quickly, there is a outdoor seating, what more could you want from a Starbucks? Comfy chairs? Yea I guess having some comfortable chairs would be nice since this place is mostly small tables and wooden chairs. As Vince Vaughn would say this Starbucks is "built for speed not comfort.."

This is more of a review for all Starbucks in general, and specifically, for its chai latte. I've been on the hunt for great chai latte (since I've given up on coffee), and so far, Starbucks ranks number 1! Taking away one star because consistency in quality is not always there - from Starbucks to Starbucks and even within the same Starbucks.

Great staff, fast service and plenty of seating. Bathroom is filthy, smells like death and the customers are a mix of crazy, college students with a few hotties thrown in.

I love this Starbucks for so many reasons, but mainly because the people there genuinely seem to enjoy working there. The seating area is also larger than most other Starbucks in city limits and everything in here is well-maintained and very clean. Never had a problem with drink consistency or the time it takes to make them. I've definitely been to a couple Starbucks along my travels where they have no communication between employees, leaving my marked cup sitting on the counter for those few extra minutes while I'm trying to rush out the door. Luckily, this is my neighborhood Starbucks and I'm fortunate to have such friendly employees greeting me every time I walk in.

How is this Starbucks not already on Yelp??? This is my favorite Starbucks, hands down, in the city. I know, I know, all Starbucks are theoretically the same, so what makes this one special? Well, for one, the location. Prime location for those of us who live in my neighborhood. Also, the staff really make this place shine. As nearly every tip on Foursquare will tell you, Denise is the friendliest, most helpful barista in the city. She knows me by name and always rings up my usual order without me having to say a word. It's little touches like that that make this place great. Aside from that, and the recent remodel that seemingly doubled the seating capacity, this place is your typical Starbucks, with all the usual food and beverage offerings. It's just a lot better than the one on Broad (no seating) or Chestnut (always completely dead, meh baristas).

This Starbucks has staff that is much nicer than many other Starbucks. They are willing to take the time to customize your order and help you with little things that you need. Today I had to get an emergency message to a friend who I was going to meet, but was unable to meet (and who did not have a cell phone). When I called the store, the man you answered enabled me to get the message to my friend. It was greatly appreciated!
